Layout Disappeared

Hi,
There were 10 reports in a folder in BEX and there were layouts as well on the reports. But now suddenly all the layouts on all the reports have been disappeared. Can anyone please advice how can i restore all of them in place as earlier.

Ditto. The Bulgarian phonetic layout defaults to BDS. This is quite annoying so hopefully you can get it fixed so that people using this keyboard can upgrade to os4. I just rolled back to 3 and everything works again

Pages layout disappears when scrolling

When using pages, after i select the template i want to use, i begin to edit the template. but if i scroll down, even just a little, the entire template vanishes. It is only when i scroll all the way up that the template is visible in the work space.
What is going on? I dont understand. How can I work on a template when I can't even see it?
Somebody please help, this is getting quite annoying.

Thanks for your reply, however I do not think it is the document that has the problem. It is the program itself. Here is a detailed description of what happens:
1. I open pages
2. I pick out a template
3. Template opens and I want to edit it
4. I scroll down to view the lower part of the template (zoomis on 125%)
5. Template disappears as soon as i start scrollng down. When I scroll back up to the top the template re-appears.
If i change the zoom setting to "fit to page" everything is ok, but I have a hard time editing because what I see is too small.
This is a strange problem is is really getting quite annoying becaus I cant use pages for anything because of this.

Layouts disappear after upgrade from 4.6c to ECC 6.0

In the upgrade from 4.6c to ECC 6.0 , the layouts in the SAP QUERIES in the new system are either lost or showing lesser fields than original system .How do get the exact layouts as in 4.6c?

How do I recover my original layout after pressing outline and having it all disappear? (com+z wont help)

I have been working on a 9 page document on Pages, creating my own layout, when I, for some unknown reason, pressed the outline option. This made my entire layout disappear. When I pressed undo or command+z it returned with only my front page, everything else blank. I freaked out and quit then re opened pages and there is still everything just... blank. Is there anyway I can find my version i was working on yesterday or anything? Any recovery software that will help with this? I have a deadline this week and can't redo it, most of it was thought up while I was creating it. PLEASE HELP ME!!

Select Hide Document Outline from the View menu. (And redo whatever you undid.)

Images & Text Disappears

This is the second time while using Indesign CS5.5 part of the images and text copy on my layout disappears on the screen. Any clue? I might say that it is only with one specific document that I update every month. Need your expertise, please!

Thank you very much for your answer.
Please see attached images and you will understand what I mean. By doing a pdf will bring some of the lost pics & text back but not completely. If I try to select any pic or text, where I believe they are, I can't select them. I can't work on it at all. It happens mainly when I save the document. I tried closing the doc, indesign, the MAC but when I open the same doc the problem is there, exactly the same as when I closed it. At this moment I won't be able to work with that document at all. I need to start again from the old working layout.
I created this document in CS5.5 and I do have 7.5.2.
I will try the suggested link and I will let you know.

Dreamweaver cs3 and firefox

Hello. I am currently using cs3 and the latest version of firefox to preview my pages. After reading some of the posts I see that I am not the only one having some of the compatability issues others are having.
The one main issue I am having is pieces of the layout disappearing, one page will be fine while another page "explodes" basicly, ie; text moving up where it shouldn't, background colors (cells) disappearing. enlarge spacing between cells, text that is left justified going centered and not being able to use alt text when using an image in a background.
When I preview these pages in Safari or Opera they are fine, any version of IE not so fine.
Would appreciate some insight and knowledge if anyone of the aformentioned items ring a bell with anyone.

Further research shows that this is an ongoing issue with Firefox.
This is sort of like driving a car. Most of the cars that I drive Down Under, have the indicator lever to the left of the steering column, that is until I bought a European car (VW Touareg - my forum name). Every time I wanted to use the indicators, my wipers would be activated. Is this called an ongoing issue with European cars??? I just had to learn to use the indicator lever on the right side of the steering column.
So too with browsers, one interprets an instruction with a lefthanded lever, the oiher is righthanded, figuratively speaking.
We have to learn to accommodate each of these differences if we want to target our audience, so to say that it is an ongoing issue with Firefox????

SQL Scrapbook - what if the db changes?

<p>If you build a report in CR4E based on an SQL scrapbook, what happens if something changes? E.g. either a DBA changes a column name, or a developer drops the COST column and adds BASE and TAX columns. How do you alter the SQL in this case? Another time this might come up would be if someone wanted an additional column added to the report that didn't currently exist in the dataset. </p><p>I did try adding a new SQL scrapbook to the report, but as soon as I removed the old one the entire layout disappeared, which I pretty much expected. Is the only option to redo the report from scratch? </p>

There have been fixes released for the JRC and Crystal Reports for Eclipse. Currently we are at Patch 5; if you are n't at that level (or aren't sure what level you are at) I would suggest first upgrading your product. This can be done through the Update Manager in the IDE.
If the issue still occurs, it may have been fixed in our next release of Crystal Reports for Eclipse, which is currently publicly available as an Alpha release from the following place:

Text UDF Disappear in CRYSTAL Layout

Hi all,
I built a SBO layout for sales quotation in crystal 2008.
When i display the layout in the crystal editor every thing works fine, but when i open the layout in SBO all the text UDF disappears (including their column headers).
Numeric UDF are displayed fine.
Does anyone have a clue for the source of this problem.

are you using Stored Procedure or direct to tables?
i will recommend you use Stored Procedure and use the SQL CAST to achieve the desired output.

My "layout" view has disappeared. how do I get it back?

I don't know how this happened but my "layout" view has disappeared and has been replaced by THIS view:
I must have triggered some command but for the life of me I can't retrace my steps. Anyone know what caused this?

I'm betting you have a major structural defect in your code that DW is choking on in Design View.
Try fixing any errors found in the validator at http://validator.w3.org
Usually something that bad is caused by an unclosed <title> tag.

When exporting my Indesign Layout with Images, the images disappear ?

When exporting my indesign layout the images disappear once exporting as a PDF print.
I have had several information bubbles appear claiming I need to alter my blend space due or colour settings ?
I have altered the blend space to rgb and still it does not work.
I have also unlocked all the layers in attempt for this to work.
My assignment is due in tomorrow and still I cannot get this feature to work
any help would be great !

Not really helpful. OS X? Windows? Probably not relevant, as it turns out, for this problem, but you should be specific.

Does that mean you are trying to use Mac Preview to view the PDF? If so, it may give you bad results. Mac Preview is not a godd general-purpose PDF viewer and is incapable of rendering complex PDF.
The first error dialog you show is what you would get when opening a file in ID that has different document color spaces than the default settings in your color settings file. That's not a problem, and to preserve the color appearances you would leave things as they are.
The second warning dialog indicates you are making an interactive PDF, which is RGB. If you are using CMYK images I don't think you'll avoid color shifts no matter what you do if you have transparency, but I don't do interactive PDF, so I can't give good advice here. If you are using RGB images, by all means your transparency blend space should be set to RGB.

Creating Page Layout Problem : Page Content Disappears

Hello,
I am a recent grad and new to the world of Sharepoint and ASP.
I created a Page Layout with 3 columns and I implemented the 'Page Content' in each column.
When I enter anything ( Text or HTML) in the Page Content and save, it immediately discards what I entered and saved.
What am I doing wrong?

According to your post, my understanding is that Page Content Disappears after you save the created Page Layout.
The issues is caused by that Page Layout is not assocaited with the content type.
Please make sure you create Page Layout correctly. You can refer to:

Photos disappear from my Pages layout

I'm nearing completion of a layout for a 50-page booklet but have discovered that when I adjust photos (or copy?) in an early chapter, several photos often disappear from a later chapter. What am I doing wrong?

You are using a Pages Word Processing document.
Your images are floating objects.
Floating objects position is determined with respect to the top left corner of the document. These objects do not move with the text.
Floating objects will be visible only if there is a page at that location.
Pages Word Processing documents create new pages only if there is text to be placed on that page.
Your editing of text has resulted in less text in the document, OR
You have removed one or more graphic objects early in the document, allowing text to move up to fill the space formerly occupied by those objects.
In either case, the text now occupies a smaller number of pages, the pages no longer occupied by text disappear, and the graphics objects that were displayed on those pages now have no page(s) on which to be displayed.
Insert a few page breaks at the end of the document, and the graphics objects will reappear.

Bug in Studio 10.3 - Automatic Handler disappears in horizontal layout

In process model, clicking on "Layout" button causes "Automatic Handler" swimlane to disappear.
I've observed this only when using horizontal layout.
1. Create process
2. add automatic activity to automaic handler swimlane
3. add new swimlane "clerk"
4. Create global ctearion into swimlane clerk
5. Click "Layout" button
6. Done: all stuff is now in swimlane clerk, which is the only swimlane left.
Looks like a bug to me.
