Dear Members.Could anyone of the forum member help me to get a good working condition Lenovo 3000H series Desktop Motherboard? Please offer your price. Thanks!

Think there is really nothing you could do. Mine is also faulty. I changed the internal battery of the m/board and the bios set up continuously asked me to press F1 to enter setup or F2 to resume. Worst, it getting from bad to worst, the power supply seems to be giving trouble too. I am a seasoned guy who used to build desktop from scrap and i have one that is based on 486 which is still working today. Inspite of its fame(ie IBM) lenovo's m/board doesn't seem to be so lasting afterall.

  • Lenovo X201 Series Tablet/Laptop

Hi I recently bought a Lenovo X201 Series Laptop but the screen is cracked it has a touchscreen interface I would like to know can I replace the touchscreen with a 12.1inch LED or LCD Screen as I dont want to spend to much on a touch screen details of laptop is below
    Product ID: 2985DMG
    Specs:
    Corei7 CPU,500GB Hard Drive 4GB Ram 12.1inch Touch screen.

    Hi,
there is a lot matrices are installed into x201t. Models also depend of the backlight type - LED or CCFL. I'm not sure whether any supported matrices models are compatible with your laptop. Also there are different LCD cable assembly and LCD rear cover assembly depending of the backlight type.
To ensure what matrice you have and what's compatible check out on Lenovo' site parts list of your laptop by its [laptop] serial number. Support site doesn't answer a question by MTM only.
I think it's impossible to fit non touch matrice into the tablet because of the different size (width). Compare the width of x201 and x201t.
    UPD
Service parts DB says your laptop has 12.1-in. WXGA LCD panel, LED backlight (300-nit LCD), FRU 45N6092 or 45N5388.

  • Predictions: When will Lenovo X-series support 802.11ac ?

When do you predict we will see a Lenovo X-series laptop introduced that supports 802.11ac ?
FYI - 2 sites I read for reliable tech info, including home networking:
    http://www.anandtech.com/show/7127/the-joys-of-80211ac-wifi
    http://www.smallnetbuilder.com/wireless/wireless-reviews
I'm getting 375-405 mbps by hanging this orb
ASUS Dual-Band Wireless-N900 USB Network Adapter
    http://amzn.to/14ql6WG
off my downstairs Thinkpad's USB port .
That orb pairs with an ASUS RT-N66U Dual-Band Wireless-N900 upstairs.
On the downside, it's something permanently plugged into my USB port.
On the upside, with a USB cord extender, it easily stays put on the laptop coffee table.  And I like the idea of the antenna being further away from my brain.  Most importantly, the performance is compelling. (it seems to be twice as fast as before)

Any Lenovo laptop with mini PCI-E port should support 802.11ac as long as there's no whitelist in the BIOS. I could've put the Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 on my Y470, but instead I chose the Intel Dual Band Wireless-N 7260 since the Wireless-AC version has a bluetooth integrated which conflicts with my Broadcom bluetooth that came with the laptop. The Wireless-AC itself works, but both my Broadcom bluetooth and Intel's bluetooth won't work (they both show an yellow triangle with exclamation point on Device manager). The Wireless-N version has no bluetooth so the built-in Broadcom bluetooth works fully.

  • Bluetooth Freezing up on Lenovo T Series Computers

    Lenovo T Series Community
I own three Lenovo Laptops (T400-Win 7 x86, T430-WIn 7 x64 and T520-Win7 x64) and I have problems with the Bluetooth locking or Freezing up. Its more prevalent on my T430 system than the other two although it happens with them occasionally too.  Typical I have issue when booting up my T430.  The booth tooth never seems to load.  I simply select the Fn +F5 key and re-boot the Bluetooth and I'm off.  With the T520 and T400 the problem usual occurs while using the computer.  Happen 2 - 3 times a week. Again, all I have to do is select the Fn+F5 key and re-boot the Bluetooth radio and typically have no further issues.  Any suggestions about what maybe going on.

  • Lenovo Z Series Z50-75

Bought the Laptop today. And registered it. But could not register the date I got the computer. It only shows the date it was manufactured. And for me that means om loosing nearly alot of time of my warranty. Also not possible to update Windows 8.1 from Windows update. Nothing wrong with my internet. Since it works with all my other appliances. Not sure what to do with this. Since I have to wait all to Monday to bee able to call support. I also found out that its not possible to even email support in Norway, for some reason.
    Solved!

Welcome to the Lenovo Community !
Sounds like you purchase your laptop from a retailer other than Lenovo.  In those types of sales the warranty date starts on the day the retailer purchased their shipment from Lenovo.  Generally Lenovo will add an additional month to the warranty to make up for the time the computer may have sat in a warehouse or on the store's shelf unsold.  With your purchase it sounds like it sat longer than expected.  Not a problem.  Use my link below to update your warranty purchase date.  Choose the Americas as the Region and submit.  On the next page will be a web form.  Choose Inform Machine Purchase Date and fill in the form.  You can then attach a scan of your receipt and submit it to Lenovo.  Your warranty period will then be updated with the new date.

  • Lenovo S10 Series Black Netbook

My question is when you order the S10 in black does that mean the keyboard is black.  My Son's friend stated that it's black on the outside but the keyboard is white.
Also I wanted to thank Mark the Admin here for resolving the battery replacement question on my other Son's Y510.  I apologize for a well over due thank you and we are all one big happy Lenovo family.  Thanks again Mark for the extra effort!

  • Lenovo G series : Drivers are not instatling on XP OS

    Hi,
In G series, model 41514BQ, I installed XP OS. When installing Audio dirvies, getting a message that not compatable with XP. The drivers not passed Windows XP Logo signature. I tried for drivers in Lenovo site. But my model is not available in the site. How to install audio drivers in XP OS?
    Regards,
    Dhanunjaya Reddy.

I have struggled with the same thing, until about 1/2 hour ago....And its real simple.  I'm not a techy but here's what worked for me.
Since Lenovo doesn't send boot discs you are going to have to create one.  I went to http://www.ntfs.com/boot-disk.htm and downloaded the trial version - good for 10 days.  If this works for you then you should buy the software (that goes w/o saying).
Once loaded to your machine you will need to create a DVD (CD may work as well, all I had was DVD's handy).  Just lauch the application and it will do this for you.
Then you need to insert the DVD/CD into your player and restart the machine.
Once lauched the Software will lauch the Active@ Boot Disk menu.  One of the options (going from memory here) was to give you a windows prompt.  I simply typed c: and took me to the C drive.  Then I typed chkdsk /f c:
I was then told my c drive was locked (sounds familiar I bet) but this time I was given the option to dismount the volume which I did.  And it finally ran chkdsk, found and corrected all errors.
I rebooted my machine, launched diskeeper,  and guess what - I can finally defrag my harddrive now which is sorely overdue!
Good luck.  I hope this works for you!

  • Trouble when upgrading from android 4.2.1 to android 4.4.2 on Lenovo S920 series

    Dear Lenovo,
I was using Lenovo smartphone S920 series since January,2014 until now. When November 2014, I Got notification from Lenovo trough OTA system update for upgrade my Lenovo android from 4.2.1 version to 4.4.2 version. In my first 3 month using my Lenovo S920 with new OS android 4.4.2 kit Kat, nothing happen with my Lenovo smartphone. Until in the middle of February 2015, my smartphone became trouble. The device is getting overheating, 3G signal is wasn't detected in 1st slot simcard, but when I was change into 2G mode the signal is detected and the device is wasn't overheating.
On that time I was decided for bring me smartphone to the lenovo authorized service center to fixed it. When I was coming the technician officer was explained me that the trouble was caused by OS upgrading. And should be downgrade back to the 4.2.1 jelly bean version, because the 4.4.2 kit Kat version from OTA Lenovo is doesn't stable and caused the damaged on 1st 3G SIMCARD slot. Honest I felt curious, why Lenovo sent Over The Air to upgrading the OS if that isn't stable. On that time the technician officer at Lenovo service center decided to change my smartphone platform machine with a new one, and of course with e new IMEI serial number.
From my bit explanation above, I need a favour from Lenovo team the answer my of question below :
    1. Is that true if the damaged was caused by the unstable kitkat OS which sent by Lenovo over the air? And why?
    2. After the service center was change my Lenovo S920 machine with a new one, since April 2015 later, now I was back receiving a notification from Lenovo for upgrading the OS from 4.2.1 to 4.4.2 version, I was receiving the notification almost 10 times since the service center fixed my lenovo. Is that save if I'm back upgrade the OS as Lenovo sent me the notification?
I am living in the Indonesia country.
I need a favour for Lenovo team give me the explanation of my question above.
    Thank you,
    Warm regard.

    Hi,
    I have seen this problem.
I assume that Apex 4 do not give fxx name to items anymore in order where columns are in query.
This is one of reasons why we have not been yet able to upgrade.
And it seems this same problem exists in Apex 4.1 on apex.oracle.com

  • LENOVO C SERIES ALL IN ONE DESKTOP PC

Hi...Im new to this site and just wanted to ask a question,
I bought a lenovo all in one c series pc..Only a few days ago,
I got it home and booted it up as you do,
Then it went to mircosoft updates and found 45 updates....So it downlosaded them and it went to reboot but all i got was a blank black screen with just the wireless light and the power light on...
Any ideas to what is happening ?....
Im from the UK if that helps
    Rob

I have had the exact same problem and it is confirmed it is down to the Intel GMA 3150 update that Windows Update installs for you.
I recommend you print or write the following instructions down before doing them as restarts are required throughout the process.
If the Intel GMA 3150 update has been installed you'll find your computer will go blank once it's loaded into Windows. There is an update available from Lenovo that I'll explain about below, but first you need to uninstall that update that is causing the problem. Press the power button on your Lenovo All-in-One for it to automatically switch off. Then turn your computer on again. AS SOON AS YOU SEE THE LENOVO START UP SCREEN, continue to press the F8 key until you see many options listed on a black background with white text (basically keep pressing the F8 key for 5-10 seconds when you see the Lenovo bootup logo). The reason for this is because the F8 key is registered just after the Lenovo bootup logo. If you don't see anything on your screen within 10 seconds, your display may be turned off even though the power is on - press the button next to the power button on your display to turn it on, and you should see the options I described.
Now use your Arrow Key on your keyboard to select Safe Mode (choose the first option) and it'll eventually boot into Windows. Then go to the Start menu, right-click on Computer and select Properties. Then from the new window that'll appear, select Device Manager from the left hand side. Then in the newer, smaller window, double-click under "Display" and find the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator option - right-click on it and select "Uninstall". Make sure from the next window that pops up you select the checkbox to delete the files relating to the driver. It will probably ask you to restart your computer at this point. Your computer should boot up into Windows as usual but everything will appear bigger than usual.
When you're logged into Windows, go to the Start menu, search for Windows Update and launch the program. From the left of the new window, select "Change settings" and where it says "Important updates" there's a drop down box; choose "Download updates but let me choose whether to install them". This is a temporary measure to ensure the Intel GMA 3150 driver isn't reinstalled until we install the update from Lenovo that fixes this issue.
Now, this blank screen issue has been rectified by Lenovo in the form of a software update that is available from http://consumersupport.lenovo.com. From there enter your serial number (found on the back of your computer) - or alternatively select the option that starts at the top of the list of Lenovo computers - for instance, my All in One is Lenovo C200 so it's listed as "3000 C200". From there, find the BIOS update that can be installed via the operating system which is at the top of the list of the drivers available. Download the .exe file, run the application for it to install itself and then restart your computer once it is installed. Then go back to the downloads page at http://consumersupport.lenovo.com and also download the second file which has a .txt extension (I believe); these are the instructions. Follow the simple instructions. Once you have followed the instructions you'll see it asking you to enter any key to restart. For me it didn't restart the computer so I had to do this manually by pressing the Windows key on the keyboard which opens the Start menu and using the arrow keys to get to the Restart section of the Start menu. Once your computer restarts, go back to Windows Update and change settings back to "Install updates automatically". Now click OK and then back at the left section select "Check for updates". Once it has checked for updates click on the "important updates available" link in the Windows Update window and find the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator option (if you can't find it, from the left select "Optional", it should be in there instead. Whichever one it is in, make sure all updates are DESELECTED in both Important and Optional and then go back to whichever section the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator Update is in, and select that update, then click OK from the bottom right and go ahead and install it. Once it is installed, you'll find your display goes black. Don't worry at this point, this is the update installed. Wait 1 minute and then press the power button for 3 seconds for your computer to turn off (once you press the power button it'll take a few seconds to turn off). Turn on your computer again and you'll find it boots back into Windows fine with that Intel update that previously caused a blank screen at start up. Everything is now done and the Intel update is now installed. The reason it causes a black screen after it is installed I don't know, but after turning off/on again, everything works fine - since the BIOS update has fixed the blank screen at start up problem.
Hope this helps. I know it's in depth, but it shouldn't take too long. I'm a customer and not a staff member at Lenovo, by the way and I did everything I described above when I had the same problem. A Lenovo staff member over the phone did explain about the Intel GMA driver causing problems when I called for an unrelated problem and then it happened to me later on, realising it's the Intel GMA driver that Windows Update installed.
