Learning Admin Learning History One time Event

at learning admin resp. when we search for enrollment subscription in learning history, the last entry is One time event, there is no create button with that. What is the use of this? Where do I create such one time events?

As Anders said, One Time Events are no longer used - that's why there's no 'Add' button. If you had been using OLM for a long time (back when it was OTA) you may have used One Time Events as they used to be something you could use. This region of the page is only for customers that previously used One Time Events. If your organisation does not use these, I would recommend you personalise off that region if possible.

Multiple entries in TEVEN for one time event created by HR-PDC

Hi experts,
we have a SAP certified time attendance system connected to our ERP 6.0 system by HR-PDC interface.
Now it happens from time to time that exactly one time event causes multiple entries in SAP table TEVEN and therefore is shown in the check report PT40.
The number of duplicate records is always different - up to about 140 entries for one and the same time event in the worst case.
Except the field PDSNR all the other fields contain exactly the same values.
I have checkt many of the problematic bookings and I have always just one correct time event in the source application and there is only one data record in the corresponding IDOC too.
Also the number of transferred records shown in the protocol spool of the report SAPCDT45 is correct and identical to the number of records in the IDOC.
The first place where I can identify the problem with the duplicate records is the table TEVEN.
No records are left in the interface table CC1TEV.
I have seen that within one block of identical time bookings in TEVEN the field PDSNR ist not numbered in one sequence but there are gaps in between that are used for any other entries.
As I can see in historical entries of TEVEN the problem exists already for years so it does not seem to be in direct connection with the latest support pack or something like that.
The relevant jobs run every 15 minutes whereby SAPCDT45 is started 5 minutes after RPTCC106.
Has anyone else experienced this strange behaviour or knows what I could further investigate?

It seems that an entry for Status A00 or A05 would solve my problems and of course I will try to handle it by this view.
But do you know whether there is any possibility to find out how it comes to these repeated postings?
I do not know whether the repeated postings happen in the same package (IDOC) or in an earlier package and to be honest I do not think that the record comes from the source application a second time because there I could find only one record that seems to be correct.
I also cannot understand how it comes that I have even 140 "identical" entries for one time event.
Could you please let me know your thoughts about that?
Anyway I thank you for offering a solution - even if I do not understand the reason for the pborlem.

Newbie Question, One Time Events

Hi I'm new to labview and any help would be appriciated.
Basically I have one numerical control, which i want to be copied to a shared variable when a button is pressed(one that does not latch), afterwards I want the user to be able to change the value of the numeric control W/O changing the shared variable to the new value. The implementation is a single entry calculator in this case, but the project is just for learning.
I tried logic statements as well as case structures and I haven't made it work yet.
My question is there a function or subVI which makes an event only happen once, hypothetically the wire goes away after one cycle?

I don't think you have the correct definition for a "latch action button", because that's what you actually need. Place the writing to the shared variable inside the true case of a case structure. Whenever you press the button, it will turn TRUE until it is read once and the resets to false again.
Alternatively, use an event structure triggered by a vlaue change of the button. The best choice depends on the rest of the code.

Past one-time calendar events do not show up on synced Ipod Touch 2G

In the transition of moving my old Palm calendar info (data since late 1999) to iCal on my Macbook and then on to Mobile Me, everything has gone fine. Nearly every single event has been accurately transferred to the Mac and then to the "cloud" with nary a problem. However, when I sync my new iPod Touch 2G to the Mobile Me calendar, the iPod calendar's events are only complete for the past month. Reoccurring events show up for past months and years, but no one-time events pre mid-August 2008 show up on the iPod calendar. I am viewing "all" calendars when I do this. New events sync on all devices without error.
This is a 16 gig iTouch not even half full with software and data goodies.
What's the deal? Am I missing a setting or preference somewhere? I sometimes like to see when past events happened on my portable device's calendar. This was no problem on the ancient Palm I previously used.

On the iPod go to :-
Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendar
Then scroll down to the Calendar settings.
You should see an option called 'Sync', here you select how far back it will sync events. You can select 'All Events' which is what you want.

You seem to be new to this software, so I highly recommend that you take some time to learn it using some great tutorials available online - it will pay off to invest the time, if you follow through, for example the great (and free) introductory tutorial at izzyvideo.com.
This is an amazing piece of software, and you'll have a lot to learn, but it's well worth it.

Oracle Learning Managment: Learning History Reconciliation

Hi Oracle Support Group,
We have encountered an interesting situation.
We had problems with Learners' Learning history page Visible to learner and Learners status details on Class / Certification Available to Learning Administrators / Catalog admins only.
On Learning admin page - Learner's enrollment status appears correct along with Player status of Learning object
However in Learner's history page , Learning object player status remains - not attempted, Interestingly Learner can see completion time and correct attendance status.
There was a patch provide for this which resolves the issue on Oracle based / SCORM1.2 based self pace online Quiz , its Player status and attendance status learner wise. However other types of offering like Instructor lead class, external computer based learning , looses attendance status. Ie. On learning history page Learners are unable to view Completion and Attendance status
I would appreciate if you can direct me to an existing solution available.

To add though personalization u need to confirm that any of page VO, has that DFF attribute, otherwise u have to go for extensions. Read dev guide section DFF section in dev guide.

Training and Event Management (now called <b>Training Management (TEM)</b>, sometimes referred to as PE in SAP documentation). Employees/Learners were able to book courses and view their training history via Employee Self-Service, and supported the full suite of classroom training administration functions.
SAPs current learning software is SAPs Learning Solution (LSO). Companies still can use TEM to administer classroom-only training or they can choose to leverage LSO functionality to deliver classroom training as well as Web-based training, virtual classrooms, blended learning, and collaboration to their employees.
Training Management (TEM) serves as the foundation of SAPs Learning Solution (LSO). However, LSO includes much new functionality such as administering and delivering Web-based training, virtual classrooms, curricula, and online tests. The entire LSO consists of SAP Authoring Environment, Content Management System (CMS), Learning Management System (LMS), Learning Portal, Content Player, Offline Player, Business Intelligence (BI), and the Collaboration functionality.

Hi All,
I need to create a resp with access to only Learning History tab. Can i do this quickly, i.e. is there a specific role I can assign via User Management which gives only access to Learning History tab?
If not, I will check the menu / functions on Learning Administrator resp and then personalizing any update buttons out. Are there any other threads on this or guides i can use for quick assistance?

1.     Create custom responsibility with standard seeded menu.
2.     Exclude following menu in custom responsibility
a.     OTA Catalog Tab for Learning Administrator
b.     OTA Content Tab for Learning Administrator
c.     OTA Setup Tab for Learning Administrator
d.     OTA Resource Tab for Learning Administrator

Training & Event Management - Billing - One Time customer

Hi All,
Would anybody be able to help us with the below scenarios, Thanks in advance for the help.
1. How do, I do Billing in Training & event management?
2. Can we have more than 1 one time customer for different departments in training & event management. if yes, what would be the process?
3. Integration table _T77S0,_ have only 1 one time customer as integration between training & event management and sales & distribution, but if we assign different one time customer at Attendee level, there is a confilict, how we can assing different one time customer for different attendees( say department wise)?

Hi,
One time customer itself means that there is no regular transactions with this customer, so that is why a generic account is created for such customer and the transaction for various one time customers posted with such generic account.
The credit check is not relevant to the one time customer.

Firefox Silent updater will not work unless I launch Firefox.exe one time with Admin rights

I am building a Firefox 17.0.4 ESR package to use for my Enterprise. Everything is working great except for the updater piece. I am using the configuration.ini file during the install with the command MaintenanceService=true turned on, and a mozilla.cfg file with updates enabled, pref("app.update.enabled", true). I am running the install both manually, and through SCCM with Admin rights, including the maintenance service. After the install runs, I open Firefox as a limited user and go to Help->About, and it says Updates are available at www.firefox.com, and that the browser is set to the ESR release channel.
In all my troubleshooting, the only 2 sure ways I have found that make the auto updates work for a user were to run firefox.exe as an admin 1 time, or to install the base esr package as an admin after my install package. That will fix it for the logged in user only, but another user would run into the same issue. It appears that something is not installing correctly, but I cannot determine the cause.
My install command is:
Firefox Setup 17.0.3esr.exe /INI=%INST%\Configuration.ini

In my organization, we have removed Admin rights from all users, but use a product that can elevate any .exe with create a policy for to run with Admin rights. We have a policy set for updater.exe and it does work for future updates, just not this first update after install until Firefox itself is run as Admin for the first time. My thought is that when Firefox and the Maintenance service are installed with Admin rights through SCCM, the maintenance service should have inherited rights from that install. Forgive me if I am wrong in my conclusion.

Weblogic Timer Event Generator - How it works?

Hello everyone!
I have wrote simple wli-application, that subscribes to the message broker channel.
I have deployed it to the cluster (managed servers 1 (ms1) and 2(ms2)). (I use Weblogic Server 10.3, cluster contains 1 admin server and 2 managed servers.)
Than I have created the timer event generator (EG) via wliconsole and rule for this EG - to send message to the MB-channel every 30 seconds.
Then I redeploy EG application via console (WLS Admin Console) from managed server 1 to cluster (m.servers 1 and 2) and start it.
Everything started ok - I got messages to both instatnces of my application in the following way:
15:30:00 - to instance on ms1
15:30:30 - to instance on ms2
15:31:00 - to instance on ms1
15:31:30 - to instance on ms2
...and so on
when I shut down ms2 - I started to receive messages to instance of my application on ms1 every 30 secodns. Here Everything is OK.
Then I start ms 2 and got the picture like:
15:30:00 - to instance on ms1
15:30:30 - to instance on ms2
15:31:00 - to instance on ms1
15:31:30 - to instance on ms2
...and so on
Then I shutdown ms1... And that's all - no messages to instance on ms2 :(
I started ms1 and no messages on both instances - on ms1 and ms2..
Can you explain me how Timer Event Generator works? What resources it uses? And how can I setup it to get load-balancing while both instances running and failover - when one of the instances shutdowned?

So, not exactly for you, but for someone who happens to read this post, and has the same problems we did...

Actually we don't need the HTTP load balance, we only start the process via EG events, so we only benifit from load balancing on the JMS queues, but i had to configure this to be able to start the process. We had errors if we didn't configure this. We used the AdminServer address and port.

Once the domain was created (didn't do anything but to follow the wizard) we had the persistent stores (and underlying JMS servers) targeted to the AdminServer (obviously incorrect). So we retargeted them to the Managed Server.

We had to create a table to persist the wli process state, because it is a statefull process (http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E13214_01/wli/docs102/dbtuning/wliTuning.html)
The matter of fact is everything works fine, despite the exceptions i mentioned in the AdminServer, once it gets started... But it seems to have no negative impact on the application, and migration is done successfully
I will continue to work on figuring out what the origin of those exceptions is, and if i manage to find a solution i, most surely, will post it here... One thing i find to be strange is that the exceptions start even before i have anything deployed to the Migratable Target... Once i create it and restart the server i get those messages, and we tried the Concensus configuration with NodeManager, as well as the Database configuration.
I guess that what's really important for us now is that we do have fail over and load balancing working... :D
I don't know if it would be abusive to ask you for that document of yours, maybe it has some clue on what's wrong in our config, but again, i understand if you can't share that =)
By the way, i'm portuguese, but since google made the translator available, i guess i can manage russian documentation as well ;)

Your code has very little to do with what you are describing.
There is no button with "switch until released" mechanical action. (OK is switch when released, stop is latch when released)
A case structure always "works". Are you saying that it should execute e.g. the true case only once whenever the outer case goes from false to true??
Your inner case goes true more than once per run of the program (whenever the OK goes true). If it should really only work once overall, use the "first call?" primitive. You need to formulate the problem using less ambiguous words.
There is no obvious starting state for the boolean that you read via local variables. How do you ensure that it start with a known value? Does it matter?
You seem to entirely deal with integers, so why are you using floating point representation for the numerics?
What is the purpose of the orange numeric indicator. Is it just a kludge for your logic or does its value mean anything?
Why does your loop not contain any wait?
At this point, you should learn about shift registers. It would eliminate all your local variables.

Not through the configuration wizard.
To handle admin server availability (the admin server is not clusterable). This means that if the admin server goes
down, you cannot administer your WebLogic Server domain until you bring it back up. In most cases, you may
not be too concerned if the admin server goes down because all you need to do is restart it. If you use the node
manager to start the admin server, the node manager can automatically restart a failed admin server just like it can any other server.
What happens if the machine where the admin server runs fails in such a way that you cannot restart the admin server?
The answer is simple if you prepare for this event. Proper operation of the admin server relies on several configuration files
and any application files it controls. Typically, the best thing to do is to store the admin server's directory tree on a shared disk.
As long as the configuration and application files are accessible, you can restart the admin server on another machine. It is up
to you to make sure that you don't have more than one admin server running at a time. If the new machine can assume the
original admin server's Listen Address (or if it was not set), you can simply start the admin server on the new machine without
any configuration changes.
Otherwise, you will need to change the admin server's Listen Address. Since the managed servers ping the admin server URL every
10 seconds until it comes back up, you need to devise a way for the admin server URL to allow the managed server to find the restarted
admin server on the new IP address. The easiest way to achieve that is using a DNS name that maps to both IP addresses, or better yet
that is dynamically updated to point to the correct location of the admin server. If this is a graceful shutdown and migration, use the
WebLogic Console to change the Listen Address just before shutting down the admin server. If not, you will need to edit the config.xml
file by hand to replace the old Listen Address with the new one. Typically, it is recommended to plan ahead so that everything you need is
already in place to make admin server failover as painless as possible.

External Timer Event

I want to Schedule a process exceution at defined time intervals. Is there a Timer Event available in the BPEL Engine that can be configured through a admin console (or similiar interface) so that I can schedule this job?
I checked onAlarm and I guess it supports only one time execution.
If BPEL engine does not provide the external timer my other options are to used a job schedular?

I have the same problem. The bpel spec says that processes instances can only be started with messages. I could not find an external Timer Event in the samples, for instance some java code that can be run in the app server sending such timer events to a bpel process.

Logical time in deleted time events - RPUAUD00

Dear All,
We are using standard report RPUAUD00 to read deleted time events (Infotype 2011) from system. In certain cases, deletion entries are displayed without any entry for field LTIME (Logical Time). Can any one throw some light, as of why and how this LTIME entry is not logged in change log?
