Lenovo T400 Dead - Please help

Hi, one fine morning.....my lenovo just dead
When I switch on, it lights up Caps lock, Num lock for a second then Z for about 10-15 seconds (in between hard disk processing light for 2-3 seconds) and just go dead
I have already tried every possible thing I can
1) The magic power button trick (10 times with second interval followed with 30 sec long press of power button) with power cord and battery removed - No luck
2) removed RAM and res-inserted (when removed, it beeps) - no luck
3) removed hard diskand put it back - no luck
4) removed processor/fan and put it back - no luck
Appreciate any suggestions/advice

Try pulling the CMOS battery and letting it sit overnight with no power of any kind attached.

Web Camera doesn't work on my Lenovo G570 laptop, Please Help?

Well I recently bought a lenovo G570 laptop. The webcam worked fine for the first month. I don't really know when the camera stopped working but it seems that every software that uses a camera can detect the camera but when the video window pops up it is just plain white. I know the reason isn't because of the hot key FN+ESC because it works fine, I can disable and enable the camera. I read many threads with the same problem. I uninstalled and re-installed the drivers and easy capture but it does not solve my problem. Can someone please help?

As I understand the camera is not working.
If the camera is getting activate by Fn+Esc key then it could be driver issue.
You need to uninstall the camera software and other relates software.
Update the BIOS and then install the camera drier
Download the BIOS update for Windows 7 32bit from the mentioned below web link.

My Pearl is dead : Please Help

Hi,
Last week , my pearl (8100)started behaving abnormally. It reboots by itself , red light blinks and shows hour glass for a minute or two and then reboots again.
I have shown to a local cellphone repair dealer , who tried flushing the software and reloading...Nothing worked..he said it might have developed some hardware problem.
But ,Now condition has deteriorated and when I plug it to power to charge the battery, it is not charging and no red light blinking....no rebooting...it seems completely dead.....
Please help.

No Webcam on my Lenovo Ideapad S10 - Please Help

I own a Lenovo Ideapad S10 with Windows XP.
When I bought the computer, the inbuilt webcam was working perfectly. Then, all of a sudden, the webcam somehow disappeared.
When I press Fn + Esc, it says the Webcam is not installed.
I read all the forum posts and tried to down load the Easy Cam Driver for S10 with Windows XP. No Driver shows up for the Camera (http://consumersupport.lenovo.com/us/en/DriversDownloads/drivers_list.aspx?CategoryID=43)
Can someone please help me ?

un-install drivers, restart your computer and re-install camera drivers for couple of times.
if it doesn't work, perform clean windows installation otherwise contact local support center.

80g Classic nearly dead please help

I've got a 80g classic ipod that is flashing with the apple logo. It was working fine up till yesterday but since downloading a new album and trying to sync its not now. My computer doesnt even detect the device is there now. I initially tried restoring it but it went into the flashing apple logo ststus after about 10 mins. I've had it just over a year so is now out of warrenty
My iphone is working fine with itunes just the classic has nearly died. Please help!!

Find a Mac computer, it should get recognized then do a Restore there. Once completed re connect with your PC

My ibook is "sort-of" dead" please help.

after installing a third-party application, my computer started acting up, Parts of the picture would stop and just go black...things just got worse; Now the computer does turn on, but I dont hear the start up noise, all I hear is the fan running and the CD-Rom running as well. No picture. Im not sure if its a virus, or something worse. Ive tried resetting the pram and the pmu, I tried to boot up from the cd-rom ( which is now stuck in there ) Please help.

After leaving my ipod hooked up to my computer for most of the day yesterday and resetting it a couple times, it actually turned on and started working. But the battery died almost immediately, so I am guessing it is the battery ... maybe?
Any thoughts on how to go about getting a new battery? I am not great with technology and don't even see how to open the ipod so that the battery can be replaced.

Logic Midi Note Dead, Please Help!!!

I am mixing some cues for a indi production. Today I merged two midi regions (region1, and region 2). However the last note of region one now won't play correctly. I need it to be a held not but no matter what I do I only get like a eigth beat staccato note and then silence. This only happens on any notes placed in that particular beat of that particular measure. No matter what not it is I ge the same effect. I've gone through my event list to see if any controllers are affecting it but none seem to be active on that beat. Please help. I really need that note to hold the entire beat.
P.S. I'm on logic pro 9

I've already checked for multiple notes, nada. I can get no sound on the beat, just not a long sound.
It looks right on the piano roll editor. Thats the problem. I can't use the piano roll to adjust the time of the note. I'm writing a song in the piano roll using the esX24 as my synthesizer. So its a pretty basic bare bones set up. I've tried copying other notes to that beat, no results either. Anynot I put on that partical beat, no matter what i is, will only play a short staccato.
Is there any sort of catche for midi data that might have recorded an error?

Can not restore factory operating system by Rescue and Recovery lenovo 3000 N200 - please HELP!!!

i have lenovo 3000 N200 Notebook , my operating system since yesterday i have been formated the partition C after Rescue and Recovery didn't help and install a diffrent OS, i didn't delete the lenovo Partition!!
now i can't access the Rescue and Recovery
my qustion is - can i some how restore the factory OS by Rescue and Recovery??

The only other option, before calling service and ordering recovery disks, is to try the Rescue and Recovery - Recovery repair diskette. And yes, a floppy drive will be required.

My iBook is dead PLEASE HELP ME OUT!

Hello, i need help pronto! my iBook G4, i always thought it was the best computer ever, i've had Mac for several years now and they always work just fine, but the other day i left my iBook sleeping while it charge the battery and when i came back i tried to turn it on and i notice that the computer was off not sleeping, i wierd smell was comming out of the left down corner of the computer and the computer dont work at all, and the battery never charged! i think that the problem is the power supply, but i can be wrong! im clueless and i really mis my laptop! PLEASE SOMEONE HELP!

Alright take a deep breath everything is going to be fine. First off what kind of smell? I have noticed over the years that all Macs, when they get hot have a scent. When you try to turn your computer on any vital signs? Sounds? Lights? Anything? You might want to take your computer to your local Apple Store to get an evaluation from a Mac Genius. Respond with specifics about everything, you get better responces. I wouldn't be surprised if you fried it. Maybe surge, but its hard to tell.

Windows 7 On Lenovo X200. Please Help!

I need help getting Windows 7 to work properly on my Lenovo X200 laptop. My X200 is dual-booted with Vista and has the Intel X4500. Here's what I need help with, I'll list them in order of importance to me.
1) Windows are messed up! (See the screenshot below) When I first boot they're alright, but after about 10-15 minutes they turn into a mess. Is this common with the beta? Or just me?
2) ThinkVantage Pop-Up (Blue Button) & Pop-ups for FN + Fx Buttons don't work
3) 'PCI Simple Communication Controller' in Device Manager
4) 'Modem Device on High Definition Audio Bus' in Device Manager
5) 'Ethernet Controller' is listed under 'Safely Remove Hardware' in taskbar... not really important to me, but it would be nice if someone already knew how to get rid of it.

I'm not really sure how I resolved them... I just tried a bunch of different drivers. First Windows Update, then from the Drivers folder from my Vista Partition, and then straight from the Lenovo website. I have fixed the messed up windows though as well. I used the old Vista driver instead of the WDDM 1.1 Pre-release from Intel. The old Vista one has worked perfectly so far.
Also, the FN + Fx function stopped working now... so I guess that's still unresolved. My power managment works fine, although I'm not sure how I fixed that either, I'm assuming I just got the driver from my Vista partition.
Other than that, everything is working great now. But, do you know how I can disable Bluetooth & Wireless Lan without the FN + F5 menu? Like in a quick way, without a million menus, or without the hardware switch?

You do not move Adobe applications, you install them, so get the installation files and install them like you originally did.

You will also need your serial number to activate the new installation. If you did not keep a record of it you might be able to find it in your Adobe account online if you registered the program.
You are allowed to have two installations activated so if you wish to you can keep the software working on the old machine. If you wish to remove it or disable it, you need to deactivate it (Help -> Deactivate).

actually this is the first time i use this forum,I was living in lebanon and was using the lebanon store on itunes. when I moved to qatar I kept lebanon store and the same billing information but this time I registered the qatari bank Visa card instead of the lebanese one since I closed my bank account in lebanon and the qatari bank visa card was working fine untill this december it expired when I was doing a purchase, I renewed the card and tried to enter the new expiry date in the apple account but it gives an error that "the payment card you entered is not valid in lebanon" although it is the same card which was working before.the only difference is the bank generated a new expiry date.Aslo when I tried to change the location to qatar, I recieved another error which tells that " a purchase was opened and can not be closed" so I have to close this payment before I change the location and use the card.In this case what should I do? I am stuck, unable to do any application update.

My Mac Pro is completely dead, please help

Hello guys, I got this one: Apple Mac Pro "Eight Core" 3.0 (2,1) from 2008 (I think) and he is completely dead, I mean not a single beep, fan doesnt spin, just complete silence
I tried remove everything and nothing helps so I suspect power supply (or maybe motherboard?,) so what I can do now? I dont have any other mac, so can I use power supply from PC? local apple service told me, they cant do anything, because its old model (they dont have parts)
