Lenovo Iomega ix2-dl YouTube Upload Einstellungen

Hallo Community,
I have no Idea why this message was posted in the english part of the forum. My question is: ist there a possiblity to make the videos, uploaded to YouTube from the Lenovo Iomega ix2-dl, private instead of public? Also an other application for uploading videos to YouTube from the NAS could be helpfull.
Vielen Dank/Thank you

  • Lenovo iomega ix2-ng help

    Hello.
    I have a Lenovo ix2 2TB disk-ng which unfortunately damaged mechanically. I bought a second 1 TB disk compatible with the device (WD10EZEX), but unfortunately after installation and start up bay for a while white LED lights up red and then permanently, web interface does not work.
    I read that there was a firmware disc - how can I install the firmware on the new drive, whether you need a service?
    thanks in advance for your help.

    Hello.
    Thank you for your reply.
    Am in the process of contact Lenovo technical support but the problem is because the disk hurt himself approx. 4 weeks ago - mechanically. The disk was tested but were a lot of damage to housing and the drive itself gave no sign of life so I threw it. I recently bought a second disk 1TB WD10EZEX that is compatible with the device but it turned out that the device does not start. Then I learned that the firmware is on the disk (the truth by saying I do not understand why, in this day and age przyoszczędzać so on memory?).
    And now the silent support and I have a device to guarantee that I can not use it.
    Regards.

  • Lenovo Iomega ix2 RAM upgrade?

    Hi there, I've been eyeing up this Lenovo NAS and I was wondering if I am able to ugprade the RAM in this unit or if it's soldered onto the device.

    This is not something that I can assist you with.

  • Iomega ix2-200 dont work

    Good afternoon, I have iomega ix2-200 yesterday access to the settings menu and did a restore factory, let stay on all night. Today I noticed that the power light was flashing, so I reset the button, the problem persists. After doing a search on the forum and on the Internet made the most varied processes, including those that mention 1- pressed the reset button for 20sec, turned off the power while holding down the button, continued for more 15segs, then reconnected and kept pressed for more 20Secs, waited and the power light was on. I turned on the cable network and despite flashing light network can not have access to the ix2-200, and the router does not appear connected 2-hold down the reset button for 4 seconds 3 -power down and remove de drive 2, boot up with only drive 1 installed, then attempt to acess, power down and install drive 2 , remove drive 1then boot and attempt to acess Would I like to help again put my ix2-200 to function properly, as it was before I do a factory restore.

    Hello nunoteixeira,
    You've tried everything that I would have recommended.
    If the NAS is in warranty, you can start a support ticket here:
    https://lenovo-na-en.custhelp.com/app/ask/
    And we'll get it in the right hands.

  • Is there a way to save a job action for YouTube upload in Compressor 3.5?

    Is there a way to save a job action for YouTube upload? I have about 25 - ten minute clips I want to upload and they all pretty much have the same description and tags. Is there a way to save/make a preset of the job actions that way I don't have to keep inputing the same usernames, passwords, descriptions, tags? Thank you

    the method mentioned by benwiggy will certainly work.  If you want to an option that would give you more options, you could use a PDF Service.  You could then put a specific job on hold while still allowing others to use the printer.
    You can do this by opening AppleScript Editor (/Applications/Utilities).  You can copy and paste the following into an editor window --
    on open printJobs
    tell application "Finder"
    set trapFile to quoted form of POSIX path of (printJobs as string)
    end tell
    set defaultPrinter to do shell script "lpstat -d | awk -F: '{print $2}'"
    do shell script "lpr -P" & defaultPrinter & " -q " & trapFile
    end open
    Save the file as an Application.  You can name it something like Hold Print Job.  Then just put it in the PDF Services directory in the Library directory of your Home folder <yourname>/Library/PDF Services.  You may need to make the PDF Services directory as it may not already be there.
    Once the file is in place, you can use it by using the PDF drop down menu at the bottom left of a print window.  That will send the file to the printer and put it on hold.  Others can still use the printer.  You can then print your file whenever you want.  Just open the print queue as mentioned by benwiggy.  Highlight the job that is Paused.  You will see a little curly icon at the very right (looks like a reload icon in a web browser).  Just click that icon and the job will start printing.

  • Why is my YouTube upload not working in CC 2014.0.1?

    I understand that the MOOV Atom issue was supposed to be fixed in the new version of PPro/AME released yesterday.
    New to the issue? The MOOV (or Movie) Atom is a piece of metadata that belongs at the very top of a streaming MP4 file. In the previous iteration of PPro/AME, the YouTube upload was a two-pass VBR process and it put the MOOV atom at the END of the file; a third-party software, MP4 FastStart, was required to move the MOOV. Then, YouTube uploads went without a hitch.
    "Without a hitch" means: YouTube acknowledges your upload and delivers the URL at which the video will appear when finished.
    There is NO "Video/Audio Quality" warning! That warning, indicating that the video you're uploading is not a streaming video, is a sign of trouble.
    I upload a 1 1/2 minute file and it appears to work perfectly i.e. no warning messages.
    However, when I upload the full 2 hours 15 minutes, it warns. The warning is not without teeth: my first upload of my large video was still not ingested and processed by YouTube after 4 hours. It would display...but this lovely work that I had uploaded at 1080p was showing in 360p.
    An additional issue is that the bit rate (8Mbps in the older version) has been bumped up to 16, making for huge upload files (literally double). Even after cutting the bit rate back in half to 8, it warns; I didn't complete the upload but suspect it still would not display properly.
    I'm now uploading the work separately by act (1 hour 15 and 1 hour for the two acts, respectively). If that doesn't work, I will need to uninstall and carefully re-install the software, not allowing the update to install (I'm told by TS that this is possible), and then get my work done. I'd obviously rather not have to do that. I'll actually do the uploads to YouTube this time and see if they process fully, whether or not I get the "Audio/Video Quality" message in the beginning.
    If anyone has any ideas (other than pointing out to the engineers via bug report that they seem to have messed up) I'm eager to hear.
    Jay

  • Youtube uploading not working?

    I tried the one-click youtube upload option and it says that my name/password are incorrect. I definitely have IE cookies open and the name/password for the youtube account is correct. any idea what the problem is? Also, I notice the size for a .5 minute movie was over 00mb. Any suggestions on how to crop it down easily without too much quality loss? I was under the impression that youtube mode did this, but I can't get that to work.

    Ok,
    Got vado central youtube uploader to work.
    Here is the issue, at least when using?Internet Explorer v8:
    Go to menu bar,?tools, internet options, advanced tab, security section, the "check for server certificate revocation*" needs to be off instead of on.
    Close internet explorer and re-open so it takes effect. Then youtube uploaders works.
    Not sure why this is an issue using vado central youtube uploader and probably a bug as every other youtube uploader I have used with other software products has no trouble when "certificate revocation" is on

  • YouTube upload fails due to details in description

    Recently I've come across a bug in the iMovie YouTube uploader. This post is basically another confirmation of the problems discussed in http://discussions.apple.com/message.jspa?messageID=9339330
    iMovie goes through all the steps, compression and uploading, right to the dialog providing a link to the video. The video will not be available however, making this a completely silent failure.
    Three causes for this problem has been reported, related to video metainformation:
    * Very long title
    * Tags separated by comma instead of space, thus making it one gigantic tag
    * Tags constructed with double quotes - this is what caused my problem
    I'll file a bug report later, until this is fixed it's handy for iMovie users to know about this issue.

    from browser, it will upload file using server object model. you can change the upload size for same in CA.
    as far as uploading file programatically using service, you can run the below script on server and it will resolve the issue
    $ws = [Microsoft.SharePoint.Administration.SPWebService]::ContentService
    $ws.ClientRequestServiceSettings.MaxReceivedMessageSize = 262144000
    $ws.ClientRequestServiceSettings.MaxParseMessageSize = 262144000
    $ws.Update()
    Note: 262144000 = 250 MB

  • What is the best HD output settings for YouTube uploading?

    Trying out iMovie '09 for the first time.
    I shot a 2.5 minute video (AVCHD) and with
    the video output settings I selected it is taking
    about 20 minutes to encode.
    That is way too much time...or is it?
    Based on a YouTube video I watched on editing
    in iMovie '09 I set my video and audio outputs as follows...
    * Export using Quicktime
    * File Format: MPP4
    * Video Format: H.264
    * Data Rate: 8192
    * Image Size: 1920x1080HD
    * Frame Rate: 60
    Encoding: Faster Encode
    Audio Data Rate: 256kbps
    Encode Quality: Best
    Now where can I improve encoding time without sacrificing
    a huge amount of quality in my YouTube upload? I really want
    the upload to look crisp HD on YouTube.
    Thanks

    For what it's worth, I used these settings earlier today in a test.
    Share/Export Using QuickTime
    Movie to MPEG4
    Options:
    h.264
    10,000 kbits per second
    1920x1080HD
    Frame Rate 30
    Keyframe: Automatic
    Main Profile
    Single Pass.
    Here are the [results for 1920x1080|http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tdBwUzWZf9M]
    Other test results are in [this thread|http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2579263&tstart=0]
    By the way, there is nothing magic about 10,000 kbps. If you used 16,000 kbps, it would be roughly the same data rate as Apple Intermediate Codec. But since YouTube does not penalize you for using a high data rate, as long as it fits their time limit, you can err on the side of high quality. The trick is to start high and then back off until you notice the quality dropping. In your case 8,000 may be fine.
    My guess would be your frame rate is the issue. Most AVCHD camera shoot 30 frames per second (or 60 interlaced fields per second).

  • 2 Factor Authentication YouTube Uploads.

    I have gone to Google and put iMovie in for two factor authentication.  When ever I close down iMovie I have to go back to Google revoke the old one and do it again.
    So here is the question.
    When I put the Authentication code in for Youtube after I create it in Google I am able to upload my video for it logs in.
    When i open iMovie again at another time it says invalid or incorrect username and or password.
    So let me make sure I am doing this right.
    I get the Authentication code from Google.
    I enter it into iMovie for Youtube uploads.
    When I close the app and come back to iMovie and I to use my Youtube password or the Authenication code.

    You've essentially got it right, but I think you're getting confused between the "authentication code" and the "application-specific password".  iMovie won't work with an authentication code, you need to create an "application-specific password" in your Google account, and use that in iMovie. (just to be clear, the "authentication code" is the four-digit code that you get in a text message or on your phone app, after you use your regular password. The "application-specific password" is a special password that completely bypassses 2-factor authentication - it's not as secure, but lets you continue using programs like iMovie that don't work with 2-factor authentication).
    But the problem is that iMovie won't remember your password between restarts, and Google won't show you what the password is after that first time. There are two possible solutions:
    Use "Keychain Access"  (or a program like 1Password) on your Mac to securely store your password, you can then retrieve it from Keychain Access and paste it into iMovie the next time you need it (if iMovie did remember your password, this is where it would be stored anyway. You'll find Keychain Access in your "Utilities" folder).
    Every time you use iMovie, go into your Google Account and "revoke" the old iMovie password, then create a new one to use in iMovie.
    If you go with my 1st suggestion, make sure you always use something like Keychain Access or 1Password to securely store your passwords. Never save it in a text or Word document or a "note taking" app, etc since those are not secure enough for passwords.

  • Youtube Uploader Not Working on Snow Leopard???

    I upload lots of things to Youtube and as of installing Snow Leopard on friday, I have not been able to upload anything at all. When you click the youtube uploader it says "loading" where the uploader normally appears and nothing happens. When you click the Bulk Uploader and click "add video" nothing happens. This is occuring on both firefox and safari. I switched over to my vista partition of bootcamp and it runs perfectly fine so that is the alternative I will have to use until this problem is fixed.
    Is anybody else having this issue? if not, how can I fix it? I'm assuming it is something wrong with the operating system as it started happening as soon as I installed it.
    I've tried reinstalling adobe flash player, I've rebooted several times, nothing seems to work.

    Hey, I fixed it! I remembered (by trying in Firefox, where it works, by the way) that the Youtube Bulk video uploader uses Google Gears. I noticed that Safari had Gears 0.5.30.0 while the latest version I just installed for Firefox was Gears 0.5.32.0. I googled and found an old bug report somewhere saying that in a Snow Leopard beta, Gears worked in Firefox but not Safari, so I knew I was on the right track.
    I tried to upgrade Gears in Safari by going to http://gears.google.com, but it did not display anything about which version I had or how to upgrade (as it does in Firefox) although if I looked at the page source I could see the text 'Your Gears installation is too old and needs to be upgraded'. So in the end I just deinstalled Gears (follow the instructions under 'If you need to remove a plug-in' in Safari help) and now I have the button back to upload a video, instead of just 'Loading...' I haven't tried it yet but it looks promising.

  • YouTube Uploads Failing All of a Sudden

    So I've had no problems in the past uploading to YouTube but now it keeps failing at the 99% mark.
    I went to YouTube and noticed they don't allow login with your channel name anymore, you must use your email address associated with the account.
    I was using my channel name in FCPX and although it was showing that it was connecting, I changed my credentials to the email address rather than the channel name.
    So my YouTube and FXPC are in Sync and I'm using the right credentials.
    I'm still getting the failure. By the way it's not a credentials failure.

    So I worked out what the issue was.
    I have a template I use for the description of a video when uploading to YouTube, in this template there are characters such as <>(), these are not accepted by YouTube in the description section.
    I worked this out by trying to upload the video directly to YouTube and it was working, however when I attempted to enter the description, it told me I was using characters which were not allowed.
    So I figured that FCPX was uploading the video but when it got right at the end, it would fail because of the unsupported characters.
    To fix this problem, all YouTube upload rules should be built in to FCPX so that FCPX is sending over a valid video to YouTube and there's no rejection from YouTube's end.
    Another little problem I found was, I was uploading multiple videos and I would leave the computer unattended, however once the first video would fail the screen prompt would come up advising it failed and FCPX wouldn't continue with the rest of the videos. FCPX should continue with the rest of the jobs in line and not stop because of an error with the first one in the line, especially when dealing with time consuming tasks that you don't want to sit around and wait for.

  • IMovie 11 (9.0.6 (1763)) YouTube uploads issue

    Nice. After the latest "iMovie 11" update to the version 9.0.6 (1763), it lost the ability to do YouTube uploads altogether:
    it shows the "Uploading" window with the progress bar, and time estimate, and everything, as before, but when the "upload" ends, there is no usual "Finished uploading" (or thmthng like that) message, and, of course, nothing is actually uploaded to YouTube.
    It is not a problem with YouTube, because I can do uploads of the same files to it directly, using YouTube's web interface.
    I am sure I enter YouTube account info in iMovie correctly too.
    For successful uploads, as it used to be before, you could see on the YouTube "Video Manager" page that a file is being uploaded, because there was "Processing..." item for it, as soon as you start upload in iMovie. Now, there is no indication on the YouTube’s “Video Manager” page that a file is being uploaded whatsoever.
    Does anybody else have the same issue?

    Same problem for me too. If you look at the top section of your crash report you see reference to 3ivx, this is some kind of video codec. I did a search on my mac for 3ivx and uninstalled it. This fixed the problem. See these two articles for more information:

  • Youtube upload specs

    i've been to youtube upload page and seen the specs. they say keep original resolution, frame rate etc. my video is about 7 min long and is 1080p 23.98 prores. i exported it from fcp 6 as a straight quicktime. that gave me a file of about 9gb. the time to upload to youtube would have been about 600 min. reading youtubes specs, thay seem to prefer h.264 so i used quicktime conversion following their specs exactly (except leaving the video as 23.98 as opposed to 30). file weighed in at 2.7gb. that upload would have taken thousands of minutes. so the question is, where am i going wrong. what would be the "correct" settings to use in quicktime conversion or compressor to get the highest quality video that would upload in a reasonable length of of time (an hour or so). thanks.

    I did a piece recently that was about the same as you describe (7 minutes, 24p) but made a decision to publish it at 720p since it's about half the file size and works better on most screens (not everyone has a 1080 screen on their system.) The finished H.264 file was 435 MB.  Here's the Video setting panel:
    Hope this helps

  • Youtube upload quality in PRE9

    I had always followed what the verterans in the form have suggested for youtube upload.. Just for the fun of it, I tried to upload something from within PRE9 directly and found it to be really good, as good as it is when directly uploaded from youtube site.. Anyone else has the same observation?
    Also I am able to upload for more than 10 mins now... REALLY helps me, cause one of my main workflows is to use videos from all my friends cameras and upload it to FB/youtube or burn it on disks.. for them

    That's great to hear, Surfer!
    Adobe really has made some real efforts to improve the program in version 9, and they've now added a feature that automatically updates to YouTube's ever-changing specs. It ain't perfect, but it's definitely about as good as you can get with an automatic feature.
