Lease-in and Lease-out Contract

Hi RE Friends,
When i m creating a Lease-out contract with respective to lease-in contract.
In genral tab of lease-out contract for main contract number field should update automaticaly based on the object which is intialy leased-in.
can any body asist me in this process.

Leasing object is basically the asset (or material or physical product or reference product) that is leased in CRM Leasing. In CRM, materials are created in transaction COMMPR01. These are generic products like LAPTOP or TRUCK. If you want to create more specific products (eg. using serial number or VIN number), then you can create Individual Objects (IObjects) based on the reference product. The object family used for leasing individual objects is 0311.
CAI stands for "Contract Added Pricing Implement". In CRM 5.0, you can find this under IMG -> CRM -> Financial Services -> Leasing -> Pricing -> CAI - Contract Added Pricing Implement. Here's the text copied from the IMG
"The CAI (Contract-Added pricing Implement) tool is used in the leasing scenario to calculate the conditions for pricing that cannot be calculated using standard pricing in IPC. These are conditions whose calculation requires the financial mathematics cash flow or information from predecessor documents. In the standard scenario, these are conditions that are needed in option valuation, such as the net present value of outstanding payments."
Note: If you are using a higher version of CRM for Leasing, you may not need CAI.

Field status as mandatory while creation of RE-FX Lease Out Contract

Hi SAP Real Estate Friends,
I have a requirement wherein we need to make the field status of some specific fields as mandatory for data input in RE-FX Lease Out Contract. The fields are mentioned below:
1. Profit Centre in Organizational Assignment Term.
2. Payment Terms in Postings Term.
3. Account Determination Value in Postings Term.
4. Resubmission Rule needs to be mandatorily selected by the user creating the RE-FX lease Out Contract.
5. Fixtures and Fittings Characteristics needs to be mandatorily selected by the user creating the RE-FX Rental Object.
Also we need to achieve a requirement that in case a posting has already been carried out for a given RE-FX Contract for a given Account Determination Value, same shall not be available for change in the RE-FX Contract subsequently.
Plz write back with your valuable inputs.

Lease Out Contract - Master Data Structural Relations

Dear Gurus,
I am new to FX RE and if my question is too simple, please excuse me!
I am researching the possibilities for the master data structure of lease in contracts and have a serious confusion.
The documentation says that objects can be assigned to a contract individually or many objects related to one contract. At the same tim it is said that rental units are assigned only to lease out contracts.
How should i proceed if my company has got many lease in contracts for different object. Is it a must the contract to be assigned to an object or it can be managed just as a contract? I saw that from the RE Navigator you can create a contract, does that mean that in FX RE the contracts itself is considered as master data record?
Any opinions will be highly appreciated.

Sorry if I ve been confusing. I will try to make it more clear.
I am working for a Teleco and i am researching the possibility of implementing FX - RE internally. We will not need all the functionalities of the module, but only the ones that allow you to manage your lease in contracts. We`ve got lots of base stations contracts (as you can imagine) where our company is a tenant in a lease contract.
I did some research in relation to the master data structure and cant work out how should our master data be structured. The business requirements are - handling the advance payments, accruals and postings, giving and receiving notices, adjustments of rent etc. Is it possible to create the contract within the system, set all the conditions directly in it or do we need to have another master record other that the contract itself.
My confusion comes from the fact that the standard solution of the lease outs suggests creating a rental unit first and then assigning the contract to it. But since we will be tenants we dont need to more detailed information on these objects, we just need the conditions in the contract that will let us handle all the activities that arise in connection to it.
I hope that i put the question more clearly this time.
Can you also tell me if it is possible to create a template and after entering the conditions about the particular contract to generate it from the system on a hard copy?

Change of Business Partner in RE-Fx Lease Out Contract.

Hi,
I would like to know the possibility of change in the Business Partner in a RE Lease out contract wherein some postings have already made.i.e. A contract was created with Business Partner X and postings and invoicing was done. Later it was decided that the posting and invoicing shall now be done on new business partner Y which was attached to the contract.

Thanks for the update.
My requirement is slightly different from what you have answered. The business case is explained below:
I have a lease out contract with Partner Company X. Some postings and invoices have been created in the system with Partner Company X. Now the partner company X is bought by Partner Company Y. The earlier postings and invoices shall be in the name of partner company X only and subsequent postings and invoices shall be in the name of Partner Company Y. The solution proposed by you shall reverse the earlier postings which is not desired.
Please suggest some way to tackle this problem.

Asset warranty and lease number

Why can i use the asset warranty twice for differents assets is not a unique register or it can be use for others assets?

Does the securty book restrict the lease number and warranty number form another books??

The first year of warranty goes by serial number no matter who owns it. If you have AppleCare on the product and sell it, you need to transfer that AppleCare Plan to the new owner.

Move IN and Move out Process

Dear All ,
Can any body tell me about the process of Move In and Move out from Business Master data to Technical Master data and Move In and Move Out . Install meter and Meter Reading in particular order For Example Following :

This all looks good however when the Move-in, Move-out process is execution a meter reading order is automatically created either with meter reading reason:
06         Meter reading at move-in
OR
03         Final meter reading at move-in/out.
It is not necessary to manually create the MRO via EL01 here.
It is also possible to create the business partner and contract account at the time of move-in.

PABR01 and PABR02 in contract documents configuration

Hi,
I was tryong to find out the use of the fields PricProcCondHeader and PricProcCondItem in contract document. Please let me know the following:
1) What is the usage of the fields PricProcCondHeader and PricProcCondItem in contract documents?
2) When do we use these fields?
3) What is the difference in pricing procedure at header level and pricing procedure at item level as pricing is always for the items. Then why do we need the pricing procedure at header level.
4) How do we use the pricing procedures PABR01 and PABR02 that are available for these fields.?

Content (apps, music, ibooks, films etc) is tied to the account that originally downloaded it, so if the iBooks app was downloaded using the account that you used to share with your ex then only that account can download updates to it. As it's a free app you could delete it and re-download it under your own account - and then re-download your ibooks into it (or copy the books to your computer's iTunes first via File > Transfer Purchases and then sync them back to the app).

Problem with XMLTABLE and LEFT OUTER JOIN

How to get plain old S-video and Composite out from a MBP?

Hi,
this question is about someone's MacBook Pro he newly bought with adapters to get both DVI and Svideo/Composite Out.
He got Mini DisplayPort to DVI-D converter, and a DVI-I to video converter, that cannot be plugged into a DVI-D port. Apple removed the analog capability of its adapter, that's bad. But what's badder is there doesn't seem to have any Mini DisplayPort to Svideo/Composite adapter, as there was with previous generation machines.
How can someone easily output analog video from MBP?

In fact, I recognize that these standards are old, which doesn't mean they're not up-to-date. Similar example, VGA connector is old, but perfectly useful, even in 2009. I recently plugged a 22" LCD with VGA and DVI on the same computer (a bland desktop PC), and there was strictly no difference. Same color depth, same crisp display. Even looking at a corner with a magnifier, nothing was different.
So, changing standards just for the sake of it doesn't make any sense.
Agreed that, as a pro, Apple would like me to buy their pro line, but nowhere in the pro line does an easy solution exists for S-Video and composite out. The solution you posted exists, but is unwieldly and not neat at all, if it doesn't break the Mac's connector under its weight. If a manufacturer can do this kind of adapter, Apple can do it better, and make a bigger profit out of it.
For the adapter you posted, I don't ever buy anything that is not at least Mac+Windows compatible, or at a minimum is open-source, so anyone with programming skills can make something. The manufacturer also doesn't give a clue on how this works. I guess some sort of virtual driver sits in the system as a virtual IEEE1394 port so any program requiring FW can work transparently. Still, incompatible with the OS that most manufacturer ship their new PCs with, poor commercial decision, wether you like the OS or not.
Adding FW in the MB unibody design wouldn't have cost anout $30. Rather, we're talking about a 25 cents chip, a 25 cents connector, which they would have rounded up to $20 and still, that was present in previous-gen MB. After all, they are indeed selling a matte screen on the MBP 17" for $50 more, despite them removing a single piece of glass which may cost, well, let's be fair, $5 to manufacture? That's dishonest. And capitalistically justified.
So far, choosing a Mac for one's needs is no easy task: older white MacBooks have the same power as unibodies, excellent connectivity, top notch transfer speeds, BUT are heavier, as not as ecologically friendly nor do they have future-proof RAM standard. The unibodies are sleekier, easily recycled and will be able to be upgraded in the near future BUT is most likely unable to use current devices and have slower transfer speeds.
For Pro models, the newer ones have great efficiency, much power and flexibility with their dual GPU BUT lost the option of matte screen, although their other pro-oriented monitors still default to matte. Only the 17" has the option. If a pro already finds his 15,4" bulky and with ample reserve power, will he buy the bigger and heavier 17"? Probably not.
I understand that Apple way of doing business is keeping only what's essential with no unnecessary options (I'm looking at you, Asus, with you at least 10 different versions of you netbook). But this time, not everyone can find what he or she wants in Apple's line of laptops, as opposed to the iPod thing, where virtually any possible preference is covered.
