Layer preview pixelated, comp preview is fine, why?

Suddenly my layer previews do not resample when I scale, they look ugly and very pixelated. The complete comp OTOH looks fine. I must have inadvertently touched a button or changed a setting, I did not have this before.. Any ideas?

The Comp view has this ability to change the resolution setting. The Layer view does not have it. Toady is a new day, when I fired up my PC and then After Effects, the phenomenon has vanished. Now all looks fine again..

can't figure out why the gif file won't loop. Set up 5 photo frames 480x320pixels x 72pix/in in PE11, creating a layer for each. Each layer visible. Saved for web. Checked animate. The preview plays fine. But when I save the file and then click on the saved file to play, it re-opens the layers instead of playing the loop. The only SAVE option that shows up is "IMAGES ONLY"
Using photoshop elements 11 on MAC 10.6.8. Either I'm setting this up wrong or is there a hidden setting I need to change?

Thanks for the thought, Barbara B. Not sure if this counts, but emailed the file to myself [different email account, same computer] but it would not play as an email attachment. Any suggestions for a web upload where I can test your suggestion? Seems like there should be a different save option other than IMAGES ONLY but that is the only option I'm given.

Folio preview works fine everywhere but....

I have a page with a MSO. No matter where I proof it. Via my desktop via tools or via folio builder the MSO layout works as intended.
But not when I preview on my iPad via Adobe Content Viewer. (last version and now the new version)
I have deleted from Folio builder and reimported, scaled down the MSO and tried a new apporach, renamed file and reuploaded but still won't work as intended on iPad only. All other previews work just fine.
Any ideas how to fix this? What might be causing the hang up?

It worked at one point. It is auto play thru the states. Stop at last state. last state is the prior states all combined.
I just created 3 seperate .jps of the orginal Indesign document with each MSO (1 .jpg for each different MSO state and placed each one of the .jps into the Indesign doc. and made all 3 into a MSO gain.
I then uploaded via Folio builder. That Previewed just fine on the iPad Adobe Content Viewer. Worked as planned
my problem is when I built the orginal layout in InDesign using text and image boxes etc. and not exporting the whole layout as a .jpg.
That folio will Preview just fine on my Mac using all the Preview functions built into the InDesign program and folio builder. The 3 state MSO would not work once on the iPad.
This work around makes it work on the iPad but I'll have to export as a .png so the text in the document will not be so rough around the edges. Still wondering why it happened and how to fix.

How do I change them back and how do I keep this from happening again. I don't want to have to select a different format every time I try to open a document. That is a pain in the neck. I want to "click to open" and the document be in it's original format. If necessary I will go back to one of the other browsers I have used in the past. As I don't want multiple browsers on my computer it would be necessary to uninstall Firefox. I like it so far other than you all hijacking my documents and altering the way they open. You also might want to remember that even the "legitimate" folks on the internet are seen as predatory, i.e., gathering information, tricking us into installing crap we don't want or need, and in some cases, requiring a specific program to open a specific document. I'd be working very hard to show you are trustworthy. If you have a solution to this and it is complex then you will be wasting your time and my time trying to explain it. You guys created this so, if I'm going to use Firefox, you fix it on your end. FYI, if I have to uninstall Firefox I will, when asked, strongly recommend against using your service. Thank you.

Do you mean PDF documents?
The installer was supposed to add Firefox as an ADDITIONAL viewer for PDFs, not as the DEFAULT viewer. Sorry you were affected by this glitch and hopefully they will figure out why some systems get changed this way.
You can try this fix suggested by a user in another thread:

# Near the bottom of the page click the button marked 'Select Default PDF Handler'

Try a reset. Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 seconds until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the red slider.

Hide layer preview thumbnails in .ai 18.1.0?

I cannot hide layer preview thumbnails in illustrator 18.1.0 anymore (in layerpanel options). Since it slows things massively down I would be glad to have a workaround. Does anybody know?

I'm having an issue where the preview works fine when tabbing through a form, but when I save it as a pdf it skips a radio group altogether or tabs to the 2nd option in the radio groups? Any ideas how to fix this?

Ok no one has been able to help me so far this is it. I NEVER had these problems with photoshop CS6 extended edition!
The best i can do to describe the dissappearing filters( from iteratrions of Photoshop CC for the last year to now) and pattern overlays were called marble, stones and concretes. where can aI find a list of pattern overlays?

Possibly the drive is full
Possibly the permissions are not set to WRITE permission
Possibly there has been a "user mistake" and you think you are copying to a drive you have been using for over a year but something has accidentally changed and you're copying to a different location

Why are my images grainy/pixalated in full screen preview but fine in the organiser

Using Elements 10 on a laptop. Images are fine when editing and viewing in organiser. However, when i view them full screen they seem pixalated or grainy ....

Sorry ... doesn't seem to have any effect. Its set to full screen anyway so it fits to screen,we're not zooming in any further.
Is there any way to get help directly from Adobe on such matters?

Preview is fine, upload is not

I am new to Flash ( I am using Flash 8 Pro for Macintosh),
and I have gone through the process of teaching myself to create a
small photo gallery by creating thumbnails that are buttons and
assigning each a small movie (basically a way of displaying a
larger jpg that fades in and stays until next button is pressed)
using the loadMovie action to load each swf file and assign it to
each button. The gallery works perfectly, it is not to big, it
works when I test movie and when I preview publish in flash, and
HTML. However, when I upload the swf file that is created (it also
works fine on its own) to my hosting company, only the thumbnails
appear, and the buttons do not work. Is anyone able to tell me why?
At first I thought that maybe the movie that gets loaded when
the button is pressed was somehow seprate from the rest and that is
why it doesn't show up, but why wouldn't it if it is contained in
the swf file and previews correctly? Please help. I am so
frustrated to have taught myself how to do this in a day and a
half, and now I can't get the thing uploaded. Thanks so
much...

I could not locate those files on your website in the known

You should probably either move the gallerytestlargeredo.swf
to the root directory of your site and change the id9.html to point

it, and upload the other swf files there too, or the other
way is to upload those other swf files to the same place where
gallerytestlargeredo.swf is located and fix all the button
links inside gallerytestredo.swf like this..

"preview" is fine, but it doesn't "burn" that way

I created an iDVD project from stuff put together in iMovie. (about 25 minutes) I burned about 20 copies just fine. Now, however, newly burned dvd copies are missing lots of stuff but the raw video from the camera - no title page, no music, no photos, etc. Genius bar took a quick look, thought they had something - but no. Although "preview" mode looks perfect, it still lacks the full content like I described. It's like an early version is being burned, not the completed project - even though in "preview" it is the completed version.

Thanks for the responses. Yes, by "preview" I'm refering to being in the iDVD project and clicking the "preview" arrow. The title page and "play" button are then functional and I can start viewing the movie by clicking the actual "play" button that has been added to the title page. - which plays the way I indend. While in that same project, however, if a dvd is burned it does not burn the completed project. The quality is fine, it's that much of the added content was not included in the burned version. All of this after already having burned 20-25 copies perfectly days before.
As far as your advice to save as a disk image, I'm unclear as to what that means because "disk image" isn't a choice when "saving as." I do sort of think it must have to do with "saving" and that the project may not have been saved correctly (or at all) after the project was completed and the first discs were burned. I'm still puzzled, though, why it would "preview" Ok if that were the case.
