Sorry, but I find Corey Barker speaks much, much too fast to follow adequately.  Also, why are we looking at his face?  At one point he is saying "if you go to the preferences...", etc, but it is never clear where he means as the camera is on him instead of the screen.

  • Using the new Crop tool | Learn Photoshop CS6 | Adobe TV

Cropping is one of the most common operations in Photoshop. So it's only fitting that the Crop tool has experienced a quantum leap in CS6. In this movie, watch how to preview the angle of your image to confirm that your crop is plumb. You can revisit a crop any time you like, so you never waste effort. And by default, the Crop tool hides pixels instead of permanently deleting them.

I just installed the new PhotoShop CS6 on my iMac - I am used to it on Windows PC.  Now, when I crop, it does not resize the image to my 640x320 px (it keeps the original size)

I do not like this unit. Selecting "like" was an error.
The presentation is not clear about just what the 'selection' is being used for.

Julie, Great video!  The video exploring layers basics, around time code 6:00 you were showing different ways of unlocking and editing the background layer.  Please let me add, you forgot one method that I use all the time.  You can drag the locked background layer to the new layers icon and it will automatically make a new copy.  Only difference is it makes a duplicate so now, there is one locked and one unlocked.

  • Creating User-Generated Workspaces | Learn Photoshop CS6 | Adobe TV

Adobe Photoshop boasts tons of panels and features… But do you really need them all open at the same time? Let Infinite Skills author, Andy Anderson show you how to create workspaces that reduce the clutter, and help you get the job done.
    http://adobe.ly/NsCw2s

A big flaw in CS6 workspace interface is the inability to overwrite an existing workspace. In previous versions a user could save, using the same name and the program would ask if you'd like to overwrite the workspace. This no longer works. How does one update an existing workspace? It is tedious to create a new one and delete the old one. I just want to overwrite a named workspace.

    salflyfish,
Because Photoshop is an Adobe product you should be asking on an Adobe product forum or calling Adobe for assistance. Also your profile isn't complete but it does indicate you own a Mac Pro, this is an Intel based iMac forum. If you do have a Mac Pro please re-consider posting there. To complete your profile please click Profile Update, by doing so this helps the volunteers know basics about your system such as which version of OS X is installed, the exact model you own, the amount of installed RAM etc.... Without that information diagnosing an issue is much more difficult.

    warlock7,
I tested this out in Dreamweaver CS6, but in all cases the drag-and-drop was functioning properly.
If you create a new document using one of the included layouts (e.g. 3-column liquid) and insert an image in it, are you able to drag it around?
