Телефон первое время подключался к Wi-Fi и выходил в интернет, прошло 4 месяца, перестал выходить в интернет, пишет: "Веб-страница не доступна" или "Нет подключения к сети", хотя к Wi-Fi подключен. Я перезагружала телефон, устанавливала обновления, как он просил, даже Wi-Fi делала беспарольным, бесполезно.. Что делать?

There is a Wifi Switch by Pressing Fn+F5 to turn Wifi On or Off

Still It would be best If you could describe more about what's happening with the Wifi Connection

Installed applications not showing up on last Lenovo S850 firmware

I have backup all my contacts and applications from my Lenovo S850 with Mobile Assistant (Magic Plus).
I have installed the last firmware VIBE_UI_v2.0_1447_7.5.1_ST_S850 on my phone with Lenovo Smart Assistant.
I have restored all my contacts and applications to my Lenovo S850 with Mobile Assistant. All went ok except that some of my restored applications are hidden and I cannot find them on my phone. When I have tried to reinstall them I got a message that I already have these applications on my phone. I have ignored the message and I have reinstalled these applications anyway but I still cannot find them.
One of these applications is Google Play Service.
I need help to find out how to discover if these applications are really on my phone and how to make them visible. Thanks.

I have a system with Windows 7 32-bit and several with Windows 7 64-bit. None of these systems have any problems installing Type 1 fonts or accessing same for typical Windows applications such as Word. Type 1 fonts are installed under Windows 7 (either 32-bit or 64-bit) by right clicking on the .PFM file for the font (where the assumption is that the .PFB file is in the same directory). Don't attempt to use dragon-drop to install like you may have with either Windows XP or Vista.
One further question might be whether you did a clean install of Windows 7 or you attempted some upgrade? Always do a clean install. Furthermore, do not even attempt to install the now-obsolete Adobe Type Manager product which is fully incompatible with Windows 7.

Lenovo s850 how to install VIBE UI 2.0 ?

Hi,
A few weeks ago I bought a Lenovo S850. There is now installed ROM S850_ROW_S211_140929 is the last version. The problem is that there are no Polish language.
Can somebody suggest how to install the ROM: VIBEUI_V2.0_1439_7.4.1_DEV_S850_WC87 or
VIBEUI_V2.0_1437_7.3.1_ST_S850_NK_W_EE65
I think there will be a Polish language, since the ROM version:
VIBEUI_V1.5_1419_2_ST_S850 (I had it installed for a moment) was a Polish language and unique pink theme with icons as nails, but it did not work Lenowo illuminated logo on the back.
It is very important for my daughter to be this pink theme with icons in the shape of nails.
Please help to install ROM VIBE UI

What makes you think that those two firmwares support Polish?!
From the build number I can tell that those are Chinese firmwares(Only supporting Chinese & English and not having GMS>Google services like the Play store).NO POLISH LANGUAGE!
By ''I had it installed for a moment) VIBEUI_V1.5_1419_2_ST_S850'' I suppose you had THIS or THIS.Those are custom firmwares.NOT OFFICIAL!
The official ROW(Rest of the World/International) firmware dosen't support Polish probably because Lenovo never intended to officially sell the S850 in Poland.....Marketing strategy I suppose.
And yes...The ROW firmwares have a limited number of themes that can be applied.
IMPORTANT:There are two versions of the S850 >S850 sold in China and in other selected countries
>S850T sold only in China and meant only for the Chinese market.
The firmware build number(Chinese VibeUI 2.0) of the two models are almost identical:

Lenovo S850 problem - fw upgraded with Chineese programs

Dear All,
Two weeks ago I bought a Lenovo S850 device. All works well, when I tried the officially available Lenovo Smart Assistant v1.03 to upgrade my phone (http://support.lenovo.com/hu/hu/downloads/ds101291)
This program detected a new firmware: VIBE_UI_v2.0_1447_7.5.1_ST_S850
After the firmware update I realized that only English / Chineese language are supported, moreover several programs are available only in chineese language, and some programs are missed (e.g. google.play).
I have also Lenovo laptop and tablet, but this issue with this phone is really incredible.
My question:
1.) how can I degrade to or update for a multilingual firmware (ROW)?
2.) How can I replace/remove builtin battery? It seems to be hard or impossible to remove back cover of this styled phone?
Any help or suggestions would be very appreciated.

''This program detected a new firmware: VIBE_UI_v2.0_1447_7.5.1_ST_S850''....That's because you have the Chinese version of the phone and you were running a custom/modified Chinese firmware(Suppose you already know that if you're asking for a ROW firmware)that got updated to a full Chinese version(a lot of Chinese..I know).Did you got it from CN?
Now you have 2 options:To install GAPPS/GMS (Google services like the PLay Store), root the device using the latest Vroot version to get rid of the unwanted Chinese apps and use THIS or THIS for ''more loacale'' languages...
...Or you can flash the ROW firmware version(Importantome users have reported that the S211 ROW firmware also works on the S850 Chinese version....But can't guarantee 100%!)
To manually flash the ROW_S211_140923 4.4.2(download and unpack) follow message 7 of http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/K-S-and-Vibe-Series/Lenove-S650-sound-issue/m-p/1413747#M2950 (refers to a different model but the procedure is identical.You can use the drivers/PC flash tool included in the link.The S850 battery is non-removable>Before flashing>Disable/unmark ''Quick bootup'' or ''Fast bootup'' when you ''Power off'' the phone !).
The procedure is also explained HERE (Please flash the S211 firmware provided by me ! )
Don't need to say that you're doing this on your own risk...

Smartband SWR10 doesn't appear in Lenovo S850

Hi!I have got a Sony Smartband SWR10 for my birthday recently and I have a Lenovo S850 phone.The phone has Android 4.4.2 and Bluetooth 4.0 (Not sure if it has BLE as well).I have downloaded all three apps needed (SmartConnect, LifeLog, Smartband) from Google Play.My problem is that when I pair my smartband with the phone, after pairing, the smartband doesn't appear in notification area, neither in the Smartconnect app under devices.What should I do about this?Thanks in advance!

There should not be any trick to it. After downloading Smart Connect and the SWR10 app, pair them using NFC or manually search for bluetooth devices from the phone and add the SWR10 as a device.
What you can try is to update the phones firmware if you haven't already, try starting Smart Connect before you do the pairing and try both NFC-paring and manual pairing. Lenovo s850 inaccurate battery indicator

Good phone but the battery indicator is inaccurate. It's not very upsetting because the battery last for a few days but the indicator drops and raises chaotically. Most of the time it has a high value. In the last 1/2 hour of life the battery drops suddenly from 40% to 0% without even using the phone, and you are left with an unusable device. I received a couple of updates but the problem didn't disappeared. I bought the phone from Romanian operator Digi and has this versions: S850.ROW.V108, S850_ROW_S211_140923

Lenovo invented a self-contained battery (I can attach screen shots). I do not know why this great discovery have not done public.
Now seriously. I think this is more of a software problem. The statistics of the energy consumed is staggering. Screen 2 hours worked has used 2% and lenovo smart rotation process is used 58% . The company respecting their clients should already remove it.

Lenovo S850 network problem

1 week back I bought s850 from lenovo outlet, the sale representative advise me that if you have any issue with network told me to update the latest version from setting. Today I dowload it the latest upadate and when I install the phone sucks, doesn't work it give me an options,,,,, Reboot,,,installed ,,,wipe data,,,,power off non of this option work .
I went to the same store from where I purchase they sucks more....do nothing ask me to visit services center which 40-50 km away from me. I call up to technical support. spoke to Arvind he advise me to do hard reset but doesn't help..... need help guys

Lenovo S90u "Security problem" and network problems

I recently unistalled the security application (lenovo safecenter?) from my lenovo s90u phone. After this every time i turn on the phone there is an annoying message "Security problem" at the bottom left corner and the android "robot" at the top left corner of the screen, Reset to factory didn't solved the problem as also and a lenovo safecenter apk which i downloaded from a link i found here at the "Lenovo S850 security problem" topic. Also there is a serious problem with network connections as wifi and/or data connection are turning on at spear times without my permission. Every time i turn the phone on data connection in on and although i turn it off it turns on again (or the wifi) at spear times.Can you suggest any solution?

For Call,SMS and default system notifications ringtones go to Settings->Ringtones and Volumes(or Audio profiles and tap on the mechanical wheel symbol of the profile you're using)
You have the Chinese s850 version and some settings are firmware build number dependent.You can also choose/select different ringtones/notifications sounds from the Theme Center(There's a different Theme Center version on the Chinese models )
....Whatsapp etc?
That's related to individual in-app settings.
For WhatsApp for example->Open the app->press the 3 dot symbol(Upper right 3 dot symbol)->Settings->Notifications->Notification tone....
Generally speaking.I don't have a chine S850 model .

Firware update failed, S850 stucked in recovery mode

Hello, my problem is that I ran a firmware update, my Lenovo S850 was stucked in recovery mode.
When I try to install the update package, it fails, a red circled x appears.
I also tried erasing data and everything from the recovery mode menu, but it doesn't help at all.
Please help me asap!

Is there a chance that warranty doesn't cover the costs?
If you haven't tampered( the phone hasn't been rooted or flashed or nothing that could possibly damage it.) with the device a valid warranty should cover this.The service center should honor your warranty.

Contact disply problem in SMS and calls S850

I have recently bought S850 from China and using it in Pakistan. When i saved any number without country code (0333xxxxxxx) incoming sms does not recognized the sender and sms incoming number shows with country code like +92 333 xxxxxxx.
However, if i save the number with country code, +92 333 xxxxxxx, incoming call sender is not recognize by the phone, it shows 0333 xxxxxxx.
please help.

Like I said you have the Chinese S850 version running a Chinese firmware build....Don't know where that setting is located on the Chinese model.
The only advise I could give you is to install/flash(AT OWN RISK) the ROW International firmware.On the ROW firmware you won't have this problem.You'll also be able to OTA update to any new ROW firmware releases.

S850 Update FAILS

I'm getting really sick with the Lenovo crappy products and poor support!!! And since nobody answered in the other guy's thread, here's a new one! My S850 says that there's a new firmware update, but when I try to install it I get a red circle with X in it and message "Update failed"! My phone is NOT rooted, NOT encrypted, NO system apps has been removed. It's running on the original firmware and it's factory resetted. Tried to update it both via PC (LSA) and the built-in update manager. Unpacking the update file passes, but it fails on installing (always at 59%)! Now someone PLEASE tell me how the hell am I supposed to update this friggin piece of not so good?!

THIS is the latest S850 S215 update.
USB Drivers:This are the V 1.0.11 & V 1.0.9 driver version.....If you connect your phone to the PC you should have a ''Lenovo Suite'' or similar drive(on the PC) where you can also find the phone's drivers(autorun... .exe file).Don't know what version is included on your current S850 firmware build but some versions of the drivers don't seem to ''work'' on some computers(Windows 7&8).That's why I included the 1.0.9 and 1.0.11
Flash Tool drivers:Flash Tool/SPM Drivers (like the phone's autorun/autoinstall)
FLASH TOOL
You can find the instructions HERE.(Please flash the latest S215 firmware from the first link )
Install drivers....
Don't forget to mark ''DA DL All With Check Sum'' in the Flash Tool.
I suggest using Firmware->Upgrade.

S850 Micro USB support

I would like to buy S850 smart phone and it has quiet good attractive features loaded with in much lower price,but before buying i want to have some clarrification to get cleared.As far as the specifications of design by Lenovo is concerned that it doesnot have a support of micro USB and have internal build memory of 16GB,to this case how to transfer the photos and others data storing in mobile to either LapTop or any other accessories when data become overflow and doesnot have space to accomodating further in the event of having more data.Correct me if i am wrong perception about the specification.
Recomment your valuble suggestions on this and appreciate if Lenovo personel would reply sooner as possible would enable me to buy this product.

The S850 dosen't support OTG...But that dosen't mean you can't connect your S850 to your Laptop or PC to transfer files (The Micro Usb charging cable can also connect the device to any 2.0 USB PC port).
You can use the built in SHAREit app to wirelessly share files with a PC or any other compatible Android device.
....There are also other methods to share and receive files.
