Layout option access problem in Elements 11

I have a problem with Elements 11.  I'm busy doing a photobook but I find when i open the book it will open the page, layouts and graphics icons (bottom right) but i cannot get the layouts to open.  When I open this option it opens a blank page.  All my pages are there and all the graphics options and samples graphics appears as normal.
When I open a new photobook - the layouts icon opens as normal and I can pick the various options for the number of photos per page.  Please help.  JM2013

Thank for response.
1.  In Win, 2. Created book in Elements 11, 3.  In advanced Mode.
All the pages and layout as created before and all the additional pages that I have not yet used (added photos to) are there.  But as said before - the apges opens, the graphics opens but when I open the Layout options it only opens a blank window and the various layout options does not show.
regards.

  • Problem in Layout Option

    hi,
      i have created one report with layout option. but my problem is , how can i create layout screen with 'user specific' Option in Save layout?
    Regards,
    Neptune.M

    Hi,
    You are talking about ALV layout , then the option I_SAVE should be specified as follows.
    ' '= display variants cannot be saved
    Defined display variants (e.g. delivered display variants) can be selected for presentation independently of this flag.
    Changes can not be saved.
    'X' = standard save
    Display variants can be saved as standard display variants.
    User-specific saving is not possible.
    'U' = only user-specific saving
    The user can only save display variants user-specifically
    'A' = standard and user-specific saving
    The user can save a display variant user-specifically and
    as standard display variant. The user chooses in the display variant
    save popup.

  • Layout Option on Selection Screen For Zreport

    Hi All,
           Plz explain how to do coding for using Layout option  on selection screen of
    report. Also i should be able to save and create new layout on selection screen.
           Thnaks in advance.

    hi,
    creation of sub-screens.
    selection-screen begin of tabbed block <name of the tab> for < height of the tab in no's> lines.
    eg;
    selection-screen tab(20) l1 <data element> user-comand <name of the funcion code>
    selection-screen end of block <name of the tab strip>.
    eg;
    selection-screen begin of tabbed block mytab for 10 lines.
    selection-screen tab(20) l1 user-command tab1.
    selection-screen tab (20) l2 user-command tab2..
    selection-screen end of block mytab.
    Under initialization.
    data element = text-01.
    data element = text=02.
    How to initialize the tab with default screen.
    <name of the tab> - prog = sy-repid.
    <name of the tab>- dynnr = '<subscreen no>'.
    <nane of the tab>-activetab = '<user-command for the strip>
    if this has solved ur problem then dont forget to reward with points.
    with regards,

  • Layout option doesn't work in Easy Print VI panel, controls on tabs don't appear

    Found two problems with the Report Generation VIs:
    1) In the (Report Generation) Easy Print VI Panel or Documentation.vi, the Layout options don't work (dug down into the sub-VI's and found that they are not connected to anything).
    2) If you have controls or indicators on a Tab Control, and try to use the Easy Print VI Panel or Documentation.vi with the option to include controls in the report, they don't appear. The only controls/indicators that do appear are the ones that are displayed on all of the tabs (ie, create an control and move it on top of the tab control so that it appears on every page).  There is a sub-VI (Expand_control_ref_with_nested_controls.vi) that is called to handle nested controls (ie, clusters, arrays,etc...) but it should have a case to handle tab controls.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Hey Sajosie,
    Digging into the Sub-VI's you are correct in saying that the Layout Options user input is not connected to anything for most cases. However, In the default case of "Quick Print" the Layout Options are used to modify the layout of the report. In the help for this VI, it mentions that this input is ignored for "Standard Reports" and "HTML" report options. However, it does not mention that this ignoring of the Layout Options is expected for "Word" or "Excel" reports.
    In terms of including controls and indicators in the report that appear on tab controls, I can make a product suggestion to make this sort of front panel design more compatible with the Easy Print VI Panel or Documentation.
    Hope this helps.

  • Fix many web access problems with IFS 9.0.1 on Solaris (and other OS's)...

    When the installation is done according to the documentation,
    web access does not work because the scripts that add entries to
    the jserv.properties file add duplicate references to
    wrapper.env and wrapper.classpath. Look at the jserv.properties
    file below and look at the remarked-out (#) lines of the
    duplicate references. For example, look at the references to the
    wrapper.env=LD_LIBRARY_PATH
    Oracle, please note this bug so the web access problems are
    minimized when the product is intstalled.

  • Problems with Elements 7 Backup/Sync

    I have PSE 7 and have previously loaded albums I created in PSE 7 up to Photoshop.com.  Today I created a new album w/all JPEG files.  My PSE 7 is set to automatically upload to Photoshop.com when a new album is created....but after 4 hours now, not one single picture from the album is on Photoshop.com, much less the album.  The "backup/synchronization " function is reporting to be "operating normally".  The pictures in the new album are marked as "backup/synchronization" pending.  I'm a "Plus" member and still have plenty of space at my Photoshop.com account.
    How can I get my new album to load up to Photoshop.com?
    Thanks, Dave
    PS:  After reading the numerous previous posts, I am astounded that Adobe hasn't come up with a easy fix that is not as painful as the fixes offered in earlier posts (though they are appreciated).  I don't see how Adobe can tout the safety of their easy back up of albums to preserve precious memories when this is such a PIA.  I find the previous post about the free Picasa program compelling and now feel like to dork for re-upping the additional $$ for "Plus" membership.

    I'm having the same problem in Elements 8, the Sync agent shuts itself down.
    Additionally, I tried to launch it manually ElementsOrganizerSyncAgent.exe in the Elements Organizer 8 folder.
    The agent appears in the system tray for about 5 seconds then disappears.
    The Elements Organizer still says "Operating normally" but options such as "View Status" are shadowed.  Albums continue to sit in the Pending state.
    Here are the logs for the Elements team.  Given all the issues people are having, I hope this has been escalated.

  • F-28 Line Layout option

    Hi Gurus
    I am encountering a case where one user is not able to see a field in line layout. User donot have access to change the layout anf configuration has already been checked that field is set for that layout.
    I understand that line layout is not user specific in SAP. Could you advise something for this?
    Suitable answer would be rewarded.
    Thanks
    Jhanvi

    Hi,
    it is like an excel sheet. Select the edge of the coloumn that u want to hide, (+ sign cursor will appear)
    Use it to close the coloumn. If this is to be done permanently and for all users, select edit layout option(right hand top) and select administrator , to edit layout and save it in a variant name

  • Please log-in with an admin account to access adobe premiere elements

    I have bought Premier Elements but it will not start. Keeps asking me to: "please log-in with an admin account to access adobe premiere elements". Then it closes.
    ASUS laptop, 17" Processor: i7- 4700HQ @2.4 GHz
    RAM 8 GB,   Win 8.1 64
    My account is Admin, and have started the program "As administrator."
    Have reinstalled elements.
    The computer ran a trial of Adobe Premiere Pro CC perfectly. Have uninstalled it to see if it fixes the problem.
    Quicktime ver. 7.7.5  It is up to date.

    johnminkara
    What version of Premiere Elements are you using on your Windows 8.1 64 bit computer? For now I will assume Premiere Elements 12.
    If you are running the program from a User Account with Administrative Privileges, then please apply Run As Administrator
    a. by right clicking the desktop icon and clicking on Run As Administrator
    or
    b. by right clicking the desktop icon, selecting Properties, and then putting a check mark next to Run As Administrator found at the bottom of Compatibility Tab's
    "Privilege Level". You could also apply Run As Administrator to the Adobe Premiere Elements.exe file, but one or the other above should do the job.
    In the final analysis, you may probably end up with Premiere Elements 12 uninstall usual Control Panel route, free ccleaner run through (regular cleaner and registry cleaner parts), and reinstall with antivirus and firewall(s) disabled. Did you use a "Clean Tool" for the removal of Adobe Premiere Pro CC.
    Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6
    We will be watching for your results.

  • Give comprehensive API to access gradient mesh elements!

    Illustrator's gradient-mesh feature is a powerful and has created a completely different type of artwork.   We can see some of it by searching with Google search engine "gradient mesh image".   There we can see what some people have done with the gradient-mesh feature.    However, working manually with gradient-mesh can be very time-consuming and that has block this form of art.   It's very time-consuming and not economically efficient.
    I suggest that you offer an extensive API to get access to key elements of gradient-mesh so users can create their own scripts to speed up whatever they are doing.

    Hi all,
    verry good suggestions. The note The specified item was not found. solved my problem, nearls ;-).
    How it came to this?
    It has been a propper installed and working PI 7.10 SPS 6.
    After or during patching to SPS 7 anything went wrong in communication with the SLD. During investigation the user registering to the SLD was not allowed to do this any more and the entries inside SLD Administration for the two RFC connections were not available any more:
    1. SLD setting: NoneUnicodeGatewayRegistrationId for SLD_NUC was gone (deleted during patch)
    2. SLD setting: UnicodeGatewayRegistrationId for SLD_UC was gone (deleted during patch)
    3. SLD setting: StartRfcServer for true was gone (deleted during patch)
    4. User for SLD access was not alowed to access SLD
    This Blog is quite good /people/venugopalarao.immadisetty/blog/2007/03/15/adapter-engine-cannot-be-found-in-integration-directory but did not fit 100% my problem as well.
    The problem on my side was based on the fact that my system was upgraded from PI 7.00. It looked like that the users had not all permissions needed for a PI 7.10 system with SPS 7. I changed the permissions of the following users: PIRWBUSER, PIREPUSER, PIDIRUSER, PIAPPLUSER und PIAFUSER and added the following roles but I think that the main role is this one: SAP_BC_WEBSERVICE_PI_CFG_SRV
    SAP_BC_WEBSERVICE_PI_CFG_SRV
    SAP_SLD_ADMINISTRATOR
    SAP_SLD_CONFIGURATOR
    SAP_SLD_CONTENT_SYNC
    SAP_SLD_DATA_SUPPLIER
    SAP_SLD_DEVELOPER
    SAP_SLD_ORGANIZER
    SAP_SLD_SUPPORT
    SAP_XI_ID_SERV_USER
    SAP_XI_ID_SERV_USER_MAIN
    Maybe I will check later which one was really the reason for my problems.

  • IN ALV Report 'SAVE LAYOUT' option missing

    Dear All,
                 I have created one report in ALV GRID using ABAP OBJECTS(Using class CL_GUI_CUSTOM_CONTAINER and
    CL_GUI_ALV_GRID).But in output when i click on change layout option i am not getting SAVE layout option.
    I have already passed I_SAVE parameter = 'A' while calling metod SET_TABLE_FOR_FIRST_DISPLAY. But i didnt worked.
               Please do needful.
    Regards,
    Mayank

    Hi,
    You can manage display variants by using parameters, “is_variant” and “i_save” of “set_table_for_first_display”. Here are options for variant handling. <structure_name> is the variant-defining structure of type “DISVARIANT”. The field “report” in this structure should contain the value of “sy-repid.”
    Hope this helps. Reward points if helpful.
    Thanks,
    Balaji

  • Error While selecting Layout option in tcode SFP

    Hi
    I am getting the below error when i select the layout option in tcode SFP.
    Could not start Layout Designer (see long text)
    Message no. FPUIFB086
    Diagnosis
    The forms design tool for developing the form layout could not be started; either it is not installed or there are errors in the installation.
    Procedure
    Make sure that you have the forms design tool installed on your desktop (the tool is part of the SAPGUI installation).
    Also read SAP Note 801524.
    How to resolve this error?
    Regards,
    Abdul Hakim

    Hi Hakim,
    See the sap note below:
    Symptom
    Presentation CD 1 "SAP GUI for Windows 6.40" Compilation 3 references this note for additional components.
    For information about where to find the successive version of the installation component
    "Forms Design Tool" - "Adobe Forms Designer"
    refer to Note 962763.
    Reason and Prerequisites
    This note describes two possible installation procedures:
    Direct installation on the workstation
    Update installation server (for administrators)
    Solution
    Direct installation on the workstation
    Product: "SAP Interactive Forms" - "Adobe LiveCycle Designer"
                  Start "ALDsetup. exe" directly on your workstation. If you had already installed an older version of "Adobe Designer 6.0" using "SAP GUI" or "SAP NetWeaver Development Studio", you first need to delete the older "Forms Design Tool" version in the corresponding installation.
    Update installation server:
    If you have integrated an SAP GUI installation server with
    6.40 Compilation 3
    6.40 Compilation 2
    6.20 Compilation 6
    you can add the following product:
    Product: "SAP Interactive Forms" - "Adobe LiveCycle Designer":
                  To do this, start the program
                  "..\setup\ALDtoGUIServer.exe"
                  and specify the network path for an existing SAP GUI installation server. After this procedure, you can see the new "Interactive Forms" component in the component selection dialog box of the SAP GUI installation when you attach a new installation package with SAPAdmin. The installation on the workstation is then started as usual using "setup.exe" or "netsetup.exe".
    Caution:
    Some files on your existing installation server may still be write-protected (read-only).
    Make sure that all files in the two directories
    "...\Adobe\"
    "...\Common Files\"
    are not write-protected.
    To do this, open a DOS box (input request) and switch to the directory of the installation server and set
    attrib -r /s "Common Files\*.*"
    attrib -r /s "Adobe\*.*"
    before you start "..\setup\ALDtoGUIServer.exe".
    Otherwise, you may receive the following error message:
    "... .cab cannot be extracted. It may be corrupt."

    Md Ziauddin

    hi ,
    it depends on the user parameters.
    U have to identify the parameter id and u have to activate it in user maintainance partameters .
    su01 -> parameters.
    ex .  parameter id ->  SD_VARIANT_MAINTAIN -> X
    so u can save layout now.

  • How can we create save layout option in grid tool bar

    hi,
    how can we create select layout option in grid tool bar to save my own layout. if any one knows tell me immediately
    thanks

    Hi again,
    1. We need to do 1 additional thing.
    data : GS_variant TYPE DISVARIANT.
    GS_variant-REPORT = sy-repid.
    2.  while calling pass this parameter also.
         IS_VARIANT                    = GS_variant
    It will work now.
    3. Moreover, I_SAVE has 3 options.
    I_SAVE = SPACE
    Layouts cannot be saved.
    I_SAVE = 'U'
    Only user-defined layouts can be saved.
    I_SAVE = 'X'
    Only global layouts can be saved.
    I_SAVE = 'A'
    Both user-defined and global layouts can be saved.

  • HOW TO ACTIVATE SAVE LAYOUT OPTION IN VA05 T CODE

    Dear Genios,
    i am facing probel to activate the save layout option in any sap standard reports.
    I want to create & save a layout in standard report va05.
    please help me for the same.
    Regards
    Rabin Nayak

    Go to SU01/SU3 ( to ur ID) select parameters tab and then scrol down and press F4 select SD_VARIANT_MAINTAIN and in the next field select A or X then try it will allow u to save ur own variant.(the save icon come to screen variant selection screen)
    More on this:
    By default, SAP user can't save report layout in some SAP SD t-code such as: VA05 and SDO1. The 'save' menu will be grey. But, you actually can save the layout by adding a parameter in your SAP user profile. You do that with t-code: SU3. Go to 'parameters' tab and add new parameter id, which is: SD_VARIANT_MAINTAIN'. The parameter value for that is 'A'. Then save your user profile and try again to save layout in VA05 or SDO1 t-code.
