I was doing something with my desktop manager and all of a sudden my phone shut off and then i took the battery out unplugged my phone and tried repowering it but it wouldn't do anything. • My z10 led flashing red when charging and even at battery full it blinks red. no green at any note..

My z10 led flashing red when charging and even at battery full it blinks red. no green at any notification. But at below 10% charging level it blinks with a combination of red and green. Please send me any settings to be changed if.. at full charged no green light is blinking.. how many colours does z10 led have..and when it works and how to make those settings..or was my led not working fine? I am worried so much..plz help me

Your LED is fine, on the Z10 there is not "network signal available" green LED, as you're accustomed to from the legacy devices. At reaching 10%, the LED will blink orange.
Red for message or applicaiton notifications.
if you want to edit and create specific LED color combination, see the third party apps such as BeBuzz or Hub++

Playbook won't turn on, boot, or charge. LED flashing red.

Try this, while connected to your charger. Press and hold the Power key, up and down volume (-/+) all three buttons simultaneously, for about 10-12 seconds. You should the red LED blink and that should allow a reset of the PlayBook and to power up.

  • Blackberry Pearl 8100 randomly shuts off and the status LED flashes red

My pearl was reciently unlocked and changed from AT&T service to t-mobile. after this switch the pearl started having fits of rage where it will turn off randomly, weather any keys have been hit or even if it is idle. the device LED then flashes red, sometimes once, other times it will flash once every 4 seconds for hours. then it will randomly turn back on either to the exact screen it had been on before it powered off or it will reboot completley and start the normal start-up procedure and varify security checks just as if the battery were removed. i tried removing the batery and leaving the phone disassymbled for a few nights but in the morning the plague is back and unrelenting. sometimes all i have to do it pick the device up and it will shut off. other times i will be plugging away with it for 20 or so minutes on the internet and then it will die suddenly. it also cuts out in the middle of phone calls. if anyone can help, please let me know.
    blackberry 8100 v4.2.1.96

Is it a new phone? If it's less then a month old see if you can return it, otherwise you can try reloading the OS.
So if you're willing to try that, do the following.
First download and install the Desktop Manager from here (4.6 without Media Manager is recommended): https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/entry.do?code=A8BAA56554F96369AB93E4F3BB068C22
Next you can use the Backup and Restore feature present in the software to make a backup of all the data on your phone.
Next download and install the handheld software from here: http://na.blackberry.com/eng/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp
Afterwards try reloading the OS by connecting the device to your computer, open the Desktop Manager, then go into the Application Loader. This will open a wizard that steps you through reloading the OS onto your device. More detailed steps can be found here:

  • Pxi 8360 power led flashes red

I have a PXI 8360 MXI Express board mounted in a PXI 1050 chassis. I am seeing the power LED occasionally flash red and I lose communication with the computer. The power LED will return to solid green status after a few minutes but I am not able to do much with NI DAQ to test the system since it has failed self test. The suspicion here is the power supply may be bad but how do we check that.
The system with the computer has worked well over the past several years and we are concerned about possible damage from a power fluctuation that happened here around Christmas time.

    Hi Xavier,
The red flashing light is on the PXI 8360. I have not seen any flashing lights on the chassis.
The modules present in the system are
    PXI 8360  MXI Express
    PXI 4071  7 1/2 digit flex DMM
PXI 4110  Programmable DC power supply
    PXI 4110
    PXI 4110
    PXI 8252  1394 Host Adapter
    TB 2627  multiplexer terminal block
PXI 6289  M series multifunction DAQ
    SCXI 1306
    SCXI 1303
    SCXI 1303
    SCXI 1300
So far all testing has been done with all modules installed. Another person has tried reseating all modules to see if that would fix the problem but it does not.
The system will work fine for a few hours and then the blinking LED will begin and somewhere near that time the communications fail with the computer. The light will blink for a few minutes and then will return to solid green. Once the error has occurred it seems that the only way to re establish proper operation is to shut down the whole system, PXI chassis and computer, and restart. I saw one time where the power LED on the 8360 went from flashing red to solid green when the computer was turned off.
The computer is  a Dell Precision 690 with PCIe 8361.
I will be opening up the chassis hopefully in the next day or two to check fuses and voltages where I can.

  • PXI Chassis Power LED Flashing Red: What to do?

My NI PXI-1042 keeps blinking red the Power LED. I know it means the voltage is out of the specs. What to do?

    FilipeTaveiros wrote:
But it is not continuously red.. It is blinking red.. Thanks for your help. Anyone?
This is copied right out of the manual:
The chassis power switch has an integrated LED. This LED indicates one
    of three different conditions:
    • If the power switch LED is steady green (not flashing), the chassis is
    powered on and operating normally.
    • If the power switch LED is flashing green, the air-intake temperature
has exceeded the chassis operating range.
    • If the power switch LED is flashing red, the power supply outputs are
    not within voltage regulation requirements.
You either have a power supply problem, or you are loading it down with too many modules.  Try running it empty and see what the light does.

  • Led flashing red 5 times and phone unresponsive

    Hi can anyone help me??
After putting my phone on charge this evening it has turned itself off and now the LED is just flashing red 5 times in a row like 1 .... 2 3 4 5. Can't get any response from it have pulled the battery and have tried connecting it to the pc but no joy. Its a Z10 only 4 months old any ideas how to fix it?

Contributor 'tezytan' is correct. Plug your phone in to your PC and open BlackBerry Link. Once your phone is recognized, you should be prompted to reload your OS. Due to your phone having a corrupt OS, it might not be recognized by Link. If that happens, leave it plugged in and remove it's battery for a few seconds; once you replace it, Link should connect with it.
Let us know if that helps you.

  • K8N Neo4-F - D-LED Flashes Red through EVERY step.

I turned on my computer today and it would not boot.  The D-LED shows it flashing Red for each step, then it rests on Floppy Initialization finally after one long beep.  It refuses to boot up.  Here are my specs:
    MSI K8N Neo4-F Mobo
    eVGA GeForce 6600GT
    2x 512MB Kingston HyperX RAM
    Western Digital SATA HDD, 300GB
Thermaltake PSU, 400W, possibly 450W, not 100% sure right now.
    AMD 3800+ X2
I've replaced my HDD, Video card, USB Devices, and RAM with no luck.  When removing my processor, I no longer get the long beep when the processor is out, which is to be expected.  Now, I need some help here before I go blowing my money on the wrong thing.  Does this sound more like my processor is fried, or my motherboard?

I am in the same boat.  Computer worked fine until yesterday when it started giving a single beep and just spalshing the core cell screen up.
My computer specs are nearly identical to yours and I've been replacing things like mad.  Even went so far as to try the items on another computer and had no problems, beginning to think it is the motherboard itself and not anything else.
    Good luck on yours!

  • 4 leds flashing red/amber, cpu dead?

yea, so i was just moving some cords around inside my case while it was on, then my computer just shut off. wont boot, the bracket on the back is flashing 4 red/amber lights. i tried clearing the cmos, taking out the battery for 20ish minutes, no luck. i got a amd 3200+, k8n neo4 plat mobo, and i also have a arctic cooling freezer 64 on the cpu. is it dead, or is it the mobo?

You could have shorted something out.
Disconnect all drives data and power cables, remove all add-in cards and any USB deivces, remove keyboard and mouse. You want to start with a basic setup, cpu+fan, 1 stick of ram and graphic card, this is all that is needed to boot a PC. Now oull the P/S cord and push your case start button to discharge any remaining current and then clear your cmos. Plug the P/S back in and try to boot with min setup, lets us know what happens.
Follow what MGP says but put this at outside casing just put the anti-static plastic and test it without using the case wired. Just used the jumper to short it and see whether it boot or not? Gd luck

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.
I'm sorry to hear. I suggest that you disconnect the phone from the charger and then hold the ON/OFF button + volume up(+) for 5 seconds. Without trying to power the unit on, connect it to the charger again and let it charge for 1-2 hours before you try to turn it on.

  • Possible 8530 brick, HELP!! Just flashing red LED, Two then Three

I may have bricked my fiancee's phone
I connected it via USB cable to my PC, the PC responded as if it were a new device and started the driver install etc, it said the process was finished. The screen on the 8530 showed the computer hourglass twice on a black screen, and then went completely dark. The only sign of life from it is the LED flashing red, two then three flashes. The computer doesn't detect the device and neither does the BB Desktop Software.
I've pulled the battery, let it RIP, then put it back in and the same. Same with the battery out and the USB cable in. Same on wall charger cord.
I've Googled it to death and nothing has helped. Any and all suggestions are welcome, she's threatening severe bodily harm and more if I can't resolve this.... At the very least can any tell me what the phone is saying through the LED? It flashes red twice quickly, short pause, then three quickly, then repeats after about 3-4 sec.
    HELP!!!

    Hiya!
You can use JL_Cmder to wipe/ reload the OS to the device. Go here:

  • Blackberry LED light keeps flashing red

Yesterday Vodacom Care gave me a new Q5 device - i had a Q5 for 2 months and the phone just went dead - so they replaced  it . Now  my Q5 LED light keeps flashing red and it's a NEW PHONE ??? - make it stop please !

    Hello,
Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
    Thanks for the question.
Follow the steps below to try and bring the BlackBerry Q5 back to life:
Ensure that BlackBerry Link is installed on the PC or Mac OS
Ensure the computer has an internet connection.
    Launch the BlackBerry Link Software.
Note: A backup of the BlackBerry device should be tried before a reload.
Turn off the BlackBerry device. Make sure there are no flashing LEDs and that the LCD is not still being lit by the backlight. If there are any flashing LEDs, hold the power button for 15 seconds until the LEDs stop.
Connect the BlackBerry device to the computer.
When prompted with Cannot communicate with device, click Restore and then click yes allow the update to be downloaded and installed on the BlackBerry device.
If the restore button is not seen press the vertical dots in the lower right corner of BlackBerry Link and select disconnected device.  Highlight the disconnected device you are working with and attempt steps 4 to 6 again.
If the issue still persists, then I suggest contacting your network service provider for repair options.
Let me know if you have any more questions.
    Cheers.

  • Dell switch 8024F - Front left LED is flashing red - no connect terminal

    Hello,
I have a DELL 8024F switch not connected console me.
    The console cable is correct.
The LEDs on the switch are as follows:
LED right power source is green.
Left power source does not exist.
    LED fans are green.
Front left LED is flashing red.
    What can happen?
I have inserted several SFP + and are led as if they were not inserted.
I get the feeling as if you did not initiate the boot process.
    Any suggestions?
    regards

    Hi,
The blinking LED typical means a non critical error, but if you can’t connect to console and it doesn’t recognize any SFP+ transceivers, it could be a more serious error. If you unplug it and then reconnect power is there any change? Have you reseated the power supply and fan modules?
