LCD TV - can I use as a monitor for my G4

Is it possible to connect an LCD TV to my G4 so I can mainly use the TV but use the computer as a back up if I need to. There seems to be a lot of LCD TVs that have computer in ports on them - is it that simple? Do I need a special cable? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Anyhow, it all depends on resolution of your TV and what inputs it has.
Nice thing about CRT monitors was their ability too change resolution and still look pretty good.
An LCD display has a "Native" resolution above which it will not go and below which it looks pretty bad.
The original NTSC standard for TV was 512 H by 3xx something vertical. (WWII era standard) DVD brought this to 640x480 and DV was 720 x 480.
Most Comp[uter monitors are at least 1280x1024 now so any of the above resolutions are going to be quite limiting for computer use.
To confuse consumers further, the new "HD" TV's have a couple different standards as well. 720i and 1080p. (I am doing this from memory, may be off on exact names) Those number refer to vertical resolution. So a TV that does 1080 HD res would be minimum for decent computer resolution.

Not directly, no. The input on the iMac will accept only a DisplayPort output. There is one converter on the market that purports to convert DVI to MiniDisplayPort:

but your G4 would of course need to have a DVI output.
The other option would be to use screen sharing to take control of your PowerMac from the iMac. If your PowerMac is running Leopard, screen sharing is built in. If it's running 10.4 or earlier, you could use the freeware VNC.

I can't use my Philips monitor with Mac mini, I am using a HDMI to VGA cable to connect them. But no signal on my Philips monitor.
My Mac mini is in a good condition, it can connect with my HDTV, the BENQ monitor at my office, but I can't make it connect with my Philips monitor.

The two are incompatible, HDMI is a digital signal and VGA is an analog signal. You need a monitor with a HDMI port or a DVI-I port, these are both digital signals. DVI-I gives the best output.

Pair a wireless KB with the laptop and all should be well when you attach the laptop to the iMac and invoke TDM. But as Denny mentions, it does seem like the waste of a good iMac to use it in just this configuration. Why is the laptop primary?

In addition to pixel density, you are up against the translation driver card in the TV.
If you read the fine print of computer-resolution-capability in the TV user guide, you will see a chart as tall as the manual page. At the top is the smallest resolution capable, at the bottom is the full use of the 1080p in the TV.
Mac falls into the top 25% of the page, maxing out at 1366x768 often. This is because the TV control card is expected to do too much of the work, but is not designed for computer-monitor processing.
I looked at the resolution charts on 2 TVs before deciding to buy a 1080p LCD monitor that has a TV interface/connector. Computer monitor first, TV second. But the thing is only 27 in. Good thing TV is not as important to me as it is to others.

Welcome to the Apple community.
iTunes and iCloud and different accounts, you will need to delete both accounts from your device before adding the new details in their place.
For iCloud go to settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit the delete button. You can then sign back in using your correct details. For iTunes go to settings >store, tap your account ID and then sign out, you can then sign back in using your correct Apple ID.

If you use the same AppleID for iMessage and iCloud though, you will all be sharing the same message account and iCloud email account. You can use a common AppleID for purchased content, but each create your own unique AppleID for iMessage and iCloud so you each have your own private accounts for those services.

The if statement in LabVIEW is the Case structure. You can find that on the Structures palette right next to the For Loop. If you're still on the same subject about terminating a for loop early, then what you do is enclose your functions inside the loop with a case statment and make one of the case's empty except for one or more constants that you might have to wire. Hopefully, the attached picture will explain what I mean. Also, as I mentioned in one of your other posts, I think this technique is not as good as using a while loop. The array in the attached example is the same size no matter what and you may have to handle stripping extra or invalid elements.
