Layout save option in VA05 not active

I have little problem in VA05,
in this report layout save option is not active ,
can anyone guide how to activate it.

Hi,
Firstly you should save your layout as system-specific, then you have to go menu>Settings>Layouts-->Administration... to define your layout as default settings.
As thus, when you execute VA05, the new layout will be applied correctly.

I have developed one ALV report.
Firstly i use drill down in the report means call transaction by double click event.
Then i apply layout save option in same report.
But as soon as i apply layout save option the call transaction is not possible.

Hi,
when you applied save button did you use any other PF status apart froms standard ALV pf-status..
if so...
go to the pf-status which you have declared ...
then go to the function keys...
under Recommended Function Key Settings for the F2 key set the function code as
&IC1
this will resolve your issue

SJS8EA: Save All button is not active

Hello folks,
Just a little bug on SJS8EA: the "save all" action (button in toolbar or item in File menu) never seems active. Files are marked as modified with the *, and if I try to close SJS I am notified of unsaved files.
My config: WinXP Pro, java 1.5.0_03, working on java files in a Standard J2SE application.

Go to t.code SU01 enter your user ID.
Then in change mode, go to tab Parameters. Enter SD_VARIANT_MAINTAIN in parameter ID column and value as A in Parameter value field. Then save and try.

Go to SU01/SU3 ( to ur ID) select parameters tab and then scrol down and press F4 select SD_VARIANT_MAINTAIN and in the next field select A or X then try it will allow u to save ur own variant.(the save icon come to screen variant selection screen)

By default, SAP user can't save report layout in some SAP SD t-code such as: VA05 and SDO1. The 'save' menu will be grey. But, you actually can save the layout by adding a parameter in your SAP user profile. You do that with t-code: SU3. Go to 'parameters' tab and add new parameter id, which is: SD_VARIANT_MAINTAIN'. The parameter value for that is 'A'. Then save your user profile and try again to save layout in VA05 or SDO1 t-code.

The object F_IT_ALV has a field, the activity ACTVT, which can
contain four permitted values: 01, 02, 03 and 70.
Activity 03 corresponds to the minimum authorization, which is the
most restricted one: You can only select layouts which have
been configured already. In particular, all of the other functions
named above are inactive with activity 03.
I guess that your user-id have set activity 03 for this object.
The SAP notes 374656 and 409190 are recommended.
So, if the values 01 and 02 are not included, then
the user can't change and save layouts.
For the line item display in FI the authorization
object FI_IT_ALV has been created as an extra security check in addi-
tion to the ALV authorization object S_ALV_LAYO.
Please check note 374656 where you should be able to find
relevant info about this. Also note 637554 should be helpful.

You are missing an authorization object in your user profile. Run FBL3N and then run SU53 to see which auth obj is missing. Then send those details to your Security.

Save button not activated in AD HOC query

if u use pqah for adhoc query it not have save option ,Hope u r using the

Yes you are all correct guys, but i'm aware that i can't edit the system report.
What I did is i assigned a template for my query, then the system will automatically assign a template with the same name as my query. but the problem is when i open the layout, and make any changes, save button is not enabled, the system requires me to "save as". I dont encounter this problem in other version, but only in 2007a.

I've encountered with a huge problem after load opening balance.
I forgot to tick the option 'Display Credit Balance with negative sign"
It makes my client's Chart of Account uncommon such as credit balance in Cash Account, AR .....

Description of the bug::
When creating the company in the system the option 'Display Credit Balance with negative sign' was not activated.
Once transactions were created in the system the functionality can not be changed.
Limits of the query:
After running the update query, please restart SBO first and then run the restore 'GL account and bp balances';
otherwise, the cashed value of SBO will not be updated and restore function may not take effect.
1. Meaning of restart SBO => restart SBO Service Manager right?

I would think that you are following the PEQ instructions for note 970813, correct?
If this is the case and you are using 2007 then you will find the restorev in the top menu; Help -> Support Desk -> Restore. You will find the functions here. Please note that this should only be used on direct instruction from support or a note like in this case. A backup should also be taken before running restore.

One of our product systems , i take this error but another one it works correctly .

I am unable to unstack images with my Elements 11 as the stack option is not active.

I cannot detach images from stacks with my Elements 11. The stack option under the Edit mode is not active even after I have selected the image I want to detach from the stack that I want to email. Instead I end up with all the images in the stack being moved.
I would greatly appreciate any help you can give me in this area.

Press Ctrl+D/Cmd+D to get back to the old Detail View. Stacks and versions aren't in the new Adaptive Grid view that shows the thumbnails edge to edge.

On Win 7 64 bit Firefox, 15, 16 and 17 beta will not save "Options" settings.

I keep up with MS and Mozilla updates.
I do not remember other significant event which might have caused this problem.
The advice in "http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-to-fix-preferences-wont-save" did not help.

Some more testing. Running Ff 17 Win 7.
The initial response to this problem told me to delete the prefs.js files (and some similar) from my Firefox profiles. Having done that I restarted Firefox, updated my start page preference and "save downloads to" option. After a Firefox restart the "start home page" had not been saved but the download save option had.
Looking at preferences saved in my profile prefs.js was empty and prefs_temp.js was full of data. So I started Firefox, updated my "start home page", looked at prefs_temp.js and it contained my updated home page option. I shutdown Firefox, checked that my update was still in prefs_temp.js, copied my prefs_temp.js to prefs.js and resterted Firefox. Square 1, the default home page displayed, not my update.
