i am doing a Mudulepool report and when i access to teh LAYOUT its not comming(its comming as a editor). Plz suggest if any configrations needed to desighn screen elements

It is bcoz there is a File called "EUMFCDLL.DLL" missing while installing SAP GUI.
So it will give an ALPHANUMERIC EDITOR instead of Graphical Screen Painter.
Get this file from the BASIS consultant.
You have to Download this file into this Location in ur PC:
C:\PROGRAM FILES\SAP\FRONTEND\SAPGUI
Then it will work.

How do I get RH to assign one to the other?
When I get to the generating stage, I select Multiscreen... or do I...?
What do I do to generate a file for ONLY that specific screen?

Hi,
You assign Screen Layouts to Screen Profiles during generation. (In the Single Source layout)
In the Single Source Layout, go to the entry Screen Profiles. You can add and remove Screen Profiles. And you also select a Screen Layout for every profile there.
If you want to generate output for only that specific screen, only add a single Screen Profile in the SSL.

XFCE - switch to US keyboard layout on screen lock

I have a dual keyboard layout, and when xscreensaver triggers, I have no indication which language am I in. This is not a problem with gnome screen saver, but with xscreensaver that comes with xfce4 there is no indicator, which is annoying. Also, no indication that caps-lock is on, but at least this could be detected by the LED.
I modified /usr/bin/xflock4, adding following line to beginning of the file:
/usr/bin/setxkbmap -layout "us,ru" -option "grp:lalt_lshift_toggle,terminate:ctrl_alt_bksp"
it works, but only when I lock the screen using "lock screen" button on xfce panel. When screen locks up due to timeout, keyboard layout stays as-is. It looks like there is a different command being used by power manager to turn off screen. Anyone knows how to hook into this?

More detail: Some keys on the keyboard do work, ie: caps lock toggles the led, and the function keys across the top seem to work {that is I can adjust brightness, and so forth}
the letter and numbers, and perhap others do not work.

Changing Layout on screen with multiple sections

Hello Gurus,
How can we change layouts for 3 different sections of the screen after executing single transaction.. It allows only one layout to set as default but other two remain unchanged. how can we change layouts for each section on the same screen.

Hi Agnes,
Enable 'Suppress Blank Section" option in Section Expert for those 3 footer section.
Go to Section Expert.
Click on the particular section(Say FooterA)
In the Commen tab, Check 'Suppress Blank Section" (5th one).
Do the same for Other two.

Layout problem - screen not big enough!

Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone could think of a solution to my problem.
I currently have a jframe which has four tables on it, one table spans the upper row, while the other three tables below it are next to each other: -

I don't specify the dimensions of the tables or the jpanels that these tables will occupy so that they will fill the screen regardless of any different screen resolution that is used on the computer.
My problem is that the combined heights of these tables means than the Jframe is bigger than the dimensions of the screen, so I can't see that bottom of the jframe - which among other things means I can't manually click on the bottom right corner to re-size the window.
The reason I don't want to specify the exact dimensions of the tables or panels is because if I (for example) set the dimensions to fit into 800x600, and the person has a 1280x1024 resolution then when they maximize the window there'll be a big border around the tables. Like I said before, I want the tables to occupy the available space.
I've tried setting the size of the jframe at startup using the setSize and setBounds method but it has no effect. It's odd, because I can still resize the window using the top left or top right corner and click and dragging to resize the window. When I make the window smaller the layout of the tables is fine, so I don't understand why the setsize method won't work - it's not like I'm setting the size to below their minimum dimension or anything.....
I hope my explanation of the problem is clear :-)
Does anyone know how I might fix it?

oh, I think I might have fixed it. If I setpreferedsize on the panel that contains all of the tables, then it seems to work! :-D

Jgoodies form layout creates screens that look different

Hi,
I am creating GUI screens using FormLayout. These look great on my laptop-15". The minute this goes to a desktop 17" monitor or to a 14" laptop some of the screen content is not displayed. I am forced to use a scroll pane and bring in horizontal scrolling! Even though the desktop has a 17" screen, the aspect ratio is different from my laptop's.
For example, please take a look at the below specification:

Panel B gets hidden in the smaller screens. I thought form layout uses dlu sizes that lays out the frame based on the screen resolution, screen size and the font size of the target computer. In that case why does Panel B get hidden? All the computers I tried this on has the screen resolution the same! 1280 * 800.
So this must depend on the screen size - 15" or 17" or 14" or ...... Is there anyway I can cater to different screen sizes, without my application looking all ugly?

Better ask wherever you got this FormLayout, it's not a part of the JDK. Or use one of the [_standard layouts_|http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/uiswing/layout/index.html].

WBSE Layout Detail Screens - Error while Client Copy

Hi
I have 4 Project Profiles like P1,P2,P3,P4.
I customized the WBSE Layout Details with 05 TABs for P1.
I included them in a TR & tried to make a client copy.
End result in the Target client is 09 TABS for P4 profile (actual intention is 05 TABS for P1 Profile as mentioned above)
This is very strange & I am not able to trace from where system picked up ...
1. Entirely different Project Profile
2. How 9 TABs have come instead of 5 TABs
Still,
Source Client shows entries for 5 TABs for P1 Profile
Target Client shows entries for 9 TABs for P4 Profile.

Hi Rafi,
TR is created following the automatic TR prompt while configuring only (similar to other standard configs).
I didnot know the point that "TR created from IMG for WBSE Detail Screens will not work".
But I made out the differences in "TCSCR" table entries (got this table from TR details) in the Source & Target clients.
There is a key number field "0002" which is the reason for mismatch in table "TCSCR" in both the clients.
I searched the help but did not get any value add.
What can be the solution now?

problem is, I don't want viewers to have to vertical scroll on any of the pages, I want the left hand address to always be visible at the bottom of the screen/page and I want the last line of text on in the right bar to line up with the bottom line of the address on the left. I know this isn't the easiest thing to control (due to browser compatibility) but i'm seeking advise for the best compromise/solution.
At the moment, i'm staying safe with a 800 x 600 px page. but to attempt to squeeze the content on the right into a space less than 600px high makes the text too small to read. Was thinking of going up to 1024 x 768 px but am worried that this will lead to vertical and horizontal scrolls.
I am currently using a fixed layout. I have looked into experimenting with elastic and liquid layouts but, and here's the real bind, I want the text content in the right hand bar to line up with the images in the navigation bar!! Am I right in thinking that with relative formats the images don't change it's just the text?

To achieve the pixel perfect precision you're after, you'll need to build your pages entirely with images. Seriously, you can't control where things line up if the end user's settings are not exactly like your own. So don't go there.
Identify your target audience. Desktop/laptops mostly use 1024 - 1280 wide displays.

Excessive horizontal scrolling to see a page is bad practice but vertical scrollbars are perfectly acceptable, and expected by site visitors. You're not doing anybody any favors by making your pages a fixed height. Depending on which toolbars people have opened in their browsers, you may find that 90% of your site visitors are seeing scrollbars anyway.

Two layouts and screen share questions

1) Will the contents of a pod be affected if I switch between two layouts that both contain the same pod?
2) Will my screen share remain active in one layout if I briefly switch to a different layout without the share pod or will I need to re-initiate it?

1. If you have the same instance of a share pod on two (or more) layouts, then the content will seamlessly transfer between layouts.
2. When leaving a layout with an active screen share, your screen share ends. You must re-start your screen share when you come back to a share pod.

How to change results layout in screen "Find Product Category"

Hello Experts,
Client wants to change the Categories/Material groups results layout (including additional columns) in the "Find Product Category" screen (found in the shopping cart, when you click on the "..." icon, in the "Category" field).
The search must use 3 "Z" tables.
What BADI(S) can I use in order to implement this requirement? Would I need to modify templates / services?
Note: Client is using SRM 5.0.

Cs6 fluid grid layout wide-screen resolution issue

Hi all, I've done some poking around but have not found anything that answers this question - if I missed something please pass me the link!
So I'm doing a new site in cs6 with fluid grid layouts. It's fine in terms of screen sizes, that is, small medium large, but different resolutions make the content appear differently. Specifically on desktop size screens with wide-screen resolutions (eg 1600X1200) the content is squeezed up towards the top of the page. The background image is fine on all resolutions - fills the screen - but the content on top changes according to the resolution. On my screen (1600X900) there's a nice distribution of content vertically. Is there any way to make it so that the content adjusts for resolution, not just size? Thanks in advance.

What I'd like is for the widescreen view not to change the vertical distribution. That is, on my screen the content fills about 3/4 of the screen, which looks fine. On widescreen resolution, it barely covers 2/3 and it looks top-heavy - users I've asked with widescreen resolutions have said "it looks squished towards the top, why don't you move it down?". I guess I don't understand, if height as well as width is determined in percentage, why this happens (that lack of understanding could reveal my fundamental lack of understanding of aspect ratio/mathematics in general ).
I suppose I could give a bigger margin at the top to move the content down the page in all cases, but on my screen, not widescreen, that's not ideal. And I'm hoping there's a way to adjust for widescreen without affecting all resolutions.

User-Specific Check-box is greyed out in the SAVE LAYOUT popup screen

In the ALV grid I have included the Layout options menu. (Choose, Select, Save, Manage).
When i try to save the layout, I cannot make it User-Specific. The User-Specific Check box is greyed out.
Please let me know how to enable it.

As the three fields XREF1/2/3 are already included in structure ACGL_ITEM as SAP standard fields, you should follow carefully the instructions of the note 174413.
which states as follows..
To include customer-specific fields, proceed as follows.
1. Include structure CI_COBL, which contains the customer fields, as an
     Include in structure ACGL_ITEM.
     Attention: If you have maintained foreign key dependencies for your
     customer fields, then copy structure CI_COBL into structure CI_ACGL
     and include it in structure ACGL_ITEM instead of structure CI_COBL.
     Adjust the foreign key checks in structure CI_ACGL so that you ony
     use fields of structure ACGL_ITEM as foreign key fields.
2. Place the customer fields on screen SAPLFSKB 0100 (Transaction
     SE51).
3. Enter '001' in Mod. group 4 for the added customer fields in the
                                                                   Page 2
     element list of the screen, and in Mod. group 1 fill the value from
