Left headphone doesn't work

When listening to music on my iPod Touch, I have found that my left earbud does not get sound. However, the main thing is that it is not my headphones. I use my apple headphones with other iPods and my computer and it works fine and when I plug other headphones into my iPod the sam issue with the left earbud happens. Just wonder what I can do about it.

Did you check the headphone port for any kind of debris or lint? Use canned air to blow it out, if the plug does not get in all the way, you might be losing the sound on one channel.

The headphones don't work
If your iPod's headphones don't work or have static or garbled audio, try connecting them to any other 3.5 mm stereo headphone jack, like the one on your computer. If the issue with the headphones persists, replace them. For an iPod under warranty, you can order a replacement online. Otherwise, check out the cool headphones at the Apple Online Store. If the issue appears to be with the iPod, try resetting it. If that doesn't work, then restore iPod with the latest iPod software using iTunes 7 or later.

X6 headphone doesn't work

Yesterday I test my mobile and my headphone. Unfortunately the headphone doesn't work, I can't heard the voices (in the radio, mp3, videos), and the keys (play,pause..) don't work. In addition, if I test with other compatible XPress headphone, I can listen to music perfectly and I can manage play, pause.. from headphone.
First, I thought the problem was my headphone but, surprisingly, my headphone works in other nokia mobiles, like Xpress 5800 and N79.
I think, there is a problem between the firmware and the headphone, isn't it, any idea??

i seem to be having the same problem. i have read all the posts and tried pushing in the headphone into to the jack as advised till i get a locking click but the issue persists. either there is no sound at all or there is an extremely distorted or yawing noise coming up. this is a fone that has been purchased last week and i am still trying out all its features and one of the main reasons for me to get this fone is to use the music features on it as i travel a lot and i use this while travelling. its very unfortunate that nokia is not responding to my mails or requests for assistance. i am now losing patience with this whole process and am very dissappointed with this product. i would appreciate any suggestions or advise to resolve this issue so that i can use my fone as soon as possible. thanks.

Left Click doesn't work in Hotmail or Yahoo

I was running low on disk space and my IT dept said they deleted some "temporary files". Whatever they did hosed IE so that it reverted from v8 to v7. They redid the IE upgrade and installed a bunch of updates from MS and upgraded Java, but I'm still having a problem in FF. Most sites are fine, but when I go to Yahoo or Hotmail email, left click doesn't work. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling FF. I've tried running FF in safe mode and reinstalling some of the plugins that I thought might possibly have an effect. I still can't get it to work. I've used some of the web dev tools in FF, all I can find out is some of the errors that are reported on page load. On Hotmail, one is that a var called "JQuery" is undefined, among others.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
*Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Headphone doesn't work in windows 7 at macbook pro 13 (early 2010)

I installed all drivers from bootcamp 3.1. But when I plug in headphone, there is no sound in my speaks and headphone in windows 7. But in mac os, that would be fine. And i try to reinstall and update. it still doesn't work. How to solve this problem?

I found a fix for this problem, so here it is.
what you need
1.mac osx dvd [where all the bootcamp drivers are]
2.7-zip software
goto the mac osx dvd, find the cirrus drivers. it should be inside drivers folder.
extract the files using 7-zip and save them on desktop
now goto device manager, and update the cirrus audio manually, when the option of have disk comes, navigate to the desktop folder where u saved the extracted drivers and select the driver file.
when windows gives a list of which drivers to install choose AB77 .
thats it then u'll be good to go after the new drivers install.
if you cannot find the [AB 77] use a disk from a 2009 macbook pro

Left click doesn't work in calculate fields

We have a Windows 8.1 Pro system. We are using Adobe Acrobat 11.0.07. When editing a for in the calculate field we can Select all or Deselect All
or we can select a field but have to hit the space bar to select the field. The Left mouse button doesn't work. Any ideas? We have can left click the field we want on any other OS just not Windows 8.1.

Click a bit off center of the check-box on the left. It's a known bug in
Acrobat.

Rear left speaker doesn't work on X-FI XtremeMu

So I bought this X-Fi xtrememusic..No doubt it works fantastically in gaming and pinpoints the source of sound really well..Well what's my problem? this POS X-Fi doesn't emit any sound from rear left speaker..my speaker isn't the issue here because I tried it with my $0 sound card and rear left speaker works FINE..how the hell $30 worth sound card can't do/perform something that even $0 sound card can do...give me a break Creative...this **bleep** is going back to the store if there is no solution to this.. I've already wasted 2 hrs of my life just trying to reinstall/uninstall newer/older version of their bloated drivers..no avail..What should I do? I'd like to keep this card as it is the best gaming sound card out there right now....

This is getting me pissed now. I have the Fitalty version and everything working fine at first, except for the stuttering in HF2, but now in Game mode only my Front right speaker doesn't work. I do have all the latest drivers on my system and Creative. I only lose my right front speaker in game mode, I swap to entertainment and everything works fine.
I agree with the above poster that its a driver issue, I do know creative has always lacked in that dept (decent drivers) so I have no reason to believe otherwise now.
I've tried alot of various things and sorry for not listing them all, nothing has worked yet.

Help: In Finder, "Applications" in left sidebar doesn't work.

Very weird.
In Finder, "Applications" in sidebar doesn't work now. when I click it, it popups a dialog says "no default applications specified to open document 'Applications'" and no app displayed. And if I right-click it and select "get info", it shows 'Applications' is a package.
What's wrong? It's driving me crazy. No application can be selected now, except in terminal.

I've heard of this sort of thing happening (though I can't imagine how), but the "has bundle" attribute might be set on the folder. If you have the "XCode (Developer) Tools" installed (it is included as an option in the OS X installer disks, or can be downloaded from Apple), try:<pre>sudo /Developer/Tools/SetFile -a b /Applications</pre>

My iPhone 4s left speaker doesn't work...

So I got my new iPhone 4s, and since I got it the left speaker wasn't working. Since then, it still hasn't been working. I can plug in some earphones and you can hear everything thought both of them, but without them I can only hear out of the right speaker. Is there anyways it could be fixed??

3.5 headphone doesn't work on my E52

I've tried different headphones with mic. They won't work on my E52. regular headphones without mic will work but i need the mic to be able to answer calls while on my bike. I don't want to use bluetooth becuase it uses too much battery. Does this mean I'm stuck with Nokia stereo headphones only?

Volume through headphones doesn't work?

When I play my iPod without headphones in or on the iHome, volume works perfectly fine. But when I plug ANY pair of headphones in, and adjust the volume "bar" all the way up, no volume is produced. Anybody have a solution/answer to this without restoration? Thanks everyone.

Have you tried another pair of headphones?
Go to Settings>Music amd make sure that volume limit is off.
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset. Nothing will be lost.
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory defaults/new iPOd.
If you still have the problem then it is likely that the headphone jack is bad. Apple will not replace the jack but will exchange your iPod for this price:

Left click DOESN'T work (laptop)

No changes made to the system before the issue occurred
The left click was working perfectly but the next day was like stuck. After plugging in a USB mouse, which worked, the laptop left click stopped responding at all. I did download all the latest synaptics drivers even reinstalled it but nothing. Then i ran an HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI and tested the mouse and gave me the failure ID : RLMXW2-6B76S5-MFPX0K-G2X203
what should i do now?

Likely the touchpad button board has gone bad and would need to be replaced.
