LED light meanings

i dropped my phone in coffee yesterday, it was in the coffee for about a second and when i took it out i wiped it and took the back off. I put it in rice and left it on charge overnight as a blank battery started appearing on the front of the screen. however, all that is happening is there is a solid yellow/amber light which then switches to a red light then back to the solid amber light. What does this mean? do you think it will come back on?

You have violated the basic rule of getting an electronic device wet -- patience! Overnight is not nearly sufficient to be certain that everything is dry. Hence,
REMOVE YOUR BB BATTERY NOW!!!
If I recall, the Q5 does not have a removable battery...so your only hope is to leave it turned off while you run, don't walk, to this FAQ:

Do everything it says, including waiting the maximum recommended time (perhaps longer...perhaps 5 days).
Lacking patience and applying power to your BB between it getting wet and doing this process reduces the chances of success. Further, the only thing predictable about moisture intrusion into a BB (indeed, any electronic device) is that the results will be unpredictable. I've seen some come back up right away and be fine. I've seen others never work at all. I've seen still others run for a bit, and then die later. And every thing in between.

Iphone 6 plus led light not working in 8.3

I updated to 8.3 a few days ago and have just noticed that my led light does not work.
I backed up the phone, reset it to factory settings and it's still not working. Ay ideas on what I can do next?

So, that makes my iPhone 6 Plus, my girls iPhone 6 and my fathers iPhone 5S not flashing LED on messages and sometimes calls. There aren't any custom vibrations enabled on any if the devices. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Is it a known bug or am I just not doing something right here? i never had an issue before the iOS 8 release. Any help would be appreciated.

The turbo cards will never light. Only special turbo cards for presentations will light. The turbo card by your motherboard have no LED´s mounted.

I am having some problem with my battery, always at 99%, led light not work

I just purchased my macbook 2 weeks ago. The battery was perfectly fine on the first 2 week. After fully charge, led light turn from amber to green as what it suppose to be.
But since today, when I plug in my charger to my laptop, the led light wasn't on at all but based on the battery icon shown on mylaptop, it is charging slowly.
I tried to unplug the charger and replug it in again. It turns to green ( while the icon shown 60%) and 3 sec later, the light off again.
unplug-replug again, it turns to amber, a few sec the light turns off again. and it just keep on and off.
I am a bit confused. I rang up apple helpline, they suggested me to reset the PRAM which seems work.
restart my macbook. the charger turns to amber and charging till 99% and not turning green anymore.
is that normal?

This is a quote from the page I bookmarked for you to read. "The System Management Controller is an integrated circuit (computer chip) that is on the logic board of the MacBook or MacBook Pro. As the name implies, it is responsible for power management of the computer. It controls backlighting, hard disk spin down, sleep and wake, some charging aspects, trackpad control, and some input/output as it relates to the computer sleeping."
The SMC used to be called the Power Managment Unit. I am surprised that apple did not have you reset this also.
If the battery fall below 96% it will start a charge cycle. Have you callibrated the battery.
It is hard to diagnose the problem till you try all the steps. Let us know how it turns out.

Camera and led light not working after IOS 7 update on iphone 5 help please!!

After I installed the update my led light won't work for the flashlight and my camera doesn't work either. Only the front facing camera works. Any suggestions?

thanks for the suggestions, i tried the ideas you suggested but i dont even get a camera showing for the rear camera, i also noticed the torchlight no longer works. i did all the steps but no luck.
So I took my camera to the genius bar this weekend as well as walking through various steps with the apple guys in ohio support over the net.
With the guys at the genius bar, after i insisted that it must be software as the rear camera stopped working only after the softwre update, they continued to assure me it was hardware and talked me into letting them replace the camera, they then took it to the back and tried fixing a camera and 30 minutes later came out and said the rear camera is no longer being detected and wanted me to replace the motherboard for yet more money. im glad they didnt charge me for the new camera though as it still didnt work.
anyway the motherboard idea i rejected as it was just 2 months out of warranty and had only stopped working the day after the release of 7.0.2, so im going to wait until the next few releases to see what happens, as i dont believe for a second its hardware. i expected a stock answer from apple and its exactly what i got even after my explanation of how it was working the day before the release. not overly impressed with the whole process.
i wanted to back down to 7.0.1 to confirm the camera still works but they said no chance so i cant even see if it still works ouside 7.0.2. anyway will update if i get any further progress.

No Notification LED Light for Missed Calls Since Update

I used to get a LED light notification when a call was missed. Now since the new "update" I no longer get the notification. Anyone else notice this? How do I get the LED notification light back?

This happened to mine right after updating, and was easily fixed by clearing the Cache of my texting and email apps. None of my LED indicators were working, but it's a simple fix. Just go into Settings -- Applications -- Manage Applications -- Select your texting and email apps, and select Clear Cache. That will also fix your call/voicemail notifications. No need to go buy an app.

23" HD Cinema Display LED light

I just received my 23" Cinema HD Display. I plugged it into the wall and the LED light never came on, or blinked. I got nothing. My tower has not arrived so I am waiting on the tower to get here. My question is: Should the LED light come on or blink when I plug the display into the wall? Please don't send me to that link that discusses how the LED light on the new monitors work because it didn't help me at all with my new monitor question.
I also tried plugging my IBM laptop to the monitor using the USB connection and still nothing happened. (I didn't think that would work anyway)

I can understand the monitor screen not turning on. But shouldn't the LED light (the button on the right hand corner of the screen) at least light up or blink or something?

Thank you. I installed this 5.1.7, to no avail. I click on the Safari icon and nothing happens. I uninstalled the other Safari versions, including the later ones eg 10.5.17 before installation. I don't understand. I thought when going from Leopard to Snow Leopard the update program would note Safari version 10.4 there and update it, I just got the message after the update that 10.4 is the wrong version. Have I left out something? Do I need to install somehing else to complement 5.1.7? Thanks

HELP! BB Pearl 8130. Solid Red Led Light. Won't go away.. HELP!

My LED has turned a solid Red color. It's on all the time and is only off when I pull the battery out. My phone does still charge. I've done everything to get rid of it even wiping my blackberry and upgrading the software. I read something about Blackberry Music Gateway? I do use my pearl to listen to Pandora everyday and iheart radio with a 3.5 cable that plugs into the dash of my truck, but it never did this before. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Justin, so you've wiped the device completely and reloaded a new OS... still does the same. Anytime the BlackBerry is powerd on, the LED lights up RED?

HT1551 led light continuously flickers apple logo appears then no signal indicator appears , how can I get back original setting?

Having trouble ,tried giving update and now the led light turns on and off continuosly apple logo appears for a few seconds then the no signal indicator can someone how I can return the unit to its original settings?

last night one of the green led lights in my grips switched on and wont go off unless i remove the battery. i have switched the light
sequences off and they dont flash. this is just on continuously and
running down my battery!

BB 9320 - Screen goes black, LED light off and device unresponsive for a 3-30 seconds, then repeats

Hi there,
I got a BB 9320, then replaced it through the vendor for this same issue but it is still occuring.
When using my phone, fully charged or not, the screen will go black and LED light is off for a 3-30 seconds mid task and the device becomes completely unresponsive. It will eventually come back, and restart the task (ie, if i'm typing a txt messge, it will be back to the message inbox, or for an email back to my email inbox, etc.). It's really frustrating because at times it will continually happen for so long that I give up on using my bb entirely.
I have tried restarting the device to factory settings, removing the battery, keeping it continually charged, draining the battery entirely.
What is happening? How can I fix this??

I would suggest doing a clean reload of the BlackBerry® device software as shown here: http://btsc.webapps.blackberry.com/btsc/KB11320. Please test before restoring any data to the device.
If this resolves the issue do a selective restore of essential data (Address Book, Calendar, Task, Memos, BBM contacts etc.)

SG 200-08 All LED lights flashing green after power failure

Thinking back, about a month ago I updated the firmware (sorry I can't check version at the moment). The switch has been working fine since then. Today I needed to move some power cables and the switch lost power. Now ALL of the LED lights are flashing green and I can't access the switch. I've tried setting a static IP on my laptop to 192.168.1.20, mask 255.255.255.0, and accessing the switch on 192.168.1.254, but there's no response. I've tried holding in the reset button for at least 30 seconds while the switch is powered on, AND while powering it on. None of that has worked. Also when I first power it on, the system LED flashes orange very quickly for a second or so, then all of the LEDS start flashing green.
What am I missing?

Its been a few months, so I don't remember the details, but I think it was a combination of using the reset button and then opening a browser to the default IP address. If you look at the screenshot I posted it has the IP address I used. I downloaded the firmware again and the webpage in the screenshot is where the router is asking me for the location of the firmware I downloaded. After it finished reloading the firmware it worked again.
