LCD List Needs Updated

I have a HP OfficeJet 6500 709 and when I try to scan from the printer, it brings up an error message stating that the LCD list needs to be updated. Is there a fix?

Try Restart and reset
Restart your computer.
With the product turned on, unplug the power cord from the back of the product.
Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet.
Wait 15 seconds.
Reconnect the power cord to the product, and then reconnect the power cord to the electrical outlet.
If the product does not automatically turn on, press the Power button ( ).
Wait a couple of minutes to make sure that the product is ready, and then try scanning again from the product control panel.

Scanning from the front panel is not supportes for Chrome OS, a such require an HP software which does not exists for Chrome OS as this is a cloud based OS.
You may get basic scan functionality using the printer's EWS page.
From the printer click the setup (wrench) button and select Network, then select Network Configuration and locate the listed IP address for the printer.
Type that IP into Google Chrome, the printer home page (EWS) appears.
Click the Scan tab and use that Webscan iterface for scanning, that will allow basic scan functionality from your printer.

LCD list needs to be upgraded.

My problem is I don't know what the message means. I push the buttons for a scan. The "scanning" box appears on my screen, then a box with the message "LCD list needs to be upgraded." It then gives me a box divided in half, with instructions on the left that can be added to or subtracted from the right. Nothing I do here makes any difference. All I want to do is scan a document to a file. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Upgrade LCD List

When I attempt to scan to a PC, I receive a dialog on said PC that says:
Upgrade LCD list
LCD List needs to be upgraded.
Hitting the OK button brings up a "Scan To...Setup (Front Panel List) dialog. It tells me that I can add Scan Shortcuts to the front panel list. Interestingly enough, i don't see any of the items in the 'Front panel list (Scan To button)' area actually on my lcd display. Selecting 'Update the Device' just closes the dialog, and nothing happens. What gives? The 'Manage Scan Shortcuts' doesn't help either: it doesn't do anything at all.

Hi,
Close HP Digital Imaging Monitor which is running in the system tray where you see system clock. Open Services.msc and for the following services, STOP and START them:
1)HP CUE Device Discovery
2)hpqcsx08
3)PML driver
4)Net Driver HPZ12
One or more entries may not be listed. Now open C:/Program Files/HP/Digital Imaging/bin and double click the file hpqtra08.exe. This will run HP Digital Imaging Monitor which will be visible in the system tray.
After one minute, turn OFF the printer and unplug the power cable. Wait for 2 min. Reconnect the power cable and turn ON the printer. Wait till the printer is completely turned ON and do not press any buttons. You might get message saying "Updating Device".

I just installed Mozilla Firefox 3.6. This is the first time have have installed Firefox. My problem is I no longer have the screen which lists which plugins need updating and researching. How can I find out which plugins need updating or researching?

After installation it told me to update or research several plugins. I updated Silverlight and JAVA. I was instructed to shut down and restart my computer to test the JAVA installation. I did this and the installation is fine. At this point I no longer had the screen with the list of plugins that need updating or researching.

There's been a problem with this all day. Seems to be a server problem - wait a day and try again, or use itunes on the computer to update, that works.

I have a workflow which updates a Reports list. I also have a favorites list which has 4-5 columns which are in the reports list and I would like to update those values when the reports list is updated. I use a workflow to update the reports list.

You could use your existing workflow to update the favourites list (after it has updated the reports list).
Another way, would be creating an event receiver that updates the favourites list whenever an item in the reports list is added, modified or deleted.
It depends on the functionality you need to achieve. If you are just incrementing the value of the columns for a single item in the favourites list (when a report is updated), then using the existing workflow would probably work best.

Send one mail for multiple list item update

i have 3 lists storing customer details which are displayed in a page. i need to send mail whenever there is customer details update(any or all 3 lists). should send only one mail per customer details update(not per list item update).Please advise how to
achieve this using SharePoint workflow.

According to your post, my understanding is that you want to send an email when this are list items update.
A workaround is that we can use one big list to store the customer details from these three lists, then let users update their information in the big list and send email.
Or we can create a form to update these 3 lists, then send a mail when the form saved.

AFAIK, the only way to do this is to write a system modifcation.
The BADI is executed only once at startup of the session, so that makes it merely static. (A strange point in time, I discussed it with SAP and they just shook their heads)
I had the same problem with some other F4-Helps and it was a big hazzle. From my experience, no straight answer.

External lists for updating marketing attributes

I'm now working in CRM 3.1, but we're going to upgrade for 5.0 in the autumn. In this relation I'm working on a pre-project where I'm looking for the possibilities for using external lists for updating marketing attributes on existing BPs. How can I map this fields? Do I use advanced mapping fields or structure enhancement using appended fields?

Yes, this function become standard for CRM 5.0. CRM5.0 ELM provide different format types for create BPs (with marketing attributes), activities and leads. You need to define different format type when you create mapping format. For updating marketing attributes, you need to choose type "Business Partner" type so that all the marketing attributes will be available for you to pick to create the mapping format.

AAM won't download photoshop, thinks I only need updates.

How do I change AAM to allow me to download photoshop? Currently it is indicating I only need updates, but photoshop is not installed on my computer.

found soluion. had to download and run Adobe Creative Suite Cleaner Tool and then reinstall AAM.
AAM is not listed in applications under control panel so I could not delete it from there.
After re-install I was able to install Photoshop.

How do we turn off list of updated apps in iOS 7 App Store?

In previous version of iOS, after you updated apps in the App Store, the Updates tab in the App Store would go blank until there were more updates. But now, the Updates tab shows a list of apps that were updated and it sorts by date. Anytime I go in there, it makes it look like there are a bunch of updates to install. Is there a way to turn this off so that it only shows apps that need updating, not the apps that have been updated already?

I guess I've personally never needed to know when I updated an app or to have a list of apps I've updated. Wouldn't this be a problem in the future when you have years of updates to scroll through? It just seems like that would unnecessarily increase the load time of the Updates tab. It would still be nice to have an option to turn that off or at least make it a collapsible menu item or something.
I could see where it might come in handy if you have the automatic app updates turned on, but I have that turned off since I like to see what changes an app is making before I install it, so I don't need that turned on since I manually update my apps.
