Left side ports aren't flush. Can I fix this myself?

I'm attempting to dock my 15" mbp into a newly aquired Henge Dock, but the left side ports (specifically the mini display port) aren't flush with the case. It's a matter of a millimeter or two. I was wondering if anyone could provide a tip on if I can fix this myself without voiding the warrenty, or if I can simply take it to an apple store to have it fixed.

No, you certainly can't fix it yourself without voiding your warranty, and it's unlikely that there's enough slop in the positioning of the screws that hold the logic board in place to permit an Apple technician to move the LB closer to the port end of the machine. You can ask, but don't be surprised if the answer is that it's up to the Henge Dock people to produce a product that mates properly with the MBP as delivered. I seriously doubt that there's any significant variation in the positioning of MBP logic boards within their cases.
