Lenovo G585 (20137) doesn't work bios dump needed

hi i have g585 20137 notebook. it turns on but does not run, the cooler it runs, then stops, camera lamp is lit continuously! desoldering the BIOS battery - did not help. Need a dump of the BIOS from the model quickly!!!

Sorry to hear about this problem. What site are you trying to log in on? Is it a Mozilla site? Usually you don't need to register or sign in to a Mozilla site to use Firefox. Usually you can just go straight to where you want to go.

I understand that you have also used the download link & serial number from Adobe - CS2 Downloads, if still the CS2 is not working, then please refer to the system requirement for e.g System requirements | Photoshop
The issue can be that the present operating system might not be compatible with the CS2.

Again I have a problem. It seems like once I finish one problem I stumble into another one. :-(
Would is breaking my neck is the following problem.
I have a view based on a query that joins 3 tables including one via a database-link. I would like and need to use that view as the source for the automatic row fetch! However, when creating the automatic-fetch-row process, the items on my page do not get populated. However, If I change the cource for the fetch-row-process to a view made of only a single table it works like a charm. Could it be that the automatic fetch-row procedure doesn't work with joined views and db-links at all??? If so, could you please give me an example of a PL/SQL procedure that will populate items on page reload and load!
It's extremely urgent and I appreciate every input!

Ah, ok - I probably read too much into your update (still thinking that it was related to the "view" issue in your first post :) ) - so an INSTEAD OF trigger won't be needed if this is just a single table!
There are a few ways that adding an extra column into a tabular form would stop it being updated. Typically, this could be if the new column forms part of the "Primary key" for the data. If this is the case, you need to ensure that the processes recognise this. It can also be that you have set the item to DISABLED or READONLY - these items are not submitted with the page, so even if you set the item's value somehow, that will never get back into the record (there are ways to take off the DISABLED or READONLY attributes immediately prior to the submit, if need be). That could also happen if you have set the item to be a Standard Report Column - this is just displayed text, so doesn't form part of the submitted data. You can get around that by having a hidden column with the actual data in there as well - if you have ever created a tabular form using the simple EMP table example, you'll see EMPNO and EMPNO_DISPLAY - both contain EMPNO but only the basic EMPNO hidden item is submitted. Another, perhaps rare, possibility is if you have used the APEX_ITEM package to create any of the output and have used an index number that has been automatically assigned to another column - for example, if you have APEX_ITEM.TEXT(1, ....), which gives each item a name value of "f01", then this is most likely going to double up with the index for the hidden primary key item (which is usually first in the list). If this is the case, just change the index of your APEX_ITEM item to some high number (anything up to 50).
Finally, you say "INV_PT_ID_SUB is also bound to an item PTIDS" - what is PTIDS? The MRU processes need to understand what column to update and relies on the settings for primary keys and the column names in the SQL query.
The MRU's only know about their own settings - the workspace, tablename and primary keys etc. They contain no details of individual columns as such, so adding in extra columns shouldn't be a problem. In fact, I've added/deleted so many columns from tabular forms, that I'd be really annoyed if I had to start from scratch every time!!

File, edit, etc options no longer at the top of the screen since upgrade. My right-click doesn't work so I need the File, Edit options. How can I bring them back?

I only have Firefox tabs now and have not memorized all the Command keys to use when right clicking doesn't work. How can I access "File", "edit", etc....they used to be at the top of the screen before upgrade. I need to be able to copy/paste easily. Thank you.

The menu toolbar is hidden at default in Vista. You can use F11 to show it temporarily. Please also read this article:

Lenovo Yoga13 Touchscreen doesn't work

Hello, my name is Ignacio and I bought a Yoga Pad 13 in May. After using it a month, the touchscreen function of the notebook stopped working. There are times that the screen will not stop "touching" (marks appear as if I were playing repeatedly) and soon stops. The notebook using it as a single notebook works perfect, but the truth is I'm taking 50% of what it offers, without the touchscreen function.
I have an issue with the warranty too. I bought the machine in May on a trip I took to New York and this occurred to me in my country (Argentina). I contacted the support due me for my country but I said no international warranty.
Is there a way to do something? If the theme is "serious", I can or would have to send the notebook to USA?
Through this message I can put the serial number of my machine or by private message?
If you could help me would be very grateful. Not having a support in my country is problematic and I do not know what to do.

Y550 Lenovo restore button doesn't work after clone

I recently cloned my hard drive from a 320 to a 500gb hard drive but after doing so the button to restore to factory settings does not work any more. Before I would press the button and the recovery partition would load, now I press the button and it only boots the operating system up

Scanner from hp Photosmart c3100 doesn't work but I need it to!

I have MAC OS X Version 10.5.8.
I have a HP Photosmart C3100 3 in one. Though, I can print fairly fine, it will not scan anything. I actually can't recall it ever scanning since I got this MAC but I just rolled with it... However, I now need this option greatly.

I downloaded & installed the HP driver package HP_Installer_Photosmart_Full_Group12_10.3.dmg which is the driver package for OS X 10.3 even though I am running OS X 10.6.8.
It is working... for today.
I suggest you go to the above link and start downloading & installing driver packages until you find one that works.
When you DO find one that works:
Keep the DMG handy!
Keep the LINK where you found it handy!
NEVER let Apple Updates update the driver package. It will try every time.
You can temporarily disable the update package from Apple Updates by selecting it and hitting the DELETE key. This will work for a while, deleting it from the update list, but eventually it will reassert itself and reappear on the list.
Next time AVOID Hewlett Packard.
In the meantime, I am looking for a deal on a nonHP Printer/Scanner.

FM hypertext doesn't work - work around in RH doesn't work... need help!

I am working in TCS2 in Windows XP. I posted this in the RH discussion too... I hope that is OK that I put it here as well (hoping to reach the correct audience somehow!)
I am trying to single-source things. So I have created a huge doc in FM. Within FM, I have hypertext links to openfile a PDF (which works just fine in FM, and when I generate a PDF it still works nicely). Then I import into RH and those hypertext links don't work anymore. So I created my own little work around:
Went to that place and coded the FM hypertext as PRINT
Added a hypertext link (coded as ONLINE) that will jump to the required destination in the online help files
Works beautifully. But b/c I am single-sourcing (I think) whenver I make changes in the FM files and I have to update the RH files, the manual changes I've made to the RH files (as above) disappear. That is not going to work for me... I cannot do that manual work around everytime I update... too hard to remember, to time consuming, etc. etc.
Here is ultimately what I need:
-the PDF link to work in FM (which it does) - usable in PRINT generation
-a RH link which jumps to that location in RH - usable in ONLINE generation

Could it be as simple as the setting in the RoboHelp HTML Single Source Layout of "Mark Of The Web"? (MOTW)
With MOTW enabled, links to local files such as PDFs don't work. At least when you test using Microsoft Internet Explorer.
