Lenovo a850 incoming calls problem

Hello.
I have this good phone since 1 month.
Unluckly, since the beginning, i have an annoying  problem with incoming calls.
Most of times i'm not reachable and the classical message "THe number you have dialed is busy on another call" is what people calling me normally listen to.
THis happens even if i'm not on another call.
I bought this phone from the most famous chinese shop on line it was already rooted when here.
SOmeone have experienced the same problem?
I have 2 sims.
I have tried to use it with only one or swapping the two. Nothing. Same thing
Any suggestion is appreciated.

Hi,
I have exactly the same problem, from time to time I cannot receive any incoming calls even though network is perfectly fine. The only difference is that it is with lenovo phone model S850.
I have bought the phone for less than two weeks and this problem crops up. I have to say if I knew of this existing problem I would never have bought this phone. From what I have read, this problem seems to be pretty common among lenovo phones (AND ONLY LENOVO PHONES SOMEHOW).
I am extremely disappointed. Why would someone buy a phone when it cannot carry out the very basic requirement of a phone "receiving calls properly". I could have bought a NOKIA for 50 quid and thats it. I wouldnt have to spend 150 quid for a piece of junk.
I also find it very disappointing and unacceptable why the lenovo company has not resolved this imminent and persisting problem depite numerous complaints.
I'm utterly disappointed in Lenovo and will never buy anything related to Lenovo again in the future (unless this problem can be permanently solved).

  • Incoming call problem on iphone 4s

I've had this problem for a couple of days now and couldn't find anybody with the same issue:
My iPhone 4S will interrupt all incoming calls. My phone rings a few times then ends the call.
At my phone the call is left unaswered. On the other phone it says that I've answered, but theres
no voice or anything coming out.
    I've tried all the basics:
    -Shuttingdown the network
    -Booting
    -Reinstalling OS
    Anything doesn't seem to work.
If you know any tricks or something please tell me.

    Problem solved:
It was my operator that didn't work. I've got two sim cards and somehow the other card anwered the calls. Just transferred the calls from the other sim to this one and everything works great again.

  • Sipura SPA-3000 incoming calls problem

I have a very strange problem with my SPA-3000.
I can make any outgoing calls.
    For the incoming calls:
    1. I hear the ring
    2. Callers do not hear anything (no ringing tones)
    3. I pick up the phone and hear nothing
    4. Callers still hear nothing and call does not connect
    5. I hangup
    6. Caller disconnect
    What could cause such problems?
I forwarded ports 5060-5061 and 16384-16482 to the adapter.
    P.S. I'm using pennytel services.
    Thanks.

I would run a quick test to see if it involves the determination of your external ip address. Determine your external ip address (run www.whatsmyipaddress.com on a pc attached to the router) and put the ip address on the Sip tab under Ext IP. This is not a permanent solution unless you have a static ip address, but if this solves the problem you know that has something to do with your router. Remove the entry after you run the test.
The basic diagnostic tool available is a sip debug trace. To do this you need a syslog program running on your pc. See this web page for a link to download a syslog program:
    http://www.sipura.net/Documents/faq/Section_2.html#9
You setup your pc address under debug server on the SPA3000 system tab, you set the Debug Level to 3 and on the Line tab you set the Debug Option to FULL.
A sip debug trace will show the incoming sip invite, the responses and the startup of the rtp packets.

    Johan, open your Phone application.
Swipe down from the top of the bezel to > Settings.
Tap Smart Dialing and set up your correct information in Smart Dialing... national number length, country code, etc.

  • Incoming calls problem!

HiIs there anyway i can make incoming call open full screen as in Lolipop you just have the small window saying acept or reject and in bright sunlight it hard to seeI am sure I had it open full screen or dialer before  but been to call setting and can not find any thing

You would need to use a 3rd party app for that as there isn't an option for this to be changed or modified

  • Linksys SPA3102 "flashing" and incoming call problem.

I tried to do as much research as I could before posting, however i'm stuck =/.
    My Setup:
Phone Port on wall Split into three phone ports, one with a fax in it, one with a splitter, one empty.
From the splitter I have a line into a D-link modem and a line into the back of the SPA3102.
From the D-Link modem i have an ethernet cable plugged into the SPA3102 [im not using the inbuilt modem, should i be ?]
Also from the D-link modem i have a D-link wireless router.
Then I have a line into a set of Telstra V900 cordless phones from the SPA3102.
I also have another phone connected directly to the PSTN line in another room.
The problem is when a call is coming in on the PSTN line the phone connected directly to the PSTN line rings however the phones connected to through the SPA3102 don't register the call until much after the PSTN phone does. I'm not sure how to go about fixing that.
Also should I pick up on the wired PSTN handset, how do I go about switching to the wireless handset. "flashing" i think it's called.
NOTE: I'm in the market for new wireless phones anyway as the telstra V900 ones are crap, any recmomendations ?
    Any help would be appreciated.

First I didn’t understand what you meant for “I’m not using the inbuilt modem” for the SPA-3102. Did you mean you set the SPA-3102 as a bridged?
If you are using a phone splitter where one of the 3 phone ports is connected to the PSTN portion of the SPA-3102 and the other phone splitter port is into another phone and someone calls the PSTN line, the phone connected to the splitter will really ring for it gets a share of the signal coming from the splitter. The phone connected to the phone port (FXS) port for the SPA-3102 will ring only if the PSTN signal has successfully transferred the call to the from the PSTN line registration to the actual Line 1 registration. If that is not happening, there are some registration settings you need to check in the SPA-3102. One important parameter is the registration status of the Line 1 and PSTN lines. You can check that under the Info section just make sure you are login as admin advanced login with the SPA-3102. You should be getting registration state “registered” confirming that the VoIP information you set in the SPA-3102 is valid. If registrations are correct, maybe you need to know is the PSTN Line is transferring the call to the VoIP line section. Setting up this portion is discussed in this link:

    Hope this helps.

  • BT8500 incoming calls 'problem'

Don't know if anyone from BT is monitoring these posts, but here goes.
Just bought the BT8500 phone set to reduce nuisance calls.
It seems that a large proportion of incoming callers are not pressing the # key after recording an announcement, so that their message is not being played back to me so that I can decide whether or not to accept their call. I can only go on their number that is displayed on the phone screen, which for the most part is unidentifiable. In some cases this may be deliberate but in others the instructions are not being correctly picked up.
If this is the case, should BT be reviewing the process of using the # key?

    Hi teboy
You can configure the BlackBerry® Style™ never auto-answer your calls when flipping open the device.  To do this, press the green phone button to enter the Phone application then press the menu key and choose Options. From the Options screen, change the Auto Answer Calls option to Never.
    Thanks

  • Incoming Calls Not Working

I'm using Trixbox with Skype Connect.  I can make outgoing calls, but incoming calls just ring a few times, and then the call terminates.
    -- When I ping sip.skype.com, I get the ip address 63.209.144.201.
-- All of my "Incoming Settings" are blank.
-- My Skype number is 4159928107
-- I am using a Linksys router, and I have forwarded UDP Ports 5060 and 8000-8004 to my Trixbox server.
    Thanks for your help.

    Hello Tpddkennedylaw,
I see you are having trouble receiving calls.  Looking at your account, I can see you are making calls out okay, and I see that there were at least 20 attempts to your system by a 1410310xxxx number.  The number did hit your PBX, but had no where to go.  That tells me that you do not have a Incoming Dialing Plan assigned, or, there is not a Default Target Number assigned in the configuration of the PBX.  I would advise you to read up on "Incoming Calls" in the Trixbox documentation and follow the instructions to get your Incoming Calls going, and you should be good in no time.  If you still need help with that, contact the Manufacturer of the PBX for additional support.
I hope Skype has helped you with a solution to your Incoming Call problem.
Thank You for using Skype and the Skype Community Forums.

A good read. Have you done anything at all to resolve your problem. Reset? Restore?

  • Help please...iphone5 when trying to make a call, after hitting green button to make call, screen goes straight back to keypad and all incoming calls go straight to voicemail, any ideas please? Everything else seems ok. No problem with sim or carrier

Hi...I have just obtained a secondhand iphone 5.  I'm not technically minded  and I don't understand 'geek speak' so please be gentle.  I have done all I can think of to bottom this problem. I have switched on and off.  Tried different o2 sims (including 2 brand new) that I know are fine, restored to factory settings, changed carrier from 'Auto' to O2 and spent ages on line with o2 chat but everything at their end is absolutely fine. Everything on the phone seems to be working apart from the phone aspect of things. All incoming calls go straight to voicemail and show on the phone as 'Cancelled calls' and when dialling out,  I can key in the numbers and get the keypad tone (not dialling tone) but as soon as I press the green key to make the call, all that happens is the keypad pops back up onto the screen. The phone was bought on ebay as an o2 phone (the photo showed Giffgaff on the phone's screen but I understand this to be one and the same?) and as being 6 months old but I have put the serial number into the support website and...surprise surprise..,it must be at least twice that age as the warranty has expired.  I have made 2 attempts to have a web chat with Apple Support,  have reached the 'You're all set, we'll be with you in 2 mins'  and have been left hanging there for over an hour on each occasion,  so I've given that up as a bad job!!  Any help will be much appreciated...and also, will Apple charge me £25 for each of the aborted chat attempts, please?  Over to you...hopefully and many thanks in anticipation.

My phone works all fine when am in mumbai but as soon s i leave mumbai I am not able to make an otgoing call
This is entirely a carrier issue.  If your carrier (airtel) doesn't provide service outside of Mumbia, this has nothing to do with your iPhone.
i feel i need to change my brand

  • Problem with E72 incoming calls ID

    hello,
i have a problem with my E72 for some days now. it doesn't show the names of the contacts that are dialing me (almost all incoming calls) even when i have them stored in my phone memory or sim card.
    please advise

I guess they only show as numbers? It's most likely duplicated contacts or you have most of your numbers stored on both phone memory and sim card memory and the phone is set to show both.
So what happens is that if one number is saved twice under e.g 'Dad' and 'John' the phone doesn't know what name to show and shows only number.
Make sure your phone is set to only show contacts from phone memory first and then go through your contact list and make sure there are no duplicates.
If your phone is just showing the word "calling" or something like that, you will have to call your operator, but I guess that's not in this case as you wrote almost all incoming calls.

  • Another problem - phone cuts off incoming calls

Has anyone else had issues since upgrading to iOS4 or at any other time with incoming calls being cut off just a second or so after the phone starts ringing? I've had this happen twice to me today although I've never had the problem before. I know there've been issues with 3GS handsets cutting off calls since the upgrade but I've not seen it mentioned with regards to the 3G. Anyone else experienced this at all?

I'm sorry for misunderstanding you, but you said she went to the Apple store and the third time she bought a new phone. Did the new phone work then? Is the issue still persisting on the old device? That's where I'm confused. Did she get the device replaced or just buy a new phone and the problem is still happening on the old device.

This sometimes happens if you have a case or screen protector on the phone.  IF you have one of these remove it and see if it makes any difference

  • Problem when while saving a contact there is incoming call...

Recently while I was saving a new contact, there was an incoming call which I picked up, after I disconnected I found that neither could I get back to the screen where I was on to saving the contact nor was I able to again get started on saving the new contact. Here I found that on the directory page I was neither able to select a contact or nor add a new contact and nor able to cancel. In fact I was only able to get out by the upward finger gesture. It was just stuck there neither accepting anything nor doing anything by itself.
So ultimately to make it do what I intended to, I had to restart the phone. I think this is a minor problem but should be corrected ASAP to save the worthy users who have been loyal to BlackBerry and are now using Z10.

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
If your problem persists get yourself a micro USB cable (sold separately), you can restore your Apple TV from iTunes:
Remove ALL cables from Apple TV. (if you don't you will not see Apple TV in the iTunes Source list)
Connect the micro USB cable to the Apple TV and to your computer.
Reconnect the power cable (only for Apple TV 3)
    Open iTunes.
Select your Apple TV in the Devices list, and then click Restore.
(You may already have a micro USB cable if you have a camera or other digital device)
