Lenovo stopped shipping to 3rd party freights?
I wanted to get 755M SLI card for a SINGLE 755M powered y510p in India, where it is not available. I wanted to order it to send it to a forwarder who can get it to india for me from the US.
I have not ordered, but I contacted my freight regarding the procedure and this was their reply:
[I][U]This is to inform you that the merchant Lenovo doesn't ship to a third party freight like Borderlinx. We advice that you can look for the brand or item on multi-brand website like Amazon and eBay who ships to Borderlinx.

I saw that this technique worked in 2010s and 2011s where there were a few posts on the forum. Have things changed in 3 years? Please help! The cost on amazon is double of the Lenovo store's

I tried holding Cmd+R at startup last night, but unfortunately all I got is a flashing folder with a question mark on it, presumably indicating that it can't find any files.
Internet Recovery is unfortunately not possible on my computer, I believe this feature was only included with Macs that shipped with Lion or later versions of OS X (mine shipped with Leopard).
The problem in the thread that you linked seems a bit different to mine - I think the core issue for me is that the SSD is now not recognised at all by Disk Utility, meaning I cannot even format it to try installing again.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can access this 'invisible' SSD? I am considering buying a USB to SATA cable and connecting it to a friend's Mac.

In order to do that, you need to maintain that Vendor in Purchase Order.
Path:
Header --> Partners Tab --> Function Partner { as GS (Goods Supplier) in my company }. Then enter the Vendor Code in Partners Tab.

GATP Allocation Check w/ 3rd Party Drop Ship or Make-to-Order

Experts,
For our stocked materials we currently do an allocation check in APO. We now need to do the same allocation check in a MTO (TAB) or 3rd party drop ship (TAS) scenario. However, we are not able to get the allocation check to get accross to APO. We have made the settings to our SL cat. indicating that an allocation check should be performed but its not working.
Is there a setting which we should consider looking at? Or, has SAP assumed that if one does MTO or 3rd party drop ship that supply is unlimited and there is no need to allocate to customers?

Diagnosing a 3rd party servcie that hangs or stops on it's own

Hi.
I'm encountering some challenges with a 3rd party service that hangs or stops on it's own (and when self-stopping, hangs.) The challenge being that neither it's logs nor the Event Viewer contain any details. It stops logging itself when it hangs or stops and
the event viewer only records that it stopped and/or started, but nothing else.
What is the current recommended method for doing *unattended* dumps on running processes? Most of the tools I am familiar with seem t be obsolete. I've bee trying to search the web, but most of what I have found is related to known issues with specific services
and is of little use.
I'm not expecting anyone to give me a long drawn out list, but if anyone could suggest a link to a web site or even a thread somewhere on these forums that describes a method it would be much appreciated.

3rd party apps stopped working on 3gs

This is similar in nature to other threads but the difference appears to be that I started from a 3gs phone with 3.0 installed. After changing the home page the screen stopped responding to touch input. I resetted the phone and all 3rd party apps. cease to function. When I click on the appropriate icon, the app. begins to load for about a second and then returns to the icons menu. Pre-installed (apple) programs all appear to function normally. I tried restoring from backup but this did not work. I am loathe to try a system restore but it looks like this is the only option available. Any other suggestions?

Hi - hoping my experience helps someone in this situation. I had the same problem as reported: all 3rd-party apps suddenly stopped working. Rebooting the iPhone did not help.
Here's a sequence that ended (so far) with mixed results.
1) Tried the above suggestion of downloading a free app.
2) Launched an app and then another to test, all seemed well.
3) Manually clicked the iTunes Sync button.
4) Tried launching another app - that one failed - but the two that worked above still worked.
5) Deleted the newly downloaded app and then redownloaded it.
6) Launched every 3rd-party app - all worked fine.
7) Manually re-synced again.
8) Launched various apps - most work, a couple don't.
Will continue to work on this, but the problem seems to be related to syncing. Downloading an app appears to help. The results may vary depending on the app that's not working.
So... try downloading a free app and launch the non-working apps before resyncing to see what happens. Syncing may break them again, but at least you might be able to get the apps back for a while without resorting to a factory reset. If you don't need to resync, you might turn off automatic syncing or use the non-USB power cord to recharge and avoid the problem.
Perhaps corruption is happening somewhere, either on the iPhone or in iTunes, when syncing. It's frustrating.

My 3rd party 30-pin adapter stopped working after iTunes update

Although I've been getting warning messages ever since my iPhone was updated to iOS7, I was still able to charge my phone with the 3rd party 30-pin to lightning adapter. But suddenly yesterday the adapter stopped working. the only thing I can think of was that I plugged in my iPhone 5 to iTunes to sync my music, and my PC updated my iTunes to v11.1.3.8. Can anybody offer any help as to how I can get my cable to work again?

That's because the adapter was produced illegally using stolen Apple patented technology. It does not have the proper authentication/DAC chip in it. Buy a legal 30-pin to lightning adapter.

3rd party sales process (w/o ship notif) - Billing

In billing of 3rd party sales process, is it possilble to take the GR date as billing doc. date?
Is it in customizing? or I have to do it in copy control?

Billing date is always derived from the Payment terms available in Sales order. But as such i have not see any requirement to consider GR date as billing date.

The scenario is as follows: We will be using a 3rd party vendor to fulfill certain materials directly to our customers. The vendor will be sending us a sample from each production run to run our own analysis against the batch. I am wondering the best way to capture this data against the material and plant? Can we do it per run, capturing the data against a batch or do we have to capture the data per good receipt (in this case statistical)?

When will firefox stop supporting 3rd party cookies by default much like Safari does now?

Safari by default doesn't accept 3rd party cookies and there have been reports that Firefox will follow suit. Any information in terms of the timeline as to when this will come into effect would be much appreciated!

Why is my 3rd party ipad mini charger stop working and showing up as non certified/unreliable?

Last night I unpluged my ipad to bring it to my living room and the charger was working fine.
3 hours later I bring it to my room again to charge it. (It was at 18%) and it wouldnt charge.
I turned on my xbox 360 Original and when I pluged it in to my xbox it said "This cable is un-certified or unreliable to this device."
I said "Must be the xbox." I then plugged it into my 10 watt USB power adapter. Same message.
I tried it with the brick that came with the ipad.It was the same message. I then tried it with my brick that xame with my Ipod touch.
Same. I only had one more brick and that was my camoflauged brick. Same message. I then tried plugging it into my Windows 8.1 Gateway laptop.
It wont even show up on I-exsplorer! I then gave up. I really hope someone can help me with this.
(I have never jailbroke my ipad, I already have 2 official chargers that broke and one broke in 1 week, Its also dead right now and nobody i know has a new fashioned charger. It is also a 3rd party charger that is saying that. I also had it for a month and it never had problems ever.)
Please help.

In the meantime, plug your USB cable into your computer. It may say "Not Charging", however, it will charge, but slowly.

3rd party video players stopped working

I have the Universal version of VLC and MPlayer on my MacBook Pro. They used to work fine until about a week ago, so I correlate that with the latest quicktime update somehow. Now what happens is: VLC shows a black screen and plays some audio, then crashes. MPlayer hangs when I drag a movie into its playlist, I have to restart my computer.
This happens with all kinds of movies (avi, mpg, mov). Quicktime Player and 3rd party PPC players work fine.

This is exactly what happened to me. Quicktime Logo "Q" with a question mark on some web pages. Any help to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

3rd Party Apps stop working each day?

Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I got my new 3G phone on Sunday and loaded a bunch of 3rd party apps. Monday morning, none of them worked--I click to start, and looks like it will start (the screen changes to the initial app screen), then it abruptly closes. Doesn't happen for the pre-installed apps. So I deleted and reinstalled 2 apps and they worked, soon after, I noticed all of them were working again. Yesterday and today, same thing--none of the 3rd party apps is working.
Anyone else with a similar story? Anyone know how to resolve it?

Thanks for the info--though I have heard conflicting info that pressing home on the 3G actually does terminate an app completely. Unfortunately, it does not resolve the issue with the 3rd party apps not working. I've tried soft reboots, hard reboots, switching from wifi to 3G, and even did a full restore, but no change. The only current way I can get them to work again is to uninstall one and reinstall it. For some reason, this also fixes the rest of them. Pretty sure this is an actual OS bug. You don't even need to reboot after reinstalling an app--it works, then the rest of them do. I guess I will just have to live with it until Apple comes out with an update. I have never had an Apple device before...is there a way for a user to enter a ticket so that they know about this issue?
