I am facing very low ram issues. even after clearing ram by default ram cleaner I only get 110-115 mb ram.
I also donot recieve real time whatsapp notifications but i am receiving gmail notifications even after clearing ram.

when i first time boot my lenovo A6000 i had around 400mb ram free, then after 3days of reguler usage now i have only 50 to 100mb ram free.
when i kill all apps by deafault kill app it shows between 180 to 250mb ram free but again after 10-15sec it shows between 50 to 100mb ram free.
i also updated my device current version - Kraft-A6000_S029_150212.
ram is very low beacuase of this vibe ui ?
please lenovo solve this low ram issue.

If you really want this then you should type BCDEDIT.EXE /Set IncreaseUserVa <value> where "<value>" is the amount of MB you want your applications to be able to see.

Lenovo A6000 RAM management observations

Hi lenovo,
I have made few observations which i believe are issues and need to fixed by lenovo.
I have been using Lenovo A6000 since a week and noticed the following.
1. Initially the RAM on first boot was around 460 MB.
2. After using it for 2 days, i observed the RAM was around 50-100mb free.
3. When i play a game and pause it and go to home and again when i open it, the games starts from the beginning but not from where i paused it. This is not the case with apps.
4. Sometimes the apps like Skype, Ucbrowser does not get installed on the SD card and displays message as " Unable to install on the location"
5. When i set pattern Unlock, i have to press a bit hard at the points to get it unlocked.
6. The RAM sometime shows very low(50- 100 MB free) and sometimes show around 400mb free.
There is a problem with RAM algorithm for sure.
I have updated the phone to the latest update available.

Also sometimes
1. autorotate gets activated automatically.
2. Audio profiles changes to outdoor automatically.

IPad 2 freezes, RAM memory gets very low

My iPad 2 WiFi (ios 7.02) will often freeze when memory gets very low. A memory manager shows the RAM gets as low as 20mb. It was doing this before upgrading to ios 7. It is even worse now. No apps are set to refresh in background.

You cannot be certain at all that the freeze is memory related, otherwise it would be happening on all iPads.
Try a reset first: Press and hold both Sleep/Wake and Home buttons until the Apple logo appears.
If the reset doesn't fix it, try a restore:

If a restore did not fix it, you have a hardware issue--possible bad wi-fi radio.
Basic troubleshooting steps.

% CPU is consistently very low, never reaches over 30%. Nothing gets more than 5% anytime!

I used to have the problem of over 100% CPU usage all the time, but the last few months, it's been the opposite problem. %CPU is never above 30%. Individual apps never get more than 10% ever, and it's more like 3-5% at any time. System and User apps are getting the same treatment.
I see Index running constantly, and all applications hang after every click or swipe.
I've verified and repaired permissions numerous times. Every time, there seems to be these little errors.
What could I try?

Problem description:
CPU % Usage is very low all the time. Even when I have many operations running, and many of them are usually high-CPU users.

Very low on memory

I have a 3 Mhz AMD processor, 500GB hard drive with 400GB free, Windows XP Pro SP3, 4 GB RAM. The application is PRE9.
I've searched the forum and read the "solution" to this problem but am afraid to apply it because I have other memory-hog applications. Here are my questions:
If 2 GB of virtual memory are applied to the application, what causes it to reapply the 2GB? Is it closing, then restarting the application? Is it restarting the system?
If it's either of the two above, they are not working for me. I got the "very low memory; save your project" message for the first time the other day. Now I get it every time I open the application and start to work on a project. Even after a reboot. I open a project, and after the first edit, it gives me the message.
In other words, PRE9 is now unuseable. The projects are not large. The .avi clip I'm trying to work on right now is 1.5 MB and all I want to do is Auto Adjust Color. The color correction applies, I click play to see it in the Monitor workspace, and the message pops up.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I used the trial version for a couple of days without downloading all the 4.3 GB of Content. After purchasing the software, I did install the additional Content. After that is when I got the message for the first time. Could the additional content be the culprit? I'll probably never use it because the edits I do are very simple color correction, audio adjustment, and deletion of unwanted frames? Can you uninstall just the Content?
Could it have anything to do with Adobe CS5 Bridge running in the background? That was a problem with installation. However, doesn't seem to help now. But if that is the problem, how can I turn Bridge off from running in the background so I don't have to remember to exit it every time I reboot?
I use these small video clips interspersed with still pictures in a slideshow created with different software. I won't ever be making large movies with menus, animation, and most of the neat features of PRE9.

No, my projects and video are on the 500 GB drive with 400 GB free.
I just went back into the 1.5 MB project, did nothing to it, just tried to play it. That's when I get the message. I now realize that is when I always get the message -- when I try to play.
I also decided to ignore the message and see what would happen. The color correction that I applied before only lasted for a few frames instead of for the entire clip. Additionally, the audio is now messed up.
I was having none of these problems before I applied the 4.3 GB Content. Could that be the problem?

It has always had very low volume and I find I generally have to have the volume up into the 70's 80's as well as the onscreen media player slider almost full - which then gets all distorted - and then have to turn it down again when not using the player as the computer error beeps come screaming out., Ive checked the settings on speakers to make sure all are the same & balanced and also have updated any codecs as needed. Is there a sound lever setting elsewhere?

Well @ 1333Mhz I was using the rated timings 9-9-9-24 (as per Corsair) but it wasn't very stable as I said.
I have since changed the FSB/RAM ratio to get 1066Mhz and it seemed much happier. (@1.5v) It would be nice to run the RAM at it's rated setting but my OC skills aren't that extensive. I imagine it would need alot of tweeking? Or could I have just relaxed the timings a bit?
Would removing the Switch Cards make any difference?

Lenovo X220 and low volume [specially in Linux]

Hi everybody,
i've googled this issue and found it affects other users, but didn't find any solution.
Problem is the audio level of my Lenovo X220 is very low, in the sense that there must be zero noise in the room to be able to hear the sound. I found the same happens in Windows, but in that case there's a workaround using some setting from the Control Panel.
I am on Chakra-Linux (but I had the same problem in Opensuse) and use pulseaudio (but the same occurred even before i switched to it).
Any suggestion? Thanks!

I use VLC media player, which allows me to boost the volume beyond the 100% listed level. I believe that when I was using an Xseries, I had pulseaudio installed at the same time as VLC.

un-installing and reinstalling the drivers.
Installed the original drivers via HP's website sp53222 for my particular model. HP Pavilion HPE h8-1070t
Any suggestions? would be greatly appreciated. It would appear IDT who I also emailed and they never responded is responsible for a codec pack that is not fully functional with this motherboard.

Did you access the Catalyst Control Center in programs and look at the latest updates for your graphics card and make sure you didn't download the audio drivers they self install and are checked automatically each time you attempt an update for the card.
Did you right click on the speaker in the system tray and go into recodring devices make sure everything is setup propper there sometimes they too can change.
I'm familiar with cakewalk but never used it on Win7 its been many years since I played around with that. If you are using the onboard audio card and it has worked before and not now if I were in your situtation I would attempt to reisntall the dirvers via device manager they do sometimes become corrupt especially if you picked up any malware that was removed by your antivirus software due to the drivers and malware both reside inwindows\system32.
After the reisntall of the drivers if the issue is not resolved I would upgrade the audio card with a PCIe x1 component such as:

After I paid for a real soundcard with Recording: 24-bit/96kHz and Sound Output Mode - 7.1 and bypassed my onboard audiocard I never had any issues again. My onbaord worked too in the begining for certain things than stopped mysteryously and the reinstallation became ineffective after a while so I decided the money for the tower was invested mainly in the CPU i7 the RAM and HDD.
*** Note if you did install the audio drivers for the graphics card you will have to change the onboard audio in the BIOS from automattic to enabled. Otherwise you will have no sound at all. So never take the audio drivers for the graphics card unless you need them for DVR recording or something. The PCIe audio cards are never effected by this however only the onboard audio. Another reason onboard is a cheap way to go and HP bundles it as cheap as it can my friend.

Lenovo A6000 displaying all contats as unknown(Not even displaying Caller's Phone Number in details)

I recently bought a lenovo A6000 smartphone. Whenever i receive a call it is not showing any Caller ID details(not even Caller's Phone number). It is showing as Unknown caller and in details there is no information regarding phone number.
Can somebody please help me in fixing this issue.

It looks to me that itsTalkTalk you should be annoyed with, someone moving into an adjacent flat, so the address will be very similar, calls whoever they want to use, you seem to think it's BT but don't say why you think it's BT, and says they want service, the customer service rep incorrectly identifies your mothers flat and says there is already a line in the flat, do you want to take it over, they obviously said yes, this is what generated the letter from TT, and when you called them they should have rejected the takeover and the whole job would have been cancelled, this obviously didn't happen. The line in the exchange is swapped over, that's why for a short period your mother had another number on the line, confirmed by the fact you got a call from another number , called it back and your mother answered, and she got a call on that number from someone calling their own mother, but yours answered... The person from the other flat reports a fault, line not working, it never could work as the order was a takeover not a provide, Openreach send an engineer who moves the physical cable pair from your mothers flat to the other persons flat to give them service, because they have a valid account and your mother no longer has. TT should have followed your instruction when you said you hadn't asked for the line to be taken over, and presumably the new 'neighbour' should have taken more care when calling their provider with the address, and shouldn't have said yes to taking over an existing line when they couldn't have been sure there was a line in their flat. Its not much help, but these things happen in multi occupancy residences, especially when someone doesn't know if a line exists where they are moving to, and who the service provider with that line is. Even if you are correct and the new neighbour with your mothers 'line' is with BT, they are unlikely to be able to do anything for a TT customer, it's up to TT to sort this out for you and your mother.

Lenovo P780 - very weak network signal

very low/weak signal. always no network signal even in 3G COVERAGE. SOME area can reach 1 or 2 bar signal, but other phone with same network and same place got 3G and full signal. I had install signal booster, but nothing was changed. Thanks.

Hi, I have the same problem as well. I bought this phone from Malaysia, from a shopping outlet (Txxxx) and I am sure that it is original set with warranty. I use 2 SIMs, since it is dual SIM, dual standy but 1 pass then I can configure 1 SIM for data plan whereas another is for call and sms. It is cheaper for me. Both of the SIMs are from the same service provider. All of the time, SIM2 will lose connection when the signal is low (rural area, office area), it become "X". Then for sure it is not service provider problem as SIM1 is OK. I guess SIM1 has higher priority than SIM2. What I have to do to enable back SIM2 by turning off SIM1 and SIM2 in Settings then turn on SIM2 then SIM1. But once I turn off SIM1 (plane/flight mode), I can see that SIM2 is back to normal. The signal bar is full. I just guess that both SIMs might be fighting resources when signal is low and SIM2 will always lose out.Hi arj99, you are using1 SIM or dual SIM as I think might want to switch back to use 1 SIM only.It would be nice if there is a solution from Lenovo on as if a phone cant make call then it is kind of stupid as this is the basic requirement of a phone.

Lenovo a6000 3g speed issue

I recently puchase Lenovo a6000 in India from Flipkart. Inserted 3G enabled SIM Card in 4G/3G/2G slot. I enabled the data and tried to use it for some time but the speed was very less. Installed Speedtest.net to check the speed and noticed that the speed is always around 325kbps.
Just to make sure I inserted the SIM card in Motorola Moto E and noticed that the 3G speed is around 5-6MBPS. Concluded that the issue is with Lenovo a6000 handset.
Also, I noticed that i'm not getting appropriate speed with Wifi as well. I have a ISP with 4MBPS speed but I whenever I check the speed I get around 3.34MBPS only.
I have attached screenshots below for both 3G and Broadband data speeds.
Can you please help me to fix this.

Lenovo A6000 Antivirus database out of date..asking to purchase..

Hi Lenovo,
My phones Antivirus database is out of date and i am asked to purchase license to update them.
Why should i pay when i have choice of installing best antivirus apps that can be downloaded from play store.
I am not able to uninstall . there is no option to do so.

Lenovo A6000 come with pre installed antivirus. Its free only for a month after that you need to pay 0.99$ / month or 1.99$ / 3 months. Worst part is you cant uninstalled this app!!
Why could we pay for antivirus when we have lots of good antivirus for free in playstore ?
Very bad statergy by Lenovo by forcing its customer to pay for the useless app.

One suggestion! for Lenovo A6000 Plus!

When i press the left sensor of my Lenovo A6000 Plus phone,the "desktop manager" is comes up which is not very useful. Is there any option to alter the setting to view "Recent App View" while pressing the left sensor?? It takes more time to hold that left sensor in order to get the "Recent App View" which is quite irritating as well as time taking!
So lenovo if this modification setting is not included with the phone itself then can you please add this option at your next software updates. Thnak you!

Unfortunately, there is no fix for this Flipkart denied to take this mobile back.The only hope is next lollipop update will fix it.. Sadly, another thing LENOVO removed many developer options. The transition scale, animation scale etc are not found
