Lenovo s820 Signal lost and often shows Roaming even in Home network

Hi,
From past 1month I am facing issue with the signal strength and calls automatically get disconnected while talking and it often shows roaming even though I am at the Home network. Pls help.
Earlier I thought the issue is with the network provider but later I found that the SIM works good in other Phones issue is with my Lenovo S820.
My Version information:

Take the device to Apple or an Apple authorized service center and let them check it out.

All I can suggest is that you open that file on the MBA and save it as a new file, then see if you can open the new one on the iMac.

BT Fon shows computers on my HOME network!!

Hi everyone -
Our HomeHub came already set up for BTFon and we hadn't really noticed ... until we started to see other computers on our HOME network! I have a mac and the people using our BT Fon are appearing in the sidebar on Finder - should they be able to get onto my Home network? I thought BT Fon was a separate network ... does anyone know why this is happening? I have reset the HomeHub and changed the password - and I'm not on BT Fon but on my HomeHub when I can see the other users.

Ok - the good news is that you are *NOT* connected to Fon. I'm also pretty sure that your Homehub is ok - the only thing I would do is change the WPA password on the Homehub to something different than the Factory setting.
You can do this by going to:
http://192.168.1.254
W for Wireless Security.
Type a new password, and write it down on a Post-it note. Put the key into the Wireless Key box and click Apply. You will then need to use this same key in the Airport setup.
Any hosts which were connecting to your Wireless network now cannot be unless they can guess that password or have a lot of time on their hands.

If the hosts then show up again after we have changed the password, we have problems with Software on the Mac:
In this event, the bad news is that you might have some software installed on your Mac which is connecting/allowing your to connect to remote hosts (almost certainly not Fon hosts). It may possibly allowing remote hosts to connect to your machine. Is VPN software installed?
First of all check the information on those remote hosts:
Press cntrl and also left click on each of the hosts in the Finder. Navigate to Get Info. See if it says anything (I suspect it won't but it might give us some clues).
Check whether you have VNC installed:
Finder->Applications->(Real or Open or Tight)VNC.
Remove it unless you use VNC to connect to remote machines.
If it were me and my Mac, I'm afraid I would reinstall OS X (after backing up all my data from /Users onto a USB/Firewire drive), because something fishy is happening at this point and my machine is connecting to who knows what where.

Hope this helps. My opinion is that the machines will show up after you have changed the Wireless password. I suspect you have some Remote Viewing Software installed which is finding and allowing you to connect to remote Macs.

How do I send email and web pages over a shared home network printer?

I want to share web pages with a shared home printer over our home network. One computer using Windows 7 and another using windows XP. I know I can send document files to the shared computer. The computer with the Windows 7 OS is wireless; the other using XP is directly connected to a cable router and to the printer.

It's possible your wi-fi router needs to be reset, or the firmware needs to be updated.

Wifi signal is poor. Sometime the signal lost and have to lock back my phone.

Do u have the same experience? Im only one room away from my wifi router but the wifi signal keep on losing especially when my phone in use for more than 10min(approximtly). Tired of this.

Roamingnome, thanks for your response. Although I have been a Bell (Canada) customer for my WiFi signal for years, the 5c and its necessary mobility plan, is very recent. Some years ago, Bell supplied its own ‘router’ for my computer, and claimed that it was possible to get their WiFi signal only with the router they supplied. When I recently received the 5c, I wondered if the plan it requires, which is within the much wider, overall Bell zone, could be used somehow to get my Air online - some sort of tethering? - that allows me to give up the Air WiFi service and router all together, but still get the Air connected. Here in Canada, Bell Mobility and other Bell services are very separate. Any suggestions appreciated.

IPod touch 4g randomly stopped picking up wifi? Restored and everything but continues to not pick up any wifi, not even my home network that I've been using since I got it, two years ago.

It usually connects automatically, but as of two days ago, it hasn't been, not even when I enter it manually. I restored it, which in return updated it to iOS 6.0, but it still isn't picking up any wifi.

Updated to ios6 lost wifi still not working even after resetting networks?

I've tried resetting the networks and changing the HTTP proxy to auto but no iphone users in my office have wifi connectivity after updating.

My suggestion is to see if Verizon will let you treat the modem as a simple modem and attach your own router to it.
I've found these Westells a pain to setup, and it took me once 2 hours to get through to a Mac specialist on Verizon's end to finally get the right setup on a customer's machine. I don't know that customer's number anymore unfortunately since this was a couple years ago.

E3000 and E2000 Wireless Routers on same home network

I would like to use the E3000 as the main Home Router which connects to the Cable Modem where it enters the home. It does not need to be wireless. I then would like to use the E2000 basically as a switch as I bring one of the hard wired connections from the E3000 into my main living area to provide internet connections.
I want to set and use the E2000 as the main wireless router since it is more centrally located in the home.
How do I set this up to work?. When I use Cisco Connection I seem to be able to only see the E3000.
Any suggestions?

There are two ways to connect two Linksys routers together:
Option 1: Connecting one of the Ethernet ports of the second Linksys router to one of the Ethernet ports of the main Linksys router (Not using DHCP configuration).
By connecting the second router’s Ethernet port to the main router’s Ethernet port, the computers connected to both routers will be on the same LAN IP segment. This will allow sharing of network resources within the network.
Option 2: Connecting Internet port of the second Linksys router to the Ethernet port of the main Linksys router (Using DHCP).
By connecting the second router’s Internet port to the main router’s Ethernet port, it will be easier to identify which router the computers are connected to since they will have different LAN IP segments.

HT4968 My "Home" calendar only appears on my Mac and not the Cloud even though "Home" is checked in all places.

My "Home" calendar only appears on my Mac and not the Cloud. If I uncheck "home on my mac" all events disappear even though it's still checked on the iCloud calendars.

(unless you already have one) Create a new empty calendar from the iCal file menu, select which account you want to create it in.
If you have only a few appointments you can move them individually by editing them and changing the calendar in the edit options.
Alternatively you can copy all the appointments in one calendar to another and delete the original.
To copy a calendar ctrl-click on it from the menu that appears when you select the calendar button (top left corner of iCal) and choose export (export it to your desktop for ease)
Double click the exported file and choose the new empty calendar to import them into.
Ctrl-click on the original calendar from the menu that appears when you select the calendar button and choose delete.

IPad and iPhone won't connect to home network with new modem

I had to replace a modem today and after finally getting my computer to connect wirelessly, now my iphone and ipad will not connect. My wifi names did not change, nor did the router - just my modem.

Thanks for the suggestion; already tried that. So I just reset the printer and, even though it already recognized my desktop and laptops, it now sees the iphone and ipad. All is well...

TS1398 I updated by ipad to ios 6 today and when I connect to my home network, it brings up the apple page with Log In on the top bar then my ipad looses WIFI connection. How do I resolve this?

Go to Settings>Safari>Clear History, Cookies and Data. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
