Lenovo s820 OTA Update error (From S820_ROW_S222_141121 to S820_ROW_S223_150119)

Hi,
I also having problem in OTA updation (10.89MB) recently triggered. (I am using Android Kitkat version 4.4.2) while I tried to upgrade the it down loaded properly without any issue.
Then I pressed upgrade now, then my mobile restarted and shown some upgrading screen....but suddenly a error show n and stopped.
then I rebooted and pop up says that the OTA upgrade failed!!!.
Someboday pls. help me to fix this.
I also did factory default setting.
Note : Pls. check the error message in attached picture.

"/system/priv-app/settings.apk" has unexpected contents.
Update.Zip is not correct

I have the same issue with S820_ROW_S222_141121 except my installation halted on "/system/priv-app/ideaFriend.apk"
Please help.
The updates kept coming but I could never installed them.
I have tried OTA as well as from my own PC. Won't WORK!

I suggest to use Lenovo Smart Assistant (desktop client) to help updating your phone version if you couldn't do it from the phone.

How do I stop the Lenovo ThinkVantage Toolbox update message from popping up?

There are times when I am streaming video, and do not want pop up messages showing on the screen. I do not like pop ups. There seems to be no way to turn off Lenovo ThinkVantage Toolbox update messages from popping up on the screen. If I could turn the pop ups off, i would. I am running Windows XP - Pro.

Download and install MS Autoruns:

Before you run Autoruns, in explorer, get properties on the chm help file and click the Unblock button if visible.
Otherwise you may be unable to use the help file.
Now run Autoruns. Find all likely references to Thinkvantage Toolbox (PC Doctor) and disable (uncheck checkbox).
You don't have to remove the references, just disable them. You can re-enable them later if you like.
Save and restart computer. Poof! No more Thinkvantage Toolbox popups. You will now need to run it manually.

Update error from version 4.6.1 to 5.0 on BB 8900

I'm trying to update my BB 8900 from 4.6.1 to 5 but am getting some errors. I get as far as the available versions ( using IE9 ) and i select 5.0 Bundle 1682 and I get the following error

Now I'm registered with BB. I have been using the desktop manager to try and update also but also getting errors.
I havent unplugged the battery, and the laptop I'm using is a vista machine 32bit with loads of hard drive and loads of ram. I dont know what i'm doing wrong, I thought or figured it should be a pretty easy process.
Also I have downloaded "8900M_PBr5.0.0_rel1682_PL5.2.0.104_A5.0.0.1036_Vodafone_Ireland" and ran this but still now update.
Any assistance is very much welcomed.

Batch updation error from Sales Order

Hi All,
I am facing a problem in my addon while Adding/Updating Sales Order.
In my addon, after adding or updating Sales Order, checking the Pval.ActionSuccess property , I am updating the batch allocation for the quantity in the order into IBT1 using DI API. It was working nice. But in one company database it is causing issue. Sales Order is getting added/updated. But after that when the batch is updated using DI API, it is showing the error below.
Another user has altered the quantity of batch 000001
in Whse 01 in row 1 [(----) 29-9]
Please help me in this issue.

Hi Jisha,
I would change the trigger on which you decide to change the batch. You may correct me if I am wrong, if you wait for a pVal.ActionSuccess, I'd say this is a user interface action. Maybe there is a timing difference. When you are waiting for DI-API to complete I try something like this:

Firmware update Error S660

Lenovo S660 Firmware Update Error My Model No. Lenovo S660, Android version 4.4.2,, Basedband Version S660.V58,2014/09/19 15:07, Build No. S660_ROW_S058_140919, ROM Size 8GB, RAM Size 1GB, CPU 4 Core. I did received Firmware update S660_ROW_S058_140919_To_S660_Row_S062_141126(63.27MB) on my mobile S660 then i did download this update successfully after downloading this i choosed option update now, process completed my mobile has restarted then i got an error Failed to install ota package, i have also cleared cache, received same error 4 to 5 times on repeating same process. so i request to you try to solve my problem as soon as possible. how to update my firmware. If you have a valid warranty you could go to a Lenovo service center to update the phone or flash/install (at own risk) the latest S062 update.
If you decide to flash the latest firmware->
Download and unpack the latest S062 firmware and follow the installation instructions from Message 2(refers to a different model but the driver and flashing procedure is similar.The S660 battery is removable....You do need to remove the battery to install the vcom/sp driver.Also the firmware installation is done with the battery removed in the S660 case).
I suggest to select ''Firmware Upgrade'' instead of ''Download Only''(DO NOT SELECT ''Format All + Download).

Lenovo S820 problem in call with bluetooth headset

Hello All.
I have Lenovo S820. I update smartphone to last version firmware. Information from phone:
Model: Lenovo S820_ROW
Android system version: 4.2.1
Firmware communication module: S820.V21, 2013/08/07 15:14
Build number: S820_ROW_S119_130922
I also connected the bluetooth headset. In the phone attached 2 sim: MTS(3g and 2g), BWK(only 2g)
Problem:
When I call from first slot of sim with bluetooth before whistles Lenovo S820 activate flight mode and disconnect with all providers(MTS and BWK) and after reset call Lenovo S820 turn off flight mode.
In second phone I recive call, but I can't answer a call from Lenovo S820.
I try from different headsets. this problem occur with all headsets.

Galaxy S3 OTA manual update error

I am getting an error when i try to do a manual OTA update.
Service unavailable
To check for a system updates, go to Settings > About device when service is available.
Any help on this?

I made two trips. On the first we were told the update would be OTA, and that the manual update would not work until my wife received an email notification that it was available. I knew this to be untrue because I had already manually updated my phone, and I never received an email (I still haven't). If she did not receive the update within 10 days of the email we were to go back to the store. She received the email a couple of days later, and after 12 days there was no automatic update, and several manual attempts to update resulted in the same error, so we went back to the store.
On the second trip the salesperson at the store spoke with support and explained the whole situation, at which time they decided to send my wife a new phone. The new phone arrived 2 days later, and she switched her SIM over and received the update immediately. There was never an indication from support as to what the problem was, but the new phone seems to have resolved it.
I came to the forum for answers and got none. I clearly stated that I had already rebooted the phone several times to no avail, as well as having done a factory data reset. And yet, people posted that we should reboot our phones because they failed to read and comprehend. A forum is a place for discussion and (hopefully) answers, but that becomes all but impossible when people respond with ignorant replies that tell you to do what you've already done. Just an FYI, if you are one of these guilty parties, you're defeating the purpose of this forum and making the lives of others harder.

OTA Update failed for Lenovo S856

I opted to install the OTA Update which is shown to be available. After downlaoding about 75MB of data, the phone gets restarted, the Android OS Upgrading screen comes, and then an error message apears. I only have the option to restart the device. Once restarting, the launcher is loaded and OTA Update Failed to Install message comes. Is there any solution to get rid of this problem? And is Lollipop 5.1 Update coming to Lenovo S856? Regardless, I get the following error messages: (1) Installation package for iTunes cannot be found. Try installing to find the installation package 'iTunes.msi' in a folder from which you can install iTunes. I can't find this folder. I have tried to completely unistall iTunes through the Control Panel, but it wouldn't let me: I tried going directly to the files themselves, but cannot uninstall. Any help would be greatly appreciated. System OS: Win XP SP 3.

Set the permissions for Everyone in the folder in which CCPackager created, to "Read/Write" enabled. This is strange since there is only an administrator account on the Mac (and that account already has read/write), but it seems to resolve the issue.

Error while copying Update rules from One Cube to other

I am getting the following error message while I was trying to copy an existing update rule from an existing InfoCube to a New InfoCube. Has anyone experienced this before? Please let me know how to resolve this.
Formula 3ZKQ....... (Object version M) could not be read.
The new and original cubes are custom cubes.

Check the update rules for the original cube. Are they active? It appears that they contain a formula...check this too.

Error while updating data from DataStore object

Hi,
Currently we are upgrading BW3.5 to BI7.0 for technical only,
we found and errors during process chain run in further processing step. This step is basically a delta loading from DSO to Cube.
The error message are:
Error while updating data from DataStore object 0GLS_INV
Message no. RSMPC146
Job terminated in source system --> Request set to red
Message no. RSM078
That's all no further errors message can be explained clearly here from system.
I have applied SAP note 1152453 and reactivate the datasource, infosource, and data target.
Still no help here!?
Please advise if you encountered these errors before.

Error in Action when CRM Order is updated as Error from R/3 update

Hi,
Currently we are in CRM 6.0 SP04 and R/3 4.7 SP14
Process:
1) B2B user places order through ISA
2) Order gets replicated R/3 from CRM through middleware (Scenario A setting)
3) If there are any changes in order on either side, changes gets replicated.
Requirement:
We have a requirement from business to trigger workflow in CRM if order is in error. Following are the possible scenarios
1) Error while saving order in CRM
2) No errors in CRM. However, Order will get error in R/3 because of inconsistent configuration or master data between CRM and R/3. The BDOC will be green while replicating to R/3 and acknowledgement to CRM.
3) BDOC status is in error
Solution approach:
We created an action to trigger event when order status set to "Contains error". The condition for Action trigger are Order have error free flag NE X(BUS 2000115 ) OR Status = I1030 OR status = I1056.
Issues:
1) Scenario : Order is successfully create in CRM without any error. Order gets replicated to R/3 u2013 BDOC is green. However, the order gets error status in R/3 because of inconsistent configuration or master data. The acknowledgement BDOC updates the error status in CRM. However, Action does not get trigger when the order is updated as Error from R/3.
Pls advise possible solution and also suggest any other way to achieve the required functionality to generate workflow for CRM order updated as Error from R/3.

Hi Anil,
Try this, implement ORDER_SAVE BAdI. This BAdI is triggered every time an order is saved, you could put in your logic to see if the order has errors, if yes trigger your workflow.
I haven't tested but this should work for your case when the crm order is set to error status after the replication to R/3(the BDOC scenario).
This may not be the most efficient method of doing, but this would definitely work.
Make sure you use proper checks at the beginning of your order_save BAdI implementation as this badi would get executed on save of every 1-order object.
