LE 8 Incomplete Plugins?

I Installed LE 8.0.2 about a month ago. I'm new to the program, but mostly everything seems to be working fine. But I'm puzzled that some plugins seem to be incomplete or missing. For example, the Guitar Rig interface opens up, but there are no preset banks available, they're all blank - and none of the controls work. Likewise with the Guitar Amp Pro modeler - the top controls (gain, bass, mids, etc.) all work fine, but the bottom (FX) controls (tremolo, reverb) are marked "disabled" when I click on them. Does this sound like a bug or bad install? Thx.

Re Guitar Rig problem you should either consult its own manual, or go to Native Instruments discussion board, because it's a NI plugin and they should support it...
As for Guitar Amp Pro, it's not a bug, nor a bad install. To enable FX sections there you have to switch them on first by clicking an on/off button in the bottom left corner of each FX section (the button will then be highlighted in orange colour, the same as FX controls). After that you can tweak Amp's FX.

Incomplete UAD plugins in CS6

Hi. I am having an issue with my UAD vst plugins not scanning/showing up fully in Audition CS6. Alomst 75% load alphabetically, but the full feature set will not. I have tried rescanning as a system admin, and have uninstalled and reinstalled the program. Previously they loaded with no issue in CS5.5. Any guidance is appreciated.

Can you tell me if you are using Windows or Mac? And which version of the operating system?
Are you using UAD 1 or 2 and what version of the UAD software? Can you attach a screen shot of your UAD effects submenu's in both CS5.5 and CS6 so I can compare to the my systems?
We have changed the way we organize effects menu in Audition between CS5.5 and CS6 that might make the effects appear in different sub-menus.
First, we removed the strict channelization requirements, so it is no longer necessary to have the menu's broken into Mono, Stereo, 5.1, 7.1, and Other sub menus. This allows the mono and stereo effects to be listed right next to each other, and will appear different than CS5.5.
Second, we added the Category sub-menu, which will place effects into sub-categories based on type. Example: All compressors will be placed into the Dynamics sub-menu (if the plug-in manufacture added that meta-data to the plug-in). This would cause some effect to be in different locations by default then they were in Audition CS5.5.
Third, we allowed the user to organize the effects menu 5 different ways: None, Vendor, Category, Vendor then Category, and Category then Vendor. This allow you to select how you have your effects organized in the effect menu. Setting this back to the way CS5.5 did it will allow you to more easily see if the effects at truly missing or just in a different sub-menu. The default for CS6 is Category then Vendor. The closest match to CS5.5 is the Vendor selection. This can be found in "Preferences>Effects>Sort Effects Menu By:".
If you find that the plug-ins really are missing and not just in a new sub-menu, can you clear the CS6 prefs, launch and scan again to see if all of the plugins show up?

How can I get the rest of my third party audio plugins (UAD & Altiverb) to show up in FCPX

Hello Everyone,
In FCPX'as audio effects I can see the Logic (included with FCPX) plugins, as well as my own Celemony (Melodyne) & PSP Audioware plugins. However, my UAD plugins and Altiverb are not there. How do I get FCPX to see my other audio plugins that are also currently on my machine?

Too many http plugin sessions seen in SM04

Hi,
There are too many http plugin sessions created in SM04 in production system for a custom transaction.
The client claims that such multiple sessions are there only for this particular transaction so there is some problem in abap code of this z-transaction.
Could you please help, what abap syntax or logic might lead to creation of such multiple http plugin sessions for the transaction.
The only known reason is that incomplete log off by user (closing the browser w/o loggin off etc) which created sombie sessions - but this is not applicable here because there are about 30 sessions created and user certainly does not log off so many times. Other activity by user is browser refresh etc but that canot be applied to only this particular transaction.

We are having a same problem but SAP asked us to recreate it. It is completely random and happens very rarely. If I would know how to recreate it I would probably solve it myself

Hi,
     I think you need to add the jar file for Dynpage. Use the jarfinder to find the jar and add it to your project.

Kodo 3.1.4 and Eclipse plugin

I'm currently migrating from Kodo 2.5.3 to Kodo 3.1.4, and as I'm using
Eclipse have decided to give the Eclipse plugin a go. I've followed the
documentation (@15.6), and am now attempting the Eclipse Sample from the
documentation (@15.6.4). The documentation has seemed slightly incomplete,
but I assume that's just me using Eclipse 3.0 with the doumentation being
written for WSAD 4.
However, when I clean the project or run the enhancer I get the following
error:

This message doesn't seem to be giving me any info that would help me

What is the simplest way to invoke the command associated with an existing menu item from a plugin?

My specific task is to bring forward the "Swatches" window. I want to initiate this from my plugin code (C++). However, I may want to execute other menu items in the future, so understanding the simplest, most straightforward general mechanism would be great.
I've pieced together a sequence that could work using the Menu and Interface suites, but it seems more complicated than it should be and requires knowledge of the localized name of the menu item (incomplete and uncompiled sample code below). Is there a better way to do this?

That's a clever solution to a problem I'd never considered (but can see how others might need it) I can't think of a better way to invoke it though than what you're doing except maybe with some minor improvements. If you know the menu group, you can use AIMenuSuite::GetMenuGroupRange() to jump to that group in the overall list. Also, since menuitems seem extremely unlikely to change, you can probably cache the handle.
Beyond that, the usual suggestion I'd make it is to at least explore actions. Try recording an action and see if it even picks up when you display the Swatches panel. I'm guessing it doesn't record stuff like that, but who knows?

Drop down lists are incomplete on various websites

I'm coming across websites where the drop down lists (eg for what state you live in) are incomplete. It works fine in every other browser I've tried.
Here's an easy page to test the problem on: https://www.bankofamerica.com/
The problem occurs on Bank of America's main page, in the upper left where you select a location it only lists about half the states and there's no scroll bar.
Problem also occurs in safe mode.
Clunky and counter-intuitive workaround is to use down arrow key to navigate to other state names.
Basically, I'm using Safari for more and more sites.

At least you have a workaround in that the arrow key works.
Quick check 
Before looking for deeper problems let's not overlook the obvious common solution cookies or cache.
*Reload using (Mac equivalent of Cmd+f5) Ctrl+ Shift+R. If that does not help Close all tabs except a final one relating to the problem site and:

This is likely to need help from other Mac users to discover what it affects. There have been reported problems with scrolling but that usually seems to relate to touch-screens &/or scrolling of Windows not the dropdown lists.

It seems possible that the problem will be with your particular install, because, otherwise there would be noticeable reporting of problems. Half of Mac users of Bank Of America for instance would likely have internet banking services fail.
You have already discovered it may be Firefox & OS X version dependent, although of course it could be other factors that differ in the other machines. Try to compare the setups for any other differences and clues.

The D610 needs ACR 8.3 so you are easily covered there. I am not entirely clear on the process you are using the bring the files onto your hard drive. The safest way is to simply bring all the NEF files into a folder on your hard drive, then find them with bridge and open from there.
If still stuck, open Photoshop, and go Help > About plugins > Camera RAW and check that 8.7 installed OK.

Hunting down incomplete Path in a layer...???

I am currently tracing a piece of my artwork in CS3 and have multiple little pen tool objects that some of which are not complete paths. Consequently, I am not able to perform a compound path out of the two layers I have created and receive the message "Can't make a compound path. All objects in the compund path must be paths..... Is there a too in Illustrated that can hunt down incomplete paths in a layer?? Thank You!! Brian

Go get Rick Johnson's (http://rj-graffix.com) Select plugin. It will give you a list of Object types which can be selected much larger than the stock installation.

Incomplete Clip In Sony EX 1 Transfer

Hi there I'm not sure if this is a Final Cut problem but I shot in Sony EX 1 and it wont let me import a clip as it says incomplete on the EX1 Transfer Program. I need this shot though as someone get shot.

the SxS card will slot straight into the ExpressCard/34 slot on your MBP
you will need the SxS device driver from Sony's website
you will also want Sony's XDCAM Transfer software which is far superior than using the XDCAM EX Log and Transfer plugin for FCP
you might also need or want the XDCAM EX Clip Browser app.

How to deploy the sample plugins

I am new to Oracle Enterprise Manager. I have got the setup running. Now, I want to deploy the plugins available under the samples. Can someone tell me the process to do the same. Although there is a readme.txt which has some instructions, I find that that instructions themselves are probably incomplete, it talks about emcli which I had to download and install. Can someone help me build and deploy the plugins in the OEM and see how they work or point me to the right documentation.

Finally I was successfully able to create the plugin archive:
Here are the steps I followed:
Login as oracle user
Download the EDK from setup -> Extensibility -> Development Kit and unpack the zip archive under the same user credentials
If it happens to be any other user you will end up with the same issues as above (and you will have no clue over the error similar as me ).
set the JAVA_HOME to the JDK
Follow the steps of files to copy as given in the README for the sample for which you are going to run create_plugin on
Now go into the bin directory of the edk and execute the command

Unable to capture startup and shutdown event of Photoshop in automation Plugin.

Hi,
I am creating an automation plugin and I want to register some events. I have seen listener plugin sample to register event in startup and unregister event in shutdown. I have used same code in my plugin but I am unable to capture the startup nad shutdown event of Photoshop. On clicking the menu item of my plugin the calls come inside the AutoPluginMain but during the startup or shutdown of plugin, the calls does not come inside the AutoPluginMain.
I am unable to detect the cause of the problem. Can someone please giude me??

Thanks for the suggestion.
Yes, I am working on Windows. As you suggested, I compiled .rc file but the compile option for .r file was disabled. After compiling the .rc file, I again rebuild the complete project and tested my build. But still I was not able to achive the desired result.
Any other thing that I need to do to make it work?
