Layer mass will let paint black to reveal but I click on white and paint it won't conceal
With my layer mask when I paint with black it reveals but when I paint in white it won't conceal.

It could be your not understanding what we write either. Many here are experts on using Photoshop and masking. It clear Masking is not working for you the way you want the way you state it use to work. Therefore something has changed in your setup. You stated that black use to reveal and and white hide. In reality black does both hides and reveal. It hides areas in the layer the layer mask is on which reveals what is in lower visible layers. You state white reveals again it does both it reveals and it hides. If the current layer mask was hiding area in the layer its on which reveals what is in lower visible layers when you paint with white it will hide what is in lower layer by revealing what is in the layer it on. Layer masks are like a stencil Black cuts out what is in the layer white leave what is in the layer there. Also visible layers above a masked layer can hide all layer below and any effect a lower layer mask may cause.
As Noel wrote some screen grabs showing your image window, layers palette showing layers and target layer mask, tool pallet and tools option bar for your brush tool active and the areas your painting Black and White and will enable some here to help point the way and shade light on your problem.

If just some of the tracks on the album are giving you that message, that suggests that those tracks are damaged.

ok so i have one moniter to the right of me and i want to keep my google chrome on that one but still be abel to use space on the many monter. cuz when you go to spaces it movies both moniter i hope that help and i hope that you can help me.

My iPad will not let me download an iTunes movie due to lack of space but I purchased more space and it still won't work
As stated above - purchasing more space in iCloud has nothing to do with this. You do not have enough space left on the iPad for the movie to download, you need to delete content on the device itself.
You may want to transfer purchases to iTunes and then delete some content on the device to make room.

Since updating last time Firefox will not open new tabs unless I right click on a link. It won't open them via file or the tab at the top of the brwoser or usinf ctrl + t. Anyone know how to fix this?
I can press ctrl for a new tab but otherwise a new tab does not open. I actually need help regarding this new Synch which apparently will be in Firefox automatically in an upcoming version so I am asking how that will synch with people who use LastPass-of course because I use this very successfully and really am not eager to change the set up that I have in place at this time.
I have read through endless FAQ trying to find anyone else who has this question or concern but have found nothing. Can you please tell me how that service will get along with LastPass which does basically the same thing as Synch-it is probably spelled wrong as it looks wrong to me but if I click back to where this issue began, I will lose all of this question so please respond for the upcoming service synch. -
Hi my iphone 4 home screen keeps flashing on and off repeatdly. I will beonmy phone or in an app and it will go to a black screen and then light up to the home screen. Then the power off option will pop up. I have tried letting it die and recharging it and powering it off neither worked. Does any one have an idea on what this could be or what I can do?
If the Slide to Power Off option is coming up, that suggests your power button isn't working correctly and is sticking.
Best thing to do is bring the phone to an Apple store (make an appointment first) and have a Genius take a look at it.

Are you putting in the address where the bank sends the monthly statement?
Apple's servers are very picky about the format of the address. If you live in the USA, then the server is expecting the style that the US Postal Service uses. One way to do this is to use the USPS ZIP Code lookup service;

Enter the address to look up the ZIP code and then copy the exact USPS output into your iTunes account information. -
I just purchased an iMac for home and went to install final cut studio 2 and it gave me an error saying something about "PowerPC" not used or something like that. Installed the studio upgrade just fine...but it has no "Live Type" which I need to work on projects I have been using in my Mac Pro at my work place. How do I get "Live Type" to install in this iMac? Downloaded Live Type upgrade but that won't update cause there's no "Live Type" in the applications.
It sounds like you have Lion installed on your new imac, although your profile says SL 10.6.8 (you may want to change this.)
If you have the Snow Leopard install disc I believe you can install "Rosetta" from the extras folder which will then, if you have the original FCS2 discs , allow you to select and install Live Type and LIve Type content only from the custom install options.

I recently changed my Apple ID online, but I can't find a way to change it on my iPod touch. When I try to purchse an app, the iTouch keeps showing my old ID. However, when I purchase an app online with the new ID, it downloads to my iPod. What do I do to change the ID on the iPod itself?
Have you went to Settings>Store and sign out and sign back in?

Keynote Presentations will not open after update. I click on them and they just won't open!
I created a huge presentations but NOTHING WILL OPEN. Same for Pages and Numbers. Running on iPad Mini 1st Gen - 7.0.4
The very first thing you should try is a simple reset. Hold down on the sleep button and the home button at the same time for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears on the screen, let go of the buttons and let the iPad restart.
If you haven't restarted your iPad in a while this can really help.
If this doesn't help, then you can try removing the problem apps and reinstalling them.
Retired Engineer makes a good point. It would be a good idea to update your software. -
Hi, I have an iPad Air. Had downloaded pages app that got deleted by mistake. Now am unable to down load it again. App Store says "you have already purchased this app so it will be downloaded now at no additional charges" but it does not download!!! Pls suggest and help!

firefox disabled my version of java, i went to the free download site to get the newest version, clicked on download then doubled click on it in the download list, this should have started the intallation but instead i got a message saying i needed an application to open the link and wanted me to choose an app. Install box did not come up as it has with other downloads. I do not want to open it i want to install it.
