Left side normal right side Lt. blue

I just noticed that my CRT has take on a very light blue shade on the right side of the screen. Is this the start of something BAD ? Is this condition fixable ? Thanks Much for all feedback.

I'm currently troubleshooting what I believe to be the same problem on a client's 600 MHz Slot iMac, and it's not being caused by the presence of external magnetic fields.
Here's a detailed description of what's happening:
At maximum resolution (1024 x 768) and color bit depth (millions) the screen is fine on the left half while the right half has a color cast "overlay" that changes hue depending on the desktop image in use.
Lowering the color bit depth to thousands puts a black "mesh" pattern (small black dots) over the entire screen. Further lowering the resolution to 256 changes the mesh to somewhat larger white dots.
Lowering the screen resolution produces a series of lines across the entire screen, along with a block of lines which moves vertically along the left edge when the cursor moves. The lines become more pronounced at lower resolutions, making the screen unreadable. At lower resolutions, moving the cursor leaves a colored trail on the screen. The legibility of file names in Finder windows deteriorates but can be restored by forcing a redraw.
I don't have a solution for this problem, but I suspect that it's a scanning issue on a CRT that's about to die.
I'd appreciate hearing from anyone who has seen this problem. I'd also like to know if I'm right in guessing that wp3's problem is the same as what I have described.

This is more of a wishful post that I hope an apple developer stumbles across and thinks is a good idea to put into a future OSX Lion update.
My wish is that when I fullscreen a new app (like safari, chrome, mail, etc.) I can choose where it adds the new space, either to the left of my existing spaces (between desktop and leftmost fullscreen app in mission control) or to the right side, which is what it does now. I've turned off the option that automatically arranges my spaces based on frequency of usage because I was getting annoyed at things not showing up where they were previously when swiping between spaces. Pacman Like Effect (Left Side To Right Side)

I would like a pacman like effect when the character goes outside of the left side of the game window then they come from the right side of the window. My character can only move left and right so they would be using the same left and right parts of the window. I need help on the actionscript for this i am using 2.0 on flash 5

LI2721s 1 inch border on left, top, and right sides

I called tech support but they didn't even seem to know what I was talking about in regards to this monitor, someone will get back to me I was told.
I recently bought this on Amazon, and it looks great, the entire point of me upgrading my monitor was the entire "edgeless" monitor...... but I seem to have a 1.5 inch border (both bezzel, and black bars). Is this just a fact of the monitor, in which case, it should really be told somewhere in the advertising that this monitor has a 1 inch border. Orrrrr its a software issue, either or any help is appreciated.

As I told you guys in Twitter, IMO this is not a technical problem, this is an advertaising problem. The black border is not part of the LCD panel, its part of the transparent plastic that protects the lcd, but is painted, there are no pixels behind that black border.
Can you guys plug one of these monitors and check this by your self and confirm me and the rest of the customers that this is a mistake in the advertising ?. PLEASE TRY IT YOURSELF !

Moving the adjustment menu from the left to the right side on the screen

It is much easier, for a right-handed, to work with the adjustment menu on the right (as it was with Aperture1x). (Basic of ergonomy).
Is it possible to get the same with Aperture 2?

Yes, this was also my first thought when I opened Aperture 2. I also preferred the previous layout, but I don't see the option to split the projects window from the rest. In fact this new layout is not so bad: by pressing the W key one can cycle through projects/metadata/adjustments in the inspector window, have the thumbnails on the left side, thus freeing up a square area for the main viewer (which is quite useful if one does not shoot portrait or landscape format exclusively…).
What I do still miss is the possibility to display the matadata directly below the adjustments - from time to time this would be useful. On the other hand, there is now more room for the adjustment controls, saving me a lot of scrolling.
The perfect interface is always the one we are used to, I guess…

Recording mono, want to copy left side to right side for stereo

I've got a desktop studio and I can record only in mono, when I record in stereo it only records on the left track. is there a setting in soundtrack that I can change so the left track is coppied to the right track at recording???

Record in mono, not stereo. No need to copy from L to R channel in a stereo file. Mono will play in both channels...and you can pan it as you wish.
If you do record in stereo, simply double-click the track and convert it to mono (select L channel for conversion).

Display resolution is different left and right sides

Hi, my HP G42 laptop now has a different display resolution on the left and right sides. The left half seems to have less resolution than the right side, the right side looks like it's in HD, the left side looks washed out. I'm not sure if it is a hardware issue or a setting/software issue. The first time it appeared was after a windows 7 update was completed and installed, I'm not sure if that was just a coincidence. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. It works but is very annoying to look at.

Welcome to the HP Forums! I see that you are having a problem with two different resolutions on each half of your screen. The easiest way to determine where the problem lies is to connect it to an external monitor. If the image is normal then we know it is an issue with the display screen but if the issue occurs on the external monitor then we know it is a problem with the drivers or the video card itself.
What is the product number for your g42? There are a number of different models in that series.

Right-To-Left support is not a single action that you take, and it’s not that simple. In my book, I included a dedicated chapter for the APEX Right-To-Left support, which reviews all the actions you need to take to achieve full Right-To-Left support.
A good start for you (other than ordering the book :) ) is to search this forum for keywords like Arabic, Hebrew and RTL. The forum includes several threads on the subject, which will give you a jumpstart.

Macbook won't select if clicked on the right side. It seems to do nothing.

New Macbook Pro and Windows 7 64bit.
When I try just a regular "left click," the right side of the trackpad clicker does not respond. I have to click it to the left of center or nothing happens.
Does anyone know why this is?

You can also turn OFF Split Keyboard
Settings>General>Keyboard>Split Keyboard>OFF

My iphone 4s screen turned freaked out before my eyes, changing all different colours, now it is blue and black along the right side with horizontal lines, and is flickering. I DIDN'T DROP IT.

I was just sitting on the couch scrolling through facebook, I closed out of that and went to open safari, when it spazzed out, for a few mintutes it looked like LSD vision, it was all different colours and flickering the whole time. I turned it off and on again, and plugged it into my computer and now the right side is nearly completely blue, and bleeds to the left side with horizontal lines, and it is still flickering. I just finished paying the **** thing off. I thought I'd get another year out of it. I have taken exemplary care of it and it hasn't left the case since the day I bought it. I haven't dropped it, there was no warning for the screen to start doing this. So my question is, is there an easy fix (I am about to restore and update it, and I already played around with the screen brightness), and if not, am I going to have to pay for the screen to be replaced, because I don't have that kind money.

Websites are dislayed in the middle of the screen. Half the website is gone on the right side. on the left side it is white. Only when i startup in safetymode the websites are displayed in the center of the screen

When going to a website the picture was small - tried changing the Zoom size , tried Zoom Reset - the text did change size but the layout distorts - found under View - Zoom - Zoom Text Only was checked --- Removed this check mark and the website returned to normal size and Zoom worked normally again. I am 99.9999% sure I did NOT check this myself and there is no one else on the computer to cause it. Maybe this will help.

It it possible to have info on the left and right sides of iweb templates?

You can increase the width of your Page, go into Inspector, Page Tab. From here you can adjust the Content Width, which is the width of your page, the bits that you see on the left and right are fillers, for people who's browsers are set bigger than your site. You can change the color that shows by changing the Browser Background.
In the good 'ole days, most people had screens that were only 800 W x 600 H, but these days most people have at least 1024 W x 768 H (some do, no doubt still have 800x600). So, 1024 is really the max width you can go, dont forget that you need to leave some space for the browser as well, and the scroll bars.
But pages this big are wider than normal, the best thing to do is experiment and see what works for you.

There were some recent ui changes around the downloads manager. What version where you on before? Anyway, you can customize things in Firefox really easily. Take a look at [[Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars|this article on customizing Firefox]] for details. Should be a piece of cake to move the bookmarks button.
As for the color of the button, you might be in [[Private Browsing - Browse the web without saving information about the sites you visit|Private Browsing]] mode. That changes the color of the button from orange to a purplish color.

Iphone 5 White Screen Warm on Left Side, Cooler on Right Side.

I got my iphone 5 almost a week ago. Right away I noticed that the right side looked slightly bluer than the left, with it being coolest at the upper right. When a banner pops up at the top it is real noticeable, when reading text on a background of a white screen the right side looks greyer or bluer. It is slight, but when reading left to right and back to the left it is annoying. My family is not bothered much by it, but I guess they don't have to look at it. Also seems to reflect less light on the right side. I have been trying to ignore it, but I am not sure I will be able to as it always catches my eyes when reading web pages.
I am thinking of going to a genius bar and asking for a new phone. What is the policy for replacements? Do they readily replace phones for issues like this? Do they replace a 1 week phone with another new one or a refurb? Is this a reason for a replacement? Is this a common problem? My son's iphone 5 is fine, and my wife's 4 and my son's and my iphone 4 did not have this slight variance in their screens.
