Layout configuration prevalence

Hi y'all !
I've created a keyboard layout using KLC. I need the shorcuts of such layout to prevail over the shortcuts of other applications
such as Microsoft Word and over the ones associated to browsers - typing in the notepad poses no problem at all, as every stroke combination works.
Can this be set in some direct way, or rather changing manually one by one ?
I am using W7, and the laptop is Acer.

Sorry, this is forum which discuss questions and feedback for Microsoft Office product. We have no existing file Keyboard layout configuration file for Windows 7 to deliver you to setup that. If we want to do this, we may define it one by one only.

How to add a field in line layout configuration for Tcode F-28

Hi friends,
I have a requirement where i need to add a field in line layout 'K1'.
The field is EXNUM - ( Official Excise Document Number ) from the table J_1IEXCHDR into the existing Line layout 'K1'.
I am not able to add this field under line layout configuration,since this field does not exist in field list.
I have been searching for the suitable enhancement,but not able to locate one.
It would be really helpful if someone share some info regarding this issue.

You need to go for Z program by copying the existing program of F-28 and add your required field with the help of Abaper.

MD47 - Layout configuration

Hello,
My client needs for a certain Product Group, that trx. MD47 (Evaluation of Product Group Planning) only shows the Cumulative ATP values.
I think this can be arranged via a specific layout configuration but I can not find in the IMG where to do this config!
Can anyone help me on this one.

First you define an evaluation profile, then assign the evaluation profile to your layout. Within the evaluation profile (Transaction OPPM), you can decide to choose 'LA Available qty', 'AT ATP quantity' or 'AC Cumulated ATP'. Maybe one of them can fulfill your requirements.

NACHA File layout configuration

An ACH NACHA file has the following components..
File Header Record(1)
This gain has many fileds like Record type code, priority code, immediate destination etc
Batch header Record(5)
Record type code, company Identification
Entry Detail Record(6)
Transactioncode, Check digit etc
Addenda Record(7)
Record Type Code...etc
Batch Control Record(8)
File Control Record(9)
Batch Count, block count etc...
Now This is the Layout which the company wants to implement
The commpany is already using an ACH file for an old bank.
But wants to implement a New Bank with a lil variation of old NACHA format
In SAP where can I set these fields or parameters.....
for some programs I can goto System->Status and double click on program and goto ABAP editor and change fields.
But for this ACH where can go and set the parameters according to requirements
There is actually one more requirement...
In the ACH file The New banks wants the
File Creation Date (It is entry in field no 5 of File Header Record(1) of ACH file)
this date should be less than Effective Entry DAte (It is an entry in Field no 9 in Batch Header Record(5))

Hi guys,
I'm using RFFOUS_T program with F110 to produce ACH file.
I was able to transmit file to the bank via batch process but bank said that they have received errors on the file.
Where do you correct these changes on ACH file or in configuration ? Here are some of the errors that they have mentioned.

u2022     Set up a new output type as a copy of your standard output type. Assign an access sequence containing customer.
u2022     Add the new type to your active output determination procedure and assign an appropriate requirements routine (if any).
u2022     Assign a layout set (smartform, sapscript, adobe, etc.) that meets your customeru2019s requirements.
u2022     Maintain the condition record.

Xfce - layout configuration - dont save

The few hours ago I was using the xfce4 with the layout set in BR. After leave me for an hour, leaving your computer on with no applications running, xfce4 changed my layout for the American model!
I was in the keyboard settings in the xfce4 menu and I was scared to see that there was still indicated as layout Brazilian .-.
Deleting the configuration and added a new keyboard with the same configuration! restarted the computer. Before calling the xfce4 noticed that the terminals ABNT layout was being loaded correctly.
Xfce4 started and the problem continued! I decided to download the gnome. installed it and set up your layout to the ABNT. Incredible! he carried no major problems the correct layout!
However, I would go back to using the keyboard with xfce4 portgues_brazil)

no. there is no such thing. individual applications window positions are stored in preference files of those applications and their behavior is programmed into applications themselves. some apps have special features to remember their desktop positions between launches but if they don't there is nothing you can do to force them.

VA02 Item Layout Configure failure

While in VA02 I wish to change the order of the columns. Having done that I hit the Configure button, create, and save a new variant. When returning to the screen, the layout is completely messed up. If I select the configure button and select either Basic_Setting or my new one, it fixes it. This is happening for most if not all users. We are on

The problem is, when the user closes the order screen and goes back in, the screen is neither in the standard layout or the user layout. Nothing is in the right place.

Add 2 same fields in O7Z4 (maintain line layout configuration)

Dear expert,
I would like to customize a new line layout for f-44 & f-58 when select on process open item.
I want to have 2 field of text field (table: RFOPS, field name: SGTXT), but when i select on insert after... only 1 text field can add in the new line layout.
Is it possible for me to add another text field (same field name as above) in same new layout?
Or this require ABAP to help?
Please advice.

Hello,
The problem is that only certain amount of characters are supported. What you can do is double click on the field (or press F2) and reduce its dispay lenght. During the display, the user can scroll on the shortened fields.
I know its not the best, but at least is something.

Audio volume not save and keyboard layout configuration problems

Hello all,
I needed to register again because my old account seems not to be working
After almost 2 years without Arch due to work now I'm back to Arch again.
Everything has changed... now there is Systemd and even the installation it's different so I will need some helps from the experienced users
The installation was done yesterday and I found two issues that are really annoying me.
The first one... keyboard layout... Yes it's incredibly... I only want my system in english and my keyboard in norwegian... But all are problems for that. Before telling me to read more or search for information.... I will tell you that I waster 2 hours yesterday only for that... With no success at all.
The second one... even more stupid... why my pulseaudio keep the volumen at 100%? I tried different things... but not success at all.
So please, can you help me?
I will provide all the information you need.

To be honest I was following a guide to install the system and everything works ok but according to journalctl I have some problems with pulseaudio so I guess that can be the original problem.

Is iPad video app layout configurable?

I find the thumbnail format of the iPad video app rather poor. Is there any way to choose a list view? Or to change the size of the thumbnails.

Discoverer Layout Configuration

Greetings!
I'm starting to work with OracleBI Discoverer IAS and I must try out some of its features, in order to suit the company's needs and improve the work done so far.
One of the details that is required to change is the report's info displayed in Discoverer Viewer: the parameters are always shown on top of the table! Is there any way to have this option always colapsed when the page is loaded.. or even to avoid it from appearing at all???

Has anyone some ideas or hints? (Worksheet.uix, etc...)
I have reports with a lot of parameters that are important but the default should be that the parameters area should be collapes.

IPad Air - Calendar Viewing Configuration

I am a new entrant into the Apple ownership world and recently purchased an iPad Air. I have a question regarding the Calendar application and the viewing setup in the Day view.
I have several calendars (work and home) setup. When viewing a day, there is a left "frame" shown with the appointments by time (hourly). On the right, there is a "frame" that shows the details. My desire is to be able to close the right detail frame to allow the viewing of more overall calendar information and have that detail frame re-appear when I tap on a specific appointment. Is this possible?
I had also read some tutorials on the web that referenced a 3 day view in previous versions and am wondering if that exists with the current version (IOS 7?).

There is no "three day view", and if there ever was, it has been quite some time ago. Nor is the view layout configurable. If you tap the search icon (looking gklass, upper right) it will display a concise list of events, defaulting to the current day if you do not actually type in a search term (this works regardless of the current view you are in)

[8.1 pro update1] Windows KEEPS changing and reinstalling keyboard layouts regardsless of IgnoreRemoteKeyboardLayout

Windows 8.1 is driving me nuts beyond believe once again. I have 8.1 Pro update 1 English, installed from the VLK iso from our Volume License / SPLA account. As we are a Dutch company, the Location is set to The Netherlands, as well as the date/time format.
Therefore in my keyboard settings the language is Dutch (NL) but I set my keyboard layout to US, as below:
As you can see there are no other languages our installed. This worked for years with Windows 7 and before with XP. Windows 8.1 however KEEPS changing my keyboard layout to plain Dutch making my keyboard unusable. The language bar in the systemtray, or whatever
it's called in this OS, shows THREE layouts, which are actually 'selectable' and work as if they were installed. However, they are not 'really' installed, as per the screenshots above.
This is driving me completely mad. Why on earth is Windows making descisions for me which I should be making myself? In addition, in my oppinion Windows should NEVER change somthing as trivial as a keyboard layout by itself. People don't change switch keyboard
even when logging on to a remote system that has a different layout configured. Whoever came up with this 'automatic switching per application' idea once again had no clue of real-life usage at all.
I've added those two languages I do NOT want to my keyboard layouts and removed them. Sure they are gone then, and as only language NLD with layout US is left, the language bar in systray is gone as well. After a few days all three are back, and my keyboard
is producing wrong characters again.
I've tried with regvalue HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Keyboard Layout\IgnoreRemoteKeyboardLayout set to 1, to no avail at all. It just keeps changing. This should help to prevent my keyboard when changing when I RDP to one of my servers.
The advanced settings in Language don't help either:
'let me set a different input language for each app window' is unticked.
Override for default keyboard is now set to Dutch - US, like I want it. Doesn't help either.
I cannot reproduce it on demand, settings do NOT change when connecting to my RDP server(s). They do NOT change when I open any of my used programs, being IE, Chrome, CMD.exe, notepad and a few others. It shouldn't either as I disabled the 'keep settings
per application'.
I have changed the keyboard shortcut from alt-shift or whatever it was to 'none'.
How to prevent Windows 8.1 completely from changing the keyboard layout I use? Is there any way to check WHY or WHAT actually changes my keyboard?

This might be really late to this post but I've been having this issue while playing games, particularly those which are complex enough to require Control, Alt, Shift. At first like some people here suggested
Windows Key + Space was the cause, but even after removing all alternate layouts (for reference, I want the UK layout, but it was switching to the US Layout) it was persisting.
This post pointed me in the right direction, go into your Language Options
> Change Override (Advanced). At this stage I've noticed there is the Switching input methods section, look for
Change language bar hot keys and here I fount Alt + Shift
was being used for switching Between input languages - a key combo I'd probably hit quite often just purely by accident. You can change the key sequence to no binds.
I haven't fully tested it, but it appears to be working for now - and I hope its an extra option for people to look at if they're running into this issue.
