Lenovo G560 Not able to turn on wireless connection
I have had my G560 since early 2010, and the wifi has alwaya worked untill now. Suddenly when I got home, it was switched off for whatever reason and I dont know how to fix it.
Before you simply say "press Fn+F5" I have this to say - That is NOT the problem. When I do press that it says "please switch on the wireless device" which I don't know how to do. I troubleshooted and it said that "windows wireless capability is turned off". Now for whatever reason it seems impossible to turn it back on as I have no idea how.
Disenabling and enabling the driver doesn't work, neither does Fn F5.
Any help would be appreciated.

I am not able to turn off voice over. I have tried to do settings -> General -> Accessibility -> VoiceOver and then triple clicked it but the VoiceOver won't turn off. What can I do? I have even tried to reset the machine keeping the data, no use.
A few people have reported problems with the hand gestures since IOS 8. It's not normal, I have don't have the problem on my iPad 4. I doubt it's a major problem but if it happens regularly I'd have it checked out by the Genius bar at the Apple Store.

I'm using an iphone 4.Last friday my iphone dead and not able to turn it on. I have tried to connect to itunes +Home button + power button it say's Iphone in DFU mode and asking to recover but when i click on restore it gives 1644 error. plz sugguest.

1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.

6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.

I keep having to turn my wireless connection off and on
This has been happening for the past month or two, and only on my home wireless network. There's no set length of time, sometimes it's if I'm downloading a lot at once, sometimes I open a single website, and my wireless connection freezes up on my MacBook Pro. It's "solved" by turning my wireless connection off on my MBP, then turning it back on. No other devices at my home connected to my Linksys router have this problem; iPad, iPhone 3GS, Xbox 360.
I've tried removing the network from my computer, and reconnecting it. I've reset the router a number of times, too, and no luck. Any suggestions?There are several threads on WiFi issues. It appears there are a multitude of things that can cause wifi problems. I have been following several threads on this site on the issue. I personally have not had this problem but I became fascinated by this topic.
The other poster suggested you check out the channel broadcast of your router and others your computer can see. Someone could have changed their channel to sit at the same frequency as your router, but this would not appear as a change to you. There is software available to scan your environment. AirRadar is one I have used.
Another thing to try:
Remove plists to reset the wireless system
Go to Macintosh HD -> Library -> Preferences -> SystemConfiguration ->
Delete the following Plists:
com.apple.airport.preferences.plist
com.apple.nat.plist
come.apple.network.identification.plist
com.apple.PowerManagement.plist
Networkinterfaces.plist
This has worked for some.
In some instances people have resorted to pinging their own router to keep the "alive".
This workaround that works for some:
As soon as you connect to your wireless network, Open Terminal and start a ping going. They use their router IP address; but any local address will do: for example with an Airport basestation at IP addres 10.10.10.1
ping 10.10.10.1 <return>
You'll see a string that looks like:
64 bytes from 10.10.10.1: icmp_seq=728 ttl=64 time=1.527 ms
64 bytes from 10.10.10.1: icmp_seq=729 ttl=64 time=1.513 ms
64 bytes from 10.10.10.1: icmp_seq=730 ttl=64 time=1.203 ms
64 bytes from 10.10.10.1: icmp_seq=731 ttl=64 time=1.684 ms
64 bytes from 10.10.10.1: icmp_seq=732 ttl=64 time=1.063 ms
you basically keep this running in Terminal all the time.
From personal experience I have had routers die. So I have two Linksys and one Dlink carcass in my office. Now onto an Airport Base station. Some posters have found success with software upgrades to the routers.
External WiFi adapters that plug into the USB ports to get around any issues with the built in Airport card or router signal strength. My daughter at college got one called the Bear Extender, greatly increased signal strength for her.
Many vehement discussions why this suddenly changes. No conclusions. -

Lenovo G560 not booting. CPU Fan 100%. No output on screen or VGA
I have a Lenovo G560
When I power on, the fan is steady for the first 5 seconds, then it spins faster and stays like that. No output from the screen at all.
External VGA does not present any output either. HDD doesn't spin and nor does the light turn on. Removed and reseated memory modules as well as HDD. No change.
Purchased a replacement LCD screen as the current one was cracked the when laptop hit the floor! Therefore I'm thinking something's completely screwed the laptop up or is it a case of a loose connection.
Next thing I was going to try was to disconnect the CMOS battery which would hopefully reset the bios - Can anyone shed any light on this? I believe it's under the keyboard and I have the remove the top chassis. I know that it may be soldered on as well...Any advise or help is appreciated.

To access the CMOS battery, you need to remove the keyboard and the top cover. From there, just turn the motherboard over to remove the CMOS battery. (see page 54-57 of the hardware maintenance manual detailed instructions).
If reseating the CMOS battery doesn't give you a display, try to reseat the CPU. If still the same problem, the Intel HD graphics in the processor or the motherboard probably got damaged when the laptop fell into the floor. If you're near a local laptop repair facility, I recommend you take it there to test the motherboard / CPU.

Batch management indicator not able to turned on for a material
Hi all,
We are trying to turn on the batch indicator at material master for which we had inventory in the past. But all the open PO lines, inbound deliveries, open transfer requirements (we have WM too) were deleted. Earlier we were getting under "DISPLAY ERRORs" stock is present in plant level along with open TRs. So, TRs were deleted using LB02 and open PO lines were marked for deletion. No stock is available in MD04, MMBE & LS24.
- I read that previous period posting maybe affecting it but how do I see that as one of the other thread didn't clarify how to determine previous period stock.
- Also, another issue might be due to archiving issue. I am planning to perform SARA for MM_SPSTOCK. Is that requried?
- Finally, we had another part for which we deleted TRs in the system but didn't remove PO LINES. But system allowed us to updated the BATCH INDICATOR at mm level? Is there an inconsistency??

NarenWe used the approach in testing in it worked.. but for some reason the transaction is not working in PRODUCTION. I am not able to perform 551 movement type in production system as I keep getting error "Number range is not maintained for the FI document type". But the document type which should be proposed is already maintained in NRIV table. This error doesn't come if instead of doing MIGO with 551 in previous period (date 09/25/09) we use current period then I get the document. We have technical team looking into this as we have lot of customization that determines the FI document type which I think is not working when we try for the previous period.
Any one seen similar issues? I am closing the thread as I think it is the code error and once that is fixed we should be able to perform scrapping in previous period.
If this doesn't work I will try the OSS note program RVBCONVMAT2BM.

Notifications not able to turn off
I should be able to turn off notifications.
I like to save lots of nice images so I don't need a THOUSAND notifications telling me I've downloaded a tiny image. Why can't I turn this off?? Is there another way?

Turning off Wireless connection for WRT160N
I have just setup the WRT160N and am using it primarily as a wired router for my home network.
I am not wanting to use the wireless networking and am wanting to turn it off due to concerns for my Children's health.
How do I ensure that the wireless component is not active, whilst still being able to use the wired connection.

Go to Solution.Its under basic wireless settings.. Maybe you can see two options that says "Manual" and "Wi-fi Protected Set up".. If you do, click on Manual then you will be able to see the Network Mode which is the first options under Manual..

I've been having wireless connection problems ever since I upgraded to Verizon FiOS from Verizon Wireless. Before upgrading to Verizon FiOS in the fall of 2012, my brother's laptop connected just fine with the connection. After upgrading to Verizon FiOS, my brother's laptop could not connect to the internet. It showed the wireless connection signal as Excellent, but I could not access the internet. Either it would be extremely slow or there would be no connection at all. Also, the router would sometimes restart itself randomly, and it was extremely annoying for me since I am hardwired with my desktop.
This was weird because my iPod Touch connected perfectly fine to the wifi. So I thought it must be the laptop. But I brought the laptop over to my cousin's house, who also happens to have Verizon FiOS, and the laptop connected perfectly fine. I called Verizon and none of the technicians knew what the problem was. We tried disabling and enabling the router, changing the channels, and anything that was on the list. They couldn't help me and I was extremely disappointed because not only am I not accessing the internet with my brother's laptop, but I am also paying for the service too. The last technician I called in 2012 decided to send me a new router. I hoped this would work, but it did not. This router, too, would completely reset itself numerous times before settling down and letting me use the internet.
I gave up after that. But in the spring of 2013, I got really fed up with the service I was receiving and I decided to call Verizon again. Again, Verizon tried to help me fix the laptop with their tools and solution guides. But nothing good came out of it, so I decided to ask for a technician to come to my apartment to fix it. We scheduled a day and I was pretty excited since I was almost positive that the connection for the laptop would be fine by then.
I was wrong. The technician came and only stayed for about 20 minutes. He said it must be the laptop or it must be that the walls are too thick in my apartment. But that can't be it since, in my cousin's house, the router is on the second floor and my brother was using his laptop on the first floor. So it couldn't be the laptop nor the house. So we came to no conclusion. He just attached a mini router to the laptop and hardwired it. I wasn't so content but I was glad my brother could finally use the internet now.
About three months pass by and I decide to get myself a new laptop. I get it and I am hoping the wireless connection works. It did, so I was almost positive that it was my brother's laptop that was the problem, not the wireless signal. I go on vacation for a few days and I connect perfectly fine at my friend's house. When I return home and try to connect to my wireless connection, it didn't work!
At this point, I am extremely frustrated. I decided to call Verizon again to replace my router because it was being extremely annoying. It kept resetting itself and I was tired of it. I replaced the router, and this is the router I currently have, but I STILL have the same problem. It resets itself on its own time and I hate it because I'm always in the middle of something. Wow, just wow. There is nothing they could do to help me fix this. I call up a technician, for the millionth time, and he tells me he can't access my router. This occurred with the previous technician who sent me the new router. He tells me his tools are not working and tells me he'll call me back the next day.
It was the next day and I did not receive any phone call. I am extremely disappointed in Verizon FiOS' service and it's customer service. I leave it alone and I just hardwire my laptop to the router. Of course this works, but what's the point of having a laptop when I have to keep it hardwired on my desk? After a day or two, I decide to check if the wireless connection works, and it did. I was surprised. But every now and then, it would shift on and off. Most of the time, the wireless connection is either EXREMELY SLOW or I get none at all, nonetheless, it still says the connection is Excellent.
Please, if there is anyone who could help or try to help me, I would most appreciate it. If there is more information that you need, ask me and I will try my best to provide it to you.Admittedly, that IS a strange case. Unfortunately, it sounds like all possible troubleshooting has been done by the tech support agents. you mentioned that you were dissatisfied with your other service, did it have a similar problem? theres a possibility of dirty fiber or a bad ONT port, but the random rebooting of the router would almost exclusively be a bad router. question: is the router in the same location as before?

Based on your description it seems like you have not set up your project and artifacts in Project Lifecycle Workbench.
From the documentation it is difficult to know what order to do things!

Basically you should goto http://yourserver/AIA to get it
Once you have set up a project, a task and an ABCS component you can then see it in the AIA service constructor.
As for deploying the AIA_DEMO, I havn't done it on 11.1.1.5, but I did it on 11.1.1.2
It used to be part of the foundation pack install but now comes seperatly.
Maybe start a seperate thread and someone who has done it on 11.1.1.5 can point you in the right direction.

Update to 10.6.3 broke Quicktime Pro 7.6.6
After the update Quicktime Pro crashes as fast as it opens, do not understand, help? It does the same on my older iMac and newer Mac Pro. Used the Combo updater, fixed all permissions after the update. My Quicktime pro came with the Final Cut Suite.
