Lenovo Synaptic Untranav not working

Hi
I just got a new X1 carbon. One fine morning the synaptic Ultrnav stopped working. It said, unable to connect to synaptic ultranav, when I went to mouse(but could se the tab). Then I uninstalled the driver and rebooted. I downloaded the driver for windows 7 64 bit which I am on. I try re insatalling and it says - Synaptic device not found. What do I do. I need urgent help. Its very irritating to work without the Ultranav.
Do help me out asap.

welcome to the forums.
uninstall the current USB drivers and let windows install its generic drivers.
test the usb port with a memory key. can it get detected? if yes, test our your iphone as well as the printer.

Lenovo AIO C440 - not working infrared remote control

Hello,
is there any hint how to get infrared remote control working for a new C440 model? Tomorrow I will try to measure and/or replace batteries which could be bad. For now it is totally not working.
Another question: the remote should work only within AverMedia TV app or in the whole Windows 8?

Welcome to the Lenovo Forums.
The IR Windows Media Center remote control is for use with C440 models with optional TV tuner. If you have this model, make sure the TV Tuner driver and the ITE CIR Driver from the lenovo support site are installed under Device Manager (press Windows Key+R then type devmgmt.msc) then follow the Set up a TV signal in Windows Media Center. guide.
Note:
You must have Windows 8 PRO to enable Windows Media Center

Lenovo Care button not working please help!

hello everyone. i upgraded my Lenovo 3000 N200 0769-B9G from windows vista home basic to windows 7 ultimate recently. everything works fine but the lenovo care button is not working. While installing windows 7, it gave a warning saying "lenovo care manager" might not work properly... etc... is there a driver i have to install to fix this? any help would be appreciated.

My new Lenovo IdeaPad N580 not working well :(

Hello, I have a Lenovo IdeaPad N580 with build-in windos 8 OEM. I got from my uncle, came from abroad. now a days it does not wark as well. Problems, 1. Sometimes touchpad seems to be hanging when I working. But with external usb mouse it works fine. 2. Some keys are not working like u, k 3. When my system run first..... If I doule click on any icon in desktop to open it...... It accept the command as "Delete"... I seems just I want to delete the icon.... by the way I want to open the program/drive. When the hidden command is executed..... I find the icon/folder/file anything in "Recycle Bin"..... and command seems to be unlimited (multiple times).... My observation in this issue: System might be work in self!! also in Windows "safe mode" I tried to fix up it by "System Recovery" and "System Resetting". Bring all the express to the same room as the mac you are using to setup the network..
One by one, plug them in and do full factory reset on them.. they should then show up in the Airport utility as Other Wi-Fi devices (1) and you can select them and continue the setup.
If that fails try using the airport utility on ipad or iphone as they are far less problematic than Yosemite in particular.

Lenovo finger print not working

Hi,
Lenovo finger print suddenly stopped working last week on my laptop. Further to this while looking for solution i came across the new update available on suppport and download page for my system (3000 N200 0796) (http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?lndocid=MIGR-67845).
I unintalled the lenovo finger print software and intalled a new one from above update link.
But still its not working. When i open the finger print reader i get a message saying "Failed to open the sensor" and when i try to access it via client security solution i get message saying "device is not installed"
Further to above i checked the device manager and there is no option for finger print. I thenk checked BIOS and found that under security option ther is also no option of finerpring..!!!
I think deleting the old software completely and downloading was not a good idea..
Does anyone know how to get the fingerprint option back into bios??

Hi,
I haven the same problem once I uninstalled Vista and installed XP SP3.
I was able to resolve this by following way:
1. I found in the device manager "AuthenTec Inc." device under the Universal Serial Bus controllers.
2. I opened this device and pressed the "Update driver" in the 'Driver" tab; then I installed the driver for the fingerprinter.
3. As result, the system recognize this device as Personal indentification device; and fingerprinter works properly.
Please let me know if this was helpful.

Lenovo care button not working

hi..
I've just downloaded windows 7 and my lenovo care button doesn't work
I tried to download all the old drivers for xp but half are not working and I still can't get the button to work..
I want to resort my hard driver to its original factory state but can't because when my laptop starts up I can't press the lenovo care button to interrupt the start up..
I don't know what to do.. I want my xp back...
can someone please help me!!

Did you make XP restore disks?
If not, you may need to buy them from Lenovo,
or get a oem copy of the same version of XP
and install using the COA code on bottom of laptop.
You will also need to download all drivers.

Lenovo U430 USB not working

I bought a new lenovo U430 running on windows 8.1. Only the USB 3 and HDMI ports are working. The other USB ports are not working. I uninstalled and reinstalled from device manager and made all suggested updates. Nothing worked. Please help!

Lenovo B570e brightness not working

i have bought lenovo B570e nine months ago. everything was going fine. now i have reinstalled the win 7 but brightness control is not working. other Fn keys are working correctly except brightness. laptop brightness is stuck to maximum. kindly help me out. thanks in advance

Lenovo Z5070 Touchpad not working

Hello everyone,
I bought one lenovo z5070 20 day ago. But at the 3rd of the day touchpad was not working very well. I updated drivers, formatted laptop and tried again. Touchpad working cofusingly. When i touch at touchpad it is not working first after few seconds it is working. But when I'm use mouse and after using mouse ı try to use touchpad again. It is not working again and again.
What could i do for fixing this issue ?

As per the query we understood that you are facing issue with the touchpad not working in your Lenovo Z50-70 laptop.
Try to uninstall the driver and check for the issue, also try to boot the system to the safe mode and check for the issue.

Lenovo U310 Speakers not working...

I have a Lenovo Ultrabook U310 ... The internal speakers are not working, but when i put the mp3 jack , it works.

I’d like to help you with the issue that you’re facing and first I’d like to ask you above the top right of the keyboard are four touch sensitive buttons. The far right one disables / enables to touchpad.
I need to ask you when you press on the other touch sensitive buttons are they working except the Touchpad?

Lenovo G470 USB not working!

Hello,
Just purchased Lenovo G470 USB are not working properlly,
Deskjet Printer keeps dissapearing, and when I plugin iPhone for charging - absolutely nothing happens, it simply does not detect it.
Drivers installed and device manager says: Working properly
It is enabled in BIOS.
Any help?

Lenovo X300 camera not working

Hi, The Lenovo X300 camera is not working. The driver is also missing. I tried to re-install the drivers with no success. Furthermore - I can not see the imaging devices on the device manager.

maybe you should try to remove the SP3 and use SP2 instead

Lenovo Care Botton not working

N200, Windown XP: I can not get access to the Lenovo Care contents either from the botton or via the Start menu.

You need to install Hotkey driver to launch Lenovo Care from keypad and Start Menu. I was also messing with my button that why it is not working but later I found driver for it and install and it works.
