Layers locked and uneditable

I created a Muse site, saved it, and when I reopened it all of the elements were locked and uneditable.

Hi. I’ve tried and it doesn’t actually do anything. It still indicates that everything is locked.

Layers Locked Inadvertantly

Hello Everyone
I am making a montage for my son's 40th birthday showing small pictures of him and our family over the years fro very early-age to the present time.
I had about 30 pictures already arranged when I must have done something quite stupid, as ALL the layers disappeared and the Background Locked layer is the only one left!
Must I begin again, or is there a way of getting my layers back please?

Thank you again Ed. My mouse has a double-click button which I obviously pressed, but what the mouse-pointer was resting on at the time, who knows? It was something at the bottom of the Layers-Palette because from having all my layers labelled with picture-descriptions, I simply wound up with the 'locked' background layer,and no way back, at least not what I could think of. Very frustrating!
Also I very rarely use keyboard shortcuts.

Background Layers Locked on all Images

All of my images are coming up with background layers locked. This was not a conscious setting on my part. How do I unlock them?

You should be able to use the Clone Stamp Tool even on a locked background layer.
You're either doing something wrong you're not telling us, or you need to trash your Photoshop preferences.
To re-create the preferences files for Photoshop, start the application while holding down Command+Option+Shift (Mac OS). Then, click Yes to the message, "Delete the Adobe Photoshop Settings file?"
Next time, please give details on your version of Photoshop and the OS. Also "use of the clone stamp tool will not change anything" is not nearly descriptive enough for us to figure out what you're doing or what is happening.

Database Locks: The database system automatically sets database locks when it receives change statements (INSERT, UPDATE, MODIFY, DELETE) from a program. Database locks are physical locks on the database entries affected by these statements. You can only set a lock for an existing database entry, since the lock mechanism uses a lock flag in the entry. These flags are automatically deleted in each database commit. This means that database locks can never be set for longer than a single database LUW; in other words, a single dialog step in an R/3 application program.
Physical locks in the database system are therefore insufficient for the requirements of an R/3 transaction. Locks in the R/3 System must remain set for the duration of a whole SAP LUW, that is, over several dialog steps. They must also be capable of being handled by different work processes and even different application servers. Consequently, each lock must apply on all servers in that R/3 System.
SAP Locks:
To complement the SAP LUW concept, in which bundled database changes are made in a single database LUW, the R/3 System also contains a lock mechanism, fully independent of database locks, that allows you to set a lock that spans several dialog steps. These locks are known as SAP locks.
The SAP lock concept is based on lock objects. Lock objects allow you to set an SAP lock for an entire application object. An application object consists of one or more entries in a database table, or entries from more than one database table that are linked using foreign key relationships.
Before you can set an SAP lock in an ABAP program, you must first create a lock object in the ABAP Dictionary.

Image locked and can't be deleted

I just took over updating my company's website. On one page, there's an image that is locked and I can't figure out how to unlock it so I can delete it. Can someone help me?

Without seeing the file we can only guess. With that in mind it sounds like you have a page based off of a template. You can determine this by looking at the source code where you will see comments for editable regions. The best thing you can do in this case is find the original template. If you cannot find the original template your only option will be to detach the page from the template by clicking on Modify->Templates->Detach from Template.

Check boxes that turn layers on and off

hay all
im fairly new to this part of adobe but i have a good understanding
what i need i to be able to have check boxes that turn layers on and off when the tick is shown and when it is not
i know this is possible through scripting but i dont have the ability as of yet to carry out the scripting
is someone able to write a basic script for me or help me to understand what i need
i want the script to be for when a check box is clicked (mouse up) that a layer that was oringaly turned off to be turned on (electricalplan)
once the tick is removed i need the layer to turn off again
i need to do this for mulitple layers (about 10)
so i would just use the same script for each replacing the name with the correct name.
i also need the check boxes to work together so that i can have multiple turned on at the one time (electricalplan) (sewerplan) (waterplan)

I have added/embedded four videos on my website, but when I scroll down, the videos scroll in front of the top menu instead of behind as it should. I have tried changing layers, etc., and nothing works. Can you help?

Hi,
Kindly create a new layer, via the Layers panel:
Then, right click on the navigation bar, and choose Move to Layer > Layer 2
Ensure that Layer 2 is on top of the other layers.

It sounds like even though the Mute switch is not on, sounds are not making the, well, sound they should, and the volume buttons make a blank volume indicator appear on the screen that does not show the volume level.
I wanted to recommend a couple of things.
First, I would reset the phone:
Resetting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

If that does not resolve the issue, then you may want to try backing up to iTunes, and restoring the iPhone again but this time do not restore the backup and set it up as new to see if the issue persists without the previous configuration.

My iPad is locked and says that it needs to be backed up. My home is wi-fi hotspot, so the iPad is constantly connected. I am having problems getting to merely turn-off. Was there a software change recently?

Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Why am I being told that a JPEG file that I made changes to in Photoshop 6 (CS6) can't be saved? The message I get says that either the file is locked and I don't have permission to execute this or another program is using this file.

i recently purchased a 21.5 iMac with Yosemite (10.10.1) and was disappointed to discover that my CS6 programs are not functioning correctly. I am unable to use the "Save As" command when making changes to a JPEG file in Photoshop. Lastly, I'm unable to open any Camera Raw files. Any suggestions? I had no problems with the Mavericks OS on my old iMac and although it's much slower, I'm tempted to go back to using my old iMac. At this point, I feel as if I've just wasted $2300+ (tax included).

Back up all data before proceeding.
This procedure will unlock all your user files (not system files) and reset their ownership, permissions, and access controls to the default. If you've intentionally set special values for those attributes on any of your files, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary. Do so only after verifying that those settings didn't cause the problem. If none of this is meaningful to you, you don't need to worry about it, but you do need to follow the instructions below.
Step 1
If you have more than one user, and the one in question is not an administrator, then go to Step 2.

Step 2 (optional)
Take this step only if you have trouble with Step 1, if you prefer not to take it, or if it doesn't solve the problem.
Start up in Recovery mode. When the OS X Utilities screen appears, select
Utilities ▹ Terminal
from the menu bar. A Terminal window will open. In that window, type this:

Press the tab key. The partial command you typed will automatically be completed to this:

Press return. A Reset Password window will open. You’re not going to reset a password.
Select your startup volume ("Macintosh HD," unless you gave it a different name) if not already selected.

Under Reset Home Directory Permissions and ACLs, click the Reset button.

Suspend Dunning lock and dunning procedures

Event 0303 has this description: The function module called up at Event 0303 provides the option of executing further checks for an open item, which may mean suspending dunning or changing the dunning procedure.
Tried to use it but it did not work. I saw the program lSAP is checking first if a contract account has a dunning lock. If there is, it generates an the message and no longer executes the remaining part of the FORM..ENDFORM and therefore doesn't call event 0303.
If a contract account has an active dunning lock reason, is there a way to trigger dunning or suspend it?

Sorry for the confusion. I was actually looking for a way to override/bypass dunning lock.
Example: dunning should run on the account depending on status of the account and dunning lock.
Event 301 does the initial check if the account has a dunning lock and if it has, it stops dunning process on the account. Was wondering if there is a way to override this.

I have an ipad mini that has an iCloud back up window open that "says "this ipad hasn't been backed up in 4 weeks. BAckups happen when this ipad is plugged in, locked, and connected to wi-fi. When i press on OK, it doesn't respond. it's locked....

I recently purchased an I-Pad mini. It has an error message that states, 'this ipad hasn't been backed up in 4 weeks. Backups happen when this ipad is plugged in, locked and connected to Wi-Fi. When i press on OK, nothing happens. The ipad is locked and i can only access SIRI, so i asked SIRI to open settings and i can see my Wi=-FI, but can't see if it's actually connected. I locked it, plugged it in, and hoped that it would fix itself.
i don't know how to get rid of the error message and the ipad mini won't respond to anything except SIRI....
