Hi, I got a text recently saying that I could save 50% off my next bill. It provided a link: www.verizon50bonus.260mb.org. Has anyone gotten this before? It takes me to what looks like the Verizon home page. Is it legit or a scam?

Greetings, I am interested in purchasing a new version of cs6 master collection, and have found one being offered online for 800 euro, with the download being advertised as off of the adobe site. More clearly, after the download, it appears the purchase price is for the activation... Is this possibly legit, or more likely a scam? Are there authorised resellers who can offer such a service at these savings?

Confused I would recommend that you investigate their return policy if you are concerned. Once you have purchased the software you can register the serial number to your account at http://www.adobe.com/ to verify that it is valid. This sort of email has been occuring for the past month or two...it is a phishing scam and you should not respond. If you check carefully the spelling in the response link you will most likely find one of more misspelled words.

Warning: Scam claiming to be an invoice from Adobe.
Looking at raw headers, the message obviously DID NOT come from Adobe. I'm sure the attached Word doc file has malicious content.
Adobe, please start using digital signatures on your customer email so we will never again have to figure out whether a message like the one below is legit or a scam?

It's probably fake. If desired, type in the address to Apple's iCloud site yourself instead of following the link in the email.

Got an iMessage saying there was an unauthorized sign-in on my iCloud account?

I got an iMessage from "[email protected]" saying "Apple ID Security Alert Apple has detected an unauthorized sign-in attempt with your iCloud accout". I was just wondering if this was legit or a scam?

You should report to Apple since it is using .icloud.com

I Still don't get why people can't, or just won't? go back to the shop or contact online store to deal with them directly, what gives with this gen, i mean i see a lot of people reporting issues with returns to sony, either returning faulty or late, are retailers refusing to exchange a faulty console/controller whithin the original 12 months consumer rights law?.. if so can they do this?, seems this new service 'might' just be a way to appease retailers who've 'perhaps?' had many faulty returns, and have told sony there getting fed up, with the customers who stand the ground IF told 'return it to sony', as if this is what i was told by my retailer i'm afraid i would not budge, policemen would need to be called etc, whereas other people might not be prepared to go as far and take retailers 'advice' to just send it off to sony, correct me if i'm wrong, but also once you actually do involve sony for a repair, instead of point of purchase, you lose any lawful claim against retailer, as they merely say, 'that is not the item we sold you', at least that is how it worked with ps3, touch wood my ps4 has been trouble free, since December, but IF like ps3 i will probably be buying two or three more in years to come, before next gen etc, so i really hope retailers/sony are not attempting to move the customers rights of a at least 12 months fit for purpose gaurentee, which we are entitled to on most every product we buy, certainly expensive electrical items. All i know is my advice to anyone is only send it to sony if you Have to, lost reciept so on, look forwards to learning exactly what the situation is atm, re faults and who is responsible, and if it is legit or some scam.

Got a warning about a reported attack page. Described what an attack page is, and then there was a linked button to install as update for Mozilla/ Firefox. scam or legit? I took a screen shot and then closed the window. What should I do now?

I was in Zyngas/ facebook frontierville doing my thing and then this "information" came up on the scree, not as a pop-up. Panicked for a few and then realized that it could be a scam and wanting me to click on the button to do exactly what it described an attack page would do. I have a screen shot of it, no idea how to post it here, even if I can. Did I do the right thing, and how do I keep it from happening again?

What happens when we receive what seems to be a legitimate warning? My message looks like that at the 'Reported web forgery' and 'Reported attack site' links. Can we just choose to 'Ignore this warning'?
