Lead Time for manufacturing and its corresponding Quantity in Material Mast

Hi all ,
Do we have any feilds in SAP Material Master
which are useful for
1) Lead Time for manufacturing
2) Manfactured Lead Time Quantity
if the mateials are produced inhouse.

Dear,
There are no such a fields in material master, But in MRP 3 view you will get theotal replenishment lead time field.
Which use for the produced in-house if the replenishment lead time is included in the availability check:
This is nothing but the in-house production time and, if available, the goods receipt processing time.
Also refer this link to calculate the in-house production time correctly,

hi Experts,
when we upload the opening material values, from where will it pick the values for SFG and FG.....is it from Material Master or from MR21.
I want to run Costing run and save the prices after uploading the opening balances and not before. will there be any financial entry if i run the costing run and save the prices and i m not making any material movements but just running the costing run.

Screen layout for pr and PO in respect to Material master

Dear Experts,
I know that we can control the screen layout display, optional... with respect to document type...
But there is one requirement... When there is BATCH activated for the material... in Material master( batch avl) the "batch" field in PR.....Item details >Material Data needs to be optional field.. (possible to enter value)..
When material is not not acivated for batch.. then that field to be Display only(Not possible to enter value)
pls guide me is this possible.. ?

This can be done with both customizing and specific developpement.
In SPRO: Materials Management/Purchasing/Purchase Order/Define Screen Layout at Document Level, you can define new fieldselection key (allways define new one as copy of standard in order to copy the document type).
Then you can define your own strategy to assign fieldselection key to a purchase order item in BADI ME_PROCESS_REQ_CUST method FIELDSELECTION_ITEM_REFKEYS according to the item data
This user exit allows you to had new fieldselection keys.
- CH_KEY0 is used for the transaction (in ME51N the fieldselection key is ME51N)
- CH_KEY1 is used for the activity (in creation mode the fieldselection key is AKTH)
- CH_KEY2 is used for the document type (defined in customizing for each document type)
- CH_KEY3 is used for the line type (if the item type is standard the fieldselection key is PT0B)
- CH_KEY4, CH_KEY5 and CH_KEY6 are free to use
Keep in mind that the system take the union of all fieldselection key. If a field is changeable in fieldselection ME52N and PT0B but not in AKTH then it will not be changeable.

Lead Time for Purchasing Material & Manufacturing Material

The query is related to the process of Material Requisition planning.
I need to know from where exactly the system picks up the lead time for generating Purchase requistions?
- For purchased material (lead time from placing order to actual recipt of material, time needed for QC checking till its release)
- For own manufactured material (lead time at each work center in the recipe along with actual time required for a particular process)

as you can see SAP picks up the deatil from the MRP2 view of the material master.

Get question id's and its corresponding answer id for given Doc id's

Hi,
I am trying to write a program which gets the Equality values (Questionaire - Erecruiting) like :
1) Gender
2) Care Resp
3) Care Type
4) Ethnic Origin
5) Religion
6) Disability
7) Sexual Orientation
8) Age Range
And move it to an internal table which has each Equality as a field.
I referred to the following tables in order to get the question id's and its corresponding answer id's for questionaire.
1) hrp5141
2) hrp5125
3)T77RCF_INFDAT
And i tried to fetch the equality data using the class CL_HRRCF_QA_BL. This class returns the values from hrp5141. It also returns the object id, answer id and answer text. CL_HRRCF_QA_BL class also intern calls the function module HRHAP_DOCUMENT_GET_DETAIL, which gets the set of questions and its answers. But this question id's and answer's differ for document id's (QA_DOC_GUID).
Here the problem is the object id for Doc id's (QA_DOC_GUID) are differing.
Example 1: I have taken first QA_DOC_GUID - BF2C554821CFBFF180C5DKDINGKGNSKE as input to check its question and answer using CL_HRRCF_QA_BL class.
The question id is here I am assuming is 20366558 and the corresponding answer id is 20368559 for Gender.
Example 2: I randomly picked one more QA_DOC_GUID - BAS06AE4533374F1B3CF0018F346808A. The question id here is 50368915 and answer id is 50368918 for gender which is different from the first example.
I am not able to decide on other fields as the answers for it could be generic viz., YES, NOT, Prefer not to answer etc. Whereas Gender holds the value of either Male, Female or Prefer not to answer, Religion holds Religion name or Prefer not to answer value and similarly Age holds the age range or Prefer not to answer value.
Can anybody suggest on how to get the equalities values (the question id's and its corresponding answer id's).

Lead time for Purchase items

I had read that Lead time for Purchased items is calculated per 7 working days / week, by default. However, when I checked this, I found that the MRP planned orders were always considering our mfg calendar that has 5 working days / week.
Anyone tried this.

Industries & Product which have stabilsed have the same measuring yard and standards. This is also applicable for calendar working days, otherwise we need to device the 'interface' because the results would be weird, specifically when we speak of 'supply chain'.

From which table check 'cost element' and its corresponding GL account?

May i know from which could i check the cost element field and its corresponding GL account field??
Questions:

Is below way correct:
From table CSKA, i could get the chart of accounts related with the cost elements.
Then from table SKA1, i could get the GL account according to chart of accounts field.
Then i got an relation between Cost element with GL account??

Could not locate the table, but could find that, if you come to transaction KA02, click on Environment - Display General Ledger account - In Chart of Account/ In Company Code option, then you can display the GL account for individual cost elements.

Lead time for POs

hello, I am new to this bog, but can anyone help me with a t-code for getting the lead time (planned delivery time) report i.e. how can we identify if a PO has materials with longer lead times for a set of purchasers/vendors ?

We experienced such a problem ... using only BEx functionalitites means (at the end) using Virtual KF ...
Considering the complexity calculation to be made this is a time consuming approach that has even an high response time (in terms on minutes ... depending on the amount of data)
During Data Load create two more technical KFs to store intermediate values of the formula (X^2 and a counter ...): this because of the fact that BEx formulas work AFTER Aggregation.

When trying to open "Design Time for Processes and Forms" in order to create a process, I get a dump.
Could you let me know what could be wrong ? config? etc..

I would also recommend to write the description into the meta data. This would allow to place a text frame above the image and it is possible to add meta information and file name automatically together with the image, when you place it or even in a prepared template.
Meta data information can be written easily in Bridge in the Meta File Workspace.

To prevent others from reading your mail, don't give them access to your account. If others need to use your computer for some reason, set up personal accounts, or a guest account, and switch to it before allowing them access. This is the simplest, and most effective, method.
Email message files can be read as plain text in TextEdit or any word processor.
To protect your email messages from being viewed by others while in your account, you would have to lock the folder, putting it into an encrypted disk image that required a password to be opened and mounted. You would have to double-click on the image and give your password to mount it before launching Mail then unmount it as soon as you're done. My guess is that you could replace the ~/Library/Mail folder with an alias pointing to the folder on the disk image.
It may work, but it seems like a lot of unnecessary hassle.

My battery runs low very fast (three hours). I looked in the usage settings and it seems the time for usage and stand-by are the same, allthough i did have my iphone on stand-by!! What can i do?

I have a problem with my iphone 4. Every few months my battery starts draining within a few hours. I have tried all kinds of battery saving tips, but they don't help. When i go to the settings/general/usage is can see that the time for Usage and Stand-by are the same, so my phone is fully on all the time this explains the draining. But in reallity i turn my phone to stand-by most of the time, i mean the screen is black and all???
The first and second time a had this problem, both a few months a part, i restored my phone and it was solved. This time i restored my phone but this did not help!! And restoring my phone every two months is not my preferd way of solving this problem.
Does anybody have an idea on how to solve this problem? can anybody help me?

Restoring is the answer. It sounds as if there is a rogue process constantly draining your battery.
The issue you face is that, if you restore your backup thereafter, you risk the problem coming straight back with your files.
Store your files individually and it is time to start fresh.

Create Adobe Form using Design Time for Processes and Forms

I done all the necessary setup of BADI ,class, interface and form.
I need the step to step guide where you create the adobe form using the Design Time for Processes and Forms. Anyone have any idea?

if you are a beginner and looking for basic examples to implement adobe forms there are lot of them in SDN, please search them.
