What is the system reaction? will it delimit automatically the absence in IT2001 and create two records Mon-Tu and Thu-Fri?

System reacts on the base of u r configuration. As per my knowlwedge system will call leave from monday to Friday- 4 days absence

Workflow Process - Leave of Absence in R12

Hey guys,
I am trying to find out the workflow process name for the Leave of Absence process using the FND FUNCTION Name.
Previously in 11i you were able to find out the process name (pProcessName=HR_LOA_JSP_PRC) using the parameters field in the function definition screen.

But the parameters field in 12i has a reference to a Generic process name.
Any Idea how to find the process name? I had heard that the architecture had changed? so anyone has any idea or doc or metalink note on this?

There seems to some kind of change of concept with respect to some of the workflows.
Found the below text from the workflow developer guide.

File name collision during build that includes Report Generation toolkit. How to correct?

When I switched to LV 8.6 (it's also in 8.6.1) I started getting a file name collision warning when building an installer that included the Report Generation toolkit. The executable works, but I don't like to leave warnings uninvestigated. I don't understand 1) why it's happening now and 2) what it's recommending for the fix. Here's part of the actual warning it gives.
LabVIEW prevented a file name collision during the
build. Duplicate file names cannot be copied to the same destination. You can
rename files as part of the build process to avoid name conflicts.

Hi GS,
The architecture of the Report Generation Toolkit was changed in LabVIEW 8.6 to utilize LabVIEW Classes. As such, there are some warnings during an EXE build because the class VIs have identical names. Classes were not used in the toolkit in LabVIEW 8.5 and previous...that's why you didn't see any warnings during the build until now.
Your EXE should still function properly, and you shouldn't have to change anything about your build. The purpose of the warnings is to let you know that the duplicate-named VIs needed to be handled differently during the build.

Use XSD referencing other XSDs with include statement in Message mapping

I have an XSD with include statements having reference to other 4 XSDs.One XSD out of these 4,one references one more XSD
I referred to the thread on this :

I have created 6 External Definitions one for each XSD
Referring to the following statement in this thread:
In XI 3.0, there is a tab there called External References. You will see there a Source and a Name. When you click the Name, click Copy Object. Then you open the target object and paste it under the Source located just before the tabs.
The Name you see in the External References are the ones that are declared as include or import in the XSD.
I can see included XSD names in Source column under External References tab in External definition for main XSD.
But Name column is always blank and these columns are not editable.Also,copy doesn't work.
We have XSD names in include statements,but I wonder when I create External definitions out of these XSDs ,how would my main External definition know,which other External definitions are referenced?
If I use the External definition with main XSD as target structure in my mapping,I can only see the fields from this XSD and not the fields from the included XSDs.But I need to map these fields as well.
Can anybody please let me know how can I get a complete XSD as target structure in my mapping?

You can get Row Source Statistics only *after* the SQL has been executed. An Explain Plan midway cannot give you row source statistics.
To get row source statistics either set STATISTICS_LEVEL='ALL' in the session that executes theSQL OR use the Hint "gather_plan_statistics" in the SQL being executed.

While running transactions Pa20/pa30..if it runs for Leave of absence with 5 as reason & separation with 5 as reason then the mail is going to employess due to work-floas it goes to all other actions & reasons.But we want to stop it for above mentioned only.How can we change logic in work-flow for this

0000 infotype(actions) run with any reason like separation or long term disabilitymeans
in Actions infotype the both are reasons right are your sure whether these are Actions reasons or action type ?
In that case identify the Code Related to MASSN which is is acton type feild name and action reason is MASSG
and deactivate for those two action type that will suffice the requirement right

Can I create a task that includes 2 C series modules?

I am trying to create a single task that includes 2 NI-9425 C series modules but when I wire the physical channel constant "Mod3/port0, Mod4/port0" into the DAQmx Create Virtual Channel.vi I receive error -200086 which states physical channel range syntax in the input string is invalid because multiple devices were listed in the string. It is my understanding from LabView help that multidevice tasks are allowed. Also according to this KB article http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/CF85114C6025C84C862571C000722DDA multi-device tasks are supported for S Series devices, C Series, and DSA devices, and according to this KB article http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/websearch/78E44565FD87E7D686257108007F94F8?OpenDocument I have formatted my physical channel constant correctly.
Can someone please explain why I am getting this error when all indications are that this should be a simple thing to do?
My C series modules are in slots 3 and 4 in a cDAQ-9188 chassis, I am currently running LabView 8.5.1, with Windows XP

Hi Eric,
I'm afraid that you can't configure hardware timing with the NI 9425 in CompactDAQ. The NI 9425 data sheet explains: "The NI 9425 is a static digital module, so you can use it to perform software-timed or static operations only when installed in an NI CompactDAQ chassis."
For AI, AO, and counters, daisy chaining multiple calls to DAQmx Create Channel is equivalent to specifying a list of physical channels, but for DIO it's different. A single DIO virtual channel can contain multiple physical channels (lines). It would be completely reasonable to assume that specifying a list of lines with "one channel for all lines" would cause DAQmx to put all of the lines in a single virtual channel, but due to how it's implemented in the DAQmx framework, this is not possible when the lines are on multiple devices. It would also be reasonable to assume that if DAQmx couldn't put all of the lines in a single virtual channel, then it would create one virtual channel per device, but that's also not how it's implemented--it returns the error that you received.
Instead, here are two approaches to putting all 64 lines in one task. Either one should work.
Approach A: Create a single task, containing two virtual channels (MyChan0 and MyChan1). MyChan0 contains cDAQ1Mod3/port0/line0:31 and MyChan1 contains cDAQ1Mod4/port0/line0:31. The Digital 2D Bool NChan 1Samp read VI returns a 2x32 array of Booleans. To flatten this into a 1D 64-element array, you need to use Reshape Array or some other method.
The DAQmx Task >> Channels property is there to show that there are two virtual channels named MyChan0 and MyChan1. Also, I used a for-loop to show that you don't have to hardcode multiple calls to DAQmx Create Channel. The "one channel for all lines" constant is redundant because that is the default.
Approach B: Create a single task, containing 64 virtual channels (MyChan0 through MyChan63). This uses the "one channel for each line" constant, which is not the default. MyChan0 contains cDAQ1Mod3/port0/line0, MyChan1 contains cDAQ1Mod3/port0/line1, etc. The Digital 1D Bool NChan 1Samp read VI returns a 1D 64-element array of Booleans. If you used the Digital 2D Bool NChan 1Samp VI instead, you would get a 64x1 array because there are 64 virtual channels containing 1 line each.

Hello,
We have a leave process in SSHR Module.When we create a leave and send it for an approval then it is approved without an error. But when we update the leave and send it again for an approval then We are getting below error.

The changes were not applied because ORA-01403: no data found ORA-01403: no data found
We have removed all user hooks related to leave.Still error is coming. We are using 12.1.3 version.

does include need to be the first statement or it can be anywhere in the code . I have kept a break-point first and then an include statement. Will that work?

Disable include statements to access control

Hi,
include statements (@include, not include actions) can include any
resource and are not subject to declarative or programmatic access
control. So access control works for the including JSP but not for the
included resource.
Is there a way to restrict include statements (@include, not include
actions) to mitigate this risk?
Tag library validators don't work because they just get a byte stream
of the XML view of the JSP with expanded include statements.
Security manager policies are difficult because the servlet container
needs access to all resources and FilePermissions paths are not
expressive enough. Something like
grant the jsp engine {
permission java.io.FilePermission "/some-root/-.jsp" "read";
permission java.io.FilePermission "/some-root/-.jspx" "read";
seems not possible.
Do you have any idea how to restruct include statements?

This will be a OAF customization, you have extend this oracle.apps.per.selfservice.absence.webui.AbsenceCO Controller.
in processFormRequest you have catch event to Calculate Duration Button.
You need to write custom your requrirement Logic for event to Calculate Duration.
