LDAP object classes for user creation

Hello,
I use a remote LDAP for authentication, works fine. However, i want of copy some attributes from the remote LDAP into the dynamically created user profile. This works fine as long as the attributes are par5t of the standard object classes. The remote LDAP has an extra, site specific, object class for users. Since i want to use the same attribute names i added the schema extension (1 object class with a couple of attributes) to the AM LDAP. So far so good.
My question is: How do i specify the additional object class to be added to the user which is dynamicaly created?

Robert,
To resolve this, I believe that you will need to add the new objectclass to the "LDAP User Object Classes" field on the LDAP Data Store. You will also need to add the attributes to "LDAP User Attributes" on the same tab.

Raghu,
Object Class violations occur when you try to add an attribute (that is, assign a value) that is not supported by the object classes specified in your ToLDAP pass.
Try disabling all non-mandatory attributes and then re-enabling one at a time until you get the error. This is your offending attribute. You might also google for the schemas of the objectclasses you are using to get the same information.
If the attribute you are trying to add does not exist in any objectclass then you will need to extend the objectclass schema.

Suddenly when I am login in Portal with J2EE_ADMIN or any user , I am getting error
You are not authorized to access this application; contact your system administrator
and when I am going to create user in identity management I am getting below error
Current user has user creation permissions in the UME, but cannot create users in the back-end system (data source). The original and possibly untranslated message was: "No active writeable datasource found for user creation, check your Persistence Configuration.".
I have searched all related treads in SDN but no success

Dear all,
I was searching the community because I had this same error and there was no answer of how it was fixed. So I'm sending how I fixed today in a customer environment.
1. Go to portal http://<portal>/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/tcsecumewdumeadmin/UmeAdminApp
- select configuration
- folder "sap system based in abap"
- do the conection test
If the test fails, log on in client 001 and change user SAPJSF:
- assign role SAP_BC_JSF_COMMUNICATION (only this one) and one profile that has permission to RFC logon
- you can change the password too
STOP/START ABAP+JAVA
Go again to the portal above and test connection again. The tests should now be OK.
2. Go to portal http://<portal>/irj
- Log on with administrator user
Now you should be able to create an user.

How to create object class for a z table

Hi All,
I have a z table and I want to register the changes of fields should be logged to CDHDR and CDPOS table.
Is this possible?
If yes how can I creat an object class for a z table. I have already checked the change document option in z data element.
Please help.

Tcode SCDO. You'll need to create a change document for you Z table and then use the FM created to record the changed data.

Workflow for User Creation

Hi
I would like to implement the Work Flow for User Creation, i.e.whenever the admin creates the user id, it should go to manager for approval and after that it pwd should be delivered to the respective user.
Can any one guide me on how to implement the same. Also I would like to know the use of customisation under Set Approval Indicator in IMG settings.

Object class for object id 'ADRNR'

How can iget teh value of object class for object id 'ADRNR'. i tried to see teh contents in CDHDR but there are no entries in the dev and QA box either.

Iam working on change pointers for the Material.
In BD52 transaction iam able to enter some fieds for the material.
But i need to enter Material Classication, and i found AUSP-ATWRT field.
Now, i want to pass this table & field into BD52 transaction. But it is asking Object Class for AUSP.
I know Object class for the table MARA ( is Material)

Needed urgent help for user creation in security manager in ODI 11g

Hi Gurus,
I have an urgent requirement in ODI security manager and i am completely helpless. We need specific steps for the user creation with sufficient priviledges. The detailed requirements are:
1. There is a group of users under the framework team and these users should be able to edit the Knowledge modules only. All other objects (e.g. projects, interface, procedures or development related objects) should only be in read only mode for them.
2. There is a group of users under the development team. The priviledges of these users should be mutually exclusive to that of the framework team users. i.e. the development team should be able to edit or delete all development related objects (e.g. projects, interface, proc etc.) but the knowledge modules should only be in read only mode for them.
Now I will explain what i have tried out:
I am working on ODI 11.1.1.5.
I have created a user with NG DESIGNER and CONNECT profile. Dragged and dropped all the projects on the user and selected all methods in all repositories (check sign). However when i connect with that user i cannot open the KMs (as far as development team is concerned its fine) but i can also not open interfaces as well as procedures (which is not acceptable from development point of view).
Also when i tried creating a user from the framework team point of view i could not see any option related to KMs (To give edit priviledge).
Please help me out guys. I have also searched oracle documentation and believe me the security manager section is not very good. If you guys can help me out with specific steps it would be great (I have tried the hints given in oracle documentation and they dont work, the ODI security manager behaves strangely :-(

Similar requirement here guys. Any pointers. I was able to achieve this by restricting development user from supervisor access. In that case the development user can not edit the interfaces. Any known defefct?

Necessary to Remember 4 Things. That are mentioned below.
1) Register User Define Table (UDT) with using "Object Registration Wizard". For Example : @object_type = 'Z_Roto'
2) When you define selection criteria then it must be compulsory for use Code Field. For Example : Select T0.Code from [@Z_Roto]
3) When you define selection criteria then it must be compulsory for use Code for @list_of_cols_val_tab_del.
4) Use error code as 10 Number

Needed object class for Reconciliation of OID groups?

Hi,
When I run OID Connector Gruop Lookup Reconciliation I only get the groups thath have the object class *'groupOfUniqueNames'*. All rest of groups are note reconcilied into the Lookup.OID.Group Lookup.
The problem is that I can´t modify all those groups that haven't this object class.
The groups that I can get actually have this object classes:
top
groupOfNames
it's possible to modify OID Connector Gruop Lookup Reconciliation to get all groups???

Its a matter of setting the right ldap filter in the scheduled task . Find out what is required to fetch all the groups from OID using ldap browser or something else .
And then simply use the same ldap filter in OID Group look up recon ST.

I wonder where I can translate the objects class (SU21 - auth objects). I manages to find where I can translate the authorization objects in SE63.
What what is the object type for the objects class in order to translate it.

SAP itself told me there is no way to do so. They recommend to directly edit the corresponding text table.

The "Provision ABAP user" is an ordered task group which contains the logic to provision users correctly to the ABAP depending on what happened before (user creation, user or group changings).

C++ - Unable to load class for user type- ClassNotFoundException

I'm getting ClassNotFoundException when i try to start the coherence server. I've no clue to solve it.

i'm using POF serializer and registering the class using the macro

i read some posts saying we need java wrapper for this? is that true, do we need java wrapper for all the c++classes that we register.

Hi Mark,
i did go thru' the thread and understood that no "pof " mentioning in the cache xml file. I removed the pof config details from the cache xml config file and registersd the c++ class using the macro.
after these, iwas able to start the extended proxy server from consol:

Pls can you suggest something, greatly appreciated in advance.
althouh i did observe one thing,, when i start the service from console, the ip is different. But from the program, it displays the different ip that it looks for connection and fails.

Create an Approval Workflow for User Creation in AD

Hi
Anyone, tell me how to create an approval workflow to create users into AD. For example, before provisioning user into AD resouce the request should go to the Manager of the user for approval.
P.S: I am using OIM 9.1

Hi Sireesha
You want to create a new Process definition, selecting "Approval" as the process type.
Then associate it with the AD User Resource Object. Add a "Manager Approval" process task and use a Task Assignment Adapter to to assign the task to the manager of the request target.
In order for the Approval Process to fire, you need to ensure that you provision the AD User Resource Object via a Request, rather than directly.
