Hi all, sorry if i wrote to not special category, but im not find my notebook in you forum lines....
i have a problem : Notebook Lenovo B450 when insert usb 3G modem him power down, when switch to power on keyboard not work, and don't see battery, in to Bios, in version list, KBC version have a unread symbols...
and now when switch to power off notbook not power down, him turns off the monitor but cooler working... power to down only disable AC and remove battery... How i can a by this KBC controller? or how i can a flush bios without battery

Flash tools have settings file, in file find param Battary = 1 (true) im set to (0) false, and bios will flush =)) keybord work, battery charging

Lenovo b450 no video signal

Hi.
Today I got a problem with my device lenovo b450. I power it on, but no video signal? I have tried to connect external display, but no effect. Device is responsing to key pressing, for example when I press tune off button, it normaly shoting down. What the reason it could may be? What I have to be replaced to fix it?

you're saying, you are not able to see even lenovo logo at start-up?
if so, due to external display didn't work, i can say your graphic card is effective. if you have valid warranty, call lenovo support line and ask for replacement.

Soundcard problems on Lenovo B450

Hello!
I just bought a Lenovo B450 in China to replace my old laptop which had broken down.
Since I don´t speak any chinese I opted to install a verision of win XP that I had lying around and was in a more suitable language. Everything works fine except for the soundcard.
I tried to install the drivers that are provided on the "service and download" page but when I do I get an error message stating "this product will not install before you connect your soundcard".
If i go and have a look in the "hardware" menu I have no soundcard, on the other hand I have a device that is not installed and is called "PCI-device". Does anyone know how to solve this?

Thank you Maliha. Actually, I managed to resolve the problem yesterday and the problem/solution was that I needed to install a hotfix for windows in order for it to recognize the soundcard as a soundcard. The one I downloaded from Lenovo's site did not work since it is for SP3 and I have SP2.. p

LSD problem in Lenovo B450

So, im wrote all history about problems with this problem....
When i, take this laptop, him have problem with KBC controller, Battery not charging and Keyboard not work...
im open case and view mainboard, damage component's will be not found...
LSD panel will disconect and connect LCD Monitor to RGB cable, Image will good, im load Bios Flash in official site, and flush bios.. KBC run work.. Battary will charge and keyboard now work... (LCD panel will disconnect)
When im connect LCD panel image in LCD panel have colored spectors, all the colors flowed and turned into Spector, when this LCD panel will connect another notebook, im see what LCD panel will Show normal image, and im think about lcd cable and by him, when cable will be change image some correctly but not normal...
Ask me please where im can find older bios flash? maybe this bios not correctly work in lcd panel???

My lenovo b450 can't install with any windows include win 7 and xp

i was hard to install with windows 7 again after i install with windows xp to my laptops, and then i have problems with install another windows version. its hard to believe that all operating system installation for my b450 is stop before sucessfuly install to my laptops.
are this about bios or about formating my Hard drive?
please give my a solution. or file that must i install to my laptops such recovery disk or new bootable bios cd progra,s

Further checks reveal that my wife's Win 8.1 laptop and my Surface RT tablet are both unable to access the Samba share either... but are able to map the share to a network drive showing the free disk space.
Seems like a Windows 8.1 issue to me now... M$ where are you!!!

Problem in B450 Lenovo

Guys, I am having problem with Lenovo B450 Laptop...
1. Display is not coming in BIOS Setup or in DOS. However when Windows Logins, then display comes and Laptop Runs perfectly. We can change any display settings then, no issues. ( Display comes after 1-2 minutes)
2. If External Monitor is attached then Display is OK and showing BIOS and DOS screen.
Any Solution ?

B450: Change from Vista to XP

I bought a new lenovo B450 with window vista and it makes my set too slow and hangs always when I open few windows,kindly help me because I want to change from vista to window XP,tried but cannot

I assume you are talking about the B450 notebook...?
I think Herick offers good advice to first try to tune / optimize the Vista preload to see if you can get the performance you want out of it before reverting to XP.
If you do go the XP route, please note the SATA mode setting in BIOS Herick references.
After loading your XP version, you can go to this page on the support site to download all the XP drivers for the system and install all of them.
I recommend that you DO NOT change your partition sizes. If you just format and install to C: you can always start up with the One Key Recovery and recovery to the factory preload if XP turns out not to work well for you. If you remove the hidden system partition, OKR will no longer work and you won't be able to recover.

Laptop no display

Hello.
Lenovo B450
The situation with this laptop. When you turn on the laptop gives signs of life: all the LEDs are lit, the cooler spinning hard disk works. But the image on the display and the image is not displayed on an external monitor.

As per the query we understood that you are facing issue with no display on your B450 laptop.
Please try to perform the power drain by disconnecting the external devices connected, now shut down the system and remove the adapter and battery. Now press and hold he power button and now connect the adapter and connect only battery and adapter only,
Try power on the system and check for the issue, check connecting only adapter, also check connecting only battery and check for the issue.
Do post us back if the issue still persists.

B450 battery stopped working after 9 months

I bought my B450 in Thailand since I'm living here.
After 9 months of use, the battery suddenly died.
I bought it in a big shopping centre and as I check my warrenty card now, it says that the warrenty does not include consumable items such as batteries or adapter.
Can it be? Shouldn't I have at least 1 year warrenty for the battery?

Can I return my Lenovo S 205 ?

Hi guys, I have had a multitude a problems since owning my Lenovo S 205 some 8 months ago.
I got the laptop via Laptops Direct, an online laptop store.
The first problem I experienced was when the laptop kept on shutting down on its own quite a few times. This I later discovered was because the laptop battery had a tendency to become loose sometimes.
The second problem was when it began to freeze after I installed another version of MS Office.
The third problem was when it lost its bluetooth capabilities, although the bluetooth device had been detected as present.
I managed to get the second and third problems fixed by a friend. However, after two weeks, the two problems have returned...TA-RAAA !
I can only recommen other people to stay away from Lenovo right now !
Does anyone know if I can return my Lenovo laptop and get a refund for it, so I can get something else like a Toshiba or an Asus ? Thanks very much !

sorry to say that but refund is not possible at this point. have you tried to contact lenovo support line to ship it back to service for your issues?

Can I return my new laptop to lenovo because of its quality problem?

IBM is one of the best brand as I know, especially showing us not only high quality of products but the service.
But now one thing happened to me, if I don't have this case I can't believe. I found there is something with the laptop(T61 Model 7658CTO) the same day when I got the new laptop on June 3rd, 2008. Then I call 800, a lot of 800 calls,at last I were told that I should contact send it back first if I were to get another new one. Three days later I got the box sent by Lenovo, and I return it back in terms of what the paper shown.
Unfortunately the problems of the laptop still exist when I turn on my laptop after it repaired. What's wrong with my laptop, this is new one, I think IBM should provide high quality products.
I don't know how to describe the weird sound , it sounds like two or more micphone opened clost to each other. It is very harsh.
I want to get one new laptop from Lenovo because of the quality of product and customer service or can I return the laptop?
I would appreciate any advice you can give me.

I did it last week because I bought an iPhone 4 as a wedding gift but then I changed my mind and wanted an iPad, so the bride could use it together with the groom (while the phone is personal).
I returned the iPhone to the apple store and I paid the difference to buy the 32GB iPad, no problems
I didn't opened the case, but the guy at the apple store told me I could have returned the phone even if it was opened. It must be undamaged tough.
