Lenovo M90Z Not Detect WIFI Adapter

Dear Forum
I have problem with my Lenovo Thinkcentre M90Z.
Recently, the Wifi Card was not detect any wifi signal available in the near site.
I trying to uninstall the driver to solve the problem.
But unfortunatelly, after unisntall the Wifi adapter dissapear from the network adapter list.
I have try re-isntall the driver but no result.
Also try to re-attach the WIFI card to the slot, but it still not recognized by the OS.
Any solution for this problem?
Here the screen capture of the device manager and the network adapter list :

Have you tried Safe mode with Networking? Check if the adapter is being detected in Safe mode. You can reboot in Safe Mode by pressing the 'F8' key repeatedly as soon as you turn on the computer. If you're using Windows 8, refer to this link for how to start your system in Safe Mode:
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/windows-startup-settings-including-safe-mode
If the adaptor is being detected in Safe Mode, try updating the drivers and uninstalling any new hardware or software that you might have installed recently. If it still doesn't work, try doing a system restore back to the point when the adaptor was detected.
If the adaptor is still not getting detected even in Safe Mode, it's probably a faulty adaptor, or it might not be connected properly on the mother board. You might have to open the system to check the connections. Keep in mind that opening the system up might void your warranty if the system is still in warranty.

my apple 4s with 7.0.4 os is not detected wifi devices.can u help,

If you get that message, then the device was not reset to factory settings.
Go to Settings > General > Reset > Erase all content & settings.  Then start fresh with your new device.

If whatever the problem is applies to every wi-fi network the iPhone has access to, if no change after restoring the iPhone with iTunes as a new iPhone or not from the backup, the iPhone has a hardware problem.

    Rats.
I hope the replacement card fixes the problem.  Over the years I have had just one bad network card -- and it drove me nuts tracking down that it was, indeed, a failed card.

  • Lenovo R61i Not detecting wireless!!!

Bought my gf a new computer for Christmas and pulled out her old Lenovo yesterday to see about using it for myself.  It was ungodly slow and loaded down with music so I did a factory reset on it and when it was done I couldn't pick up ANY wireless connections...I am lost...please help...

    Hi.
These are your original factory specs:
    ThinkPad R61i (7732-8AU)
    T2330(1.60GHz), 1GB RAM, 120GB 5400rpm HD, 14.1in 1280x768, Intel X3100, CDRW/DVDRW, Intel 802.11abg wireless, Bluetooth, Modem, 1Gb Ethernet, UltraNav, Secure chip, Fingerprint reader, 4c Li-Ion, WinXP Pro
Notice that you have an Intel wireless card. Unless your wifi card has been switched, your wireless LAN (wifi) adapter should be Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG, as confirmed by System service parts - ThinkPad R61, R61i, and T61 (14.1-inch widescreen). If you suspect the wifi card has been switched, is not connected properly, damaged or was removed, it just takes 2 minutes to check by removing the keyboard as shown in the Lenovo training movie here:
Hardware Removal & Installation Movie Index - Notebooks
Hardware removal and installation index - ThinkPad R61
And here is your Hardware Maintenance Manual - ThinkPad R61, R61i, T61 14.1-inch widescreen
The correct wireless driver can be found by entering your 7-digit type/model number in the Lenovo Drivers and Software download page. This will provide you with a list of machine-specific drivers. Choose "Intel Wireless LAN (abgn, abg, bg) for Windows XP - ThinkPad" (filename "6mwc24ww.exe") in the "Networking: Wireless LAN" section. Direct link here.
After downloading and running the file, it should extract to the following (default) directory:  C:\DRIVERS\WIN\WLANINT. Choose to "Install Intel wireless LAN now" and reboot. That's it, you're done.
Otherwise, to complete the installation process later, navigate to the appropriate folder where the files were extracted. (In this case, Click "Computer"---> drive C---> DRIVERS ---> WIN---> WLANINT and then double-click "AUTORUN.EXE").
Reboot and you should see wireless networks within range. If not, make sure wireless is turned on in BIOS menu (Hit "F1" at the Thinkpad splash screen when first powering up the computer). Also check that the physical wireless switch towards the bottom left side of your palmrest is turned on and that "F5" wireless radio options are on. (To utilize Function key "F5" options you must first install Lenovo Power Management driver from the "Power Management" section and Hotkey Features Integration from the "Software and Utility" section).
If you have any other missing drivers you may browse the general list of R61/R61i drivers here: http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/research/hints-or-tips/detail.page?&DocID=HT037648
P.S. I have given very detailed instructions so others besides yourself may be helped and begin learning how to navigate the Lenovo driver matrix successfully. • Notebook not detecting Wifi or available networks

So usually when I start up my Notebook my computer starts up and automatically connects to my home WIFI. Well yesterday when I turned on my laptop it didn't connect or even show the WIFI signal at the bottom right notification bar. Instead there was this new icon that said I had to connect my laptop to a Ethernet cabel that looks like a phone jack? When I went to my Available Networks setting Wifi wasn't even an option. This laptop has a tendancy of making changes overnight so now this is frustrating cause I can't connect to the internet of use my laptop. Someone please help!

All you got to do is wrap your Notebook in a towel (make sure notebook not exposed) then let it be in there for 5 hours. Once thats complete then your notebook should be able to detect wifi or avalible networksaalvarez391 wrote:

  • Satellite 5200-903 does not detect Wireless Adapter

    hello everybody,
I wonder if anyone can tip me on this one...
Since I reinstalled the OS ( have XP pro SP2 ) PC seems not detecting anymore the WIRELESS adapter in Device manager under Network Adapter.
Also the light of the wireless switcher does not turn on anymore.
I am also having problems to access the BIOS to check if the adapter is detected there, I do not have a Toshiba HW setup in Control Panel as indicated in the manual.
    Any suggestions?

    Hello Juliana
The question is how did you install the OS? If you use recovery CD all tools will be installed including Toshiba HW setup. If the unit is preinstalled with Microsoft WXP CD you must install all Toshiba stuff belatedly.
Just short explanation about WLAN card. Basically if the light of the wireless switcher does not turn on thats clearly indicate onto hardware problem. I assume that the WLAN card is defective. Check also if the card is listed in device manager.
If you want to enter BIOS settings pres ESC button at the boot up procedure and keep it down for a few seconds.
    Bye
