Layout changed when copy and modify standard pz09 service

Hi,
We  have copied the standard PZ09 ITS service (HTML Template, TCode, program) to custom program. Done some changes in custom program and published the service to ITS. But when we test the custom service the the layout looks entirely different. how to get the standard PZ09 layout in custom service. we haven't done any change in html template.
Thanks & Regards,
Bala

Hello Bala,
Does your original PZ09 service have templates?  You will need those templates (and mimes) to have the same look and feel.  Therefore if your custom service is called ZPZ09 then your system should have a zpz09 directory of templates.  If not then that is the problem, you haven't copied (or published) the PZ09 templates.

  • Font changes when copy and paste url (Safari to Mail)

When copy from iphone 5 (vs 7.1.2-& no I don't want to update yet ) Safari, a URL/web address and paste into MAIL app, the font changes and won't paste in the same format as the email I've been typing. Is there any way to correct this? Also, anything I type after the paste keeps that same "other" format, when I want what I had started email in to stay the same.
I tho't I"d look at some settings and under iphone Accessibiilty I have Larger Text ON and Bold Text chosen, and Reduce Motion ON. Under GENERAL and TEXT SIZE I have it set to 4th choice up. I don't see any MAIL settings re FONT. Would any of these be the cause?

OK, I think I found another way to describe my issue:
When I copy text from a webpage in Safari, some form of "meta-information", or formatting data, is kept, and when I paste into MS Word, the formatting from the webpage is retained. In my default setup of Firefox, this formatting meta-information is not retained, it only copies the plain-text.
So my question is actualy: How do I prevent Safari from retaining formatting data, and only copy the plain-text?
I have been testing some clipboard managers, and have yet to find one that will auto-filter out formatting data from text that I copy, but they can after interaction.
The other, current, method I have been using is to:
    1. select and copy the text in Safari
    2. paste text into notepad
    3. select and copy text from notepad
    4. paste de-formatted text into MS Word
    Or in Firefox:
    1. select and copy the text in Firefox
    2. paste text into MS Word (no formatting retained)

  • Why are my colors changing when copy and paste a graphic from docA to docB both in illustrator?

Both documents in Illustrator CC are RGB and I'm trying to copy a logo onto a template, but the color of the logo completely changes when I copy and paste it into the template. The logo has three different pinks and they turn red when pasted. There is no graphic styling and the logo is all gradient.

What is weird is that we get a lot of logos from the same company and we put it on shirt templates so they can see size wise on how it would look on shirts. It's happened with other logos, but very slightly. I asked my co-worker who sends me the logos what version she uses and she also uses CC but does not know what version the other company uses. To them, it doesn't matter if the logo colors get altered, they have the PMS colors to work off of for screen printing. I just want to make sure that if another company sends us logos with PMS colors, we will know how to fix it.

  • Black page when copying and scanning

    Hi,
I have a HP Laserjet 1536dnf MFP, all was working fine until I changed the ink cartridge two days ago.  Printing is fine but when I go to copy or scan I get a solid black page printed.  I've checked the light goes across when copying and scanning, tried switching off printer and on again, plugged it straight in to wall and updated all HP software.  Any ideas?
    Many thanks
    Dani

    Hi @Dani77 ,
I see by your post that you are getting a black page when copying and scanning from the printer. You can print fine and you updated the HP software, the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet and you have the same results.
I would really like to be able to help you resolve this issue.
I wasn't sure whether you just updated the printer software on the printer or the firmware.
If you haven't already, please update the printer's firmware. HP LaserJet Pro M1536dnf Multifunction Printer Drivers.
Disconnect the USB or Ethernet cable from the printer.
Make sure the printer is still connected directly to a 3 prong wall outlet.
Try making a copy with a blank sheet.
If the output is blank, then try and copy a text document.
I will send you another step to try in a private message.
In the forum beside your handle name just click on the envelope to view it.
How is the printer connected? (USB/Ethernet)
Please let me know the outcome.
    Have a nice day!
    Thank You.

  • Premiere Pro CC(2014) crashing when copying and pasting clips

Has anyone found Premiere to hang when copy and pasting clips from one sequence to another, or even within the same sequence.
Sometimes, it hangs then comes back to life.  Other time I just have to force quit.
    Thanks

I don't recall reports of such a problem. We'll need more info to attempt to troubleshoot the issue. Start with the prompts on this page: FAQ: What information should I provide when asking a question on this forum? Especially the details on your computer.
    Also, please report the following:
the types of content in your sequence, particularly in segments you're pasting. The source(s) of the content, the codec(s), the duration of copied segments?
    where the content is stored?
whether either sequence was imported from a third-party program via XML or the like?
the sequence settings of both sequences?
what effects & transitions are in use, particularly in the segments you're pasting?
what is resource usage before and during the copy/paste operation? Is a CPU getting pegged? Does memory usage spike precipitously?

  • Gradient and text, changes when copied

Hi, this is a CS3 document, exported in IDML for CS4.
The price has no transparency, no other effects.
When copied, the value stays the same but the visual changes. Any ideas?
This thing happen in CS5 also but not in CS3.
    Thanks
EDIT: if i change the first to -89 and then to -90, doesn't work. If i copy the third (that is now visually correct), the gradient stay normal.

It looks like InDesign has repositioned the gradient within the text. Think of a gradient without the text masking it, as a rectangle that fades from yellow to green. With the Gradient tool you can click and drag to define the angle and size of that rectangle. The text then masks the rectangle so only the part within the text shows. I think InDesign did not reposition the text and the gradient properly when you pasted. You can highlight the text, then switch to the Gradient tool and drag to reposition the gradient. Unfortunately there is no way to make this part of a character style or paragraph style.

  • Photos change order when copy and pasting a collection

I am using Photoshop elements 4. I am trying to copy a collection to a flash drive. They all copy but out of order. Can anyone tell me how to maintain the order when I paste?

    Hi Steve,
I'm using office 2013(32 bit) with windows 8(64 bit).
I tested this issue in my computer, copy and paste a single cell using the VBA code:
    Sheet1.Range("A1").CurrentRegion.Copy Sheet2.Range("A1")
    It takes about 0.04 seconds

    Hello I have a iMac with 3.4 GHZ intel core I7, memory 16 GB 1333 MHZ DDR3, and OS X 10.9.4 Software.
I have problems when I try to copy or modify any file from my MAC to MY PORTABLE DRIVE/DISQUE (external hard disk).
my external hard disk have the next features:
    brand: Seagate
    4TB
I do not know if I need some software such as: paragon or I need to configure my MAC,
    Please help me..
    Thanks a lot

Click on it, choose Get Info from the File menu, and check the format.
If it's formatted as NTFS, reformat it as MS-DOS, exFAT, or Mac OS Extended (Journaled) as desired, or install software such as Paragon NTFS on the computer.
If it's formatted as FAT32 or exFAT, use the Disk Utility's Repair Disk command on it; this may also happen for a flash drive which is about to fail.
If it's formatted as Mac OS Extended, click Authenticate and provide your administrator password, or change the permissions on that specific folder in its Get Info window.

  • Preserving styles when copying and pasting?

Howdy folks...still running CS3 on my system here...but just wanted to know what your take was...
In the magazine I work for, we've previously been generating PDFs for press one at a time (ie: take a 4 page InDesign file and generate 4 1-page PDFs), but we now have the system of just exporting entire files in bulk (4 page document, 1 4-page PDF). Since some of these articles are broken up by full page ads, I've also been inserting the ads into the pages.
Most of the time, the client sends us press ready PDFs, but occasionally they send us entire layouts with text that is not outlined. The problem is that is if I'm copying and pasting an entire layout from one document to another, there will be a conflict with styles, causing text to change.
Apart from converting all the fonts to outlines, is there a way to preserve the original styles on the document that I'm inserting?

Thanks...I tried placing the InDesign file and it seemed to work at first, but it introduced a whole load of potential problems when output to hi-res PDF such as slicing up rasterized images and rearranging them (there was transparency involved), but in the end, the safest option will have to be to output the indesign file to high-res PDF first.
But I still have the concern of doing the whole copy-of-a-copy thing (ie: the more steps you add to the workflow, the greater the loss of quality), which is why I was hoping leave working files as untouched as possible before output. Is this something I should look out for?

  • Copy and Modify the BPEL Process

Does anyone know a good way of copying a BPEL process and modifying it? For example, copy the BPEL_ProcessA and rename it to BPEL_ProcessB and then customizing the BPEL_ProcessB.

    Hmm, not enough Clemens.
    Easiest way to copy:
    1. make new BPEL project with the desired name
    2. close JDeveloper
    3. delete all files from the new directory
    4. copy source files to new directory (without <output.dir> and <CVS.dir>)
    5. Search & Replace all files for <Process_A> and replace with <Process_B>
This includes: .BPEL, .XML (especially with Usertask), .XSL (has references to proces_a)6. Rename all files that have <Process_A> in them:
    a. when using transforms: rename the xsl
    b. when using usertask: rename the taskConfig<ProcessA>.xml, taskConfig<ProcessA>WFFields.xml
Changing the internal references to <ProcessA> can be done with a tool like Search & Replace.

  • 'Finder wants to make changes' when copying files between two Macs

    Hey all,
I've read a few versions of this problem on the forums here but haven't tracked down a solution.
I have two Macs on the same network – I recently got a second-hand Mac Pro, and my Macbook Air. The computers are both on the network and can browse their respective folders and the like, but when I go to copy or sync files between the computers, I get a file permission issue.
Finder on either computer prompts: 'Finder wants to make changes. Enter your password'. At the same time a corrupted version of the file copies to the other computer but with 0 bytes that doesn't open...
Has anyone solved this issue before – it'd be greatly appreciated to hear any approaches!

On the laptop I got 513
Back up all data. Don't continue unless you're sure you can restore from a backup, even if you're unable to log in.
This procedure will unlock all your user files (not system files) and reset their ownership and access-control lists to the default. If you've set special values for those attributes on any of your files, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary. Do so only after verifying that those settings didn't cause the problem. If none of this is meaningful to you, you don't need to worry about it.
    Step 1
If you have more than one user account, and the one in question is not an administrator account, then temporarily promote it to administrator status in the Users & Groups preference pane. To do that, unlock the preference pane using the credentials of an administrator, check the box marked Allow user to administer this computer, then reboot. You can demote the problem account back to standard status when this step has been completed.
Enter the following command in the Terminal window in the same way as before (triple-click, copy, and paste):
    { sudo chflags -R nouchg,nouappnd ~ $TMPDIR.. ; sudo chown -R $UID:staff ~ $_ ; sudo chmod -R u+rwX ~ $_ ; chmod -R -N ~ $_ ; } 2> /dev/null
This time you'll be prompted for your login password, which won't be displayed when you type it. You may get a one-time warning to be careful. If you don’t have a login password, you’ll need to set one before you can run the command. If you see a message that your username "is not in the sudoers file," then you're not logged in as an administrator.
The command will take a noticeable amount of time to run. Wait for a new line ending in a dollar sign (“$”) to appear, then quit Terminal.
    Step 2 (optional)
Take this step only if you have trouble with Step 1 or if it doesn't solve the problem.
Boot into Recovery. When the OS X Utilities screen appears, select
    Utilities ▹ Terminal
from the menu bar. A Terminal window will open.
In the Terminal window, type this:
    res
Press the tab key. The partial command you typed will automatically be completed to this:
    resetpassword
Press return. A Reset Password window will open. You’re not  going to reset a password.
Select your boot volume ("Macintosh HD," unless you gave it a different name) if not already selected.
Select your username from the menu labeled Select the user account if not already selected.
Under Reset Home Directory Permissions and ACLs, click the Reset button.
    Select
     ▹ Restart
    from the menu bar.

    1) Padding is only placed on the top and/or bottom of the divs. The elements within these divs have padding on their sides. This saves you from any "box model math". Keep in mind, if you add any side padding or border to the div itself, it will be added to the width you define to create the *total* width. You may also choose to remove the padding on the element in the div and place a second div within it with no width and the padding necessary for your design.
    2) No margin has been given to the columns since they are all floated. If you must add margin, avoid placing it on the side you're floating toward (for example: a right margin on a div set to float right). Many times, padding can be used instead. For divs where this rule must be broken, you should add a "display:inline" declaration to the div's rule to tame a bug where some versions of Internet Explorer double the margin.
    3) Since classes can be used multiple times in a document (and an element can also have multiple classes applied), the columns have been assigned class names instead of IDs. For example, two sidebar divs could be stacked if necessary. These can very easily be changed to IDs if that's your preference, as long as you'll only be using them once per document.
    4) If you prefer your nav on the right instead of the left, simply float these columns the opposite direction (all right instead of all left) and they'll render in reverse order. There's no need to move the divs around in the HTML source.

Loss of <em>habitat</em> and <em>extermination</em> programs led to the elimination of wolves throughout most of the United States by early in the 20th century. In 1973, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service listed the northern Rocky Mountain wolf  as an endangered species and designated Greater Yellowstone as one of three recovery areas. From 1995 to 1997, 41 wild wolves from Canada and northwest Montana were released in Yellowstone National Park. As expected, wolves from the growing population dispersed to establish territories outside the park. More than 1,600 wolves now reside in Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming. In August 2010, a U.S. district judge ruled against a <em>USFWS</em> 2009 decision to remove the wolf from the endangered species list, so wolves are protected as an endangered species in all three states again.<br />

    <h4>Bighorn Sheep<img src="BigHornSheep.gif" alt="bighorn sheep" width="150" height="115" hspace="15" vspace="15" align="left" /></h4>
<p> Bighorn sheep once numbered in the millions in western United States and were an important food source for humans. They are named for the large, curved horns on the males, or rams. Females, or ewes, also have horns, but they are short with only a slight curve. In the winter of 1981-82, an outbreak of pinkeye occurred among bighorns in the Mt. Everts area. Many sheep were blinded and/or killed on the adjacent park road or by falling from cliffs. Some are now found comfortable around summer road traffic.</p>
        <h4>Bison<img src="bison.gif" alt="bison" width="150" height="115" hspace="15" vspace="15" align="left" /></h4><p>
Bison are the largest mammals in Yellowstone National Park. They are strictly vegetarian, and they graze on grasslands in the meadows, the foothills, and even the high-elevation areas of Yellowstone. Despite their slow walk, bison are surprisingly fast for animals that weigh more than half a ton.</p>
<p>Yellowstone is the only place in the lower 48 states where a population of wild bison has survived since prehistoric times, although fewer than 50 native bison remained here in 1902. Fearing extinction, the park imported 21 bison from two privately-owned herds.</p>
        <h4>Bobcats<img src="yellowstone-bobcat.gif" alt="bobcat" width="150" height="115" hspace="15" vspace="15" align="left" /></h4><p>
Bobcats  are small wild cats with reddish-brown or yellowish-brown coats, streaked with black or dark brown. They have prominent, pointed ears with a tuft of black hair at the tip. </p>
<p>Unlike lynx, which they resemble, bobcats elsewhere have been highly adaptable to human-caused changes in environmental conditions; some biologists believe that there are more bobcats in the United States today than in colonial times. Yellowstone has many rock outcrops, canyons bordered by rock ledges, conifer forests, and semi-open areas that seem to offer conditions favorable for bobcats--adequate shelter, a variety of rodents, rabbits, hares, birds, and other small animals as well as seasonal carrion, for food.</p>
<p>Bobcats are known to hole-up and wait out severe winter storms elsewhere. These elusive cats are most active at night, so even those who study them seldom have an opportunity to see one.</p>
        <h4>Coyotes</h4>
        <p>
Yellowstone's coyotes  are among the largest coyotes in the United States. Adults are about 30 pounds, are less than two feet tall and vary in color from gray to tan with sometimes a reddish tint to its coat.</p>
<p>Small mammals are an important component of coyotes' diets. In Yellowstone, such prey include microtines or voles, mice , pocket gophers, small birds, and in spring and summer, ground squirrels. They also feed on larger mammal's (elk, deer, bison, moose, pronghorn, and bighorn sheep) calves and fawns shortly after birth and young animals.</p>
        <h4>Elk<img src="elk.gif" alt="elk" width="150" height="115" hspace="15" vspace="15" align="left" /></h4><p>
Elk  are the most abundant large mammal found in Yellowstone and historical evidence confirms their continuous presence for at least 1,000 years. More than 30,000 elk from 7-8 different herds summer in Yellowstone and approximately 15,000 to 22,000 winter in the park. </p>
<p>Bulls grow antlers annually from the time they are nearly one year old. When mature, a bull's &quot;rack&quot; may have 6 to 8 points, or tines, on each side and weigh more than 30 pounds.</p>
        <h4>Lynx</h4>
<p>Adult lynx are about the size of a large domestic cat. Males can weigh up to 30 pounds, while females are smaller. The similarity between lynx and bobcats makes it difficult to determine their status in Yellowstone. A large adult bobcat may be larger than a small adult lynx, so size is not a good characteristic for positive identification.</p>
        <h4>Moose<img src="moose.gif" alt="moose" width="150" height="115" hspace="15" vspace="15" align="left" /></h4><p>
Moose, the largest member of the deer family, were reportedly very rare in northwest Wyoming when Yellowstone National Park was established in 1872. Moose breed from early September to November and one to three calves are born in May or June. Calves weigh 25 to 35 pounds at birth but grow rapidly; adult females (cows) weigh up to 800 pounds and males (bulls) up to 1300 pounds. </p>
    <h4>Mountain Lion</h4><p>
The mountain lion, also called the cougar, is the largest member of the cat family living in Yellowstone. Mountain lions can weigh up to 200 pounds, although lions in Yellowstone are thought to range between 140 and 160 pounds for males and around 100 pounds for females.</p>
<p>Mountain lions are rather secretive, so most visitors are unaware of their existence in Yellowstone. Lions probably live throughout the park in summer. </p>
        <h4>      Amphibians</h4>
        <p>
Cool, dry conditions limit Yellowstone's amphibians to four species: boreal toad; chorus frog; spotted frog; and the tiger salamander. Population numbers for these  are not known.</p>

This has happened before, where everything in my content area has dropped down below the sidebar. It's happended on several pages. I don't know why or how to fix it. It's for a class, so where I've posted it is private, but here's the page and css code.
    HTML

Murray is right. Padding (and margins) is added to the width. However, when using percentages, you should never use figures that add up to exactly 100%.
Browsers need to convert the percentages to pixels. Because pixels must be whole numbers, some percentages are rounded up, which results in the final element dropping down below its neighbours. With percentages, it's much safer to use values that add up to 98% (99% often works, but 98% is safer).

  • How do you keep strokes, etc, from changing when copying & pasting?

I am sure there is a simple solution to this problem, but I cannot figure it out and could use some help.  I have a graphic in one InDesign document (ID CS4 - using Windows XP Pro) and when I try to copy and paste it into another ID doc, it completely changes the strokes and fills.  It usually does the opposite of what is in the graphic (this happens with every graphic I try this with).  So if I have a circle that is stroke only, when I copy and paste it, it comes in with no stroke and a fill.  I have to use these graphics between documents frequently and some of them are complicated, making it difficult to spend the time correcting this problem.  When I tried adding the graphic to a library, it did the same thing.  It also changed it when I moved one page to another document.  Anyone have any ideas why this might be happening and how to make it stop?
    Thanks,
    GS

Thanks for the reply.  While it wasn't the preferences, I did find a link on the link you included in your answer that led me to the solution.
The problem was conflicting object styles.  The solution was to load the object style from the doc that included the graphic into the doc that I wanted to place the graphic in.  Then when I copy & paste, the graphic comes in perfectly.  The only problem is if there are other graphics in that doc, but now that I know there is an issue with object styles, I can pay attention to it as I design.
I can always count on the forum for great answers!
