If you're not getting any artifacts on the screen (eg. when playing a video, a game, or any graphics-intensive application) then the error that you're getting is likely a false positive.

There is only a Windows 7 32-bit graphics drivers on the Lenovo support website. This has forced me to install the generic Intel HD graphics drivers which has an issue with brightness control when I upgraded to Windows 8.1 64-bit. Why is the Intel onboard Graphics not showing in DxDiag

Seems everywhere I look on my new laptop, Intel has control of the graphics. I have had the GT70 Dominator Pro for a couple of months and all benchmark testing I have done has said the graphics is the weak point. I bought the laptop for the NVIDIA graphics, so I would like the GTX880M to handle them.
How can I make sure the NVIDIA card is the one that is used instead of the Intel?

This is a Nvidia Optimus model, most of the time INTEL graphic takes control, only on 3D operation or heavy loading, Nvidia graphic would take control.

BlazeDS stress test framework

Hi all,
I'm looking for a stress test tool for BlazeDS applications
As far as I understand BlazeDS (not that much) Adobe's tool for Flex DS (LC DS) - http://labs.adobe.com/wiki/index.php/Flex_Stress_Testing_Framework - might not be appropriate.
Am I right here ?
Does anyone have a direction to go with this ?

Some commercial products are available that have some Flex/BlazeDS support. WebLOAD from RadView has a Flex Add-On that I believe some people have used for testing BlazeDS.
The Flex Stress Testing Framework, recently updated and renamed the Data Services Stress Testing Framework only runs on LCDS 2.6.

We are thinking about updating the Data Services Stress Testing Framework to run on BlazeDS as well but don't have any definate plans or schedule for this at this point.
For the time being, if none of the commercial products work for you, I think you should be able to use the Data Services Stress Testing Framework to test BlazeDS, but I haven't tested this.
You would deploy the Data Services Stress Testing Framework on LCDS and then in your load test make whichever destination/service you are testing point to your BlazeDS server. For example if you are load testing a messaging destination on your BlazeDS server you would have the messaging destination in your load test use a channel with a url that pointed to your BlazeDS server and not your LCDS server. Setting this up would definately take some understanding of BlazeDS, specifically how channels, destinations, etc. work.
If that sounds daunting, I would look into one of the commercial products. I think commercial products may be limited at this point in terms of how well they emulate our channel/messaging behaviour but I know some vendors have been working on this so that should be getting better.

I recently bought laptop of mine unfortunatly i have delleted factory shipped OS of my laptop i.e Windows 8.1 and also partition of recovery image now i have installed windows 8.1 again and try to install drivers of this notebook all drivers have installed successfully but intel HD graphic driver show an error ....Same error occured when i installed windows 7 in my laptop please help me my brightness buttons f2 and f3 are not working

G50 Stress Test Warning

Hi People,
New here, Hope this is in the right place. If not maybe a mod can move it for me.
My G50 has been running a bit slow lately and i have been trying to work out why.
On doing a stress test it came out with a warning for my video card. the result code is WVC00V000-DK7X1H
Can anybody help me with what it means and what i need to do....

Hi All, I want to purchage ENOVO G50-80 80L0006CIN. I want to run Virtual PC through Oracle Vertual Mechine or VMWare Player to run 64 bit OS (Linux CentOS) on Windows 7 64 bit host. UPDATE!!! If I select "only 802.11g" on the router I can connect.
A bit strange. I'm open to any suggestions, but at least I can connect now.

I bought my Lenovo G50-70 Laptop 4-5 months ago. Since I started using my laptop I noticed that when I have a lot of programs open, like Android Studio for example or a game, my mouse pad doesn't work at all. I mean I have to use a usb mouse all the time. This problem exists only with my laptop or is it a general problem?

Lenovo G50-80 Grafikkarte schaltet falsch um

Hallo zusammen, ich habe mir ein o.g. Laptop gekauft, und habe nun probleme die Grafikkarten-Umschaltung einzurichten. Erstmal mein System: Lenovo G50-80 80E501FQGEProzessor: I7-5500U mit 4 Kernen16GB DDR3 RAMIntel HD Grafics 5500Radeon R5 M230 2GB SpeicherWindows 8.1 Problem: beim Hochfahren des Rechners steht bei einem Rechtsklick unten auf das CCC noch die Radeon, allerdings wird beim Start von CS GO anscheinend auf die Intel umgeschaltet. Ich habe beim Spielen nur 30-50 FPS, bei komplett runtergeschraubten Grafikeinstellungen, allerdings bei einer Auflösung von 1920x1080. Aber das sollten bei dem Rechner 100 FPS wohl drin sein, oder? Was ich bisher versucht habe: ich habe die Treiber der Grafikkarte mehrfach neuinstalliert, einmal von der AMD-Homepage direkt heruntergeladen, einmal von Lenovo, einmal von Windows automatisch installieren lassen.Auch die Intel-Treiber habe ich aktualisiert. hierbei wurde mehrfach eine falsche(?) Grafikkarte erkanntnach dem Starten des Spiels: Ich habe in den Umschaltbaren Grafiken alle Einstellungen ausprobiert, habe in den Windows-Energieeinstellung auf höchstleistung umgestellt, auf ausbalanciert, nichts hat geholfen. im Bios ist auch eingestellt, dass der Grafikprozessor geswitcht werden kann. Deaktivieren der Intel-Graka im Gerätemanager führte dazu, dass ich den externen Bildschirm über HDMI nicht mehr ansteuern kann. Ist die Grafikkarte kaputt? oder kann es sein, dass nur die Intel den HDMI-Ausgang ansteuern kann? Liebe Grüße Helge Edit: Hier noch mein 3D Mark Test-Ergebnis: Hab ich jetzt doch ne andere Grafikkarte verbaut als ausgeschrieben?! Ich verstehe es nicht... Auf jeden Fall ist die Performance ungenügend!

Und zwar mal alle. Chipsatz Grafik usw. eventuell auch Biosupdate wenn eines zur Verfügung steht. PC Hersteller passen teilweise die verbaute Hardware nach ihren Bedürfnissen an (gerade was Grafikkarten angeht). Da funktionieren meist die Treiber für die Grafikkarte vom PC Hersteller am besten auch wenn diese nicht immer aktuell sind. Wenn alle Treiber von Lenovo verwendet werden sollte auch der Name der Grafikkarte richtig angezeigt werden die verbaut ist.Die Treiber auf der Lenovo Supportseite sind recht aktuell.

NVIDIA Quadro K2000M Stress Test Warning

Anyone with the NVIDIA Quadro K2000M card: Has anyone received a stress test warning after running a hardware scan?
I am currently connected to only two monitors (through the dock). And during the scan, I only had a couple of browsers open. I was not streaming or watching videos; simply reading a couple of articles (nothing "stressfull" taking place).
This is the first time this has come up; I will be checking settings and running the test later.
I couldn't find anything on the result code I received: WVC00V000-WJSWSM
Just thought I would check if anyone else had received the same result (stress test warning if not same code) and what the final outcome was.

Similar result on a T530 with i7, 8GB, and NVidia 5400: installed new version of Lenovo Solutions (prompted by Lenovo when I opened my existing version), ran full hardware check, everything passed except stress test on video card, which gave warning with result code WVC00V000-UJ8XWD. Am also running in a dock (Mini Series 3+, not the USB 3.0 version) with a single external monitor attached to a DVI port.
Interestingly, the log section for the NVidia 5400 says "Displays: 4", as if it thinks that I have 4 displays attached (whereas the log section for Intel 4000 video card says "Displays: 1"). Since the dock could output three displays (two outputs that can be either DisplayPort or DVI, plus one VGA) and the laptop screen is active, perhaps the program is assuming that it's actually running four screens.
The fan exhaust put out some serious heat during that part of the test. A couple of programs were open but not in use during the hardware test. I had not run the hardware test under the previous version of Lenovo Solutions, so I don't know whether it would have shown the same thing, or whether it's new to the new version of Lenovo Solutions.
Would appreciate any insights the community has to offer.

Can't find drivers for Lenovo G50-30 for Windows 7 32-bit

I can't find drivers for Windows 7x32 bit for my new Lenovo G50-30. Looks like Lenovo support doesn't have them. Am I wrong?

Can you try these drivers:
Chipset:
Intel® Chipset Device Software (INF Update Utility)
Bluetooth:
Bluetooth Driver (Intel, Atheros, Realtek, Broadcom)
Camera:
(AVC, Bison) Camera Driver
If the above drivers doesn't fix the unknown device under Device Manager, can you follow this guide on how to install the drivers via their Hardware ID or you may want to consider installing Windows 7 64bit (this would be best if you'll be utilizing 4GB RAM and above).

Issue regarding amd r5 m230 graphics card 2gb on lenovo g50-70

i have Lenovo G50-70 Laptop (59-417110) (4th Gen Intel Core i3- 2GB RAM- 1TB HDD- 15.6 Inches- DOS- 2GB Graphics).
i got driver cd with this laptop and i install it but its not working.when i check the graphics memory it shows 748mb only.
i had also installed intel graphic driver by using that only i can change my brightness.so plz help to install amd graphics driver. i cannot open amd catalyst.

If you're running on Windows 7 64bit, can you consider the following:
1. Navugate to the Control Panel (icon views) > Display Adapters and uninstall both the Intel and AMD Display driver then reboot.
2. Install the Intel Display Driver first then reboot.
3. Install the AMD Dislpay Driver (the files will be extracted drivers to the C:\Drivers\VGA folder - overwrite if prompted and reboot if necessary)
When finished, you should now have both the Intel HD Graphics 4600 and AMD R5 M230 in the Device Manager > Display Adapters
If you get a Code 43 error on the AMD Display Device Manager, try to install the AMD R5 M230 driver directly from AMD website and observe.
If you have Windows 8.1, download the Intel and AMD Display driver from the G50-70 drivers page and install them respectively.

Lenovo G50-70 Bluetooth/Wi-Fi problem in (32bit) window 7

hello , recently i installed window 7 32bit on my Lenovo G50-70 laptop with window 8.1 (64 bit) installed (as default).
but found bluetooth and wifi not working
I downloaded 515mb driver file from http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/lenovo-g-series-laptops/g50-70-noteboo...
After unpacking I get a Atheros, Broadcom, Realtek, Inte folder with "Setup.exe" file and when I'm trying to use it there is only a "Warning" window with message "No Appropriate Driver to be installed"
I checked BIOS settings too - there's also Wi-Fi enabled
help!!
and as i can see, most lenovo have this problem why??? alot of people in this forum also complaning the same issues..

hi Nitesh,
The "No Appropriate Driver to be installed" error usually pops up if the installer can't find the specific hardware ID(s) to install the necessary drivers. This may happen if you have a different type of bluetooth adapter (eg. Intel wireless +bluetooth combo)
Can you try the following:
1. If the Network Controller (wireless adapter) is present under Device Manager, can you install these drivers first and reboot if necessary:
Lenovo Energy Manager
21.4MB
WLAN Driver (Atheros, Broadcom, Realtek, Intel)
267MB
2. When finished, check if you can now see the wireless and bluetooth adapter under Device Manager (see Bluetooth and Network Adapters) and press the airplane mode key (F7) to enable these devices.
