Leading zero no longer showing up for hour in clock.

I know this is a nitpick, but the leading zero for the hour no longer shows up in the menu bar clock no matter what the settings are. Also there is no option to display the date in numeric form.

Hello Ben:
I had not noticed that before, but I do see what you mean.
I have not played with it, but take a look at system preferences>date & time and then click on +"open language & text."+ Perhaps that might be a way to have the display change. As I said, I have not played with it since I am OK with the current display.

  • Help keeping leading zero String- Long

    Hello
    I wonder lets say I have a String "09090" how do I convert this String to a Long and keeping leading zero so the Long is 09090?
    /D_S

    Numeric types like Long (or long) are numbers, not strings, so they have no formatting notions like leading zeroes. If you want to maintain the string "09090" keep the string around, even if you have to parse it as well. By the way, you forgot to describe what your goal is, what you are trying to do and what it has to do with leading zeroes.
    One more: Why does this print false?
    System.out.println(07070 == 7070);Hint: this generates a compile-time error:
    System.out.println(09090 == 9090);

  • Why do app updates no longer show up for me in iTunes?

    Please don't stop reading, because I think my issue is different from similar ones I've found posts about.
    For the past week or so, I've been unable to update apps through iTunes. When I click "Check for Updates," it shows "Accessing iTunes Store" at the top of the screen, but after it finishes I never get a dialog box -- neither the dialog box saying there are new updates nor the one saying there are not. Also, I don't get the notification in the left hand column next to "Applications" that normally shows how many app updates are available. The latter point is what seems to distinguish my problem from the other posts I've seen, in which push notification seems to work but updating fails. I can't even see any updates in the first place -- and this occurs even when I can see from using the App Store on my iPhone that I have multiple updates available. And I have a lot of apps.
    I should add that this is especially mysterious because it is the only problem I am having with iTunes. I can still download NEW apps from the iTunes App Store, sync my iPhone, download podcasts, etc. I can also update Apps on my iPhone itself. My internet service is working fine. This problem began with the previous version of iTunes and has continued in iTunes 8.1.
    One final confession. A few weeks ago, I went through my Apps folder and deleted the non-current versions of all of my apps, hoping to save space on my old computer's hard drive. I don't think this is the cause of the problem, because app updating continued to work for a few weeks after that. But I mention it in the interest of full disclosure. But in addition to my main question, I'd be interested in knowing if this is a bad idea for future reference.
    I am running iTunes 8.1.0.51 on Windows XP Home edition (SP 3), and I have a first-generation 4GB iPhone.
    Can anyone help?
    Thanks very much!

    ell, exactly same problem here: could not have been described better. It all started when I noticed that I could no longer update iPhone apps. "Applications" folder under Library showed such updates awaiting downloading: I could not get any further.
    AND SUDDENLY, for no reason, the "Application" in iTunes "Library" disappears! No folder visible, no apps listing, no updates mentioned. Wow!
    i had contacted Apple's iTunesStoreSupport in regard to the initial incident, and was kindly informed that:
    +"Dear Roger,+
    +Thank you for contacting iTunes Store Customer Support for assistance. I understand that you are receiving intermittent connection errors using iTunes 8.1.+
    +Apple is currently working toward a resolution for the issue you have reported. You will receive an email after the matter has been investigated and further information is available.+
    +Thank you very much for your patience, and I am sorry for any delay in enjoyment of your iTunes experience. Finding a solution for you is important to me.+
    +Remember, we wish your iTunes experience to be truly enjoyable. Take care, and thank you for being a valued iTunes Store customer. Your business is most appreciated.+
    +Best regards"+
    I thus figured that in some way "all was in control"... Until the Applications forum disappeared. Apps gone??? Are they stored somewhere on my Mac??
    I have just emailed an update incident report to iTunesStoreSupport with screen prints to show abrupt, undesired change.

  • The Availability In North America No Longer Shows Cyan For Verizon

    The page now just shows the firmware/OS by phone and carrier.  For all Verizon phones it is Lumia Black Windows 8.  They have reconfigured the page.to eliminate the update status column.

    I got the update on Saturday (12/20/14) for my Lumia 822.  It was a two-step process.  First upgrade to an interim version of Windows 8.0, then upgrade again to Windows 8.1, Update 1.
    Both upgrades to quite a bit of time.  About 90 minutes for the upgrade to the interim version of Windows 8.0, then two plus HOURS to upgrade to Windows 8.1, Update 1.  (Not sure the exact time, since after the two hours mark I left home and came back 6 hours later to find my Lumia 822 was successfully upgraded to Windows Phone 8.1, Update 1.

  • Firefox no longer shows pictures for any website I go to. All graphics are gone. I tried using another browser and I am able to get pictures. I really like Firefox and want to be able to use it. This is for a pc.

    About 10 days ago Firefox started to show only some pictures that should be on website--shopping sites or any other. After a few more day it now shows no pictures or graphics at all. It makes it almost impossible to use. I can see text, but it is rearranged on pages. Can't see buttons to click on etc.

    Not sure from your example but it appears that the address doesn't have a full domain, i.e., the part between http:// and the next / is not a valid internet domain name, e.g.,
    http://sometext-webproxy/
    In that case, it's probably something running on your computer, either as part of your security software, or as a Firefox add-on, or malware.
    A standard diagnostic to bypass interference by extensions (and some custom settings) is to try Firefox's Safe Mode.
    First, I recommend backing up your Firefox settings in case something goes wrong. See [[Backing up your information]]. (You can copy your entire Firefox profile folder somewhere outside of the Mozilla folder.)
    Next, restart Firefox in Firefox's Safe Mode ([[Safe Mode]]) using
    Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
    In the dialog, click "Start in Safe Mode."
    If you can access sites normally, this points to one of your extensions or custom settings as the problem.
    To also disable plugins, you can try here:
    orange Firefox button ''or'' classic Tools menu > Add-ons > Plugins category
    Any change?

  • Leading zero issue in Report

    Hi Xperts,
    i have report which has Plant ,Batch and Material.
    Now we found that the Batch that start with "0"  no longer has the leading zeros in the report.
    For Exp:
    Plant-X    Material-123     Batch-0012345
    But in report it is showing,
    Plant-X    Material-123     Batch-12345
    As i have checked in the respective Table and in Cube the batch Number (0012345)  is coming correctly with the leading zero.
    but why the leading zero is not showing in my report.
    Could any one please help me on this issue?

    If your requirement is to show the leading zeros for the Batach, then i will suggest you to redesign the batch infoobject with the compunding objects of material and plant.
    You have another option like to display the batch from master data in your report by making it as anavigantional attribute in your cube.
    We do have the similar requirement and our business prefered to have Batch compunded with material and plant. Check with your Business and go aheead with the changes.
    Hope this helps.

  • SD Document flow with Leading zeros

    Hi All,
    We have issue with docuemnt flow, when we click document flow sales order or delivery or billing its showing leading zeros, My client  don't want any leading zeros in docuemnt flow.
    For example -
    if i click on document flow its showing - 00500005 (SO ) 008000674 -Delivery - - Billing - 0090000012,
    Can any other guide us what could be a issue with leading zeros or any config setting is missing.
    Regards
    Nishad

    dear friend,
    it depends on how do you set up the number ranges
    for example, run VN01 and look how your sales orders are numbered.
    regards,
    p.s. create a new number range without leading zeroes and test it
    but i suggest you will not change the current settings , it is 'too late' , so tell your client it is standard

  • Leading Zero in CSV File

    Hello,
    I have a report which shows the customer details and the report is working fine, but when I download this report to CSV format the leading zeros doesn't show up on the Customer_ID.
    How do I fix this? Please Advice..Thank you.
    - Abhi.

    The problem is with Excel reading the CSV file. It considers fields with leading zeros to be numeric, not string, and thus removes the leading zeros.
    One of the simpler cheats is to put a single quote in front of the leading zeros. The leading zeros remain, but so does the single quote until the user goes into each cell and hits the [Enter] key.
    Another option is to push the data into an excel spreadsheet right in PeopleSoft and deliver it to the user (binary operation, not CSV). Look at the query viewer for examples on how this is done with existing query results.

  • Add leading zero to matnr in a conversion program

    Hi All,
    When uploading matnr from a text legacy file , should i add leading zeroes to the sku value. For ex the data from the lagacy is 1000123456 (10 digits length). The values are always numbers. The matnr in SAP is 18 chars. Should my program transform it into 000000001000123456 before saving it into mara-matnr?
    Regards, Oli

    Are you sure that in configuration, the Indicator for lexicographical material numbers is unchecked?  If it checked, then SAP will not then the all numeric material numbers will not get leading zeros by default.   =====>
    Indicator for lexicographical material numbers
    Defines the way numeric material numbers are stored in the database.
    Use
    Caution
    It is only possible to set or reset (cancel) this indicator if no numeric material numbers have been used yet in the system since they would no longer be interpretable after setting or resetting this indicator.
    If this indicator is not set, numeric material numbers are padded with leading zeros and stored right-justified

  • ABAP-based web service returns numeric values with leading zeros

    Hi SOA experts,
    I have created a web service out of an ABAP function module. Beside other values, this service returns a list of document numbers. All of these numeric values are returned by the web service with leading zeros, but we do want these values w/o leading zeros.
    Any ideas how I can tell the web service to not print any leading zeros?
    Thanks in advance for your help!
    Kind regards, Matthias
    PS: The according function module does not print any leading zeros for the numeric values

    hi,
    just a guess: I'd try to use I instead of NUMC for the document numbers.
    NUMC is no number but a character string with numeric characters only. only some display routines in SAP know that this string of numerals represents a number and omit leading zeroes.
    my 2 cents,
    anton

  • MF50 deletes leading Zero's from the material number.

    We have a case where we have alpha-numeric material numbers that include some leading zero's. MF50 in it's released format automatically truncates leading zero's. In our case these leading zero's are required only for alpha-numeric material numbers.
    Looking on OSS I see multiple notes relating to this issue. Any suggestions to fix this problem would be appreciated.

  • How to remove leading zeroes of a coloumn in a table

    can someone tell me how to remove the leading zeroes in a table's coloumn .... its a NUMC  data type..
    i tried with abap statement shift leading zeroes, but its not working for me.... the sorting is missing..
    in properties is there any option to remove the leading zerores>
    niraja

    Hi Niraja,
    I am displaying a table with information from SFLIGHT. The CONNID field is of type NUMC and so it too used to contain the leading zeroes.  I so deleted the leading zeroes in my WDDOINIT method before binding the internal table to the context node. The table now does not display the leading zeroes as earlier. Find my coding as shown below:
    METHOD wddoinit .
      DATA: lr_node TYPE REF TO if_wd_context_node,
            wa_sflight TYPE ig_componentcontroller=>element_node,
            lt_sflight TYPE ig_componentcontroller=>elements_node.
      SELECT * FROM sflight INTO TABLE lt_sflight.
      LOOP AT lt_sflight INTO wa_sflight.
        SHIFT wa_sflight-connid LEFT DELETING LEADING '0'.
        MODIFY lt_sflight FROM wa_sflight TRANSPORTING connid.
      ENDLOOP.
      lr_node = wd_context->get_child_node( name = ig_componentcontroller=>wdctx_node ).
      lr_node->bind_table( new_items = lt_sflight ).
    ENDMETHOD.

  • Removing Leading zeros from query output.

    Hello Experts,
    Is it possible to remove leading zeros from the query output for a particular column?
    I have a characteristics 'Reference Document' which has values like '000001386'. The users just need '1386' to be displayed and have asked us to remove the leading zeros.
    Is there something that can be done for this at a query level? I can't modify the underlying InfoProvider because this requirement is just for one set of users, the other users need the document nmber in the original format.
    Thanks
    Arvind

    Hi,
    you can use ALPHA conversion option in the definition of that particular characteristic.
    Try this code  in a routine.,in query designer;
    data a(9) value '000001386'.
    SHIFT a LEFT DELETING LEADING '0'.
    write:/ a.
    Output will be : 1386
    Or use this method also
    data a(9) value '000001386'.
    Call function 'CONVERSION_EXIT_ALPHA_OUTPUT'
    Exporting
    input = a
    Importing
    output = a.
    write a.
    output:
    1386
