I tried to addnode option under scripts..getting exception "LCM Services are already exist"
I am trying to repair LCM using lcm_repair with admin password..but it doesn't seem to work either..
has onyone come across this error and know how to fix this..Please throw some light on this...
Hi Seb,

But,It was already updated and i just saved registry and ran addnode script to update the node..
when i run, getting exception " Could not commit LCM Service category because another object with the same name already exist" Ofcourse LCM Service is already running..Please suggest...

You have not move enough parts of iWork over to the new computer. There are files in
Users > your name > Library > Application support > iWork. Get the iWork folder
MacHD > Library > Application Support > iWork '09. Get the folder
To get into the users Library you have to on Mountain Lion in the Finder click on Go in the menu while pressing down the Option key. -

Properly missing a USB hub driver for your PC. You should look at the PC manufacturer page for USB hub drivers. Windows 7 drivers should work for it. -
K8t neo fis2r - core center not functional after installing sound card
Hi. I had been using Core Center with Dynamic Overclocking enabled and all was well. When idle, my amd64 3000+ (2.0ghz), was running at 800mhz. Under load it would go up to 2100mhz. But yesterday, I installed an Auzentech x-plosion sound card and after i installed the driver, the dynamic overclocking stopped working, my cpu is running at max all the time. (The variable fan speed function still works).
I checked the IRQ and there is no conflict, I uninstalled the amd64 driver and core center and reinstalled. Still does not work. I uninstalled the auzentech driver, rebooted, and cancelled new hardware wizard. Then the variable cpu frequency feature worked. Once I install the driver for the auzentech, dynamic oc stops working. I was thinking to try another pci slot but it appears to be a software issue rather than a hardware issue. The new version of Core Center does not work with my board even though msi says it's compatible so I'm still using the one that always worked. The amd driver is the latest and also always worked.
Has anyone else had a similar problem, perhaps using the auzentech sound card with this board and Core Center? Or does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks!

Antec 430W psHey guys, I just went to AMDs site to get the dashboard utility mentioned and in the readme, it stated that in XP, the power option needs to be set to portable/laptop. But in the past, I read that it needed to be set to "always on" and that it is, in fact, what I had it set to before when cool n quiet was working. Now I change it to "portable/laptop" and it works and set to "always on" doesn't work anymore. So now Core Center reports I'm at 33c @800mhz at no load. I don't get it??? I'll have to try an alternate utility just to verify that is indeed working.
btw, QV, I checked system properties, (right-click my computer > properties, or "system" in control panel) and on the "general" tab, it indicates an AMD64 3000+, 2.0GHz. But I'm pretty certain the clock frequency is dropping now as reported by core center because of the decrease in the cpu temp at idle. Am I looking in the right place in XP? I have XP pro, SP2
Again, thanks for the input and Happy New Year -
Cannot get USB port to work after re-installing of SP2 on Satellite Pro L20
After re-installing XP Home SP2 and downloading all the updates & Drivers from here I cannot get my USB port to work properly, if I have more than one peripheral plugged in it says "Bandwidth Exceeded".
I have a Behringer BCD2000 which is a souncard/midi controler for DJ mixing, it worked fine before i reinstalled windows, now it clicks and pops when playing tunes, also the ASIO doesn't work when I run Traktor (Dj software) and the program freezes. Any other external sound card wont work either. I've been all through the device manager no conflicts apart from an ! over Serial under hidden devices.
I'm lost, is my only option buying a PCMCIA sound card, it worked fine before so surely there is a software solution to this?
If anyone can help I'd be most appreciative.Hello
Try to disable USB Error Detection:
1. Right-click My Computer and then click Properties.
2. Select Device Manager to view the Device Manager
3. Locate and click the Universal Serial Bus Controller entry.
4. Double-click Universal Host Controller and then click the Advanced tab of the Universal Host Controller Properties.
5. Put a checkmark in the box for Disable USB Error Detection. Click OK.
6. Restart the computer to see if "Bandwidth Exceeded" message occurs again
Did you use recovery media to reinstall WXP? When someone write it worked before and now not it is really not easy to say why this happen. Try to configure notebook as before and maybe it will work again. Behringer BCD2000 is not known to me and I dont know how it works and which software must be preinstalled there.
Can you use different USB devices like external HDD, USB mouse, USB memory stick or printer? -
I purchased a 3TB HDD (WD USB 3.0 $100) to replace the 2TB Seagate for a new Time Machine HDD. The 2B was full and backups were deleting older files. The 3TB was formatted NTFS and I want to "recover" the included SW before I reformatted the HDD for the iMac. I discovered that MacFuse was out of date and unsupported and my NTFS-32 was also out of date so I uninstalled both and then installed the most recent version of Tuxera NTFS for Mac. I rebooted and discovered that the FW800 port was unresponsive. Below is the EtreCheck report:
Problem description:
Firewire does not function after uninstalling macfuse and an out of date version of NTFS32 and then installed Tuxera NTFS for Mac.

What settings see Audigy again after XP SP2 install rollbac
Help please, Win XP SP PC, Audigy just fine, then install SP2, access denied 50% of the way through, install does a rollback, warning that some things may not work so well, and its lost me my sound :angry:Tried registry fixes progs, Creative diagnostics say hardware not found, but PC is dual boot and under Win2K audigy works fine. No doubt some tick box or entry somewhere corrupted. I have tried reloading the software from the CD back on, tried also uninstalling from CD then reinstalling, tried uninstall from add/rem progs then new install. Have not removed card as working in win2K so not card seating problem.Ghost copied back on the copy I made of my boot dri've prior to messing about with fixes, then tried for a repair from CD. Went into diagnostics and still fail declared, then whilst thats on screen, I was in word and heard paperclip go tink tink, wow...sound back, ran diagnostics and still fail, so its working, and well, and still diagnostics fail. Who cares if its working Do a restore point sensibly.Few hrs later after need for reboot, no sound, so did restore to that restorepoint, but still no sound...oh sod ! Now thats frustrating !?Please help, spent two whole days non stop fixing or trying to.Bloody SP2  its screwed up a few other things that I have now managed to recover. DBenz
Hi John-CL,PC tailor made to my own specs, March 2004, Win XP home SP is PC, this was around then and I wanted everything ok for such. The Motherboard is an MSI 875P neo (lovely board great reviews) having come out circa that time, all latest for XP.Audigy 2 ZSDevice Manager also blank after that SP2 install failed, unable to fix that despite many forum postings by others with same problems usually resolved with permissions in registry.A lot of the XP issues seem to end up in there, permissions, admin etc.Don't suppose video card details matter here. HDs are Seagate Barracudas. ATA onto Raid.Hope this hel
ps.
Also my Device manager is blank, tried all internet suggestions for others with such, permissions fix etc registry but to no avail. Also installed latest driver. Many thanks for assisting.Desperate here as video editing to do !DBenzMessage Edited by DBenz on 08-27-200703:24 AM

Tomcat won't work after XP SP2 install?? help, please
Help please!
Hi, I installed a fresh JDK (1_5_0_02-windows-i586-p), JRE (1.5.0_01), J2EE (1.4_2005Q1), Apache web server (2.0.53-win32-x86-no_ssl) and Tomcat (5.5.7) . Everything seemed to work. I installed XP Service Pack 2 and now Tomcat won't compile JSPs. (I don't know if the SP2 install was the cause).
The service Starts okay, but when I try to hit a jsp, Tomcat takes over my processor (at like 80%) and it starts writing to the stdout log (stdout was set to auto), repeatedly. After being up for like 20 min the log was well over 1 GB in size. It showed the below exceptions repeating ad infinitum.
I uninstalled and reinstalled Tomcat, repaired the Apache installation (that shouldn't matter, should it?), and I am going to try reinstalling JDK/JRE/J2EE, but does anyone have any ideas of how I can fix this?

Mar 13, 2005 9:15:15 PM oIs it possible this is resulting from classpaths not
being setup correctly? Could someone please tell me
what my CLASSPATH and PATH enviro variables should be
fod JDK, J2EE, JRE, etc...? Both in general and
specifically to be found by Tomcat. They are
installed in:
C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.5.0_02
C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_02
C:\Sun\AppServer
Thanks!Could be.
I think installing anything in directories whose path has spaces in it is a terrible idea. I'd reinstall the JDK to c:\SDKs or something like that.
There's no need for a system CLASSPATH - ever. You shouldn't have one. Use -classpath when you run javac.exe and java.exe to set the CLASSPATH. Tomcat has its own class loaders. You should deploy your Web apps in WAR files - they'll have the CLASSPATH set for you that way.
Your PATH should include the JAVA_HOME\bin.
set JAVA_HOME=C:\SDKs
set CATALINA_HOME=c:\Tools\Tomcat, or wherever you installed Tomcat.

"Finder" does not function after installing Leopard on Mac G5
After successfully installing Leopard on my (new) MacBook Pro and on my (old:2003) iMac PowerMac 6,1 I tried installing Leopard on my 2005 iMac G5.
The installation seemed successful, but after restarting the computer I was asked to choose the wireless network from a list. This was not possible. I do not use the Airport on this computer so tried to press "cancel". Could not do this and got the turning rainbow circle which never stopped.
*The Finder does not function and cannot be restarted. This seems to be the main problem.
I cannot log off or shut down and have to use the powerbutton to shut down.
When starting up I do not get the Startup sound. Do get login and can login. But, all my desktop buttons have disappeared and I immediately get a notice that OS X shut down unexpectedly, asking me to cancel or send a report. Neither of these options are possible and the turning rainbow reappears. It's driving me crazy!
I can sometimes open programs but no longer "system preferences".
Is there anybody out there who can help me??
I am especially frustrated since the other two installations on an older and on a newer Mac went well. I use the exact same programs on all three computers.

We stopped receiving event about lockout users after we installed rollup 4 for tmg with sp2
We have implemented Account Lockout Feature in TMG 2010 (http://www.ntsystems.it/post/ActiveSync-ForeFront-TMG-and-AccountLockoutThreshold.aspx). We configured
alert definition to send alert when problem occure. After we installed rollup 4 we stopped receiving event about this probloem ("The limit of consecutive logon failures has been reached...."). How can we resolve this problem? We have implented
a script which send this information automatically to user with problem. This is very important for us.
Event description:
Source: Microsoft Forefront TMG Web
Event ID: 32581
Level: Error
Text: limit for consecutive logon failures has been reached. Additional logon attempts by domain.local\user.name will be automatically rejected for the next 300 secondsHi,
Before going further troubleshooting, we should confirm if account lockout works fine now.
Please refer to the article below to check some limitations on this function.
http://blogs.technet.com/b/isablog/archive/2012/11/01/using-the-account-lockout-feature-in-tmg-2010.aspx
Is there any other different information after you install Rollup 4? Or what something else do you change during update to RU4?
Best Regards

after I installed 7 on my IPad none of the keyboard functions work properly. seems like microsft had something to do with this new operating system. any know what I did wrong
Thanks for the quick advice!
Unfortunately, I am still unable to open my core productivity apps, namely Skype and Evernote. Twitter, as well, could not start. But interesting quick fix though, I never knew you could do that.
Here's the error log after the restart:
What else should I try? -
K9A2 Platinum - Cannot get win xp2 sp2 installed

I made a post on here a few weeks ago about getting a raid 0 setup going on a new build and after a few hours of tweeking around got one to work. Windows XP Home w/ SP2 installed fine the first time. Computer ran great for about 3 days. Then I noticed that whenever I tried to install anything using 2 or more install CDs, windows would crash when I opened the cd tray after it asked for the next CD. The cd rom was plugged into an SB600 controlled sata port so I thought maybe it was interfering with the raid setup. Switched the cd rom to a promise sata port and xp refused to boot anymore.
Its now been about 2 weeks since then. I've played around with this new computer everyday I'm off work and it will not let me install xp sp 2. RAID 0 setup on SB600 or Promise controller, standard IDE settings on SB600, no cdrom attached to internal sata ports (used an external usb one). No matter the configuration XP either freezes during the boot screen after the initial install restart or makes it into the second half of installation (after reboot) and gives a validation error of some sort.
I also have a copy of ubuntu 8.04 that I've tried installing with no success, though that may be my lack of experience with using linux.
The only OS i've installed successfully so far is Win2K on straight IDE, didn't bother trying on a RAID.
I've given up on trying to install on a RAID array. It requires the extra drivers and creates more problems, and from what I've read on other posts here won't give me much performance boost with just the two drives anyway.
As of posting this I'm running seatools on my harddrives and fully erasing the hard drive I've been trying to install on so many times.
Thanks for any input you may have for my problems and let me know if you need any more info!
~ JeromeAlright, finally got the new PSU on Wed. Ended up going with the Corsair 750tx. Better to have extra power than not enough and maybe something to use in a future build.
Had to wait a few days before I had the time to put it in but it fit in the case just fine. Plenty of connectors with the nice shrink-net wrapping around the wires. Plugged it in and turned it on.. nothing. After messing around a few minutes I discovered the power cable that it shipped with was a dud. Luckily I have a few spare ones and used an old. Ok, now the power's running fine.
By this time I had stripped down the new build to the bare and basic essentials. IDE HD and cd rom drive, floppy and one of the nvidia cards from my last computer that had SLI running. Put in the XP install disc, formatted, first part of install went fine. After reboot to finish installs once again the computer crashed with BSOD. Multiple reboots did the same with various different BSOD stop messages.
After searching MS's website for the meanings of the errors I came across a post on another website telling of hitting F5 during install of XP. I'd heard of using F6 for installing third party drivers but not what F5 was for. Further searching on microsoft.com showed that hitting F5 at the start of an XP install allows you to force a Hardware Abstraction Layer. If you have an ACPI capable motherboard XP installer does not always detect this (or ever in my case) the F5 menu allows you to choose it, along with other types of systems. So I chose ACPI PC as my option, finished out setup and rebooted. Crossing my fingers once again as XP tries its first load and.. Wah Lah! I have a functional OS at last on this baby.
Thanks to all for your help in this trying time My slight headache of the last 3 weeks is now gone!
For anyone who has trouble getting xp to install and receives multiple different stop errors I'd suggest looking into the F5 function. -

MSI MEGA PC 865
windows 98 XP whith SP2
I too have this exact same issue. The play, stop, forward, reverse buttons don't do anything, and also the sound buttons, they activate the volume window but not adjustment of the volume happens. The only buttons that work are the opening of applications and the power button. All this happened after I installed some free updating software for some other paid and free applications I have (Advanced SystemCare Professional), all quite legitiment, as a result there were corrupt icons and I had to uninstall the offending software and some corrupted software including Microsoft Office beta and reinstall... no viruses were found on a full Zonealarm scan. I have the DV6-2113TX on Win-7. If ANYONE has a clue how to fix the full functionality of the remote, please let me know as it's really niggling me that it just doesn't work even after reinstalling the drivers for the IR etc.
I tried contacting HP online and I get NO replies. I am yet to phone. It is still under warranty with 20 months left (8 months manufacturer, 12 months supplier).
cheers

How did my desktop appear on another computer after Leopard install?
I have a Mac G5 connected by ethernet to a cable company. I bought a MacBook for Chicago which is 2,000 miles away. After upgrading my G5 with Leopard I physically took the Leopard CD to Chicago and installed it on my MacBook in Chicago where I have wireless (router) After the install, my desktop was duplicated on this MacBook from the G5 in California. I never had these two computers connected, nor have I ever done a file sharing manipulation between these two computers.
One of the files on the desk top on my MacBook, when opened reveals all my files just like the one in CA except I can't open any of them because the program cannot be found. That is not suprising at all because I never installed any of these programs.
One program did open and can be used however and that is PhotoShop which I use lot on my G5. I never installed that program on my MacBook.
How did this stuff get on my MacBook? I believe there is a bug in the Leopard CD that performs all the functions I could do manually to get this desk top to duplicate.
What do you say?Lizard33, Welcome to the discussion area!
Do you have a .Mac account? If so you are probably seeing the new Leopard "Back to My Mac" feature in operation.
