  • Leave request customer field as checkbox in ui5 leave request page

    Hi,
    we are trying to put an additional field (customer field) in leave request page.
    we added this via customization.
    and we want this to be appeared as checkbox, in the leave request page. for this for WDA page, there is option to change at WD fpm configuration, so it is appearing properly.
    but same thing, when we access via ui5 application, via hr renewal page, it is showing as input field.
    is there any way to make the customer field appear as a checkbox in HR renewal ui5 leave application page.
    thanks,
    Madhu_1980

    Here are the details for one of the additional fields
    1. We have enabled Customer Field - 'CUSTOMER01' using PTRAQ ->Fields customizing.
    2. We have then enhanced the feeder class CL_HRESS_PTARQ_LEAVREQ_GUIBBF method  GET_DEFINITION - in post-exit we have assigned search help  HTNM_PERNR to field 'CUSTOMER01'
    3. So when we launch the web-dynpro it gives search help for the field 'CUSTOMER01'
    I guess since the custom logic is on the feeder class which gets called only from the webdynpro it works on webdynpro and not on the UI, but can we implement the same kind of logic for the UI application as well, do we have any class similar to this feeder which sets the UI field properties.
    Thanks much!

  • How to fix error message: Are you sure you want to leave this page?  There is currently a request to the server pending. You may lose recent changes by navigating away.

    I have been gettting this error message in safari for 4 days.
    Any ideas? This is beyond frustrating. I haven't installed or downloaded anything in this time.
    Thanks!

    Unless you have an application open like Microsoft Word and have made changes to some work you have done go up to file and SAVE then you can leave the page wwithout any problems. this message comes mostely when you are in a browser. Just leave the page.

  • Since I updated Firefox I have to constantly re log-in to my Yahoo account such as email. Every time I leave the page I have to log-in to get back into it. I also run OPERA and I do not have that problem with them. I stay logged in. Any suggestions?

    I have windows Vista and have the updated version of Firefox. I also can run OPERA and LUNASCAPE with no problems. When running Firefox I have to constant re log-in to my Yahoo account every time I leave the page. For example: I log in to check my email on Yahoo and then leave my email page. Then when I return to recheck my email I have to log in all over again. I can't stay logged in. If I run my OPERA browser I stay logged in for days without having to sign in all over again.

  • I opened a website that said that all of my files had been encrypted. A popup appeared and asked if I wanted to leave the page, but when I tried to, it wouldn't let me.  How do I know if this is a real problem or not?

    I was researching information for a class and I clicked on a website that said that all of my files had been encrypted.  A popup appeared and asked if I wanted to leave the page but when I tried to, it would let me.  I had to force quit Safari in order to do so.  How do I know if this is a real problem or not?

    It's a JavaScript scam that only affects your web browser, and only temporarily.
    1. Some of those scam pages can be dismissed very easily. Press command-W to close the tab or window. A huge box will pop up. Press the return key and both the box and the page will close. If that doesn't happen, continue.
    2. From the Safari menu bar, select
              Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Security
    and uncheck the box marked Enable JavaScript. Leave the preferences dialog open.
    Close the malicious window or tab.
    Re-enable JavaScript and close the preferences dialog.
    3. If the Preferences menu item is grayed out, quit Safari. Force quit if necessary. Relaunch it by holding down the shift key and clicking its icon in the Dock. From the menu bar, select
              Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Privacy ▹ Remove All Website Data
    to get rid of any cookies or other data left by the server. Open your Downloads folder and delete anything you don't recognize.

  • "Are you sure you want to leave this page?" on saving Publishing Page

    Hi all,
    we're getting some ... interesting ... behavior in IE.
    Setup:
    We have a page layout based on some content type. Both contain (besides other fields) a DateTimeField which is shown in edit mode.
    When a user clicks "Save" after editing the page, he is presented a modal dialog saying "Are you sure you want to leave this page?" with the options to "stay" or "leave".
    When a user clicks "leave" the following behaviour is as expected (changes are saved, page is working). When a user clicks "stay" he sometimes gets prompted for conflicts.
    As soon as the DateTimeField is removed from the page layout (but is kept in the content type) there are no more such pop-up dialogues.
    This happens only in IE 9/10/11. FF and Chrome work fine.
    Do you have any suggestions, on how to fix this? Not the conflicts part, but the fact that this dialogue box is shown at all.

    I already tried seeting IE (Security) Settings back to deafault and disabling add-ons. It did not help.
    The site is accessed via https and is in the Trusted Sites list in IE.

    Hi SomeTallGuy,
    According to your description, my understanding is that the model dialog appears after you click Save.
    My suggestion as below:
    1. Set the Internet Explorer Security Setting to low.
    2. If you have add your site to trusted sites, try to delete all the browser data, such as cookie, temporary files to test whether it works.

  • How do I allow zooming on a page, but return all pages to 100% zoom after leaving that page?

    When I access a webpage and zoom in on content, if I leave the page and return in the same browsing session, the page is still zoomed in. How do I stop Firefox from storing the zoom data so a page will always start on the default zoom level, without needing to manually reset the zoom every time?
    I want to completely stop Firefox from storing zoom levels, even on a temporary basis. As soon as I leave a zoomed-in page, all zoom levels everywhere should be 100%. I've tried using private browsing, which stops Firefox from storing zoom levels after a browsing session, and I'm looking for a solution that stops Firefox from using stored zoom levels ever.

    I've tried that before, and you're right that it makes Firefox remember the zoom only for the current tab. Unfortunately that doesn't work for me, since everything needs to happen within a single tab. If there are no solutions available for standard builds of Firefox, I'm going to look into modifying the source code or writing an external script to handle this.
    This is for a public information kiosk, so many Firefox features are disabled. I'm trying to deal with an issue where one user zooms in on a page, and then the next user to use that page has trouble finding information because of the changed zoom level.

  • Are you sure you want to leave this page?

    Periodically I start to get "Are you sure you want to leave this page?" message in OVM Manager 3.2.1 - if I click no, I get the message again. If I click yes, it logs me out... Often without any action from my side - or in the middle of my activities (so it doesn't look like it is related to any timeout).
    I have disabled timeout in Tool and Resources - Preferences, so it is not suppose to log me out at all.
    Any idea what is going on and how to fix it?
    Thanks,
    Alex

    Very painful & I am also interested in a fix for this.
    On 3.2.1 I am also getting this message though I only notice it when I am idle by not clicking on anything on the page.
    On OVM 2.x I like to leave my screen open and it re queries the statuses. I like this UI more but the timeout or whatever is very annoying.
    While I haven't been timed out right after recently doing something, when I launch jobs that take awhile I like that it shows me how much progress has made (cloned 101G of 500G etc)... Once you get timed out you lose the status and I don't see a way to get that dynamic job progress feedback anywhere without logging into the OVS and querying the file sizes as they progress on the file system.

  • Which jar file is required for jsp dynpro page programming ?

    Hi all:
       I use NWDS wizard to create one small jsp dynpro page application. However the project has some errors, it said "
    This compilation unit indirectly references the missing type com.sapportals.htmlb.page.DynPage (typically some required class file is referencing a type outside the classpath)     Test1.java     NewParProject1/src.core/com/xinao/test     line 0
    " However, I found the class DynPage is not found in current project.
    I have already added com.sap.portal.htmlb_api.jar into my project.
    Where can I locate and find that jar file (which include the DynPage class ) ?

  • I accidentally leave a page without posting, losing all my work. Avoid?

    On a news site like cbc.ca or RichardDawkins.net or opposingviews.com I post messages. I often forget to post and leave the page and lose all my work. Is there some way to get Firefox to block me from leaving?
    Similarly, sometimes I accidentally start a new post before I post the previous one. Is there a way to get FireFox block me from starting a new post?

    Some sites display a warning when you leave unfinished form input asking if you're sure you want to navigate away from the page. I can't think of any built-in setting like that, but there might be a way to add your own warning using an add-on. Of course you would only want this to appear when you had at least started typing something or it would be incredibly annoying. You might try searching on the Add-ons site and see if there's anything useful there: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/
    On the second point about starting a new post, is that the same problem, just leaving the page a different way? Or is that a problem within the same page (for example, the response form is cleared to start a new response)? That sounds a little trickier to tackle.

  • Submit Interactive Form using button on Wed Dynpro page instead of in PDF

    Say I've a Web Dynpro page with an interactive form embedded. Is it possible to have on the page an HTMLB button, when clicked, submit the interactive form to an iView on EP? I haven't found any tutorials showing something like this. Please advice.  Basically I need to make this adobe form/web dynpro app interact with the portal (passing the completed form to the portal)? any help will be greatly appreciated. thanks again.

    Hi Mick,
    I don't get your exact requirements.
    What i get is, you want submit to SAP button outside the adobe forms and on the webdynpro page.
    Yes, you can do this thing. Whenever webdynpro page has any events at that time whatever the values on the adobe form are reflected into the node which you have bound with the Interactiveform UI element.
    So, you can place your button outside adobe form also.
    Now, for "submit the interactive for to an iView or EP" I can't get exactly what you want. But i can say that you can manipulate your adobe form in code using pdfObject.
    Check the SAP tutorial for manipulating pdfObject.

    I suspect it has something to do with the java but not sure
    Just so you'll know, there is no Java on that page.  There is, however JavaScript.  You should know that those two things are different as night and day.
    To fix your problem, change this -
    function MM_swapImgRestore() { //v3.0
      var i,x,a=document.MM_sr; for(i=0;a&&i<a.length&&(x=a[i])&&x.oSrc;i++) x.src=x.oSrc;
      </script>
    </head>
    to this -
    function MM_swapImgRestore() { //v3.0
      var i,x,a=document.MM_sr; for(i=0;a&&i<a.length&&(x=a[i])&&x.oSrc;i++) x.src=x.oSrc;
    -->
      </script>
    </head>
