Layout of Windows Diagram View not in DTR

Hello,
After painstakingly having laid out all the viewsets to get a decent overview of the actual viewset navigation I had to remove the project and its contents from my development machine and recreate it. Apparently the layout of the viewsets is not something that's stored in the DTR.
But since the layout does seem to be saved (it's there after closing and restarting the NWDS), I'm wondering if it's possible to add the relevant file(s) to the DTR so my fellow developers can also benefit from a pleasant viewset layout.
So in essence, my question is, where is/are the file(s) located that store the actual layout of the window diagram view?

I went ahead and tried anyway.
Adding the Model Folder directory went OK, but adding the actual diagram files could only be done from the DTR perspective.
Doing a regular sync on another development machine gave errors, even after deleting the entire Model Folder directory. Doing a forced sync seemed to fix this, but that's a rather invasive action.
Even so, the Window Diagram didn't show up correctly, and, assuming the file in question is named Foo.txWDWindowDiagram, we ended up with another file, Foo1.txWDWindowDiagram.
The Component Diagram did appear to work though. Still considering the amount of coercion needed to get it to sync properly, we've decided to remove the files from the DTR.

Bridge opens JPEG files in Windows Photo Viewer not Photoshop

How do I tell Bridge to open my JPEG files in Photoshop and not Windows Photo Viewer? I see that Windows Photo Viewer is selected as the default in my preferences and I do not see Photoshop as an option. I do see COM Surrogate 6.1. I just upgraded from CS5 to CS6 yesterday and I am just noticing this issue. I never dealth with this problem with CS5. Any suggestions? Thank you all for the help.

If you deleted CS5 after installing CS6 you are one of the unfortunate that also fouled up the file associations.
The safest way to restore function is to uninstall CS6, run the Adobe script cleaner and reinstall.
There is a registry fix that I include as an option, but on vacation so can not find that references.
Some have had succes with running CCleaner, but registry cleaners can cause some problems of their own if the delete "good files".

A management pack bundle gives you the ability to not only add the XML but you could also add images or assembly in a much more efficient way then before without the bundle. When importing a MPB the xml will be imported as well as the assembly and images
within it.

Not defined outbound plug in Window or View but exists in NavigationLink

Hi Experts,
In NavigationlLink of standard component 'BSPWD_ADVSEARCH' contains the outbound plug 'SavedSearchEdit'.
But I am not able to find where the outbound plug is defined since it is not defined in its window or view.
Please explain me where the OUTBOUND plug is defined.

The Outbound plug is defined for the bsp component - BSPWD_ADVSEARCH.
You can check the same in SPRO settings by following the path:-
SPRO->CRM->UI FRAMEWORK->TECHNICAL ROLE DEFINITION -> DEFINE WORKAREA COMPONENT REPOSITORY.
Here select the BSP component - BSPWD_ADVSEARCH & select INBOUND PLUG DEFINITION option on the left side.
You'll see 2 IPs defined along with their Target IDs.

What did you update 10.8.2 from exactly? 10.6.8 maybe?

Why am I getting sharper printouts from Windows Photo Viewer than PSE 7? This was not always the case. has something in my settings changed? I have tried all obvious solutions but no change. How can i get the best image print outs from PSE?

I prefer to print from PSE as this allows me to set picture dimensions. Windows photo viewer does not give this flexibility. I am using the same PC, the same printer and the same print file, yet the outcome from each software option is significantly different. WPV is sharp and bright whereas PSE is softer. In IPhoto 11 I have made an album and rearrange the photos in the order I require them. When export the album to allow me to burn them to disk to be viewed in Windows they do not maintain the same order. What am I doing wrong?

When you sort the Album in iphoto are you sorting manually? Or by date of the photos?
When you sort in the Finder how are are you sorting?
Here's one way to do what you're trying to do:
Create your Album and sort the pics as you want them. Then Photos Menu: Batch Change -> Set Title to Text "John's Birthday", for instance, and tick the box to append a number to each Photo. Now your photos are titled 'John's Birthday 001, John's Birthday 002 ... etc'
Then File -> Export and in the Export dialogue set the Filename to "Use Title"
Sort on Filename in the Finder and you end up with a folder full of images in the same order as the Album in iPhoto.

Crystal Report Windows Forms Viewer problems - table could not be found

Hi,
I installed Crystal Report Viewer in SAP Business One 2007. All the while, I can run the reports without any problem. but when I loaded some of the new report, it gives me the following error message:
the caption says: "Crystal Reports Windows Forms Viewer"
the message says: "The table 'paymentVoucher' could not be found.
Error in file C:\...paymentVoucher.rpt. The table could not be found."
By the way, I can run the report in another workstation.
Any help or ideas of why this is happening or how to solve this will be greatly appreciated.

The report is not created by me. I just help others to transfer the report from one workstation to another workstation. PaymentVoucher is a view in the database and it is being put at a workstation that can be shared by everyone.
I've go through other forums and found out that it might be permission issues and now managed to solve the problem already.

then on the right scroll down and select the JPEG extension and change the application to which you want to open the Jpeg

Windows 8 - Adobe PDF Viewer Not Available

I have two new Dell touchscreen laptops with Windows 8 (not 8.1).
I am unable to get the tile/app integrated browser to open PDF files. Upon downloading a PDF it reports "Adobe PDF Viewer Not Available".
I've gone to the app store from Microsoft, and downloaded the tile/app reader, and it reports being installed....but no joy. I've gone to the Adobe site, and looked for and installed any/all Windows 8 viewers I can find, but it still doesn't work.
I CAN view PDF files by clicking on the Windows key, clicking on the desktop, opening IE, then using the Adobe Reader 11 that was installed. This seems so pointless, because the only way to view a PDF is to take about 4 extra clicks than I do in Ubuntu, Windows 7, or a Mac.
What's up with this?

Internet Explorer has two versions on Windows 8/RT.
(a) The desktop version of IE supports plugins and accelerators. This is the version that you launch from the Windows 8/RT desktop.
(b) The Windows Store app version (with "Modern" or "Metro" UI) of IE is touch-optimized, full screen, and plugin free. This is the version that you launch by tapping/clicking the tile in the Start screen.

Similarly, Adobe Reader also has two versions on Windows 8/RT.

However, the downsides of the desktop version are the incompatibility with the Windows RT operating system and security vulnerabilities. (b) The Windows Store app version is called Adobe Reader Touch. It is a relatively new product that was introduced a year ago. It does not support in-browser viewing of PDFs because of the security restrictions that are imposed on all Windows Store apps. It is compatible with both Windows 8 and RT operating systems.
Because the Windows Store app version of IE is designed to be plugin-free, no other desktop/Windows Store apps (hence, not even Adobe Reader XI) can install additional plugins (other than the Flash support that is built-in by default).
If you want the in-browser PDF viewing support, you need to use the desktop version of IE and the desktop version of a PDF viewer like Adobe Reader XI.
This is the application architecture decision that Microsoft has made deliberately. It's not a bug or oversight.
Microsoft has the Windows Store app version of PDF viewer called "Reader". It may be possible for Microsoft to add the in-browser PDF viewing support using Reader (just like Google Chrome does) in a future release of the Windows Store app version of IE. But it did not happen in the newer version of the operating systems: Windows 8.1 and Windows RT 8.1.

Officejet pro 8000 wireless will not print from windows photo viewer. all other diagnostics ok.

OS is Windows 7 Home Premium x 64. All functions and printing are ok with this unit, excepting for printing through Windows Photo Viewer. Have latest software, drivers, etc., and all HP software and hardware diagnostic tools check out ok.
Checked Windows event log, and get Event 350, PrintService - Document failed to print and was deleted because of corruption in the spooled file. The associated driver is: . Try printing the document again.
There is no additional info on this event listed in the Microsoft TechNet Events and Errors Message Reporting Center
When this happens, all of the lights on the printer flash very rapidly.
To correct, I clear the queue through Explorer, Troubleshoot, and unplug printer to reset.
Any suggestions appreciated.

FYI, I got this to work by treating my printer as a wired printer, even though it allegedly has wireless functionality. Luckily, my ohter devices can print to it wirelessly. At least I don't need to replace my printer just yet...

Crystal Report Windows Forms Viewer Error in 1 Workstation after upgrade of PL

Hi all,
We just upgraded SAP from 8.82 PL02 to 8.82 PL15.
Afterwards, in just 1 workstation, Crystal Reports layouts have Crystal Report Windows Forms Viewer error I attach.
Before the upgrade this error did not happen.
No permissions or authorizations were changed in the workstation.
The Crystal Reports layouts remain working fine in server and in the other workstations.
In the workstation following are installed:
- Operating System Windows 7;
- Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5;
- SAP Crystal Reports runtime engine for. NET Framework;
- Crystal Report 2008 Runtime SP6;
- Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Native Client.
All, but the operating system, are equal to the other workstations.
User has edit access to SAP folders, temp and access to the attach path.
We already uninstalled SAP client and client agent and re-installed it but with no avail.
Can anyone help me?

SCOM 2012 diagram views - additional additional objects before exporting to visio

Hi all,
SCOM 2012 R2 RU3 environment.
I am trying to create a diagram view which shows different groups of servers.
e.g. Domain Controllers, Messaging, Web, Line of business 1, 2 etc
I understand that I can create each diagram in the "my workspace" area, export each to visio - then drag all the items into one visio diagram in order to create a "consolidated" view.
My issue is that when I create a diagram based on, for example, AD Domain Controller Group (2008 and above), if I expand the diagram, only AD related services such as KDC, netlogon, NTDS etc. are shown. How would I get objects such as logical disk, network etc
which the domain controller has - but do not show up by default ? (if I create a diagram view based on Windows Server Computer Group and look at the same objects, such as logical disk, they are there)

Based on my research, the contents of a diagram view are determined by a specific object or singleton class.
Diagram views do not have criteria or a group in addition to the target. The view will include all objects that are contained or hosted by the target object.
From my understanding, it seems like that only the target class related monitored objects can be shown.

Use Kieler Layout on Sirius Diagram

Hi all,
I want to work with Obeo Designer which is a solution on top of Sirius. And i need to provide to the user the possibility to choose "graph" layout on his diagram.
For that, Kielier seems to be a good choice but the documentation is very poor.
Can anyone explain to me how to integrate KIELER Layout (Klay) ?
Or another solution than KIELER ?

I have seen Kieler in action with a Sirius diagram but have not
installed the environment myself. I do not think it required a lot of
customization as their is a Kieler Layout feature dedicated for GMF
diagram and Sirius is GMF-based. This feature added a Layout view where
you can choose Layout algorithms and other parameters (like padding if I
remember correctly). Have you tried to install Kieler or add it to your
target platform?
