Lead / Cycle time for procurement

Hi,
Is there a T Code which gives me the lead time / cycle time for the complete process from PR-PO-GR. Or I need to develop a report. FS for any Report developped will be appreciated.
Regards,
Anubhav

As per your reqs, there is no such report exist in the system. you have to create the custom report

  • Lead Time for Procurement Materials

    Hi Gurus,
Can you elaborate on hierarchy for procurement lead time materials. If there is lead time given in Material Master as well as Info record and Source List. Then which lead time will be considered by the system for procurement?
Also clarify what is the significance of Source list for Material Master?
    Regards,
    Pradeep

    Hi
System takes more priority for lead time mainatained in Info record ahead of material master's planned delivery time. Along with planned delivery time, purchase processing time maintained in OMEW and GR processing time in Material master.
Source list defines the vendor/list of vendor who supply material for a plant in the given validity period. A vendor can be fixed or blocked. FIxed vendor makes MRP to create source assigned PO. later it can be made as PO automatically.Scheduling agreement with sourcelist and MRP relevency indicator 2 can give automatic schedule line.

  • Time for more RAM: OWC, Patriot, others?

    Hi all,
I recently upgraded from a 400 MHz G3 PowerBook with 1 GB RAM running 10.4.11 to a 2011 MBP with 4 GB running 10.6.7. Even with 4x the RAM, it seems to run out of free memory at about the same level of usage as my old system. I think the easiest solution is to throw more memory at it.
Does anyone have experience with either of these?
    Patriot PSD38G1333SK
    http://www.patriotmemory.com/products/detailp.jsp?prodline=3&catid=34&prodgroupi d=77&id=960&type=5
    OWC 1333DDR3S08S
    http://eshop.macsales.com/item/Other%20World%20Computing/1333DDR3S08S/
The spec sheet seem to report different things, like cycle time for OWC vs. refresh interval for Patriot. OWC specifies that it is 64-bit wide memory, while Patriot does not, though I would assume that the SODIMM pinout spec dictates that.
Does it matter much, or does it come down to price?
    Thanks,
    Scott

Just want to throw my $0.02 in on the Patriot PSD38G1333SK modules.
I just picked it up at Fry's for $89 (no rebate). Crucial was a little cheaper but only by $8 and I didn't want to wait for shipping.
The Patriot looks to be running smoothly. When I first installed it, I ran AHT for three cycles (1 Quick, then 2 Extended)--all passed OK.
CAS 9 latency on the Patriot modules, same as the Hynix modules that came with the i7 2.2Ghz MBP I just bought on Monday.
The speed difference is noticeable on bootup only, it shaved off probably 4-6sec approximately. I'm still running the stock 5400RPM Toshiba for now but the speed difference is pretty outstanding.

  • How to read out message cycle time from Vector CANdb file?

    Hello LabVIEW friends,
I tried to open a Vector CAN Database (*.dbc) using the NI-CAN 2.3.2 Channel API and read out the cycle time of a message.
The CAN get property.vi should provide the sample rate which is described as followed:
Input parameter of the CAN Init Start function.
    The sample rate specifies
whether to transfer data in a periodic or event-driven manner.
    For periodic
behavior, the rate specifies the number of read/write samples to perform per
    second.
But for all messages in my database I get the value 0.
When I connect a sample rate to the CAN Initialize.vi I will get it's value.
    Could anybody help?
    Thank You.
    Greets,
    Marcus

    Hi,
unfortunately there is no way to use the cycle time property from your DBC file, because the NI driver is not able to read this information.
This is because the cycletime is stored in different places for different users and only Vector itself can read this information back.
In your case, you have to figure out this information by yourself and you can use the sample rate input of the init or initstart function to configure the cycle time in Hz.
If you need different cycle times for different messages, see the attached example.

  • Lead time for Purchase items

I had read that Lead time for Purchased items is calculated per 7 working days / week, by default. However, when I checked this, I found that the MRP planned orders were always considering our mfg calendar that has 5 working days / week.
    Anyone tried this.

Industries & Product which have stabilsed have the same measuring yard and standards. This is also applicable for calendar working days, otherwise we need to device the 'interface' because the results would be weird, specifically when we speak of 'supply chain'.

  • Lead time for POs

hello, I am new to this bog, but can anyone help me with a t-code for getting the lead time (planned delivery time) report i.e. how can we identify if a PO has materials with longer lead times for a set of purchasers/vendors ?

We experienced such a problem ... using only BEx functionalitites means (at the end) using Virtual KF ...
Considering the complexity calculation to be made this is a time consuming approach that has even an high response time (in terms on minutes ... depending on the amount of data)
During Data Load create two more technical KFs to store intermediate values of the formula (X^2 and a counter ...): this because of the fact that BEx formulas work AFTER Aggregation.
    Hope it helps

  • Lead Time for manufacturing and its corresponding Quantity in Material Mast

    Hi all ,
Do we have any feilds in SAP Material Master
    which are useful for
    1) Lead Time for manufacturing
    2) Manfactured Lead Time Quantity
if the mateials are produced inhouse.
    thanks
    ksr

    Dear,
There are no such a fields in material master, But in MRP 3 view you will get theotal replenishment lead time field.
Which use for the produced in-house if the replenishment lead time is included in the availability check:
This is nothing but the  in-house production time and, if available, the goods receipt processing time.
Also refer this link to calculate the in-house production time correctly,

  • Lead Time for Purchasing Material & Manufacturing Material

The query is related to the process of Material Requisition planning.
I need to know from where exactly the system picks up the lead time for generating Purchase requistions?
    - For purchased material (lead time from placing order to actual recipt of material, time needed for QC checking till its release)
    - For own manufactured material (lead time at each work center in the recipe along with actual time required for a particular process)

    Hi
for your information for  any material the data for the lead time comes from the material master
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_46c/helpdata/en/fd/45b7ee9d6411d189b60000e829fbbd/frameset.htm
if you click on the link you can get the entire process.
as you can see SAP picks up the deatil from the MRP2 view of the material master.
    hope this  is helpful.

  • Question about lead in music for podcasting.

Question about lead in music for podcasting.
I listen to many other podcasts and there are those which play lead in music with bit of music inside their podcast. The music are songs we all know and enjoy. I have notice that they only play short small clips of these songs and are not royalty free songs.
My Question would be is there a limit of time which you can play any song with out paying for it and use it in a podcast legally.
    Thanks Mike

Legally you cannot use copyright music without written permission or a licence from a recognized authority, no matter how short the clip. Many people do this and get away with it (and for full tracks too) and it's debatable how much notice anyone is likely to take, or whether they would be bothered about a short clip. But the legal position is, it's not legal.

  • Time for a new battery or something worse?

I have a 17 inch MBP which I think is great.
However in the last few weeks the mechine will not work from the battery despite it showing as being fully charged. As soon as the powersupply is removed....nothing. Pressing the power button to restart sounds like the mechine is trying to restart but then imediatly has the power cut.
I hope this makes some sence to some one?
    The battery details are below.
    Battery Information:
      Model Information:
      Device Name:          CL5189
      Pack Lot Code:          0
      PCB Lot Code:          0
      Firmware Version:          0
      Hardware Revision:          0
      Cell Revision:          0
      Charge Information:
      Charge Remaining (mAh):          5244
      Fully Charged:          Yes
      Charging:          No
      Full Charge Capacity (mAh):          5251
      Health Information:
      Cycle Count:          236
      Condition:          Normal
      Battery Installed:          Yes
      Amperage (mA):          -1
      Voltage (mV):          12470
I am hoping it is just time for a new battery but can anyone think of another reason this will happen.
The mechine has NOT been dropped and nothing has been spilt on it.
    many thanks

  • Time for a new battery (or more) for  iBook G4?

I have a 3 1/2 year old 14" ibook G4 - I have the original battery (possible clue?) and before it became completely unresponsive to powering up, it would suddenly turn off, even with the power adapter plugged in. I've tried all the things Apple recommends - removing and reinserting the battery, resetting the PMU using the SCOP keystrokes, removing the battery while plugging in the adapter, and removing the adapter and trying to start on battery power only, and all permutations of the above. Nada. No chime, start up screen, or whirring fan...Silence.
When the adapter is plugged into the iBook, the color is orange, even after ~ 15 hours of charging.
Is it time for a new battery, adapter, DC in board?

Well, the story is a little different now. At first, when I got a new battery - from OWC, when I used the ac adapter, the computer would start up, but even after 12 hours of charging, the battery indicator was at 0% charged, and after 2 or 3 cycles of turning the machine on and off, it eventually wouldn't turn on at all, even with the ac adapter plugged in. so I bought a new ac adapter, and it will turn on , but the battery indicator still says 0% charged. Just to verify if the battery was indeed not charged, I unplugged the ac adapter and the computer would not turn on at all.
So for now, I have a laptop with a new battery and a new ac adapter that will only work if the ac adapter is plugged in, and the battery appears to not be able to charge.
    Question:
Is it time for a new Dc-in board, just leave well enough alone and run off the adapter, get a new computer or????

  • FM - Budget check at the time of procurement and at the time of Issue

    Hi
For a Material there is a budget for a procurement ( Check should happen at the time of procurement and a seperate budget for consumption ( Check should happen at the time of issue). How can I map this in FM- BCS.I am thinking of creating two commitmen items one for Procurement , to be derived thorugh matl grp at the time of PR / PO and  One commitment item for consumption to be derived through consumption GL . Does it work , any comments?
    Thanks in advance
    Chris

Yes you are right , I have to make to sure stock budget doesn't get credited.
If you remember in one of my other threads, i wanted to derive commitment item from Matl grp, it was for this purpose. I will derive commitment through matl group at the time of procurement / GR etc and assign a dummy commitment item to stock a/cs. Where as i will derive a consumption commiment item from consumption GLs.
    Thank you
    Chris

  • Time for a new battery?

I have a iPod video, I checked it's warranty date and it started in Jan. 2006, so it isn't THAT old. However, the iPod won't turn on. I charged it for at least 48 hours straight and there was still 0 battery life. After only 1 year, is it time for a new battery? And do I have to go to the Apple Store for that? And how much $ would it cost?
    Thanks

You can get Apple to replace the battery, though a 3rd party authorized repair place might do it cheaper...
You could try using the iPod updater to fully restore the original settings, just in case the iPod isn't properly managing power, but you probably have a bad battery. Be sure to read Apple's documentation on battery life. It basically says keep the iPod away from heat and be sure to exercise the battery--keeping it plugged in all the time will reduce it's life. I think they say something like the ideal is using the battery all day and charging it at night. ...as long as you never fully discharge it. There's also information like how many charge cycles the battery is supposed to have, etc.

  • Cycle count for serialized material

    Guys,
When we do cycle count for serialized items, it pop up to enter serial # when updating the count. Is there any BADI/User exist to skip this step in counting for serialized materials. We dont want to enter serial#, since volume is hugh and serial# is of less important, only count matters.
    Regards
    TGB

Once you active the series number, then all the material need marked and managed with series number.
and stock counting need under series number.
it will cost more time absolutely than no series number.
if you think the series number not important, you can Deactivate serial number.
But please note, the reason why you use serial number is to manage the material one by one against the series number.
    NOT just count the quantity.
