Lenovo A3500-FL Android Tablet. Won't Enrypt

Hello. Not sure if anyone else has run into this problem, but my A3500-fl won't encrypt. It starts to reboot but that's all it does. Never encrypts, and it's keeping me from adding my work email to it.

I downloaded an interactive PDF and there is a video on the last page that won't play on my tablet, but plays on my computer. I downloaded the latest version of Flash from the adobe archives, as well as an updated reader. Any ideas on what I can do to make the video play?

You cannot use Flash content in PDFs on Android, even if you manage to install the obsolete Flash for Android from somewhere. It just isn't supposed to work.

Lenovo A3500 tablet warranty issue!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello, my situation is totally surreal. I bought (in Thessaloniki Greece) in 19/5/2015 the tablet Lenovo A3500 from an online shop. In 26/5/2015 I tried to check if the 3G feature works (I used wifi until then) so I placed my sim card in the sim card tray and I noticed that the sim couldnt stay inside it pop out (didnt lock inside so I could close the small lid). In 27/5/2015 I went back to the store (they have some stores to collect your products) they said we wil tke a look at it but as it seems since it is brand new we will send it to the dealership. In 3/6/2015 the store informs me that they send it to lenovo greece dealership. Yesterday 5/8/2015 after two months they called me back to tell me that the dealership cut off the warranty and that they wanted me to pay about 55 euros extra to fix my problem because I mishandled the tablet. Are they serioussssssssssss????????????? I built my previous laptop from scratch and I couldnt handle a sim card????? Can you please tell me how can I proceed I am so mad I got to deal with this brand, and the thing is here in Greece they only have a telephone number which I will use today, but I was hoping whether another buyer had a similar issue so I could get an advice

I own a Lenovo A3500-FL with A3500FL_A442_01_25_140823_BG and I have exactly the same issue. I do not believe there is something the user can do to fix this problem. Lots of Android devices had issues with wifi (Samsung Galaxy S3 is one of many) which have been solved with firmware/driver updates. As you can tell, it's been more than 2 weeks and you did not receive any reply yet. What we (users/owners) have to do is find a way to "raise awareness", inform Lenovo with other means and make sure that this issue is going to be officially confirmed and resolved.

Lenovo A3500 FL wifi issue

I bought a Lenovo A3500 for present to my sister.. After a week se notice that even if the wifi signal is seems strong the tablet cannot load internet pages etc. She turns off/on the wifi and can load anything instantly.. After 15minutes again the same problem..
What can we do?

could not help me because the greek e-shop that i purchaced it import them
from Romania !!! and I told them so what? its a Lenovo product ! can you
help me ? I still wait a reply that never came. So I put the tablet back in
its case and only in special occasions work's (as a game machine or picture
frame). Final this particular machine in public wifi with android 4.2.2 has
a problem and Lenovo did nothing. So I recoment to anyone I know do NOT BY
LENOVO.

A7-40 (A3500-FL) android upgrade dilemma

I've bought Lenovo A7-40 that came preinstalled with android 4.2.2 (Build number A3500FL_A422_01_15_140402_BG). Almost everything works perfectly. The only thing that is giving me trouble is Youtube - videos are stuttering and laggy - they are not running well. If i play 720p or 1080p or any other video is working fine, so the problem maker is youtube application. Otherwise the tablet is blazing fast and responsive, no problems at all. Battery is great too.
The problem i have is the update to kitkat.. I've been refusing it since i got the tablet. The OTA is offering me a newer version (A3500-FL_A442_01_S026 (modify the version number T26). I guess this is the final version?
I read alot about problems with WIFI, GPS, battery draining faster, lower perfomance and many users with wishes to return to 4.2.2 - this is why I'm scared to upgrade. I want to hear from you, if there has been any updates regarding that and if the latest version of avaible kitkat for our A7-40 actually works without problems? Should i upgrade? Is there more versions of kitkat or only one? I would wish to have a working Youtube, but im scared that then the other things would start making problems - therefore i would lose more than gain. I had similiar story with my phone (non lenovo), that's why i want to make precaution..

How can I pair Firefox browser intalled on Android tablet with my TV?

My TV is connected to my home network internet through Smart Hub on Samsung Blu-ray. The Smart Hub has its own browser which is very slow and can not be paired with my Android tablet. I could pair YouTube with YouTube/pair though ! I tried to download FF, but the Smart Hub won't do it?
In short, how can I run the internet from my laptop or Android tablet ?

NEED HELP with Keyboard for Yoga 2 Android Tablet

I have just spent more than an hour talking with Lenovo Sales/Customer Service tying to find out why the Yoga tablet I bought my son for Christmas doesn't have a keyboard (I purchased the tablet directly from Lenovo).

I called sales 4 times and each time I get a different answer: they are out of the keyboard, buy the keyboard from BestBusy or Amazon, there is no keyboard (even though it is pictured), it will have a keyboard but no one knows when.
I did buy the keyboard I was told by a chat with Lenovo from Amazon but it is not the correct keyboard and now I'm stuck with a tablet without a keyboard and keyboard without a tablet.
Customer Service won't help saying it's a sales problem and Sales says there is nothing they can do and transfers me to Customer Service. It is infuriating.
My son is so dissappinted. He only wanted this tablet because it came with a keyboard (we thought) and he can use it at school. We will likely return the tablet if it was misrepresented on the Lenovo webiste.
Does anyone know if and when the keyboard will be available?

The keyboard is also supposed to be a cover s seen in the photos. We bought the tablet because it clearly shows a keyboard case if not included at least available.
I was willing to purchase the keyboard cover but first Lenovo sales said they were out and said to purchase the keyboard (also Lenovo) at BestBuy instead but it turned out to be the wrong keyboard (not the one in the picture - too big, falls off and likely to break). Then I was told by someone else in customer service there was no keyboard and the picture is of the prototype. Then I was told by someone else in sales that there may be one coming out in the future but no one knows when and how much it will be.
Today I had to spend more than an hour being bounced around and not getting an answer. We really want the keyboard as shown in the picture. Unfortunately because we thought the folks in sales knew about the tablet, we bought the wrong keyboard at their instruction and now it can't be returned.

Flash CS5.5 :Android App won't match screensize

I have created an app for ipad recently with Flash CS5.5. It works just fine, but now I'm trying to publishing it for android devices such as the samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. When I set the document dimensions to 1280x800 the app won't match the screen resolution of the tab and the app displays white bars for filling the gaps.
I tried to enlarge the document width to 1380 pixel but the height won't fit on the other hand...
I exported it landscape view and fullscreen.

I want to ask bout your IdeaPad A1 Android tablet. It would seem it is still with Android 2.3. Any plans to update it to Honeycomb 3.2 at least?
How can i be confident if lenovo do updates very often unlike other makers?
Is there a newer/updated version of your 7" tab? should i wait?
Where re the speakers located on the A1? does it have some sort of surround sound option?
Does it have full Android market access?
Does the camera do 720p recording @30fps in stereo sound?
does it have the usual wifi. bluetooth, DLNA specs?
how do charge the device? how long is the battery life?

This is a user forum, not a Lenovo company resource. We are all just users like you. Lenovo makes two IdeaPad tablets, and a ThinkPad tablet. You are going to have a hard time finding the features you want under $300. The A1 (which is a 7" entry-level tablet) will not come close to meeting your desires. Perhaps others can discuss the K1 and ThinkPad. You probably should be looking at iPad-level equipment.

Flash player for android tablet

downloaded archived version of flash player onto android tablet but only get settings not actual app

There is no more Flash Player for Android and there won't be another. Android is no longer compatible with Flash Player. Archived versions WON'T run on anything newer than 4.0, as well, and even then you'd have to "sideload" it and make several changes to get it to work, and you'd run into numerous pages and sites that will tell you you need to update to the latest Player. Honestly? it's a waste of time. Playing Flash content is very processor consumptive and it drains your battery, also shortening the life of it. Android (Google) recommends using either "Dolphin" or "Puffin" as your browser if you need to view Flash content with a mobile device running Android. They're both free in the GooglePlay store. These browsers use "server side" rendering to reduce the load on your device.

Any idea if ipad3 will bring android tablet style phone capabilities to Apple?

Using a free gift ipad2 at moment, and while until now I cringed at the thought of owning Apple, it's starting to grow on me.
You learn work work around the limitations of types of apps that the app store won't sell, and the UI is much better than Android IMO.
However I intend to make my next tablet a replacement for both my current tablet and current phone. I know some of the higher end Android tablets (eg Samsung Galaxy Tab) allow making phone calls the same as it you were using a (speaker)phone, and I'm just wondering if it's worth waiting to see if Apple catches up with the iPad3.
Thoughts?
PS by making a call I don't mean some USA only or online number only app solution, and I don't plan to hold the tablet to my head to make calls (I don't hold my phone that way as it interferes with the conversation recording app).

Skype lets you phone landlines, for a fee.
Speculation about iPad3, if there will ever be such a device, and what it might do is pointless and against the terms of these forums.

How can I install BBM on Lenovo A3500 ?

I have searched BBM using google play store and lenovo A3500 tablet. But I could not find it. It seems google hide it. Maybe google thinks the application is not compatible with the tab.
My question : Is it true that the tab is not compatible with BBM ? So we can not use BMM on it ?

Lack of support for the Android Tablet Forum

It seems there is a lack of Lenovo involvement in the Android Tablet forum. I'm posting here in order to point this out as someone with Lenovo really needs to follow up on the issues there. Many of us are waiting on the Lollipop update for our tablets and the roadmap states that an update was released, yet no consumers have it. It even went so far that a Lenovo employee told people that their Lollipop update would be released country by country starting that day, and almost a month later, no one on the forum has it (possibly no one worldwide). This lack of support will drive some customers away. We don't ask for much, just keep us up to date and let us know that our issues are not ignored. Right now, we feel ignored. The hardware of the tablets are very nice and extremely capable, we just need some guidance and answers.

Lenovo just doesn't care. All they want is a quick sell with absolutly NO SUPPORT !!.They may well sell good hardware but it is all useless without some support. Are all companys this bad?

Suggestions for sturdiest cases for Lenovo Tab 2 A10 tablet?

Hi, I'm thinking of buying a Lenovo Tab 2 A10 tablet and I'm also looking to get a sturdy case to put it in. The sturdier case (like military grade even) the better. I looked up many sites that all show cases for the Galaxy Tab 2. It looks pretty much the same in size, but I could make out judging only by the photos if all the port holes were also compatible with the Lenovo tablet. I'll also contact Lenovo customer support to see if the recommend a list of cases, but right now I was wandering if anyone knows/owns of a sturdy case that could do the trick. thanks.

Omg, where do I begin? First of all I can't even bring up the **bleep** keyboard to type this response. I'm using the tablet right now to type this message in another application so I can cut and paste. Lenovo Tab 2 A7-10F Android 5.01 Lollipop ROM bugs: 1. Update initially soft bricked the tablet at boot. (Hard Reset required (Power button + Volume Down boots into recovery mode) [Fixed issue] 2. Dolby sound was VERY low. (Wiped all Dolby app data) [Fixed issue] 3. Poor Wi-Fi reception & range. (Seriously you have to be right next to the **bleep** source of the Wi-Fi signal or else it's slow as F****. [Unresolved issue] 4. Bluetooth connection issues. Paired devices take forever to sync, I have to reboot the tablet and reboot the Bluetooth device or Remove the device and Pair it again from scratch. [Unresolved Issue] 5. In portrait mode regardless of the application in use the front facing camera, if oriented on the right hand, side turns the screen off briefly several times until you rotate the screen into landscape then it stops. I can't begin to tell you how F**** annoying this is and it happens often. This tablet does not have a proximity sensor and I theorize is using the crappy camera adhoc to shut the screen off. [Unresolved issue] Looking back I should have purchased a Nexus 9. I wasted more time and gray hair than I expected and still have issues unresolved. I will never purchase another Lenovo Tablet.
