Layer view on the right hand !!!

Hello I'm new user for photoshop and i'm learning, i cant find the layer in the bar on the left i can just see adjustment and mask where i can change the view of it and get the layer option back?

Choose Windows - Layers from the main menus to see the LAYERS panel.
If you want everything back the way it was when Photoshop was first installed, click the ESSENTIALS button at the upper right, and optionally go into the Window - Workspace submenu and choose Reset Essentials.

But if I move that clip to the actually project area it won't play in the right hand side! I somehow must have clicked something that now won't play the project videos and now plays the clips below instead! Help please I need to fix this! Everythign else works, I can still edit videos, add transitions, music, etc I just can't see it on the right hand side- so I can't edit because I can't see

What's the deal with the annoying new menu in CS3 on the right hand side taking up unnecessary space on my screen? how do I get rid of it? All I want is my layer and history pallette. All the rest I want to hide. And if I want to remove the tool bar, how do I do this? it doesn't have a close box anymore? Also every time I open a file now, it opens up with the black background as default. How do I go back to the old way where it just opens a window?

Click the very top part of each pallet and this minimizes everything in that pallet to the side. If you want to close the pallet altogether, be sure it is open and then click the "x" in the top right of that pallet.

I'm guessing you need to hit the "F"key a few times (if this fixes it then it really isn't the "background" color that has changed). Otherwise you can change it here when opening a new file:

Double click on the left arrow on the tab bar creates a New Tab at the right hand end.

With Firefox 29.0.1 double clicking on either the left or right hand arrows in the tab bar creates a new tab at the right hand end of the tab bar. This is annoying behaviour that violates standards around UI design single click and double click. A double click should extend the behaviour of the single click rather than doing something completely different (opening a new tab). An example would be , in Word a single click selects a word, a double click selects the sentence and a triple click selects the paragraph. Note that this is a separate issue from double clicking on the tab bar itself to create a new tab.
When there are more tabs on the tab bar than will fit in the viewport the tabs scroll sideways so show the tab in use. I can click the left and right arrows at the ends of the tab bar to scroll the bar in that direction to bring a tab that I want to select into view. I believe that double clicking the left arrow would scroll the bar fully right, exposing the left-most tab. Double clicking the right arrow would scroll the bar fully left exposing the right-most tab.
This is a logical and expected extension of the behaviour of the single click. Single click - scroll once (seems to be about three tab's worth), double click - scroll all the way.
At the moment, if I want to scroll to the left-most tab I have to click the arrow slowly and carefully until I reach it. I used to single click rapidly on the left arrow until the tabs stopped scrolling without having to count how many clicks. It's possible that my rapid single clicks were actually double clicks. Nevertheless, the tab bar would stop scrolling when it reached the end.
Now the behaviour is really annoying and unexpected. A double click on the left arrow scrolls the tabs fully right and then fully left and creates a New Tab at the right hand end. Ditto the right hand arrow in the opposite direction.
While I can (maybe) see that value of a double click on the tab bar itself creating a new tab, double clicking one of the scroll arrows should not produce a new tab.
Double clicks on the tab arrows should scroll the tab bar fully to that end. If the tab bar is already fully scrolled to that end then additional clicks (single, double and triple...) should be ignored.
I like the idea of opening a new tab to the right of the one that currently has focus. This should be a right click context menu option.

That shouldn't happen if you click the scroll buttons on the tab bar.
A double-click should act as page up/down and move a full screen and a triple-click should move to the far left (first tab) or the far right (last) tab.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

Reboot your computer. In iTunes go to View menu. Does it say Hide Sidebar? If it does look the iPhone in the left sidebar in iTunes.
If it says Show Sidebar and you still don't see the iPhone on the upper right try choosing Show Sidebar and look on the left.

Is that elements 7 or photoshop 7? It can make a difference.
What you can do is create a new document that is the size of the paper, then place your document in the new document. You can now align your document to the right side of the page.
Now print.
Borders can have two meanings here. You can add a border to an image such as a stroke for example. The other meaning is the printer has a non-printing area called a border.
In the former there is nothing to do as long as you did not add one. In the latter some printers do have a print to edge option, but it has to be a feature of that printer. It would be located in the print options. If the printer does not have such a feature, there is nothing you can do, short of manually cutting the paper with a paper cutter, scissors, or x-acto knife.

My wifi network connection is not working, will read "unable to join". Am able to access as a guest. When I hit the blue arrow on the right hand side of my network there is no information e.g ip address, subnet mask, etc. This info is in my guest area.

Desktop appearance problem: For no apparent reason my Mac running OSX 10.4.11 imposed a mesh-like pattern over the folders on my desktop and also across the top of the screen and down the right-hand side where I have the dock. How do I remove it?

For no apparent reason my Mac (2 GHz PowerPC G5) running 10.4.11 has put a mesh-like pattern over the folders on my desktop and also a band of the same pattern across the top of the screen and down the right-hand side over the dock. (See screen grabs below.)
It doesn't affect any operations but makes folder names and drop-down menus difficult to read through the pattern.
I'm not aware of changing any settings so suspect I must have clicked on something without noticing. How do I get rid of the overlaid pattern, please?
