Left menu in web browser (e-Procurement site) is a mess!!!

Hello people,
When I enter in e-Procurement site, the left menu is a mess!!!
Some items appears repeated and others I have no access.
Do you know what and where I can check to solve this?

Talk to your basis person about this.
The role attached to your system profile in SU01 is having major issues. Ask the Basis person to provide access to SU53 tcode for the mean while to your user.
Once given SU53 access, Logon in SAP GUI, wwith the same user, instead of e-procuremnt site and then Try to execute the tcodes in GUI. If there is some autorization errors. Immediately execute SU53 afterwards, to get the name of the authorization objects.
Provide the screen shot details to BASIS, so that the Basis can provide you the relevant authorization to the transaction in SAP.
Then once this is done by BASIS, you can try out the same will work in web also.

Slow web browsing on some sites / Gmail not working at all!!

Hi, I re-installed OSX on my Intel Mac Mini this week and ever since i cannot get gmail to open at all and some sites are running very slow (including this one i am on right now). But yet my windows laptop (i am using now as i have not got much patience) works fine and gets gmail no problem. The laptop is connected to the same router as my mac.
I am fully updated with OSX, i use Firefox as my primary browser but have also tested in Safari with the same results. I cannot figure it out at all - anyone have any ideas?

Cheers for your help but no joy, put the DNS in as above and nothing changed. I did however try to connect my mac via Airport and that works fine!! weird, so the issue only affects browsing when connected to my cisco router via ethernet! need to do some digging, cheers for replying anyway.

Even though it is available in beta on Adobe Labs,We can download 64-bit Flash Player from Adobe web site.
On 64-bit Win 7 ,I use the web browser plug-in of eclipse SWT to visit our web site ,
and i find the flash could not be displayed ,instead with a small red cross in the top left corner of web browser.
Then uninstall 32-bit flash player and install 64-bit version,the flash could be displayed normally.
So now, i am trying to find a method to detect the arch of the flash player.

When displaying images in web browser, next images appears on page where I left last doc

Hello, I am in need of some help here.
I have an application that displays PDF images using Adobe Reader X v 10.1.4 through a web browser. What is happening is I view a document and scroll down to say page 2.
When I leave that document and go the next one, that document opens on page 2.
Is there anything I can do in the setting of Adobe or the way that I am making my call to show the image through the web browser to display the next image at the top of the page, rather than displaying it where I left off on the last document?
I have tried unchecking the option for Restore last view settings when reopening a document and also open cross-document links in the same window. Both of these had no effect on the issue I am encountering.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In the CSS file under the @media only screen and (min-width: 769px) section, modify the following style rules

Hyperlink styles in menu look correct in editor but wrong in Preview or real Web Browser

The default hyperlink style of my site is:
Normal or Visited links are black, boldface and underlined
Hovering or active links are grey boldface and underlined
Except for my menu where I want them this way:
Normal, Visited or Active links are black, no boldface and no underline
Hovering links are grey and underlined
But I can't manage to do it!
The items appear in boldface with no underlines and no colour change (so the only hint when you hover them is the pointer changing from arrow to hand)
The only different is the last item that is the only one that has submenu and is not a hyperlink by itself. It doesn't appear in boldface but again no underline or colour change. Also the first item of this submenu appears without boldface.
in the editor the menu looks fine but in the preview or when HTML exported, the menu looks as explained.
As Menus behave differently than other hyperlinks, I've tried to click and drill down to the text in the menu then modify the text appearance using the States panel, but as I said, the menu looks fine in the editor but not in the preview or web browser.
I also have tried to remove the menu completely and creating again from scratch, but even with all the default options of the widget (not even font size change nor font type), it appears as non boldface in the editor but boldface in the preview.

Instead of the original Muse file for my site I thought it would be easier for you to have a minimal site that also reproduces the problem so this is the test.muse file I'm sending to you.
Meanwhile, I had to make a workaround for my actual site menu to work as intended by removing the boldface attribute from the hyperlinks default style of the site. This is the dblanco.muse file I'm also attaching. You just have to activate the boldface in the default style to have the problem again.

Published a site in iweb but looks different in the web browser

Hi,
I have published a site in iWeb but it looks different when viewed in the web browser having published a few times.
The pictures have small frames around which display perfectly i niweb but do not show in browser?
The navigation menu is all showing in iweb but again not showing in the web browser?
Not sure what I am doing wrong? I have tried to publish a few times.. checked that all the tick boxes show 'display navigation menu' etc?

And there's no link for the home page. Perhaps you're hiding it.
And see if you can use a shorter, and different, Sitename. It is clear who you are. And just welcome is enough.

Web Browser with Bookmarks menu in xcode?

Hello, I am new to programming and have followed several tutorials on programming a web browser using xcode. So far I have a history menu, a google search, and a url field, and a home button that brings you back to the default homepage. I would now like to implement a bookmarks menu in the menu bar. For the ability to store bookmarks. seeing as how i am new, I have no idea about how to go about doing this. Could someone please either post the code for this feature, or either lead me to a tutorial or give me instruction on how to do this. Than you, any help is greatly appreciated.

I checked my cookie settings, and it looks like I have the Firefox default settings (i.e. cookies are accepted). Tried to submit my inquiry again but it does not work. Please advise how to make sure I can submit inquiries etc.
(2) I want to start using the Google search again but not sure how do change the settings. I do not want to have DuckDuck Go as my default. Would you please describe how to change back to Google? Also, is the problem I described above perhaps related to the DuckDuckGo search engine I use?

On #1, you can check the site-specific cookie setting using the Permissions panel of the Page Info dialog. When you are on the page, you can open that dialog using either:
* right-click the page > View Page Info > Permissions
* click the padlock or globe icon in the address bar > More Information > Permissions
Skim or scroll down to "Set Cookies" to make sure it is not set to Block.
If that is okay, some other random thoughts:
* Are you using the site in a private browsing window?
* Do you recall disabling DOM storage, which sites sometimes use instead of cookies to store large blobs of data (Firefox controls access to DOM storage using your cookie setting for the site)?
On #2, your default search engine should not have changed. To change it to Google, you can use the icon on the left end of the search bar (the classic small search box that appears on the toolbar). Please see: [[Search bar - add, change and manage search engines on Firefox]].
I don't think there is any connection between #2 and #1.

Web browsing shifted to the left

Hi all
Don't know how it happened but I have most webpages loading the page on the left side of the browser. Normally I have the browser on full size covering all of the widescreen. What used to happen was the pages loaded at the centre. Today most are loading on the left side leaving a huge space on the right side of the browser. Sites like planetf1.com or hotmail use to load with all the text and pictures in the middle of the screen....not anymore. I've tried resetting safari but no luck. Any clues?

Planet-F1 is designed as a fixed-width page. There is no adjustments made as you change the browser's window. Make the window too narrow and you get a horizontal scroll bar. Make it wider than the page and you get white space to the right of the page. This page is like the FoxNews example except that Foxnews has a tilling background image so you see that instead of white space when you widen the browser window. I have no idea if Planet-F1 has always been like this or has recently been redesigned as this the first time I can recall that I have gone there.
Pages will be anchored to the left unless they are designed to adjust their size when the browser window width is changed. This represents the two extremes of web-page design.
One the one hand is the browser-independent design theory that the designer has no control over what browser or operating system a user will be using or what size terminal or browser window will be used. In this scenario you purposely design your page so that elements expand or shrink horizontally depending on the width of the browser window.
At the other extreme is magazine or printed page page-layout design. Here the designer wants complete control of what the user sees, including what is placed where. This is an inflexible design that works well for the printed page but which causes scroll bars or extra white-space if the browser window is not the same width as the web page.
Those are the two extremes. Many web sites are designed using a mixture of page-layout and flexible design principles. These discussion forums are an example. The message area expands or shrinks and the tabs stay centered as you widen or shrink your browser window. However, the sidebar and the tabs themselves do not adjust as you change the width of your window.

I want to know how to get the web addresses to go away that appear in the bottom left corner of the browser every time my mouse goes over a link

Any time that my mouse goes over a link on a web page a little box in the bottom left corner of the browser pops up showing the web address for that link and it is really annoying, especially when i am on facebook because there are so many links on the home page i cant move my mouse anywhere without that box popping up and blocking part of my conversations. I was wondering if there was any way to turn this off. I've checked through the options and to my knowledge there is no way to turn it off. Just wondered if anyone else has had this problem or knew if there was a way to get that box to go away.

Another option would be to use the following extension to push those messages into the status bar. It could be a convenient way to have your messages visible when you want them, but with less distraction.
