Leading Zeros of Consumption in historical time series are not considered

We are using VM MRP Type and weighted average model to calculate forecast value using historical consumption values. I have 36 historical periods(months) but have consumption incurred only in last period i-e "1". I have choosen a weighted group 01 (20% for 1-12 month, 30% for 13-24 month, 50% for 25-36 month). Using these setting it should calculate the basic value as 1*0.5/12 = .042 but it gives "1" as basic value not considering leading zero consumption value in historical time series. If i put a value in first period it calculates correctly and considers the leading zero.
We have implemented note 1113276, 1145764 & 1113277 and have chosen CV_OPTION="X" in the interface as per theses notes instructions but still while executing the forecast it is not considering the leading zeros.
We are using ECC 6.0 MM with 602 support pack.
Need urgent help in this regard.

You better search for the notes with the message ""Time series does not exist". You will get nearly 18 notes. Go through each note and see the relevence to your problem and do the needful as it is mentioned in the note .
Few notes are:

The iMessages are "pushed" to the devices which means there can be small delays between the server recognising the device went Off Line and coming back.

Is there a way to remove the leading zero from the 24 hour time display in iOS8?

In the previous versions of iOS, the 24 hour time format for some regions dropped the leading zero from single digit hours: 1:23 for example.
In iOS8, it appears that once 24 hour time format is toggled, the time is always displayed as four numbers: 01:23 for example.
Is there a way to revert to this older format without leading zeroes?

Yes, a colleague of mine was able to figure it out. Just double-click the chapter title in the .aggr project. It places it into edit mode and allows you to remove the ".swf" extension as well as make any other changes to the name that you want. It's so easy now that we know how to do it, but it was tricky to figure out since the chapter list does not appear editable at first.

Lead time values are not appearing in the report for current year.

Iam checking a report in production. where lead time values are displayed as 0 for 1 key figure lead time3 (w/0 dim) . i found there is a formula for this it shows like NODIM ( 'Lead Time 3' ).and there is a value for cal.lead time
how can i get values in the report.

Hi,
Although your question is not clear, I understood that the formula built on that KF is NODIM. Basically it means, units of measurement is not considered when calculating.
Eg: 5 Minutes + 5 Kilograms = 10
You please try to analyze your KF by the above logic. Then you would be able to figure out why the data is not appearing in the report..

Line Time Series Chart not working

Hi All,
I have one Line Time Series chart where on the X Axis i have taken one date and on Y axis one Sales Figure.Now on the Measure Lables i have taken on dimension as Customer.
So the chart will give me something like trend which customer has how much sales figures daywise.
Now the issue is that it shows the trend for one customer correct and shows the line but if i select second customer the graph doesnt show the line just dot for the second customer.
Any help in this regard

Second customer doesnt have data on consecutive days but there is no pattern in that.He has data on 3rd,7th,8th,10th,15th day.
But for all these days for the second customer dots are coming but not in the case for First Customer.

Time Series Function not doing it right

Hello guys
I have setting up the time dimensional hierarchy with Year -- QTR---Month--- Days order..
I have a measure call 'Forward Amt' which needs to applied with Month-to-date calculation. Therefore I am using time series functions.
I have copied the same measure and renamed it as 'MTD Forward Amt' and defined the todate function according to the syntax:
TODATE("Forward Details"."Forward fact"."Forward Amt", "Forward Details"."DatesDim"." Dates Month")
I set everything according to the standard steps
In the presentation however when I am running reports using dates = 03/10/2010, I am getting:
Month                 Forward Amt              MTD Forward AMT
3                          3000000                       The $3000000 is actually correct value for the date 03/10/2010, but the MTD Forward AMT is empty..
For further investigations, I decided to take out the date column and date filter, then I got:

3                          349000000
4                                                         500000000
5                                                         10000000
6                                                         349000000I don't think this is correct result of the todate function at month level..
Could anybody suggestion any approach for me to investigate this behavior?

I’ve got Live Trace so I can’t vouch for Image Trace, but if what Monika says is right (and it usually is) you can select the areas with black fill and lock them. Then delete the stuff that isn’t coloured.
I believe that Image Trace has the possibility of producing stacks rather than compounds (like Streamline in the old days).
You should definitely go for stacks. They make editing much easier.

Clips on time line are not playing at right time.

I dragged my movie clips and photos onto my timeline, but when I play the movie back the clips and photos are not playing at the time they are placed on the timeline. What do I do? Thanks.

TimeLine in iMovie - any version - doesn't behave as in other video editors as FCE/P or Premiere.
Here each new video-clip or photo snapps to the one to it's left. One can't fix them in Time else putting in "Dummy" clips in between.
If they still don't playback in a continous way - there can be several problems
• free space on Start-up hard disk low - I never go under 25Gb free space
(free space on other second/external hard disks - doesn't matter)
• iMovie pref file might have been corrupted - close iMovie, trash it and re-start iMovie
• Use of strange video and photo and audio file format might also do this - iMovie HD6 wants
video - streamingDV as from miniDV tape Camera via FireWire
photos - .jpg and .png
audio - .aiff 48kHz 16-bit (or from Audio-CD) - NO .mp3 or direct from iTunes

Working Time sub area not visiable Ess

We are using the ESS portal (versions ERP 2005 along with ECC6) for Recording Working Time by our employees.
After loading Enhancement Pack 3 (EP3) the Working Time subarea has disappeared from the Working Time area and we canu2019t figure out why. The Working Time area is there as are other Working Time sub areas.
We have checked the IMG configuration and donu2019t see anything unusual and it looks just like it did before EP3 and matches the configuration in the production system. The Working Time area is defined and assigned and we are using the default Worktime_Subworktime_2005 define and assign settings. We have also checked the configuration in Portal Content Administration and can not identify a cause. When a preview button is pushed in Content Administration the Working Time sub area does not show there either.
We have not done any configuration for EP3, just trying to see everything first and confirm that they are still working.
Ideas?

My Ebony magazine and Time magazine are not moved to my News stand

I just installed iOS 5 and it installed perfectly with no hassles. I am just wondering why some of my magazines are not moved to the News Stand.
Time magazine and Ebony are still where they were omly GQ and Readers' Digest moved.
What should I do to move them to the News Stand?

Same with the Wall Street Journal. I know it will eventually get into Newzstand, but until then, I'm going to act like a disgruntled user and complain loudly on these boards! Whine!!!!!

Folders last modified time stamp are not updated in Windows 7

After changing any .cpp file in Visual Studio, the last modified time stamp for the file's folder
IS NOT updated. What's happening ?
However when I change a Word (.docx) file, the last modified time stamp for the file's folder
IS updated ! How come ?

If you thought this issue gets worse and if you have already set NtfsDisblesLastAccessUpdate to 0, then please revoke it to 1.
From the above Blog we can see that in Windows 7, the "Last Modified" field on log files is not updated when a program attempts to open the file or the utility is stopped, this is a design change to NTFS , becase we cache the metadata for
folder contents and do not refresh it until a handle is closed on an open file or an explicit call is made to retrieve the properties of an individual file.
Per your current issue that even if you closed these Vistual Studio files, the timestamp still didn't update. Please try the following and check whether any of them work:
- open the file in a second program
- view the proprties of the file
- "dir <filename>" at a command prompt
In addition, if you edit these Vistual Studio files with Notepad(Before doing that, please close all the programs include Vistual Studio) and try to reproduce the issue, does the issue still occur?

LVM file time stamps - time stamps are not uniform

My LVM files do not have evenly separated time stamps. Is this by design? I want to record data from multiple channels at say 100S/s and see this in my LVM file. Ideally each of the 100 data points would be separated by 0.01s. This is not what I get.
I have tried changing the samples per second and the samples per channel inputs on my timing and read VIs but I don't get even spacing. I have figured out that the DAQmx Read VI always cuts the number of samples in the file in half. So sampling at 100S/s gives me 50 data points per second in my LVM file. Given that it cuts the points in half, I would like the spacing to be .00, .02, .04 etc., but I get this: .00, .01, .02, .03, .08, .09, .10, .11, .16, .17, .18, .19...
Is this normal or am I missing something?

Unfortunately, I am not a DAQ user (the last time I really used DAQ was 7 years ago, before DAQmx was created). So, I have never seen your DAQ read issue.
LVM, on the other hand, I am intimately familiar with. Using the write to spreadsheet will almost always be faster than the LVM write. Under the hood, LVM write uses write to spreadsheet, but also handles a lot of other bookkeeping (you can look yourself by converting an LVM Express VI to a normal VI and diving into it). Your biggest issue will be saving the timestamps correctly. If you are using the waveform datatype from the DAQ read, the timestamp is included, so getting it right is not an issue. Formatting it in a text format for save is.
Precisely what are you trying to do? From you earlier post, it appeared you were taking one set of several channels of data every 10ms and writing to disk. Depending on how you use the LVM write, you may be attempting to open the file and close it at every write. This would be very slow and could account for your jitter. Saving at every data point is also very inefficient. You can stream at disk rate limited speeds (~10 - 60 MBytes/sec, depending on your hardware) if you optimize your buffer and disk write sizes. Optimum disk write size is about 65,000 bytes for Windows XP. Your data is probably far less than that.

Emails in restored mailbox from Time Machine are not visible

I have an IMAC 5.1 with OSX 10.6.8. When I restored a mailbox using Time Machine, the mailbox appears in Apple Mail however no emails are visible even though they are present in the folder in library/mail/mailboxes in Finder. Any suggestions on how I can make the emails visible?

I managed to find the solution. In Mail under Mailbox in the header there is a Rebuild button. I pressed it and my emails are now visible.

Hi Critch! Thats a great question. The difference in times may be reflective of difference in time zone or usage not reported while on an extended network. Are the times off by a few minutes or several hours? Does this happen with voice and messaging usage as well?
