I own a lenovo idealpad S10e almost 2 years and after this period of time, some parts are broken.
I need to buy replacement for this items and my problem is ... ¿Where I can go to buy specific replacement parts?
The parts are:

-Left Hinge cap

S10e Partlookup LCD Module these 3 FRU 42T0617,,42T0619,42T0621
or these FRU 42T0773,42T0771,42T0793
S10e comes with 10,1" some with 1024x576 , some with 1024x600 ... doesnt matter..
a named in the table S10 is S10-4329 or S10-4333 use same 10,1" as above
but the first S10 - 4321 comes with 10,2" that one wont fit, keep that in mind..

T400 case number and replacement part?

I have a clients T400 that has come out of warranty. His 160GB HD died. I called Lenovo first to make sure the machine was out of warranty, the tech advise me that is way and gave me the HD FRU number and the phone number to call to get a replacement.
My colleague called IBM and gave them the part number, they said the FRU doesn't exsist and got us the correct part number but said unless we had a case number from Lenovo the drive would be sold AS-IS. So if we bought it and for someone reason it didn't work they would not warranty or exchange the drive.
So my colleague called Lenovo back who said "We don't give case numbers out for machines out of warranty". It seems that IBM thinks differently. Lenovo also said there some way of creating a case on their website which will send me an email with the correct replacement part number...do you think I could find what they are talking about??? NO!
Has anyone had to deal this mayhem? It's like the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing....Plus it makes not sense to not properly help people who have OOW machines that are still fairly new.
I have thought of maybe getting the one of the big bosses at IBM on the phone to fight it out with the boss at Lenovo!

Lenovo flex 10 no parte

Hola tengo mi lenovo idealpad flex 10 que no parte... Presionó la tecla de encendido y esta parpadea una vez con el Led blanco por un segundo y no pasa nada más.. Favor su ayuda

te sugiero realizar un drenado de energia, Manteniendo presionado el boton de encendido por 30 Segundos sin soltarlo, cuando pase el tiempo estipulado lo sueltas y conectas el Adaptador y tratas de encenderlo y nos informa como te va.

T430 replacement parts

Hello everyone,
I recently purchased a T430 and I want to replace my US Keyboard with a French backlit Keyboard. I looked up the different replacement parts for the T430 and I found two occurences of what I think are French backlit Keyboards. I have two questions:
- What is the difference between these two parts

- the difference in the two parts is basically just the supplier/manufacturer that Lenovo used.
- visit: http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/product-and-parts/detail.page?LegacyDocID=MIGR-50278 and towards the bottom, you'll see a section marked Order service part FRUs. as your system is under warranty, it looks like you should call and speak with Service about ordering/obtaining a keyboard.

Lenovo t420 screen replacement issues

Hey,
My screen cracked a couple weeks ago and i decided to order this screen from amazon:

I followed a video online with directions on how to replace the screen. Im sure I installed it right but when I turned the laptop on only the backlight lit and nothing else. Ive heard that It may be a problem with the screen cable but im not too sure. Any help on how I would fix this would be appreciated.

There are 3 parts involved (motherboard, screen, cable) and there is not much you can be sure of without some replacement parts to try. I will say that USUALLY, if screen damage causes motherboard damage, the motherboard fuse blows. Since your backlight comes on, it is not the fuse. I have found that if the backlight comes on, in most cases, the cable isn't plugged in straight, either on the motherboard connector or, more likely, behind the panel. If you don't attach the connector to the panel with new tape, it can pull out from one side or the other. Also, the cable connector behind the panel is fragile and easy to damage. Finally, your new panel might be defective. Cable not plugged in right or damaged is probably most likely.

The available fan/heatsink combos with HP part numbers can be found in chapter 3, on page 27.
In order to get the right one you need to know what hardware is installed in your PC.
Since it is a CTO (configured to order), there are no product specs available.
So it is incumbent upon you to know for example if your notebook has an Intel processor and a graphics
subsystem with 2048-MB discrete memory.
Once you determine the right part number you need, you can order it online at the link below.

No, the only items that can be replaced by you are RAM sticks and the hard drive, all other items are motherboard soldered components and cannot be touched by the user.

Can I use a superdrive from an ibook or powerbook as a replacement part for my macbook pro?

I doubt the iBook drives would fit as Apple tended to use slightly larger drives but out of an Aluminium PowerBook you might have some luck.
