Hi
Please go to Settings-->Apps-->All and search for Pinyin. If you can't find the Pinyin input just download it from
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.inputmethod.pinyin
Also you can use a third party keyboard like TouchPal and download whatever language you want..including Chinese handwriting or PinYin. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cootek.smartinputv5
BTW.If you set Chinese as the system default language...Still can't use PinYin?
Hope this helps.

  • Error in website page for Chinese input

I'm not sure if any BlackBerry employee will read this, but this page has a mistake: http://help.blackberry.com/en/blackberry-classic/10.3.2/help/mar1396971895492.html The bottom picture of the keyboard is a duplicate of the top one. Thus I can't find the keyboard layout for the Zhuyin / BoPoMoFo input. By the way, I would absolutely love to find a place that sells the physical keyboard for that. Managed to find one on eBay for the Q10 a while ago, but even that one is gone now. I have a feeling you have to go to a ship in Taiwan to get one, as it's only sold as part of the official Taiwanese handset.

Thanks for reaching out ! I've passed your feedback along internally.

  • Bug in Chinese input (Pinyin Simplified)

Hello, I think I've found a bug in the OS' language input for Chinese input. It just doesn't seem to like writing the combination of letters 'zhe'. This is really annoying, as these letters spell the Mandarin for 'This', amongst other things, so I want to use it quite a lot. Every time I try to write 'zhe' using 'Pinyin- Simplified' it works fine for the first two letters, then when I type 'e' it beachballs and then just writes the English letter 'e' instead of giving me a choice of characters spelt 'zhe'. The 'zh' just disappears. Any more writing is just rendered in the English alphabet, despite the symbol for Pinyin- Simplified being displayed on the menu bar, unless I switch out and in of input languages. Resetting in this way doesn't cure the problem. This only seems to happen for 'zhe' as far as I can discover - 'zhou', 'zhi' 'zhang' etc. render in Chinese just fine.
Perhaps someone could test this on their machine, and let me know whether it's a problem with my computer or the OS, and give me suggestions on how to fix it, if possible? I'd be grateful for any help.

    I can't duplicate your problem with 这 or 你。But I am only on 10.6.3.

  • Chinese input in Gnome via scim

I really love this distrobution. Its fast lean and mean. However, I am having trouble with Chinese fonts and especially Chinese input via scim. I have installed the required packages, but it still doesn't seem to work. Does anyone have clear, step-by-step instructions to install and configure scim with both Traditional and Simplified characters? I believe that any clear instructions for setting up Chinese input via scim would also benefit other non-native English speakers, as, scim provides an input system for a variety of languages including Japanese, Korean, Thai, etc... Just an idea for the Arch maintainers... Relatively hassle-free internationalization IS a good idea.

I don't think there is any solution for Intel machines (except maybe running Windows and doing it there). See this page and ask on the Chinese-mac mailing list. They are the experts:

  • Can you have set points for analog inputs

if you install an analog input can you get set points that trigger either an alarm or a motor to turn on or off
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

In SignalExpress you can use alarms for triggering logging on and off:
Alarms Page - LabVIEW SignalExpress Help
As for turning motors on and off, SignalExpress is not meant for control applications.  For controls, you should use LabVIEW either entirely or use a LabVIEW VI from SignalExpress.  To do the latter, you could use a LabVIEW VI step in SignalExpress that will execute a LabVIEW VI that does the control processing and outputting that you want.  That way you could work in the SignalExpress environment for all the data acquisition, and you would only have to use LabVIEW to program the control VI (or VIs).

  • N81 set up for Chinese but want to beable to send ...

Hello , I hope someone can help me with a problem we have. We bought a N81 mobile phone in Macau earlier these year. Lao Po likes the phone alot but she is having a problem with it. She normally send text messages in Chinese but sometimes she wants to send a text message in English. She can not. She is able to access English letters but as she tries to enter a full word the phone predicts what she want to input and inputs a word automatically for her. For instance she will start to input the letters for lettuce but instead the phone puts in the word letter. Is there an easy way that she can turn off or deselect the "predictive" mode when she is texting in English. I looked at the manual on line but where the way they say to do it does not seem to work. Thanks for any help you can give me. Nokoki.

and if she did have that set up then you can download the Find My iPhone app on your iPad, ask her (/relatives) to log in on the app and you should be able to track it, erase it or put it in lost mode provided that it is connected to the internet.

  • Crystal Report with text(csv) data file, can we set it as input parameter?

    Hi,
I am a new user of Crystal Reports 2008.
I have created a report with charts in it. The input data comes from a csv text file.
Can I set the name of this text file as an input parameter?
as I need to generate 44 similar reports with different text filenames(and data)?
    Thank you.
    Regards

    Brian,
    Thanks much.
I did exactly what you said.
Just to see any change, I first gave a bad report file name just to see if I am accidentally pointing to a different file,
but I got an error saying report not found.
Then I renamed my original datafile name and generated a report and it still generated one without giving an error.
Then I also gave a junk name to the logoninfo and printed that name, the new name was assigned to logoninfo, but the code did not error out.
It ended up generating the report.
Now here is what I think is happening,
    1) The save data in report option seems to be still on even though I have turned it off in 2 locations
    a) file -> Report Options
    b) file -> Options -> Reporting tab.
    2) For some reason the logoninfo is getting ignored as well.
Since I did not see any answers yesterday I posted a link to this thread on the .Net forum
Crystal Report with text(csv) data file, can we set it as input param? C#
and Ludek Uher says that I am connecting to the text file via a DAO database engine and so need to use the same code for changing the text file as for changing an Access database.
But the link he gave me tells me to try the same thing that we have been trying..
    Here is my plan,
    1) I will first try and find out why my save data with report option is still on ( but it shows off in Crystal ).
    2) why is LogonInfo getting ignored.
Meanwhile any suggestions from anyone are welcome.

  • Crystal Report with text(csv) data file, can we set it as input param? C#

    Hi,
I am new to the forums and posted a question which belonged to the .net - SAP Crystal reports group.
Can someone help me with my problem? following is the thread that I have started.
Crystal Report with text(csv) data file, can we set it as input parameter?
    Thank you in advance.

Looking at the original thread, you are connecting to the text file via the DAO database engine:
"I added the text file as follow, new connection -> Access/Excell (DAO) -> select the file and the database type as text"
Thus I would use the same code for changing the text file as for changing an Access database. See Kbase [1218178 - Error: "Logon failed" when connecting to Access database in .NET application|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/oss_notes_boj/sdn_oss_boj_bi/sap(bD1lbiZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/spn/scn_bosap/notes%7B6163636573733d36393736354636443646363436353344333933393338323636393736354637333631373036453646373436353733354636453735364436323635373233443330333033303331333233313338333133373338%7D.do] for more information. If that does not work, you may want to consider connecting via ODBC or feeding the data from the text file to and ADO .NET dataset and pointing the report at the dataset.

  • Setting the colour red for an input field or a text-field in a table

    Hy,
I am using an input-field or text-field within a table-cell. For some rows in the table the text in the input-field / text-field should be red. How can I do this ?
    Florian Hroch

Create a new attribute "TextColor" of type "com.sap.ide.webdynpro.uielementdefinitions.TextViewSemanticColor" (local DDIC types), under the table's data source node.
Bind the "TextView.semanticColor" property of the table cell editor to this attribute.
If you cannot add new attributes under the data source node (this is the case if there is a structure binding), add a value node "TableProperties" (cardinality 1:1, selection 1:1) under the data source node and add the attribute there.
Then you can control the color of the TextView in table row at index i by setting the "TextColor" value for node element at index i.
For an input field, you cannot set the text color, a workaround might be adding an icon in an extra column.

  • The general language setting for my Ipad is simplified Chinese, but my appstore is all in korean

the language setting for my ipad is simplified chinese, but the appstore are all in korean, what's wrong with my ipad 2? and how can I fix it?

Sounds like your Apps Store is set to the wrong country for the AppleID you are using on your iPad. You need to go to the Apps Store on your Computer, and then scroll down to the very bottom of the screen. There you will see a little flag button. Click on it, and select the flag for the correct country. That should fix your issue.
    Hope this helps!

  • Rime Chinese Input Set Keyboard Layout

    Hello,
I am trying to install rime chinese input. Unfortunately I have a keyboard with a QWERTZ-Layout, which I am very accustomed to. I am using rime in Gnome Shell. Is there any way to keep the German keyboard layout whilst switching to rime? My chinese is not very good, so I hope this forum appropriate for this question.
    Any help is welcome.
    Edit:
I solved it for the while by tweaking the rime.xml in /usr/share/ibus/component/
    This is my customized file:

Edit2: Unfortunately rime only gets started with the original layout somehow. Thus I reverted to simply tweak the <layout> option in the default engine in the rime.xml file.

i use fcitx-rime, you can change the layout for rime in the input method configuration panel while not change you system layout.
